A/N: Well...at this point you all must already know the drill!

This special is...really...really...long like some of the others, so I split it into multiple parts so that I wouldn't die from editing. There may be two or even three parts for this special depending on how I want to split it.

And, I'm sure that you would already be able to guess this, but this special contains profanity (from Sin obviously).

This part of the special does not contain too many heavy themes to be worried about. But, I can't promise anything for the second half/third part of this special coming out next week...

But, please enjoy this chapter!

Third-Person POV

On the night of a cold and dark winter day, an exhausted woman was able to give birth to a pair of twins.

But giving birth to the two boys took too much of a toll on the woman's body so, before breathing her last breaths, the mother held the small bodies of her two sons to her chest.

"May...Gadia...the kind lord and God of this world...please. Please, I beg of you, Lord Gadia...protect them..." the poor woman prayed with an unsteady breath.

The wind howled as snow furiously swirled outside her window.

She looked down at her two sons on her chest and was able to give one last weak smile.

All the pain she felt from giving birth seemed to have vanished when she saw her two wailing boys alive and well.

"You two...are so...cute..." she tried to murmur cheerfully to her sons as her eyelids began to droop.

In that exact moment, the windows flew open from the harsh wind outside and a small ball of light flew through the open window.

Almost like a flower petal in the wind, it fluttered around and hovered over the woman's head.

Everyone in the room was silent, except for the crying newborns, as they watched the beautiful ball of light move closer to the woman's face.

"Are you...a fairy...?" the woman asked the ball of light.

The ball of light didn't answer the woman and, instead, gave a small jingle-like laugh.

"Why are you here...?" the woman asked a different question.

Still, the ball of light did not reply to the woman.

As the being moved closer to the woman, a slight feeling of warmth enveloped the woman and she smiled.

"Please...give my sons...your blessing..." the woman pleaded the fairy in a hoarse voice.

The ball of light gave another jingle-like laugh and did as the woman asked.

With a single tap on both of the boys' foreheads, the boys immediately stopped crying and were enveloped in soft golden light for a brief moment before it slowly faded.

When it was done, the ball of light flew around the woman's head once before leaving the room from the window.

"Thank...you...kind fairy..." the woman said as her voice died away and her eyes closed shut.

The maids within the room dropped to their knees when they realized their kind mistress had passed away.

Some begged the doctors in the room to perform a miracle and save her.

But nothing could be done.

And the woman died with her clueless boys resting on her chest from fatigue.

A Few Moments Later

.

.

"How is my wife?! Is she alright?! What is going on in there?! Why is everyone so quiet?!" a clearly stressed man yelled as he paced up and down the halls of his mansion.

He stopped walking when he spotted a pale-faced maid leave the room where his wife was giving birth.

"...Mistress Trinity has just given birth to a pair of healthy boys...They are twins, sir," the maid curtsied to her master as her hands shook from fear for what she would say next.

"Twins! I have gained a pair of healthy sons! This must be a cause of celebration! Now...How is my wife?! I must visit her at this instant!" the man suddenly yelled as he was about to run to where his wife was.

But, before he could, he was stopped by the maid.

"M-Master Trinity...There is more...news that this servant must inform you..." the maid said as her voice cracked and tears began to form in her eyes.

"There is no time for that! I must go to my wife now. Stand out the way," the man said forcefully as he pushed the maid out of his way and ran into the room.

The man was so blinded by all of his prior stress and worry, that he failed to notice the several maids collapsed on the ground that were all attempting to hold back their tears in the presence of their master.

All he could see was his wife, resting peacefully with two of his cute sons sleeping on her stomach.

"Move the boys to a different room. I wish for my wife to take a good nap without any interruptions," the man announced as he waited for his servants to follow his orders.

But none of the maids moved from their positions.

"Didn't you all hear me? Leave at once," the man repeated his orders.

Again, none of the maids moved.

"M-Master Trinity!" one maid cried out.

"What is it?" the man asked with confusion.

"M-Mistress...Trinity...is not taking a nap..." a different maid tried to explain in a shaky voice.

"What do you mean? She is clearly just sleepin-" the man murmured as he reached for his wife's hands.

But as soon as he touched her fingertips, he could feel no warmth.

