"Good morning, milady. Please allow me to prepare you for breakfast," Grey said as gently woke me up from my sleep.

He shook me softly as I groaned.

"Noooo...Five more minutes..." I mumbled as I made myself comfy again.

"I'm sorry, but every time you say, 'Five more minutes,' you always lie and sleep even more," Grey said as he shook me a little harder.

"That's the point...idiot."

Why do we have to wake up in the morning anyway?! Is it really necessary to be awake for at least a dozen hours every day?

Just...let me sleeeeeeep...

In my defiance, I grabbed Ace, who was sleeping beside me, and ducked my head underneath my blankets. Maybe, if I hide, Grey will give up and go away...

But instead of letting me sleep, he used some of his shadow magic to pick me up from my bed.

"Whyyyyyy..." I said with annoyance.

Seriously...this guy is starting to get on my nerves...

"Hmm...Well, if you want to go back to sleep, you can," Grey said with a smile.

"Yeah...I want to go back to sleep, so put me down!" I yelled at him.

"Alright then. I guess you don't want to go to your first magic lesson with the royal tutor...You can stay at home while the young master and I go study magic," he said with a chuckle.

"Huh...? Sure...You guys go study mag-...WAIT! I WANNA GO!" I said as I suddenly became alert.

Today is the day that I get to learn how to use MAGIC!!!

M. A. G. I. C.

This is every otaku's dream!!!

I want to learn magic! I need to learn magic!

"Are you sure? I thought milady wanted to sleep..." Grey said sarcastically.

"NO! I want to go! Get me ready! Quick!" I yelled as I jumped out of bed.

After the maids got me ready, I dragged Ace, who is also a deep sleeper, out of my bed and quickly demolished my breakfast.

"Be careful, Cordelia. You might choke..." Ace warned me as he flew to my side drowsily.

"Nom! Nom nom nom nom! Fooooood!" I said as I stuffed my face full of food.

Ace just sighed and watched me eat.

Hehehe...In a few days, I will finally have the power of magic to destroy the male leads! If they ever try to kill me...hehehe...they will die...hehehe...hahaha...Hahaha...HAHAHAH–

Then, I choked on my food while I was laughing.

Whoops.

I immediately gulped down some water to clear my throat.

When I felt better, I ran to get my brother, Ash.

We need to get to class!

If you guys were wondering, I am going to take magic classes with the prince, Florence, my brother, Ash, my servant, Grey, and my dragon, Ace.

Originally, I was going to study under the royal tutor with only Florence.

But then, I got a new brother, so we decided to let him study with me since he's technically the heir of the Duke family.

Grey is coming with me to magic classes because he is my personal servant. He needs to be strong enough to protect me, so he'll have to study too.

Ace is coming with me because he's my familiar, so he must be with me no matter what.

Anyway, all five of us are going to study together before we start going to Greenwood Academy!

It sounds super fun...but...this means that I'll have to hang out with my potential murderers for a few extra years before school starts...

Yay...

Luckily, not all of the four male leads are with me yet. The last male lead is Mattius Scott and he hasn't appeared yet.

I don't think I'll meet him soon, but I have to prepare myself for when I do.

Hehehe...this is going to be fun~

2 Hours Later

.

.

The carriage ride to the castle is two whole stupid hours.

Ughhh...

I have to sit in the carriage for TWO WHOLE FREAKING HOURS every single time I need to get to class.

I don't know about you guys, but back when I was on Earth, we had something called cars. But now, I am stuck with carriages.

Carriages are literally the most uncomfortable things to ever be invented. I would rather walk to the castle for ten hours than to ride a carriage for one hour...Does that mean I am spoiled?

Nah...there's no way I'm spoiled...After all, I am living in a death game!

.

.

A While Later

.

.

When we finally got to the castle, I was incredibly excited.

Woohoo!

"Hey, Grey!! Ash!! Ace!! We're finally here! YAYAYAY!!!" I yelled excitedly.

When I looked at the three of them, I noticed that Grey had a dark expression on his face as we neared the castle.

"..."

Grey was completely silent and looked a little green...Is he okay?

Grey quietly excused himself and left the area. Actually, it seemed as if he was running away from the castle...He was acting so weird...

Hmm...I wonder what is wrong with him.

Anyway...I'll...go into the castle without him...Maybe he just needs fresh air...

While I was walking to the castle, I remembered that there was a huge grand staircase, from where we were, to the castle's entrance.

