Cordelia's POV

...earth.

Earth.

...Earth?

Earth?

Earth?!

...

Excusez-moi?!

"Uh...Hahaha...I think I heard you two wrong..." I began to laugh at the preposterousness of their statement.

Did they know that I came from Earth?

...Nahhh.

There was absolutely no way that they knew-

"Nope. We definitely know you came from Earth," the twins said as they cocked their heads at me.

"...HOW COULD YOU TELL WHAT I WAS THINKING?!?!?!" I screeched as I held my arms in a kung-fu pose against them.

"It's obvious to tell what you're thinking..." Min began slowly.

"...because we can read your mind," Lin finished nonchalantly.

Oh.

So they could read minds.

Yeah.

Of course.

Yep.

That is totally normal.

Mmhmm.

There's nothing wrong with that.

There's nothing weird about that at all...

"...hehehe..." I giggled unconsciously.

"Oh no...she's gone insane. What should we do, Lin?" Min asked sadly as he turned to his brother.

"...How sad. Let's carry her to the nearest mental asylum, Min," Lin sighed.

"Hehehehehe...Hahahahaha...Ohohohoho...HAHAHAHAHAHA!" I laughed out loud as they approached me slowly with their arms out to capture me.

To other people, I probably looked like a psychopath.

"Our savior is a little scary, Lin," Min said as he backed off.

"Are all people on Earth like this, Min?" Lin asked as he also moved away from me.

"Probably..." Min sighed.

These twins knew my secret...

They could even read my mind...

How much could they see?!?!

"Maybe it would be better...if I could just...kill you two and pretend like this never happened..." I muttered under my breath.

I could feel myself getting a headache.

Why does a part of me feel like today has been a really...really...really...really...long day?!?!

WHY DO I NEVER GET TIME TO RELAX?!

AGHHHHHAJDHJKAHKWB!!!!!!

"You shouldn't kill us," Min said as he continued to watch me stress-out in the corner of the room.

"Yeah, we want to live a long life," Lin nodded as he agreed with his brother.

"NO! THIS CAN NOT BE HAPPENING! THIS. IS. IMPOSSIBLE. THIS NEVER HAPPENED IN THE OTOME GAME, SO, THEREFORE, IT CAN NOT HAPPEN HERE. NEVER! NO! THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!"

.

.

15 Minutes of Screaming Later

.

.

"ARE YOU GUYS CRAZY?!?! ISN'T READING MINDS LIKE INVADING PRIVACY OR SOMETHING?!?! THIS IS NOT GOOD! NO! NO! NO! NEVER! WHY DO I HAVE TO GO THROUGH ALL OF THIS?!?!?! I HATE THIS SO MUC-" I screamed.

"I wonder how much longer we're going to watch her scream for," Min said as he continued to watch me.

"Hmm...I don't know," Lin replied.

"Should we start screaming along with her?" Min asked.

"Why would we do that?" Lin asked in reply.

"...Because it sounds fun," Min replied simply.

"Hmm...Okay. That sounds like a good idea," Lin nodded.

"AJDHGJEHJHASJKFHJ! IS LIFE SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THIS?!?! WHY?! WHY?! WHYYYYYY-" I continued to screech as the boys joined along with me before we were all cut off.

"...Can you guys please shut the f--k up?" Sin sarcastically groaned as he held his plushy arms against his woolly ears.

"...WHY THE HECK SHOULD I HAVE TO SHUT UP?!?! HUH?!?! DO YOU WANT TO DIE?!?! BECAUSE I CAN AND WILL KILL YOU!!!" I screeched as I breathed fire from my mouth like a dragon.

"I thought she was a cow..." Min said as he frowned a little.

"But now she looks like one of those lizard-monster things..." Lin continued.

"Aren't those lizard-monster things called dragons?" Min asked.

"I can't remember."

"Hmm...Let's just call her a lizard instead of a cow from now on then."

"Okay."

"Her nickname can be Cordelizard."

"I preferred Cowdelia..."

"Hmm...This is hard..." Min sighed.

"Sin...What do you think we should call her?" Lin asked Sin who was sitting with his legs crossed.

Sin silently thought to himself for a long moment.

"Well, d--kheads. The answer is f--king simple. If you can't choose between the two sh-tty nicknames...combine them into one awesome name: Cowdelizard," Sin answered simply.

"Isn't that too long for a nickname though?" the twins asked.

"F--k no. I came up with it...so it must be good."

"Oh...okay. That's true. We'll call her that then," the twins stupidly agreed.

