"Hello, new students. I am Mr. Bloodsworth. I hope we'll all have a lovely year together," a man said as he walked through the classroom door covered in blood.
Scared shrieks could be heard from a few female students in the class.
Everyone in the room was just about ready to stand up from their seats and just leave.
Only two people in the entire room had the guts to ask the teacher questions.
And, yes, they were the twins, Lin and Min.
One of the twins raised his hand, prompting Mr. Bloodsworth to look at him and nod for the twin to continue.
"Why is there blood on your clothes?" the twin asked without thinking twice about what he was asking.
Mr. Bloodsworth looked confused for a moment before he looked down at his outfit in shock.
"Oh, dear...I'm sorry...It looks like I did it again..." Mr. Bloodsworth sighed as he began licking and smearing the blood off of his face.
Everyone began to mutter and a few wimpy kids began to cry in fear.
Both Florence and I were completely fine though.
We've dealt with a...questionable...teacher in the past.
Obviously, none of the other kids here were as experienced as we were.
"What does blood taste like?" the other twin asked as he watched Mr. Bloodsworth lick the blood off of his hands.
"Blood? Why would I know what blood tastes like?" replied Mr. Bloodsworth as he continued to consume the blood on his face in front of everyone.
"He's crazy, Lin," Min said bluntly.
"I agree, Min," Lin nodded.
Were these twins crazy?!
They were literally bad-mouthing a possible serial killer right in front of his face.
I was ready to bet ten copper coins that their heads were going to be chopped off by Mr. Bloodsworth.
"...I'm crazy...? No...that can't be...I'm not crazy, right? Right...?! Right?! RIGHT?!RIGHT?! RIIIIIIIGHHHHTTT?!?!?!?!" Mr. Bloodsworth began to scream at all of us as if we were going to answer him.
At this moment, the entire class full of proud aristocratic kids had the same thought: "Mommy...please...save me..."
"Oh...dear. It looks like I've scared you all...I'm sorry," Mr. Bloodsworth suddenly spoke professionally and softly within a split second after screaming at us.
I turned to Florence to give him a sideways glance that translated to: "Here we go again."
"DID ANYONE HEAR ME?! I SAID I WAS SORRY!" Mr. Bloodsworth started screaming again.
"W-We...We f-forgive y-you...Mr. B-Blood...B-Bloodsworth..." murmured the entire class.
"I'm so happy you all forgive me! Well then, let's start our first day of class together, okay?" Mr. Bloodsworth said merrily as he switched to being happy and carefree again.
I shuddered as I watched Mr. Bloodsworth giggle in joy.
I mean...it's fine for someone to smile and be happy, of course, but...when you're a grown man drenched in blood and you're giggling like a toddler who just got the best birthday present ever...
...It's different.
"Do any of you have any other questions to ask before I begin?" Mr. Bloodsworth asked everyone.
"Yes, who's blood is on your cloth-" one of the twins was about to ask before I took his head and smashed it down on the desk next to mine.
Silence enveloped the room as the class looked at me with slight admiration.
Absolutely none of us needed the twins to blurt out something unnecessary again.
"Min? Min? Are you alright?" Lin asked as he poked at his brother.
"Yeah...Lin...I'm good..." Min murmured with a slight groan as he stood up again, clenching his black teddy bear closer to his chest.
"...You," Lin muttered as he looked at me with irritated surprise.
"What," I said sharply with a glare back at them.
I glared at him as he glared back at me.
"NOOOO FIGHTING! NOOOO VIOLENCE! THIS IS A PEACEFUL SETTING!" screamed Mr. Bloodsworth, the only person in the room who was drenched in unknown blood.
"She's the one who hurt Min first," Lin said as he pointed as me.
"Wha-" I tried to say and defend myself before Mr. Bloodsworth interrupted.
"Young miss...I do not tolerate any violence in my classroom, alright?! If you dare to hurt another one of your fellow classmates, I will stab you. So, no violence, okay?!" our teacher scolded me.
"...Yes, sir..." I murmured.
"I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!! SPEAK LOUDER!!!! NOW!!!!!" screamed Mr. Bloodsworth in a scary loud voice.
I clenched my hands into fists and gave another glare to Lin before responding to our insane teacher.
"Yes, sir," I said clearer.
"Ah...it's alright, young lady. We all make mistakes sometimes. Now, let's continue to the first lesson, okay?" the teacher asked the class in a creepy smile.
"Y-Yes...sir...!" the class said in unison.
I groaned as I slouched in my chair, which was extremely unbecoming of a noble lady like myself.
