"You look beautiful today, sweetie! So cute...but you won't be taken away...right? That's right, I'll kill all of the beasts after my daughter...should I hang them? Burn them? Or stab them...?" my father murmured to himself.

I have no idea what he is saying, but I doubt that I would want to know either.

Today is my fourth birthday and debut.

I am not going to lie, but I am extremely nervous.

I constantly practiced for this moment over the past month, but there is still a lot of pressure.

Today, I will be meeting my future fiance and possible executioner.

The way I die depends on the route that the heroine chooses.

She can choose to build a relationship with one of the male leads or choose to love all of them at once.

But I can almost guarantee that she will be going down the harem route.

It just makes sense.

"Thank you, daddy! I'm ready for today...I think? I'm worried that the nobles will bully me..." I confessed.

"If they laugh at my sweetie...I'll drown them in my water magic..." he said in a serious tone. I think I misheard the last part, so I'll just laugh like I actually understood.

I took my father's hand as Ace and I walked to our carriage.

My debut would be at the castle, which was a two-hour ride away from our estate.

As I stared outside of the windows of our carriage, I thought about what I should say when I meet Florence. I decided to think about it later because I was getting tired.

.

.

2 hours later

.

.

Oops! I fell asleep using Ace as a pillow. Ace didn't seem to mind too much. But for some reason, my father was deeply staring at my face when I woke up. ~Creepy!

My father laughed and took my hand as we exited our carriage.

Then, I saw it.

I thought my home was pretty big, but it paled in comparison to the castle before me.

It was a massive structure made of gold and marble. Surrounded by water, a large bridge connected a platform to the castle entrance.

Above the entrance was a statue dedicated to the first hero of our country.

Atop the entire castle, at the highest point, was a pedestal where a large silver bell laid. Our kingdom was named "Silverbell" after all.

Various important structures surrounded the castle, which contributed to its complicated design.

My father watched me as I looked at the castle in awe and chuckled. He led me up long stairs to the entrance. There, he looked at me with complete seriousness.

"Please act with caution in your every move today, sweetie. There are a few detestable rumors about our family every since we imprisoned that woman. Be polite, but have fun," he said while patting my head.

"Yes, of course," I replied.

"Also, keep it a secret that Ace can talk. I, myself, nearly blew up when I realized he could speak. Don't leave anywhere without Ace or walk away with any beasts," he said with a serious tone.

What are these beasts?

Anyway, my father walked in first, leaving me to be the last to enter the castle.

As soon as I walk in, my debut party would begin and all attention would be on me.

I breathed in and gave a heavy sigh. I calmed myself and then opened the doors.

"Cordelia de Boren Cyllia has arrived," a man boomed.

In a brief second, I felt the stares of every person in that room. But for some reason, they continued to stare at me.

The women in the room had wide eyes.

The men in the room slowly turned red.

I even saw some bloody noses.

The person who had the reddest face was my father.

He looked really mad for some reason.

Was there something on my face?

There were only a few people in the room who actually noticed Ace.

Their expressions turned to shock as they looked to Ace and back to me.

I guess they were surprised that I had a dragon familiar, since familiars, in general, were extremely rare-not to mention a dragon one.

Everyone continued to stare at me, which really bothered me.

Why? I was confused about why they continued to stare, but I became embarrassed and quickly covered my face with my hat.

My own face was red now.

I immediately grabbed a ton of food.

Food is the only thing that will calm me down.

Basically, every food you could think of was at the All-You-Can-Eat Buffet corner in the ballroom.

Everything was made by the top chefs in the kingdom, so I know the food is going to be good.

~Lucky me!

After grabbing my food, I quickly left the vicinity.

As I left the room, I think I saw my father activating his magic...

Technically, it was still the afternoon and my magic test would take place at midnight according to customs. So, I still had a lot of time to do whatever I liked in this huge castle.

I walked around until I found a magical garden. It nearly took my breath away since it was so beautiful.

This garden had a pond that was surrounded by enchanting trees and lights.

I sat down on a tree trunk and thought about everything that happened before. We were silent for a while, but it was peaceful.

"Hey, do you think the nobles think I'm weird? They keep staring..." I asked Ace, breaking the silence.

"Hmm...I don't know. You probably shouldn't ask me," Ace said while trying to comfort me.

"Humph! If they have a problem with my face, I can break their own face," I said with confidence.

"I will never doubt your resolve to punch a noble," Ace said seriously.

"In the future, I decree that every single noble will be required by law to kiss my feet," I said with a smirk.

Hehehe...I can already imagine the future in which the wicked nobles become my servants...

"I agree...nobles will definitely...have some trouble with you," Ace said while flying around.

"I'm not scared of any of those nobles! I'm not even scared of that smelly, stupid prince!" I screamed.

Whoops.

I probably said that too loud.

I froze and looked around at my surroundings. It looks safe.

Ace began to laugh and I did too. We enjoyed ourselves until we heard some rustles in the leaves nearby.