Just...cold.

She was dead.

"...What...Happened to her...?" the man asked the room as his eyes began to widen.

"Th-There was nothing we could do. M-Mistress Trinity already had a weak body...so giving birth to twins must have caused too much strain to her body and so she jus-" one doctor tried to explain.

"...DON'T MESS WITH ME," the man yelled as he smashed his fist into a nearby window and broke it into pieces.

The room froze into fear.

"WHY IS SHE NOT BREATHING?!" he yelled irrationally in his shock.

He became a madman in a split second.

"The boys...she died giving birth to the boys..." the man suddenly murmured quietly as he turned to his sons on his wife's chest.

After all of the man's yelling, the boys had woken up with a startle and were crying again.

He grabbed both of the young infants by their necks, holding them up into the air with a hatred that words could not begin to describe.

The twins cried, for they had no ability to defend themselves, as they helplessly attempted to breathe.

"MASTER!! Please...Don't kill the children our mistress has worked so hard to give birth to!" one maid screamed as she bowed her head to the enraged man.

"They have been blessed by a fairy! We can't harm them!" another maid cried.

The man stayed silent.

He wanted to use his power to kill every last person in the room.

But...as he stared at the corpse of his once loving wife on the bed, he felt as if though he couldn't kill anyone in her presence.

"You are all lucky...I do not wish to spill blood with my wife near..." the man growled.

Everyone in the room had no time to sigh in relief before the man gave his next order.

"...Send the two boys away to the manor in East Gallor. I don't care if they've been blessed by fairies. Let them rot away on their own," the man said coldly as he kneeled down by his wife to hold her ice-cold hands.

In his mind, his sons had killed his loving wife.

For all he cared, they could die.

.

.

10 Months Later

.

.

"It is strange...How is it possible for such young infants to carry such dark eyes...?" one nursemaid whispered to a co-worker.

"I...know what you mean as well. These boys...it's as if their eyes follow me wherever I go..." another nursemaid wondered out loud as she took a small peak at the twins sleeping in their cribs.

"Perhaps the late mistress' death brought about a curse on her boys."

"I thought they were blessed by a fairy..."

"I wonder what a fairy's blessing does to a person..."

"So far, the twins just seem to be calmer than most of the other children I've known.

"It really is strange."

"...Have the twins been named yet?"

"No, their father has not decided on a name for them yet...and I doubt that he will ever take the time to consider it."

"It has been ten months since they have been born though...and they still have yet to get their own names..."

"We will just have to wait...for the time when Master Trinity is willing to accept his sons."

"That day will likely never come at this rate. Master Trinity could care less about these boys."

"Yes...A part of me wonders whether we even need to care for these boys anyway. If they die, we may get promoted."

"Shhh! Don't say these things out loud. Even if it is true, you could be seriously punished if anyone heard you."

"I'm sorry for letting it slip. It's just...I really do pity these twins."

"Yes, all we can do is pity them."

"...I'm starting to get tired. Let's go take a break while the boys are resting in their cribs."

"Alright," the nursemaid said as she closed the room's door and left the twins on their own.

.

.

3 Years Later

.

.

As time went on, the boys had grown old enough to walk, speak, read, and eat on their own.

Without parental love, they were left quite mature for their age.

Appearance-wise, the boys had malnutrition and sickly pale skin from being raised so poorly all alone in the mansion they were sent to.

However, they were still taught proper manners and were quite smart for their age.

"Master Trinity has finally come up with names for the two of you...From now on, your names are to be Lin and Min..." the maid said.

"...Our names...are...Lin and Min...?" the boys asked the maid with blank eyes.

"Yes...During your fourth-birthday debut in the next three months, you will be introduced as Lin and Min Trinity, the sons of Master Trinity," the maid informed them.

"...What...is a name? Why do we need a name?" the two boys asked at the same time.

"I don't understand why you two need names either. No one would be able to tell the difference between you two even if you had a name or not," the maid thought to herself.

The twins stared at the maid silently with a slightly darker look in their eyes from this point on.

But the maid never noticed their change in expression.

"A name is important for all people. It allows us to call one another without mixing up a person with another person," the maid did her best to answer the question politely.

"A name..." one of the boys began.

"...is important?" the other boy finished.