"Your fault," Lin said haughtily with a look of victory.
"I was only trying to protect the entire class from one of your tactless questions. You would've gotten Mr. Bloodsworth angry again!" I whispered loudly.
"You were too violent," Min muttered as he clenched his head in fake pain.
"I thought you two were strong enough to take it...But it turns out you two are just a pair of babies..." I muttered as I turned my face away from them in irritation.
"We might be babies...but you're a violent cow," Lin snorted.
"I. Am. Not. A. Cow. Who the heck are you to even call me that?!" I said in a louder whisper.
"Us?" Lin questioned as he turned to his brother, Min, to give him a look.
"He's Lin," Min smiled as he pointed to Lin.
"He's Min," Lin smiled as he also pointed to Min.
"We're the 'Trinity' brothers," they both said at the same time.
...Huh?
"...C-Can you repeat that again?" I stuttered as I slowly tried to connect the dots.
"I'm Min Trinity," said Min.
"I'm Lin Trinity," said Lin.
"We're the 'Trinity' brothers," they both said at the same time.
I could feel my heart fall out of my chest and splat onto the ground.
Why didn't I remember before?!
Lin and Min...were the twin characters in "Love, Love in the Super Cool Magic Academy of Incredibly Hot Guys," the otome game that this world was based on.
They were also known as...Hidden Characters #2 and #3.
...I want to cry.
Argh!
I completely forgot about the hidden characters!!
After years of living in this game world, I forgot about the other routes players could go through...
Shoot.
This was bad.
I thought I only had to watch out for the male leads killing me in the future...but now I have to factor in...three more flipping hidden characters.
No. No. No. No. No.
I could hear the devil god, Gadia, laughing somewhere in the back of my head.
Lin and Min Trinity...were also able to lead me down to my death flag.
They killed me easily too...with money.
In the game, Lin and Min were the funny twins that every cliche game enjoyed having.
They said everything that came to their minds...they were protective of one another...and they were in their own world.
They had perfect twin telepathy and could basically read the other's mind if they wanted to.
And their most notable trait was the fact that they were rich.
They were in the top 0.000001% in the entire nation.
In comparison to the entire dukedom...the twins had about fifteen times more income.
Lin and Min had the money we wish we all had...and they knew how to use it to mess with other people.
Being wealthy business owners at the young age of 16, they had a huge influence over the economy and were able to turn people into their puppets by bribing them for fun.
In the game, these twins fell for Lilly, the heroine, simply for the fact that she was not interested in their money in the slightest.
Every other noble in the entire school was willing to throw themselves at the feet of the twins for just a fraction of their money, but Lilly was the only person who had ever kept her composure with them.
When they found out that Lilly was being bullied by me, the villainess of this otome game world, they used their money and connections to utterly destroy me.
By offering Cordelia a huge sum of money to attend a tea party in their place...they were able to give her a quick, yet extremely dark death.
Cordelia, naive and greedy for money, followed a group of students, who were all bribed by the twins, to the tea party she was meant to attend.
Within a few seconds, she was pinned down onto the ground by a bunch of the noble students.
The twins would then walk into the scene holding and waving bags of gold coins in front of their puppets.
Cruelly, the noble students cut through her flesh and gutted her insides until she was only a bag of skin left.
She cried and screamed in pain...but no one came to save her.
No one liked her in the first place anyway.
All of her bones...organs...intestines...and everything was removed from her body. Her eyes were also removed and replaced with two rubies instead.
Then the twins stuffed her body with the gold coins they had on hand and told the rest of the noble students that if they were able to beat the money out of the stuffed body like a piñata...they would be able to keep all of it.
And so the rest of the nobles enjoyed their tea party...by playing black-hearted and psychotic games.
Lilly was ignorant of all of this, of course.
Out of all the ways to die...the twins' method of killing me was the absolute darkest...and was probably second to only Mattius/Deux method of killing me slowly and painfully over a span of months.
No matter how the twins acted...they were ruthless deep down on the inside and were not to be underestimated.
They were powerful and smart businessmen and did not care about anyone but themselves in the slightest.
Only Lilly was able to grab their interest.
And...right now...I just...slammed one of their heads down on a table.
This was bad.
Really bad.
I could already see my destruction flag in front of me.
I messed up.
I'm going to die.
"...and next is the lady with the aqua hair and sapphire eyes," Mr. Bloodsworth said with a point towards me as I quickly snapped back into reality.
Shoot.
I wasn't listening to the teacher at all.
I stood up sharply in my seat and looked around the class for hints.