...

...What is the meaning of life?

I sat through their entire conversation while thinking about the purpose of life.

"AHSJKHFJDHGIWU!!! CAN YOU GUYS JUST STOP. STOP. JUST. STOP," I commanded loudly to get their attention.

"...Stop what?" Lin, Min, and Sin all said at once.

Were these guys dense or something?!?!?!

"She thinks we're dense, Lin," Min murmured as he read my thoughts.

"That...kind of hurts coming from her of all people, Min..." Lin sighed.

"...You know what? Nevermind. I don't care anymore," I groaned as a headache formed in the back of my head.

A very big part of me just wanted to straight-up walk out of the room.

But...

I needed to know the extent of how much they knew about me.

"How. Much. Do. You. Know?" I tried to ask kindly as I put a very forced smile on my face.

"We know a lot of stuff...like math...English..." the boys rambled as they dodged the question.

Using my ice magic, I shot an ice shard in the direction of Sin, narrowly missing his head.

"Guess what?" I asked the boys with a cheery smile.

"What," the boys replied as they gulped.

"...I won't miss next time," I whispered with a dark smile.

The twins looked to each other with a small sigh of defeat before deciding to answer me properly.

Unconsciously, a small part of me braced myself for the worst possible response.

"...Well, we know about Earth...and your past life...and..." the boys said slowly as they avoided eye-contact with me.

"...And?" I beckoned them to continue.

"...we know about the otome game..." the boys sighed.

Ah...

Shoot.

Out of everything they could've seen in my messed up mind...

They saw...

"Love, Love, in the Super Cool Magic Academy of Incredibly Hot Guys...the otome game..." I muttered out loud with a groan.

"Yep," the boys replied with a nod.

"So basically...you know the future of this world...the heroine...and all of my...endings...right?" I asked to be sure.

"Yep," the boys replied again with another nod.

"...hehehehe...hahahaha...ohohoho....HAHAHAHAHA!!!" I began to laugh again without thinking about it too much.

Oh...

I hate this.

Just as I was about to question the boys some more, I could hear the school bell ring.

"F--K, YOU D--KHEADS! WE GOTTA GO! IGNORE THAT CRAZY B-TCH AND LET'S GET OUTTA HERE!" Sin yelled as he hopped into Min's arms.

I gave a small look to the boys to make sure they understood that we were definitely going to have another talk later.

And if they refused to talk...

...I'll rip them all to shreds.

.

.

A Few Seconds Later

.

.

After running at Mach speed for a short bit, I had found the location of my third classroom, martial arts.

For some strange reason, the door to the classroom was huge.

It was almost double the size of every other classroom door in the hallway.

How strange...

The door itself was labeled with the words: "Martial Arts I - Mr. Maso."

I simply sighed and opened the door and, as expected, it seemed like our teacher wasn't here yet.

Slowly, I took a look around the room to take in my surroundings.

Unlike other classrooms, this classroom had no tables nor seats.

In fact, there was nothing in the room beside my classmates, windows, and the door I just walked through.

Immediately after scanning my surroundings, I could see Ace standing alone in the corner of the room.

Everyone naturally separated from him.

It's moments like these that make me realize how handsome Ace is.

Every single piece of Ace's body was so perfect that it was almost as if a god of beauty carefully crafted each inch of his body to create living perfection.

His dark silver hair with highlights of various deep mystic blues and his green emerald eyes that shimmered like gems were almost too god-like for this world.

As a dragon, no one paid attention to Ace's bright green eyes.

The royal line of dragons disappeared long ago during ancient times...

It shouldn't have been possible for Ace to have such startlingly green eyes, but he did.

So most people assumed that it was some sort of one-in-a-billion mutation.

The science in this world wasn't too developed.

So, Ace's eyes became and stayed as a mystery.

But now...Ace was permanently in his human form.

His green eyes stuck out extremely well amongst the rest of us humans.

Thus, all of our classmates assumed he was royalty from a foreign country or that he was a lost prince.

As I was in thought, Ace caught me staring at him and gave me a small friendly smile as he waved to me hello from across the room.

I waved back.

Sometimes, I wonder why Ace is considered my familiar.

I certainly don't deserve someone like him.

Ace is plenty of times stronger than me and, quite frankly, he's way out of my league ability-wise.

The contract I made with Ace...deemed me and him as "equals."

But I'm not that dumb.

The one who always got the short-end of the stick for this contract was Ace.

Our contract was never fair from the start.

And, now that Ace has completely lost his memories...I wonder how he feels knowing that he's the familiar of a random weak human girl.