"Yes," the maid replied.

"This is the first time that father has ever given us something important," the twins both said at the same time.

The maid could only bite her tongue.

"When can I leave?! I don't want to deal with this..." the maid thought.

The boys heard the maid's inner thoughts and gave each other a side-glance.

"Our names are Lin and Min?" the boys asked as they turned to the maid.

"Yes, young masters," the maid replied.

"Then, which one of us will be Lin? Which one will be Min?"

"I...don't know. All I know is that Master Trinity has decided that your names will be Lin and Min," she replied.

"Then...we get to decide who gets what name?" the twins asked.

"...Yes."

"Okay then...you may go...as you wish..." the twins said as they dismissed the maid.

"Finally, I can go...these twins are so disgusting to look at and they ask too many questions...They're creepy too..." the maid groaned in her mind.

The maid gave one last bow before she left the boys on their own.

The boys took another small side-glance to one another.

"...I don't like that maid," one of the boys murmured.

"Me neither..." the other agreed slowly.

"She seems very rude..."

"Yeah..."

"She doesn't know we can hear what she is thinking."

"No one does."

"Are we the weird ones? Or is everyone else weird?"

"...I don't know."

"Then why can we read minds?"

"I don't know..."

"...Let's just decide on our names then."

"...Yeah."

The boys decided to play a game of rock-paper-scissors in order to decide their names.

"I guess I'm Lin," said one of them without too much care.

"Then, I am Min," the other boy replied.

After that, no one spoke.

There was nothing else they wanted to say.

Ever since birth, the boys had been able to read the minds of the people around them.

To them, telepathy came as naturally as breathing.

The only strange thing was that they couldn't read each other's minds.

But it wasn't really a big problem for them since the two of them were naturally able to understand one another without needing to use their powers.

And, at this exact moment, the two of them understood that they were both...bored.

Bored.

Receiving a name and playing rock-paper-scissors was only slightly interesting for a bit, but it quickly became a boring topic between the two.

All they could feel was boredom...

...and a little bit hungry.

They were only three-years-old after all.

"Let's go eat dinner, Min," Lin said as he used his brother's name for the first time.

"Okay then, Lin," Min agreed as he also used his brother's name.

Their names rolled off of their tongues awkwardly, but over time, they would get used to it.

.

.

During Dinnertime

.

.

A different maid brought out two small plates with even smaller portions that could hardly be fit for noble boys.

On their plate, they had a single slice of bread with butter slathered sloppily on top. For nutrition, they had a cup of apple juice on the side.

In any situation, the meal that the twins ate would be considered an absolute insult to any other noble person in the country.

If anyone outside the household heard that two wealthy noble boys were being fed commoner's bread every day without an ounce of meat to be seen, there would be an outrage.

However, the boys were used to being fed this way, so they considered the meal that they received to be a feast and didn't complain.

"It's been a while since we've had butter, Lin," Min remarked as he picked up the flimsy piece of bread and took a bite.

"Yes...we even have some apple juice, Min," Lin nodded in wonder as he stared at his food.

Normally, the boys were only allowed one or two meals a day that consisted of one slice of plain bread and water.

Today was special because their usually plain bread was slathered with butter and they had apple juice to drink.

"How is the food, young masters?" the maid asked them from the corner of the room.

"It's really good," Min replied.

"Why don't we do this more often?" Lin asked the maid.

"We can't afford the food," the maid lied.

"Actually, this place has plenty of food. It's just that the rest of the servants and I eat almost all of it every day. Master Trinity doesn't care either way," the maid thought to herself with a smirk.

Both Lin and Min gave each other a small glance and continued to eat.

Deep down, neither of them were angry even after hearing their maid's thoughts.

They were treated this way their whole life, so it was completely normal to them.

Lin took a look around his mansion.

The place itself was not well taken care of, but it was still pretty grand in comparison to regular homes.

"Food must be quite expensive if we can afford to live here with useless servants but not afford more bread," Lin murmured out loud as he ate his meal to spite the maid.

"Young master...please understand that your father is working hard for yo-" the maid was trying to say before the twins cut her off.

"I have never met father before. He does not care for us," Min interrupted the maid.