I froze. Did someone hear me mock the prince?!

Oh...I am so dead.

I thought my life was over until an adorably cute child with blonde hair and blue eyes stumbled his way over to me. He looked up at us, surprised that we were here.

If you're thinking that he's the prince, there is no way. The prince in the game had green eyes just like any other royalty.

He was also very sadistic growing up...

"U-umm...h-hi! I got lost...so can you p-please help me?" the child said shyly.

Kyaaaaa! So cute!

Who was this ridiculously fluffy child?!

"Yes! Of course! I'll walk you back to the ballroom," I said giddily. This child was too cute! It was nearly blinding.

I looked at him and grabbed one of his cheeks. I kept squishing and pulling on his cheek, which happened to be very stretchy and soft.

I could get addicted to this...

I was having a lot of fun, but I had to force myself to stop. The poor kid's face was red now, probably due to internal bleeding.

As we walked back the way I came, a startling thought came over me. I looked over to Ace who was equally as shocked.

How did Ace not detect this child's presence?

As a dragon, Ace has extremely strong senses and should have been able to notice this child before it even came close to us. It's not easy for someone to sneak past Ace's senses.

Even my father, the Duke, has a hard time trying to find me thanks to Ace's 360 degree senses.

So how did this child do it?

I stared blankly at the child, thinking of a hundred possible ways that he could've done it.

"I-is there som-something wrong?" said the stuttering child. AHHH!! I AM DYING IN THE CUTENESS!

I'll let this incident slide...for now.

"Nope. Nothing is wrong. No. Nope. Never. So...uhhh...how old are you?" I asked while leading him back.

"...I'm four years old...my birthday debut was a month ago..." he said shyly.

So he's about the same age as me?!

OMG, this adorable thing is going to be in the same grade as me when I go to school! ~Yahoo!

Hmm...but I missed his debut...that kind of sucks.

I hadn't debuted yet, so I wouldn't be allowed to go to his debut even if I wanted to.

"You're the same age as me then! I can't believe that you're older though," I told him.

"R-really?! P-people do-don't often s-say that t-to me..." he muttered.

"Really? I guess you act more mature than other kids?"

As we neared the ballroom, he stopped to say goodbye.

"Goodbye! Umm...thank you for guiding m-me!" he said while bowing.

S-so cute! AHH! I died a little on the inside.

Can I just squish this child until he explodes?!

No...that would be considered murder...

"You're welcome! I hope I can see you again soon," I said while patting his head. He looked up and just smiled.

Wow.

He's like one of the gods when he smiles.

That smile can kill.

I left and walked over to my father who had some...red wine(?) on his hands. He was talking to a few guys who all had some pretty weird expressions. When he saw me, he perked up.

"Oh, sweetie! I was looking for you! Let's go meet the king and queen," he said while picking up my hand.

I nodded and followed him as he led me to the back of the ballroom. There was a grand throne that shone of gold and other valuable metals.

Wow. Our king is probably conceited...

Ace, my father, and I walked up to the stairs to the throne. When we reached the top, I was shocked.

I thought the king would be some old guy, but he was a green-eyed beauty. The queen was also remarkably pretty.

No matter what their race is, every single person from the direct line of the royal family has green eyes.

The royal families of the countries: Silverbell, Alfheim, Aquaria, Oakwood, Macrog, and Redleaf all have green eyes.

So it made sense that our king would have such shocking green eyes. They were the irreplaceable proof of royalty of all the races.

Our queen didn't have green eyes because she used to be a noble before she married into royalty.

But, I obviously noticed Ace's emerald green eyes. I tried to question him about it before, but he chose to keep it a secret from me.

The dragon race was supposed to have lost their royal family during ancient times. So, I wonder why Ace has green eyes then.

Oh well...no one else seemed notice Ace's eyes, so it's okay...for now.

"Pleased to make your acquaintance, King Gloria and Queen Gloria," I spoke politely.

"Oh! No need to be polite. Can you call me 'uncle' instead?" he asked with a sweet smile.

"Uhh...sure, Uncle Gloria," I said with my own sweet smile.

"Ahh! So cute!!!" He grabbed me and began to squeeze me...exactly like my father.

"C-can't breathe!" I squeaked out.

"Oh my! I'm so sorry!" he said while looking sad.

He is an exact copy of my dad. I guess I understand why the king and my dad are best friends now.

"It's fine, but don't do that ever again, Uncle Gloria!" I said loudly.

Humph.

"I'm really sorry! Err...how about you meet my son? I'm sure you'll get along with my son," he said quickly.

I guess I'm about to meet my possible executioner. I'm not scared anymore. This kid was going down.

The king waved his hands to some servants and they immediately hurried off to escort the prince.

As they walked up to the stairs, I felt my heart drop.

The servants were escorting the prince.

By their side was the adorable little boy.

He was the same one I had met before.

But instead of blue eyes, the little boy had shocking green eyes.

The cute boy's true identity is...a sadistic prince...

Nooooo...