I bet a small part of him hates being my familiar.

With a sigh, I walked over to where Ace was and faked a smile.

"It looks like I'm late to class again...Welp. Luckily, our teachers are always late~" I chuckled as I looked up to Ace.

He was frowning for some reason.

"What's wrong, Ace?" I asked with a little bit of worry as I reached out to his forehead to check for fever just in case.

I literally had to stand on my tippy toes to properly reach him.

Why...did...all of the boys in this world have to be so tall??

Ace didn't stop my hand as I placed it right on top of his forehead.

His head wasn't too hot, but it was certainly much warmer than the average temperature of a person.

"Did you possibly catch a cold?" I asked as I let go of his forehead and brought my hand back to my pockets.

"No...I'm not sick," Ace sighed.

His frown was still lingering on his face for some reason.

"Is...there a reason why you're upset?" I asked him.

"...Oh. Do I look upset?" Ace asked in return to my question.

"Yeah...You do. Didn't you realize?" I sighed.

"...I'm sorry. I didn't notice that I was frowning..." Ace answered.

Was...Ace...stupid?

"No, that's fine. But is there a reason why you were upset before?" I asked as I kept the conversation going.

"...Yeah."

"What was it?"

"Well...you were faking your smile again..." Ace said without thinking too much.

I didn't know how to respond to his statement.

How the heck are you supposed to reply in a situation like this?!?!

"I'm sorry...I probably made everything awkward again," Ace sighed.

"Nah. It's fine...I'm sorry...I just had a lot of stuff weighing on my mind lately," I responded with my own sigh.

Ace wasn't being unreasonable at all.

He had a good point too.

It's just that...life has been wayyyyy too stressful for me lately.

I mean...

1) I'm trying to get revenge on the Marquis and Marquess.

2) I have to deal with a weird time-stopping dude now.

3) Ace lost his memories.

4) I've just started school and found out I'm roommates with the heroine.

5) The twins know I've reincarnated.

I have a splitting headache and all I want to do right now is sleep.

"If you don't mind me asking, what were you doing with the twins earlier?" Ace asked with obvious curiosity in his voice.

I felt something snap in the back of my mind.

"...hehehe...hahaha...ohohoho..." I chuckled quietly under my breath.

"C-Cordelia...? Are you okay?" Ace asked with a small startle as he watched me.

"Yeah...I'm fine...but those twins won't be for long..." I smiled evilly.

"What...did they do...?" Ace asked with a little bit of fear.

"Oh~ Nothing~ I'm just going to have a nice...long...talk with those fools soon~ Don't worry about it, okay?" I giggled innocently.

All Ace could do was to give a small sigh.

"Well...if I can't stop you...Then all I can say is...Good luck," Ace smiled as he gave me a small pat on the head.

Agh...

How is Ace able to say and do things like this without becoming embarrassed??

I could feel myself blush a little.

Just as I was about to say something, I could feel the ground below my feet quake.

The entire room was shaking.

Immediately, Ace removed his hand from my head.

...For some reason...I felt a little...

...disappointed?

I wonder why.

"Someone's coming," Ace said out loud as he looked to our classroom door.

"Who is it?" I asked as I held myself in a more defensive position.

"I don't know...But he's huge..." Ace replied.

Then, our classroom door opened with a loud slam.

It was then that I finally figured out the reason behind our humongous classroom door.

...It was because...our teacher was huge too.

I swear, based off of my eyesight, this dude was way over 10 feet tall. (A/N: For all of my international people, 10 feet = 305 centimeters~)

Where did all of his muscles come from?!

Wait...

Why was he shirtless?!?!!?!

All of the female students of the class naturally covered their eyes the moment our teacher walked in.

After all, we were all raised as noble ladies.

So...for practically every single woman in the room, this was their first time seeing a half-naked man.

Although, some of the girls in our class didn't care about their noble lineage and gaped at our teacher in awe.

He was low-key really hot after all.

"Hey, everyone. It's nice to meet you brats. I'm Mr. Maso...and...judging by what I see so far, this classroom is full of stupid weaklings," Mr. Maso said loudly with a small irritated sigh.

I bet every single kid in the class wanted to internally cry.

Mr. Maso was so hot and cool looking...

...so why did his personality have to be trash?!

"Cordelia...Mr. Maso seems to be a monster..." Ace murmured out loud so I could hear.

"I know...just by looking at that body of his...Anyone would be able to tell that he isn't any normal person..." I agreed.

Mr. Maso was certainly buff.