"Uhh...I-" I muttered as I tried to figure out what was happening.
"Introduce yourself," Lilly whispered under her breath to help me out.
Thank you, Lilly!!!!!
"My name is Cordelia de Boren Cyllia. I hope to get along with all of you this year," I said loudly and clearly as I pretended to be a proper noble lady.
I could hear whispers flood the room as the rest of the students finally realized who I was.
"She's the future crown princess of Silverbell...?!" one noble kid whispered loudly to his friends.
"...She's n-not...s-single..." another kid cried as he sniffled.
"Idiot. She was in her own league in the first place," the other noble kid said with a sigh.
"But I heard some rumors about Lady Cyllia..." one noble person brought up.
"...Me too," another kid nodded.
"Apparently...she..." one of the nobles whispered quietly to the point where I couldn't hear the rest of what he said.
There were rumors about me?!
Why.
Well...I was the future crown princess after all...so it was inevitable that there would be at least a few rumors about me.
"And what are your magic attributes?" Mr. Bloodsworth asked as he urged me to continue.
"Yes, my attributes are-" I tried to say before I felt Florence stroke my leg with his hand under the table.
"Shh...Lia...Let's not say too much here...okay?" Florence said with a sadistic wink as he held one finger to his lips in order to silence me.
It was only then that I realized that I should lie to the class about my magic.
If I told the truth...the classroom would go crazy.
After all, I had water, ice, illusion, creation, destruction, and copy magic, which was absolutely not normal in any situation for a single person to have.
"My attributes ar-" I tried to say again...but for some reason...even though I already knew to keep half of my magic a secret...Florence was still stroking my leg.
"...why are you not stopping?!" I whispered loudly with a red face toward Florence.
"Huh? What are you talking about, Lia? I don't understand what you mean...Please continue," Florence smirked as he continued to graze his hands up and down my legs.
"My attribu-" I tried to say again, but Florence wouldn't stop and I couldn't make a scene by slapping the crown prince in front of everyone.
"Miss Cordelia? Are you alright? Are you...choking?" Mr. Bloodsworth asked with a creepy look that was definitely not out of worry.
"My...attri-" I tried once more, but my voice squeaked.
THIS SADISTIC BEAST!
What was even worse was that all of the boys in the class were getting nose bleeds for some reason, which was scary. Perhaps they were all getting infected by the nosebleed disease that was spreading around the school.
I was about to melt in embarrassment before Ace gently removed Florence's hand off of my leg.
"Stop, please. Cordelia's had enough," Ace said to Florence.
Florence and Ace stared at each other...and I was pretty sure that I could see sparks fly between the two of them.
This allowed me to finish what I was trying to say.
"My attributes are ice and illusion," I finally answered.
The class clapped for a bit and I sat back down onto my seat while giving sharp glares to Florence.
"This is interesting, Lin," Min said as he stared at me.
"This is very interesting, Min," Lin agreed as he also stared at me.
I looked at the twins.
What were the twins even talking about...?
Both of them were staring deeply into me as if they could see my soul and everything that I kept to myself.
They were creepy.
Especially since one of them was holding onto a stuffed teddy bear full of tears and holes.
It was really creepy.
"ALRIGHT, KIDS! PAY ATTENTION OR I'LL STAB ONE OF YOU, OKAY?!" Mr. Bloodsworth yelled to get all of our attention.
Due to the simple fact that none of us wanted to be stabbed, we all snapped into focus and nodded along with the crazy man.
"The first thing we will learn is how to feel your magic. Now, everyone, do it," Mr. Bloodsworth announced the class as we all responded in silence.
"Will you explain to us..." Min started.
"...how to feel magic?" Lin asked as he completed Min's sentence easily.
"No. It's easy. Just do it," Mr. Bloodsworth replied bluntly.
The class stared at our teacher in complete silence.
"I SAID TO START DOING IT!!! NOW!!!" Mr. Bloodsworth yelled.
Everyone immediately stood up in their chairs, formed small groups, and tried to "feel" magic for the first time without any instruction.
Florence, Ace, and I had learned this years ago and we were able to feel magic even in our sleep.
It was then that I had finally realized the reality of the situation.
I was going to have to...relearn everything from the very beginning.
Ugh...
Why do I have to even go to school...?
Take me home...
.
.
1.5 Hours Later
.
.
"That's all for today, class. I'll see you all here tomorrow," Mr. Bloodworth said as he waved at all of us.
Immediately, the majority of the class stood up and ran out of the nightmarish class.