"...Humph. So they aren't completely dumb. At least they know that their lives don't matter," the maid rolled her eyes as she thought to herself.

"Young master, I do not understand what you are talking abou-" the maid tried to say out loud before she was interrupted again.

"We know what you and all the other maids think," Lin sighed.

"Is it true our lives don't matter?" Min asked.

"...How did they know what we were thinking?" the maid questioned in shock to herself.

"..." the maid didn't say anything else out loud.

Within less than a minute, both Lin and Min were done eating and went back to their rooms.

Behind them, their maid sighed.

"I wish these brats would stop being such a nuisance," she thought to herself as she groaned in irritation.

.

.

Later That Night

.

.

"...Why does father hate us so much?" Min asked as he sat down on his bed.

"..." Lin didn't reply.

"Father is supposed to be rich. I heard rich people rarely go hungry. Why are we hungry?" Min asked another question.

"I don't know."

"If food is so expensive, then how is our maid able to become so fat?"

"...They must steal quite a lot of it."

"We should ask her tomorrow. I wonder how she'll answer."

"Okay."

For a moment, the two of them sat comfortably in silence before Min brought up another topic.

"...The maids always whisper behind our backs," Min said as he turned his head to the window.

"They hate us, Min," Lin said unconsciously.

"I know, Lin..." Min agreed.

"..."

"We must've done something wrong."

"We've done nothing wrong."

"...I don't think...there's anyone who cares for us..." Min murmured as he closed his eyes for sleep as he tried to hide the single tear forming in his eyes.

The only thing that Lin could do to cope with their situation was to curl himself up into a little ball so that he could pretend and imagine...

...that they were loved...

...that they had a father who loved them...

...and that they weren't all alone in the world.

But deep down...

They both knew that there was no one in the world who really cared for them.

The only ones they could trust and rely on was each other.

.

Midnight

.

The soft snoring of Lin and Min made it clear that the two were fast asleep.

Smoky clouds rolled in the sky above as small sprinkles of rain dripped down onto the ground below.

"Foolish humans..." a voice could be heard as the wind blew outside their bedroom window.

Both the twins were too deep asleep in order to notice the shimmery appearance of a god forming in their room.

"Are human babies supposed to look so...ugly...?" the god murmured as he poked at Min's nose.

Min stirred a little but almost immediately fell back asleep.

"I am only here...because that idiot god, Shai, forced me to come here to meet you two..."

As the god continued to speak, the sound of the wind grew louder and louder.

"I am the [wonderful and wise] god of fortune and karma, Gadia. Your mother prayed to me before she died to protect you two..."

Gadia stared at the two boys with slight curiosity.

"Why should I protect two wrinkly babies like you? Humans these days expect too much from me..."

The wind was increasingly becoming louder.

With a small glance, Gadia stared at the peaceful resting faces of the two boys.

He poked Lin's cheek out of curiosity.

"...Hmm...I haven't answered a human's prayer for the past 1,000 years or more. So, I wonder why I feel like giving you two a gift..." Gadia murmured as he stared at the two peaceful boys.

At this point, the wind was blowing so hard that the two twins were just about ready to wake up from their sleep.

"Ah...I see...You two have the ability to read minds...A fairy must have given you its blessing..." Gadia said with a little surprise as he assessed the boys.

The windows began to rattle loudly from the wind and lightning could be heard from the outside.

"...Perhaps you two will provide me with great entertainment. Fine. I'll be generous this time..." Gadia chuckled as he realized that he now had a new source of fun.

Lin and Min rubbed their eyes as the sound of wind woke them up.

Since their room was completely dark, they were barely able to see the outline of a god in front of them.

"I shall give the two of you a companion...Keep him well...since he will become your closest ally..." Gadia murmured as he used his magic to form an object from thin air and place it by the bed of the twins.

Almost immediately when he was done, he disappeared, which left the two boys confused as to whether they were hallucinating or not.

But the two of them were so tired that they automatically fell asleep without giving anything a second thought.

.

.

A Few Hours Later

.

.

When the boys woke up, it was raining outside with a few rumbles of thunder.

The place that they lived in rarely had any sunshine and the weather was almost always trying to drench them with a neverending downpour of rain.

So, the boys were never able to play outside like all the other kids.