In order to go into the castle quicker, I had the great idea to run up the hundreds of stairs in my heels! In one quick moment, I began to sprint up the stairs.

"Don't run, Cordelia! You're going to trip on the stairs if you do!" Ash yelled at me as he ran up the stairs with me.

"That's stupid! Who's actually going to trip...WAHH!!" I screamed as I tripped.

As I fell, Ace used some wind magic to pick me up.

"Please be careful. You're clumsy, so you'll probably get hurt again," Ace whispered quietly with a sigh as he flew by me.

Currently, Ace can't talk in public since no one knows he can even speak. So, whenever he feels that he absolutely needs to say something, he will whisper it to me.

...But did he actually have to say that to me?

"See! I told you that you would fall, YOU IDIOT!" Ash scolded me as he held out his hand to help me.

Ash blushed as he waited for me to hold his hand.

Heh.

This tsundere...

I grabbed his hand and laughed.

"Pfft! You have now been caught by this idiot! Prepare to be dragged up the stairs with me!" I giggled as I continued to run up the stairs while dragging him along.

Ash blushed even more and couldn't say a word throughout the whole time we were running.

In my opinion, I was having a ton of fun with them...before Ash's hair caught on fire.

"AH!!!! FIRE!!!!" Ash yelled as he let go of my hand.

He tried his best to stop the fire on his head, but he couldn't.

The fire finally stopped when Ace used some of his water magic on Ash's head. This, of course, left Ash drenched with water.

For some reason, when Ash was dripping in water...his handsomeness intensified.

Isn't he a kid?!

Maybe living in this world is making me become a pedophile...After all, my mental age is about 20-years-old. So...I shouldn't find any of these kids...hot...right?

"Darn it..." someone said at the top of the stairs, near the entrance of the castle.

Revealing himself was the prince, Florence.

"...YOU!" Ash yelled at the prince.

Huh.

Florence had fire magic...right?

So the one who lit Ash's hair on fire was...

Pfft.

If you guys have forgotten, all of the guys with me can use magic already.

Florence can use fire and lightning magic. His MP is 14,530,700,000.

Ash can use stealth and plant magic. His MP is 1,670,450.

Grey can use shadow and poison magic. His MP is 1,523,853.

Ace can use almost all types of magic. He can't use any legendary, taming, dark, light, stealth, and space magic. However, he can use every other magic. He also shares my MP.

I can use water, ice, illusion, creation, destruction, and copy magic...but I don't actually know exactly how to use any of them yet...unlike the other guys. My MP is 13,120,300,000.

So basically, right now, Florence used some of his fire magic to light Ash's hair on fire.

I know that those two don't get along...but...wow. Florence actually hates Ash enough to use fire magic on him...

...Pffffft!

"Alright, you two. Stop fighting and let's go," I said with a tear in my eye after laughing so much.

"NO! HE BURNED MY HAIR!!! AND NOW I AM DRENCHED WITH STUPID WATER!!!" Ash yelled with spite as he looked at Florence.

"...Heh. Are you kidding me?! You are the one at fault! You were getting too close to my fiance," Florence sneered.

"WH-WHAT! SO YOU JUST BURNED MY HAIR BECAUSE I WAS HOLDING MY SISTER'S HAND?!" Ash yelled with anger.

"Yes, I did...and I don't regret a thing," Florence said seriously.

"...You stupid kid!" Ash exclaimed in his anger.

"I'm not a kid!"

"Yes, you're a kid! You're like four! Stop acting like you're older than me!!"

"There's no way you are older than me! How old are you?!"

"I. Am. Five."

"...No way."

"Yeah! I'm older than you, so shut up and give me some respect!!"

"Ugh. You're just old."

"...What did you say?!"

I started laughing again.

Pffft!

Do these toddlers think that they are old?! Welp...they're going to be shocked when they grow up...

"STOP ARGUING NOW!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

The two of them stopped arguing and turned to look at me with surprise clearly written on their faces.

"B-But..." the two of them tried to say before I yelled at them again.

"We need to start classes now! I want to learn how to use magic!!!!!" I yelled as I continued to skip up the stairs to the castle door.

Seriously...why are there so many stairs?! These stairs are not necessary at all!

When I finally reached the top, I looked down the hundreds of stairs.

Wow.

I climbed a lot...

"Forgive me, milady. I am back," Grey said directly behind me.

"AH! Woah! When did you get behind me?!" I said with surprise.

Grey left to go somewhere earlier...so how did he get here at the same time I did?

That's scary...

