I mourned the death of my lost breakfast.

How dare they...

How dare they...

How dare they...

I'll ruin them all.

I'll make them wish they were never born...

Yes...I will use my destruction magic against them all.

Yes...

They'll all die.

I chuckled loudly as I stood up quickly, slamming my hands on my table as if to make a statement.

"...C-Cordelia...th-think about what y-you're doing b-before..." Ash began to stutter and hold me back.

"I am thinking. I am very calm. Very calm. Why are you so worried, Ash? There's no reason to be worried," I smiled darkly as I pushed Ash out of the way.

Very faintly, I think I could hear all of the male leads sigh in disbelief.

I began walking toward the pair of twins that were fighting one another on the other side of the room.

"You two...stop fighting..." I murmured nicely when I reached the two of them.

The twins were having a catfight over some unknown reason.

I didn't care what they were fighting about.

They could've ruined the meal of anyone else in the room.

But they ruined mine.

I would make sure that they understood that this would be the worst mistake of their lives.

"Don't talk to me," said one twin loudly as he threw an apple at his brother.

"What did I do?" the other twin asked as he threw a bowl of oatmeal in confusion.

"Stop. Fighting," I repeated but the boys were so focused on their casual battle to the death that they didn't hear me.

I watched them as they continued fighting.

"...Hey...you," said one twin as he pointed at some random noble boy in the crowd that was watching them.

"H-Huh?! M-Me?!" the noble boy squeaked as he pointed at himself.

"...I'll give you 1,000,000 gold coins if you knock some sense into him," the twin said with an irritated look on his face.

"E-Excuse me?! 1,000,000 GOLD COINS?!" the noble yelled in shock.

"Are you going to do it or not?" asked the twin haughtily.

"1,000,000 gold coins is enough for me to buy a grand castle in the prime lands of the East though?!" yelled the noble.

"Yeah, whatever. Just take care of my brother," the twin said sharply in his impatience.

The noble was just about to make up his mind and attack the other twin before the other twin interrupted.

"...1,500,000 gold coins if you attack him instead," the other twin said with a frown.

"...I'll give...2,000,000," the first twin responded as he raised the price.

"...2,500,000," the other twin didn't give up.

"3,000,000."

"3,500,000."

The noble boy who was dragged into this fight was left confused over what was happening.

As time went by, I grew angrier and angrier.

I was a bomb ready to explode.

Finally, I lost all of my patience and screeched at them.

"DIDN'T YOU HEAR ME?! I SAID TO STOP FIGHTING!" I said as loudly as I could as I stomped on the smooth ground.

...The problem was...

...I was so angry...that I accidentally released some of my magic.

The moment my foot stomped the ground, a huge surge of my ice magic was let out through the floor.

The floor became coated with ice and everyone's feet in the room were frozen to the ground.

Only the male leads and Ace were able to realize what was happening in time and protected themselves before my magic made them immobilized.

Whoops.

A huge uproar of many different voices boomed throughout the cafeteria.

Panic, confusion, and other emotions swirled around in the air.

The twins finally stopped fighting after realizing they couldn't move anymore and turned to face the source of the magic...me.

"Oh. It's a girl," the twins said at the same time.

I stared at the twins for a while, wondering why they looked so...familiar.

They had smooth coffee-colored hair with relaxed taupe-eyes and a mischievous grin that seemed to appear whenever they were intrigued with something.

Both of them were handsome enough to be first-class suitors.

Fortunately, I have been raised with the male leads for a majority of this life, so slightly handsome men don't affect me anymore.

The twins both stood with a seemingly relaxed, yet perfect, posture while they stared at me with slightly wide eyes after I froze their feet to the ground.

One of them was holding onto a black teddy bear that had a monocle and a cute ribbon...but it was missing a leg and had a few cuts and scratches around its body.

The teddy bear didn't seem to suit them in the slightest, but it was with them nonetheless.

Why...do they look so familiar...?

For some reason, I felt as though I had seen these two somewhere before...

"Who are you two...and why are you two messing up the lunches of everyone here...?!" I asked with clear anger in my voice.

"I'm Lin," said one of the twins as he pointed at himself, clearly finding entertainment in his current situation.

"And I'm Min," said the other twin as he clenched the worn out, black teddy bear closer to his chest.

"We're twins," said the both of them at the same time.

I wasn't going to lie...the fact that they were able to say the same things at the same time was pretty cool.

...But I was too mad to care.