"It's another day, Min," Lin murmured as he stared at the ceiling.

"Yeah..." Min also sighed as he laid on his back.

"I think I had a weird dream last night."

"Me too."

"In my dream, there was a perverted stalker in our room while we were sleeping."

"I dreamt the same thing too. What a coincidence."

"...Do you think we'll have breakfast today?" Lin asked as he changed the conversation.

"No...I don't think the chef made breakfast today."

"That means we'll have to sneak in the kitchen for food."

"But if we're caught..."

"They'll beat us again."

The twins remained silent.

They were both extremely hungry, but they were more scared of getting beat by the head maid than starving to death.

As Min started to sit up from the bed, his foot grazed over something soft and plushy on the ground next to him.

"...There's something on the floor, Lin," Min pointed out.

"What is it, Min?" Lin asked as he peeked over Min's shoulder.

Sitting on the floor, was a small dark gray teddy bear with perfectly round black eyes and a cute button nose.

"It looks like a bear, Lin," Min said with a cock of his head.

"What is the purpose of it, Min?" Lin asked with confusion.

Growing up, the boys were never given any toys to play with, so basically, they had no idea what a teddy bear was.

However, they did read books from time-to-time in the library, so they had enough knowledge to understand that the bear-shaped object on the ground was likely a toy.

Min carefully kneeled by the teddy bear and picked him up off of the ground.

"It looks kind of cute, Lin," Min chuckled a little.

"I guess it is...Min..." Lin agreed as he stared at the bear.

"It's decided then. From now on, this bear will be a part of our family," Min smiled as he held the bear close to him.

"It's not a real person though," Lin sighed.

"That doesn't matter. We can pretend that he is."

"I guess...we can..."

The boys spent their time messing around in their rooms since they had nothing else to do.

They pretended they had a happy family with the teddy bear and made a few jokes along the way.

Unfortunately, the boys were not healthy in the slightest, so they had extremely low stamina and were completely exhausted after only half an hour of messing around.

So, they spent the rest of their time resting in their bed with the teddy bear by their side.

When it was time for dinner, they walked to the dining room and received an orange, another slice of plain bread, and a cup of water.

"Can we have butter today?" Min asked one of the maids.

"No...We don't have any more butter..." the maid replied without giving them another glance.

"I'm too lazy to walk all the way to the kitchen and back to give them some stupid butter. They should just shut up and eat their lunch," the maid thought to herself with a frown.

"Min and I have a question for you. We were thinking about it last night," Lin began to speak with the maid.

"Hmm? What is it?" the maid asked as she turned to Lin.

"If food is so expensive, how are you able to eat so much to become so fat?" Lin asked the maid as innocently as he could to insult her.

The maid widened her eyes and bit her tongue.

"T-The nerve of these boys!! I'm not fat...right? Right?! I have been stealing food from the kitchen more often lately...Maybe I should eat less..." the maid thought to herself in a rush.

"Yes, you should probably eat less...of our food," Min said as he read her thoughts.

"H-Huh? Did I say something out loud?" the maid asked as she stared at Min with shock.

"No, you didn't," both Lin and Min replied at the same time with a smile.

Both of the boys were staring at the maid to read her thoughts, which caused the maid to widen her eyes in confusion.

"Why are they staring at me so much?? Am I really that fat?? They're weird..." the maid shuddered to herself.

"The weird one...is you," Lin and Min said as they finished their food and left the room.

The maid stared at their backs as they left, completely confused as to what was going on.

.

.

A Few Hours Later

.

.

"I like this bear...I can't tell what it's thinking..." Min sighed.

"I know...It's nice..." Lin agreed.

"It doesn't think that we're creepy...or that we're disgusting."

"..."

"Where did it come from?"

"I don't know."

"It's cute though."

"It is."

"Hey...Do you think we'll ever be a happy family...?" Min asked as the tone of the conversation completely changed.

"..."

"No one likes us, Lin."

"I know, Min."

The boys became quiet again.

The ticking of a clock could be heard as the time slowly went by.

For a while, they were completely silent as they both stared blankly off into space.

The neverending silence was enough for a certain someone to finally become fed up with it.

"Oh...my...f--king...god..." someone groaned from inside the room.