"I'LL SEE YOU ALL TOMORROW, OKAY?!" Mr. Bloodsworth screamed as he left the room and began chasing the students.
This left the classroom completely empty of people besides the twins, Florence, Ace, Lilly, and I.
"We have thirty minutes to hang around before our next classes start, right?" I asked as I took a seat at an empty desk.
"Yeah...but I plan on going to my next class early...just in case my next teacher is a bit...like Mr. Bloodsworth..." Lilly said with a small smile.
"Oh...sure. Then, I guess I'll see you when we get back to the dorms, Lilly," I also smiled as I waved her bye.
Then, a thought came to my mind.
"Hey...you two can go to our next class first, okay? I have something I want to do here first," I said to Florence and Ace as I implied that I wanted to be alone.
Florence and Ace were going to be in the same class as me next period along with Grey.
I was going to meet up with all of them later anyway, so it was fine to split up now.
Both Florence and Ace gave me a questioning look, but they just agreed and left like I hoped they would.
Only me and the twins were left in the room.
"Hey...so I know we left off on a bad spot...but I was hoping we could still be friends!" I said optimistically with a smile when I confirmed that the other two had really left.
But deep down I was thinking: I don't want to die. I don't want to die. I don't want to die.
I had to somehow get on their good sides before they decide to kill me.
My plan was to get them to understand that I didn't want their money, which was one of the reasons they were comfortable around Lilly.
If they were comfortable around me, they wouldn't find the need to kill me!
"You want our money?" Min smiled as he cocked his head.
"Is that why you're being nice?" Lin also smiled with a cocked head.
"What? No! I wouldn't want your money," I assured them with my own smile.
"There's no need to be shy..." Min urged me.
"We'll be happy to give you as much as you want..." Lin continued.
"If you do us some favors, of course," the twins smiled with a devil's smile as they spoke at the same time.
I shuddered.
This was most likely how they were able to gain an army of student puppets in the game.
It was only the first day of school though...so they couldn't possibly have too many followers.
In fact, I think I might be the first person they've tried to bribe here so far.
"No, I really don't need your money. But I just wanted to make sure we weren't on bad terms..." I continued.
"So you don't want money..." Min began.
"...but you want connections..." Lin finished.
"Huh? What? No!" I said as I tried to change my wording.
"Then why are you talking to us?" Lin and Min asked at the same time.
"As I said, I was hoping we could be good friends an-" I tried to say before they interrupted me.
"Perhaps...you want us to pay for expensive doctors?" Lin and Min said at the same time with eyes that were staring deep within me.
"Huh!? Why would I need doctors?!" I asked in complete confusion.
"Because...your friend..." Min began with a smile.
"...the one who follows you around," Lin continued.
"Has lost his memories, hasn't he?" they both said at the same time.
I widened my eyes in shock.
"...How did you kno-" I tried to say.
"Or maybe you want us to hire assassins with our connections and money..." Lin and Min murmured at the same time as they continued to stare at me with a large grin that gave me shivers.
"Wha-" I tried to say before I was interrupted again.
"You want revenge..." Min began.
"...On a certain noble couple..." Lin continued.
"...Is it perhaps...the Marquis and Marquess...?" they both smiled as they stared into my soul and read my deepest desires.
They were both staring.
Staring at me without looking away.
It was like they already knew.
Everything about me was as clear as day to them.
Out of reflex, I used my arm to slap them away from me.
I felt that...if they stared at me any longer...they would've been able to see too much.
But instead of hitting the twins away, I accidentally hit the small black teddy bear that Min was holding out of his hands and onto the ground.
The teddy bear landed on the ground with a small thud and both of the twins looked down at the bear in surprise.
I expected them to pick up the bear off of the ground...but then something happened that shouldn't have been possible.
The bear moved...on its own.
It moved into a sitting position in front of us all.
The teddy bear looked up at me with a frown.
"F--k you."
---------------------------------------------------------
A/N: I sure think that you guys weren't expecting that. Yes, the teddy bear can move and talk.
I don't ever curse on this story, in case you guys haven't noticed. But I've made an exception for this teddy bear since that is how he is. All curse words will mostly be censored though~
If you guys are uncomfortable with curse words, I could probably censor them out completely, but this is the internet, so I'm sure many of you are corrupted enough to not care.
Also, I updated this chapter much earlier than usual, since the pandemic has allowed me to spend my Friday mornings by editing instead of going to school~
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed reading this chapter!
Thanks, again, to all my readers/voters/commenters! You guys literally always manage to make my day~
Okie byeee!