"I see...And what gives you two the right to throw around food like this?!" I scolded them with a sharp glare.

The moment I gave a glare, I could hear someone in the crowd scream, "TIE ME UP, THROW ME IN A CAGE, AND STEP ON ME, PLEA-"

I ignored the scream because it was completely irrelevant to what was happening right now.

"Her glare is scary, Lin," said Min.

"I agree with you, Min," said Lin.

"Are you two listening to me?! What gives you the right to cause a commotion so early in the morning like this?! YOU RUINED MY MEAL," I finally screeched.

"She's like a wild animal, Min," said Lin.

"Maybe she's a cow, Lin," said Min.

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING A COW?!" I screamed.

"You," they both answered at the same time.

...

...

...

"...haha...Hahaha...HAHAHAHA..." I started to laugh loudly.

These two boys...really had a death wish.

"Scary," they both said at the same time as they watched me laugh like a maniac.

"Oh...I see that you two want to die..." I chuckled as I activated my destruction magic.

I concentrated all of my magic into my hand, letting the ball of death that was forming grow as big as possible.

Their feet were frozen to the ground...haha...there was no escape for them now.

"Do you think we're going to die, Lin?" said Min.

"Yes, Min," answered Lin.

Before I could throw my destruction magic at them, the male leads quickly took action.

Florence, Ash, Grey, and Deux ran toward me, each grabbing one of my limbs, making me immobile.

"What are you guys doing?! Let me at them!!" I yelled as I attempted to free myself from each of their iron grips.

"No, Lia. We can't let you kill someone on the first day of school," Florence said reasonably into my ear.

"No! I need to kill them all!" I screamed unreasonably.

"Brat, listen to what you're saying right now! We can just buy you another tray of food!" Ash muttered.

"NO! THEY MUST DIE!" I screamed.

.

A Few Minutes Later

.

I finally calmed down enough that the boys let go of me.

"You two are named...Lin and Min, right...?" I asked with slight resentment.

"Yes, he's Min," said Lin as he pointed to his brother.

"And he's Lin," said Min as he pointed back at his brother.

Why did their names sound so familiar to me...?

More than that...the appearance of these two were strikingly similar to something I had seen in the past...

"The next time I see you two fight again...I kill you, okay?" I said threateningly to the two of them.

"Yes, ma'am," they answered.

I grunted and then left the scene.

Classes were going to start in about 15 minutes, so I needed to start walking there.

The male leads, Ace, and Lilly were all trailing behind me as they all sighed in relief.

"...You must really like food," Ace said trying to start a conversation in the empty silence.

I sighed.

I couldn't stay mad around Ace after all.

"Yeah. Food is life. Food is liberty. Food is justice. When I'm hungry, I feel empty and pointless. Food. Is. All. That. Matters. The favor. The joy. The love," I slightly chuckled as I felt my mood get lighter.

"I see...I never knew someone could like food so much," Ace smiled.

"Yeah, well...if you knew me you would know tha-" I said before I cut myself off.

Ah...Why did I have to ruin my own mood...?

Being reminded of Ace's amnesia...never fails to make me upset.

"Yes...?" Ace asked with slight confusion as I stopped talking.

"It's nothing...But how about you? Do you like food?" I asked instead.

"Oh. Well...food is...food? But...meals are enjoyable when I am able to eat with you," Ace said with a small soft chuckle.

"I...see..." I said as I felt myself blush a little.

Why am I blushing?

"Are you feeling okay? Your face is getting a little red..." Ace said with a little worry as he placed his hand on my forehead to test whether I had a fever or not.

On reflex, I swatted Ace's hand off of me.

I could feel the temperatures of my face rise even higher.

"Your face is a little hot...Maybe we should take you to the school nurse..." Ace said as he grabbed my hand to support me.

"NO! Uh...I'm fine. So...let go of me. Please?" I asked as I used my free hand to point at the hand that was intertwined with Ace's.

"Oh...I'm sorry...I didn't realiz-" Ace tried to say before two people behind us forcefully pulled our hands apart.

I stopped walking and turned my head behind me to see Florence and Ash staring at us with irritated looks on their faces.

"If you could...could you not hold hands with my sister right in front of me, buddy?" Ash asked with a dark threatening smile to Ace.

"Lia...don't flirt with others right in front of your fiance...Not when you already know that you're mine..." Florence said as he automatically caged me against a wall.

"Florence?! What are you doing?!" I squeaked with shock at the random turn of the situation as I tried to break free.