Both Lin and Min turned their heads in surprise when they heard the voice of someone they didn't see.

They had no idea who was talking.

"Hey! Where are you two d--kheads looking?! I'm right here!" yelled the mysterious person in the room.

The twins looked everywhere around the room but they were still unable to locate the source of the noise.

Finally, the mysterious person reached the peak of his impatience and slapped Lin across the face.

"Ow...? Did a feather hit me...or...?" Lin said slowly as he looked down to see the teddy bear by his lap.

"Heh. I knew my f--king fire punch of pure power would get you to notice me! Hahahahaha...Bow down, you f--king peasants! FEAR ME!" yelled the teddy bear as it tossed its arms all around the place.

"Lin...I think we've finally lost it..." Min murmured as he pinched himself.

"Oh, hell nah! You ain't losing your f--king balls yet until I say so!" the teddy bear chuckled as he sat down with his arms and legs crossed.

The boys stared at the teddy bear while attempting to read its thoughts, but they weren't able to hear a word.

After all, the bear didn't have a proper brain to read.

"You...can talk?" Min asked with his eyes wide in wonder as he gave up on telepathy.

"No sh-t, Sherlock," the bear rolled his button eyes.

"Who is...Sherlock?" Lin asked with his eyes also wide open.

The boys were only three-years-old no matter how strangely mature they acted.

So, a part of them believed they were having another weird dream.

But the other part of them was hoping and praying that all of this was real.

"I don't know who f--king 'Sherlock' is either. I just know he f--king exists and he's f--king smart with balls of steel," the bear said as he tried to think about what he said.

"Then...Who are you and why are you here?" Min asked the bear.

"I'm glad you d--kheads finally asked! I don't know who I am or why the f--k I'm here either!" the bear answered proudly.

"Huh?" both Lin and Min asked.

"All I know is that you two d--kheads are gloomy wimps who need a pretty good leader, like me, to beat all those b-tches up and get the h-ll out of here," the bear sighed.

The twins gave each other another look as they both attempted to try to understand what was going on.

"...What does 'f-ck' and 'sh-t' and 'd--khead' and 'b-tch' mean?" the twins asked curiously as they completely changed the conversation.

The teddy bear froze.

"H-How old are you d--kheads again?" the bear asked.

"We're three-years-old."

"...F--k."

"What does 'f--k' mean?"

"Nooooo!!!! You're not supposed to repeat what comes out of my f--king mouth! D-mn...Am I a bad influence?" the teddy bear wondered out loud.

"What does 'd-mn' mean?"

"It's none of your f--king business. Anyway, I've been watching you d--kheads for some time now. Basically, I'm ready to kick you two in the -ss."

"What does '-ss' mean?"

"Your -ss is where your sh-t falls out."

"We don't understan-"

"That's not the f--king point! ANYWAY, after watching you two cry like the f--king babies you are, I've decided that I'm going to toughen you two up!" the bear announced.

"Toughen...us...up?" the twins asked at the same time.

Sin nodded his head with a bit of a smirk.

The twins looked to each other.

Both of them understood that they were weak and frail.

But...they weren't willing to trust anyone...especially someone who had a mind that they couldn't read.

"What is your name?" Lin asked as he turned to the bear again.

"A name? Why would I need a f--king name? Call me 'master' and everything will end up fine," Sin laughed.

"Hmm...How about we name you...Bear?" Min asked the teddy bear as he ignored its previous statement.

"F--k no! I want a f--king cool name! Give me something that'll make people sh-t themselves when they hear it!" the teddy bear complained.

"Our names are...Lin...and Min..." the twins said as they pointed to themselves.

"I didn't f--king ask for your names, but okay."

"We want to make your name rhyme too."

"What makes you d--kheads think that I would want my name to f--king rhyme with yours?!?!"

"How about...Sin?"

"...I like it."

"But we thought you didn't want your name to rhym-"

"Shut the f--k up. I like the name. This conversation is over."

"Okay..."

"Buckle up, f--king b-stards. I'm going to show you two how to really make the best out of our f--king lives," Sin said with a large grin.

At that exact same moment, the door of the twin's room opened and a maid walked inside.

"I'll kill the boys by tomorrow," thought the smiling maid.