"I climbed the stairs as quickly as I could...after I finished preparing myself," Grey said with a sigh.

"What do you mean by 'preparing' yourself?" I asked.

"It's nothing, milady. Please don't pry..."

"I see...It's okay then...Just tell me if you need anything."

Clearly, Grey is acting weird, so I won't try to push for answers...but I will definitely talk to him later...

"Follow me! I'll show you guys where everything is," Florence said as he grabbed my hand and dragged me around.

The thing is, Florence is an incredibly fast runner.

I am the slowest runner alive.

So, when he was dragging me around at full speed, I felt like dying.

"Hey! Slow down! I can't run like this! My heart is beating too fast from the running!" I yelled as we ran through the halls.

"You know...my heart can't slow down either when I'm with you," Florence said with a wink as he continued to drag me along.

"Wh-What?!" I squeaked out as my mind slowly became blank.

"Didn't you hear me? I said...you're mine," Florence whispered into my ears as he slowed down his running. He brought me close to him in a hug and...

GAH! STOP!

"No...NO! I WILL NOT BE DEFILED BY A TODDLER!" I yelled as I ran away.

Toddlers are scary people...

I began to run as far as I could away from that kid. I kept on running until I couldn't hear Florence's laugh anymore.

And then I realized that...I was lost...

...Where the heck am I?!

I looked around the area and only saw an empty hallway...

Shoot! I got lost! Why is the castle needlessly big?!

Grr...I guess I'll need someone to help me.

By the way...why is this part of the castle so...empty? The hallway that I was running through had no maids or servants...or anything.

Isn't this the royal castle?! Shouldn't there be maids, servants, or decorative stuff everywhere?

Then...I felt a chill behind my back.

Something isn't right about this part of the castle...this place...

Thump. Thump. Thump.

The silence of the hall was interrupted by the sound of knocking behind a door.

...The sudden noise made my heart rate slowly speed up.

...I know I should be scared...but...I was...a little curious...about what was...behind that door...

...I wonder...who is behind that door?

Slowly, I walked quietly toward where the sound was coming from.

The knocking sound became louder and louder as I approached the intimidating wooden door in front of me.

Then, the sound completely stopped when I stood in front of the door.

Someone was definitely in there.

Shakily, I took my sweaty hand and used it to slowly turn the knob. A creaking sound could be heard as I swung the door open.

The room, behind the door, was completely dark and was filled with research materials.

...Something about the room tells me that I shouldn't be here...

"I-Is someone here?" I asked in the darkness.

From what I could see so far, the room had absolutely no one in it...

But...I could've sworn that there was a person here before...So why is there no one here?!

Just as I was about to leave the scary place, I could hear a laugh.

"Ehehehe~ It's a little girl~ Hehehe..." a man said from the corner of the room.

I could see the silhouette of a man appearing from the darkness. As he came closer, I could finally see his face.

No doubt, this man was in his late 30's and had been living here for a long time.

And...Judging by the way he moved and talked, he was...insane.

He was...scary.

"Little girl~ What are you doing here? Eh? Hehehe..." he spat out with crazy eyes.

I need to get the heck out of here.

"Umm...Hehehe? I just got lost and accidentally got here...so uhh...I have to go now!" I said as calmly as I could and started to leave.

"Really~ Are you sure you're not being mean? You better not try to escape...okay?" the man said as he moved his limbs and body crazily.

"N-No! I'll be leaving so...uh...yeah!" I squeaked as I tried to leave the room.

"Ehehehe~ I'll see you soon~ Cordelia..." he said with a large twisted smile.

H-How did he know my name...?

Just before I could walk out the door, I saw Florence standing outside the room.

"Wow...How did you get here on your own!?" Florence said with a hint of shock in his voice.

Huh?

"Hehehe~ Prince~ It's so nice to see you~ Little boy~ Ehehe..." the man said with random giggles.

"Uhh...Do you know this man?" I whispered to Florence.

"Pfft! Cordelia, meet Sir Maddy," Florence said with a small chuckle.

Sir Maddy? This guy has been knighted?!

"Nice to meet you~ Cordelia~ Ehehehe~ Little girl~ Hehehe~" Sir Maddy spat out with a dark grin.

"...He's the royal tutor," Florence continued.

Wait...

No...way...

R-Royal tutor?!

"H-He's our teacher...?" I asked with doubt.

"Yes, he is~" Florence said while imitating the man's crazy movements.

...

No way.

This man was known as the smartest scholar in the kingdom?!