But Florence's physical strength overwhelmed me.

"You're making me a little jealous, Lia. Don't you understand?" he asked with a seductive smirk as he thumped his head on the side of the wall next to my head.

My face became 20x redder than I had ever been in my life.

"I- Uh...I-" I tried to say but the words didn't come right.

Florence moved his face back a little to see my expression, smiling once he saw how red I was.

"Good," Florence said with a smile as he let me go.

What was good?!

What the heck was he talking about...

It was making me confused.

I turned to Ace, who was getting scolded by Ash.

"My sister isn't someone who you can touch easily, alright?! The only who can touch her is m-" Ash was yelling before Florence cut him off.

"Me. The only one who can touch her is me. Lia's my lovely little toy after all," Florence chuckled darkly as he knocked Ash behind the head.

Ash looked like he was ready to explode at any moment.

I'm sure Ash was just as irritated as me.

Florence was about to casually walk ahead of all of us before someone stopped him.

Ace had his hand gripped around Florence's arm, forcing Florence to stop walking and to stare at Ace in surprise.

Never...had Ace ever acted out of bounds, especially to any of the male leads.

And yet, Ace was grasping onto the country's crown prince's arm without a single care of the consequences.

"...You...please...take that back..." Ace murmured as he glared downwards at Florence with piercing eyes.

"...Are you talking to me?" Florence said a little sharply as he shook Ace's hand off of his arm.

"I said to take back what you said, Florence," Ace said a little clearer as he referred to the prince rudely.

"I don't understand what you're trying to say here, Ace," Florence chuckled darkly as he mimicked Ace's tone.

"Don't treat Cordelia as an object," Ace simply stated as he took a step closer to Florence.

"Huh?! Where is this coming from?!" Florence asked with a slightly raised voice.

"Stop calling Cordelia your toy. It's irritating," Ace growled.

"Haha...What a funny joke," Florence laughed with contempt in his eyes.

"I wasn't joking. Stop treating Cordelia as an object of your amusement," Ace repeated darkly.

"Listen...Ace...I've known you for years now. And I don't recall you being so...forward..." Florence said with a dark gleam in his eyes.

"..." Ace bit his tongue.

"Ah...wait. I forgot. You can't remember how you used to be, right? That was a bit mean of me..." Florence smiled.

"...It's true that I can't remember..."

"Then, why do you care so much? I don't remember your past self caring too much about anything I said or did," Florence sarcastically murmured.

"..."

"Are you going to answer me?" Florence asked with a smirk.

"...I don't know."

"Huh? What is that supposed to mean?!" Florence asked loudly.

"I don't know," Ace repeated with a troubled look on his face.

"If you don't know why you're like this, then don't suddenly grab my arm next time, okay?" Florence asked with a sarcastic smile.

Multiple emotions seemed to cross Ace's eyes in a single moment: bitterness, annoyance, and confusion.

But, most of all, Ace seemed to be completely troubled with himself, as if he was dealing with some problems deep within him.

Was Ace on the verge of remembering something...?

...Or was there something truly wrong with him on the inside?

"Are you okay, Ace?" I asked him with a slight worry.

"I'm fine. It's nothing. Thank you for asking though," Ace murmured, which immediately ended the conversation.

We continued walking while bathing in the awkward silence.

Eventually, Ash and Deux had to separate from the group since the upperclassmen classrooms were in a separate building than the first years.

I opened up the small white bag that wrapped around one of my shoulders and hung loosely by my waist.

The only things that were in my bag were two notebooks, two pens (one black and one blue), a black folder, and my student handbook.

I grabbed the student handbook and flipped to the last page where the map was.

"Do you guys know what classes you have first?" I asked everyone.

Every student had three classes in their schedule: standard education, magic, and martial arts.

In standard education, students were taught mathematics, language arts, and history.

For magic and martial arts, students were given specially trained instructors who taught each of the subjects in greater detail.

At the end of the year, there would be a grand final exam that all students were required to take in order to assess their rankings and whether they would be able to proceed to the next year or not.

If a student failed this exam, they were automatically expelled from the school.

Currently, the person with the highest-ranking out of all the students in the entire school was Deux.

Second-place went to Ash.

First-years had no rankings of their own yet, so none of the other male leads were even on the board.

I sighed.

No matter whatever happened in the storyline, the male leads would always be on top.

After checking with everyone about their schedules, I learned that I would be sharing my first class, magic, with Florence, Lilly, and Ace.

My second class, standard education, would be with Florence, Grey, and Ace, which was a horrible combination in my opinion...

My third class was martial arts, and I would be taking this class with Ace only.

Out of everyone, Ace was the only person who had the exact same schedule as me.

...I wonder if the king had anything to do with this...

After all, he was the one who pressured Ace into going school with all of us even though he had amnesia.

"I guess this is where we split up with Grey," I said as I waved goodbye to Grey.

Grey gave a small bow and then left us all to go to his first class, martial arts.

The rest of us walked to our first class together, magic.

To be honest, I was curious about what we would be learning...since all the male leads, Ace, and I had already received intense training in all subjects.

After a while, we stopped in front of a door that said: "Magic I - Mr. Bloodsworth."

"Who do you think Mr. Bloodsworth will be like?" I asked out loud.

"Who knows...He could be anyone," Florence sighed as he opened the door without hesitation and walked in.

With Florence in the lead, we all walked into the classroom with wide eyes in awe.

This classroom was humongous by any means, but it wasn't small enough to be considered average.

The room itself was sleek and was designed perfectly to serve its function: rows of long desks, seats, and small staircase that led to the back seats.

It was styled in more of a college-style seating arrangement.

Large windows lined up against the opposite wall, allowing natural light to flood the room.

"Where do you guys think we should sit?" I asked Florence and Lilly as I looked at the classroom layout.

"It'd probably be best to sit somewhere in the middle row by the window," Lilly smiled as she pointed in the direction of where she decided we should sit.

"I'm fine with that. How about you, Florence?" I asked to confirm if he was okay to sit where we chose.

"Anywhere is fine as long as I am with you, of course, my darling," Florence murmured into my ear as he looped his arms around my waist.

I shuddered at his touch and immediately attempted to push him off of me.

"Get. Off. Of. Me. We are in public," I muttered as I stomped my foot into Florence's shin.

"Ah...Of course, I'll do anything for you, Lia," Florence chuckled as he let go of me.

As we all walked up the steps to the middle row, I could feel the stares of a dozen people watching our every movement.

It was...kind of creepy.

Small whispers could be heard around the classroom, but I refused to acknowledge them and continued along with the others.

Once we reached our seats, we all sat down with a sigh.

For some reason, I felt way too tired to be normal....after all...this morning was a complete mess.

The moment the time came when the class would start, I heard the classroom door open.

And, assuming that it was the teacher, I quickly turned my head to see who he was.

But, it wasn't the teacher.

Instead, it was the treacherous, awful, cruel, horrible, and disgusting twins from this morning, Lin and Min.

"Oh. The cow is here, Lin," Min said in surprise as he pointed at me.

"Ah. I see her, Min," Lin said as he also pointed at me.

"Do you think we should pet her, Lin?"

"We'll die, Min."

"Let's do it anyway, Lin."

"Sure, Min."

I didn't know if they realized this...but I could hear them calling me a cow from where I was at.

Without a doubt, I grew angrier.

Why the heck, out of everyone that would walk through the classroom door, did the FLIPPING TWINS come?!

Eventually, the twins decided it would be a good idea to walk towards me to say hi.

Isn't class supposed to start yet?!

Whyyyyy do I need to suffer like this?!

I sat quietly and attempted to melt away into my chair, but it didn't work.

The twins were walking up to where the others and I were sitting.

I glared at the two, but they never stopped walking toward me.

Couldn't these twins take a hint?!

I did not want them to get even near me.

SO WHY ARE THEY WALKING CLOSER TO ME?!

I hissed at them the moment they were next to me.

"Hi there, cow-I mean Cordelia," Lin and Min both said at the same time.

"...hello...bye...ok...now go away," I muttered as I tried to shoo them away like flies.

"We wanted a peace treaty, right, Min?" Lin asked his brother to confirm.

"Yeah, Lin," Min responded.

"Sorry, but I don't want or need a peace treaty," I smiled as I automatically rejected them.

"Nonsense," both of the twins said at the same time.

UGHHH.

"When is the class going to start," I whined as I slammed my head onto the desk in front of me.

Just as the words finished leaving my mouth, the classroom door opened again and the room lights dimmed.

"Hello, new students. I am Mr. Bloodsworth. I hope we'll all have a lovely year together," a man said as he walked through the door covered in blood.

And that's when I realized...

...that our teacher, Mr. Bloodsworth...

...was not normal in the slightest.

Darn.

Can I go back home?