Without a doubt, he was very strong.

"Alright, pipsqueaks, I can guarantee that most of you here have held a sword at least once in your life, right?" Mr. Masi asked the class.

All of us nodded.

A majority of nobles had at least a teacher who taught them how to properly hold a sword.

In my situation, I trained with the rest of the main male leads and Ace under Sir Maddy, who was the royal tutor.

We learned how to slaughter wild beasts and monsters under his supervision, so I could almost guarantee that Ace and I were at least 20x more experienced than the rest of our class.

Although...Ace never needed to learn how to wield a sword because well...he was a dragon...so there was no point.

"Alright then...Let's go outside to get some training done. Hurry up," Mr. Maso boomed as he slammed open our classroom door.

Obviously, Ace and I started to follow Mr. Maso, who was leading our entire class to a giant training field.

It was extremely sunny and hot today, so the rest of the noble kids in our class were already sweating by the time they finished walking to our training area.

Luckily, I had already adapted to training under both hot and cold days, so the sunny weather hardly affected me.

"How is it possible for you all to already be tired? All we did was walk. This is why I hate teaching new kids..." Mr. Maso sighed as he stood in front of our class with his arms folded across his chest.

"It's...too...sunny..." some kids cried out.

"The sun is good! Some of you are way too pale anyways," Mr. Maso said without any mercy.

Mr. Maso...seemed to be a very...cold person.

It kind of sucked.

He would've been super popular if he was nice...

I sighed.

Behind our teacher, there was a large field of grass and a stand holding a few dozen wooden swords.

"I'm going to give all of you a wooden sword and, after I say so, all of you are going to attack me using only your swords. Those who can land a solid hit on me will pass. Those who don't will get an automatic fail for today," Mr. Maso said as he began to stretch.

The whole class gave a silent cheer.

After all, there were about thirty or so of us in this class.

"This will be easy..." one kid whispered to another.

I gave a small look to Ace.

Our entire class was stupid.

They were way too cocky for their own good.

Mr. Maso tossed a sword over to me and the rest of the other kids.

I caught the sword with ease.

Dang.

I never realized how light normal wooden swords were.

Compared to other swords I had to deal with, this sword was like a feather in comparison.

"How does it feel to hold a sword, Ace?" I asked as I turned to him.

"It feels strange..." Ace replied as he gripped onto the handle.

Ace's form was shockingly perfect for some reason.

If I didn't know any better, I would've believed that Ace had practiced swordsmanship his entire life.

Maybe he was a prodigy.

"Alright then! I just finished handing out all of your swords. But, before we start...I forgot to take attendance for today," Mr. Maso said as he took out a paper and pen.

All of us stood, waiting for him to call our name.

"Cordelia de Boren Cyllia?" Mr. Maso called out.

"Here," I replied out loud with my hand raised so he would mark me down as present.

I could hear everyone muttering about my identity as soon as my name was called.

But I was used to it at this point.

The stares.

The whispering.

The nosebleeds.

I didn't really understand it too much, but at this point, I had been exposed to this stuff so much that I didn't really care or pay attention to it anymore.

"Ace le Lumiorum de Noi?" Mr. Maso said with surprisingly good pronunciation.

"...Here," Ace replied with his hand raised.

Obviously, the name that Mr. Maso called out was a fake name created by the king to create the illusion that Ace came from a noble background.

In reality, Ace had no last name.

Ace was simply Ace.

After a while, Mr. Maso finished calling out names and we were ready to start.

"It looks like only one person is absent. Come on, folks! It's the first day of school! I shouldn't see any absences until later on..." Mr. Maso sighed in disappointment.

I wonder who had the gall to skip the first day of school.

"Anyway, now that I've finished taking attendance, it's time for you all to take your swords and try to land a hit on me! Remember, this is your first assignment of the year, so take it seriously," Mr. Maso said as he cracked his neck.

All of us readied our swords in front of us.

Before doing anything though, I channeled some of my energy into my arms and legs.

"Alright, everyone! Attack!" Mr. Maso boomed out loud.

Right away, every other student in our class charged at Mr. Maso.

But...

It was useless.

Mr. Maso...was a beast.

With one hand, he picked up one of our classmates by the arm and threw the poor kid a few meters away.

The kid landed on the ground with a crack.

It was obvious to everyone that a few of his ribs were broken.

Some of the girls in our class screamed in fear.

"H-HEY! You can't hurt him like that!" one noble boy yelled in shock.

"Huh? Why?" Mr. Maso asked with a grin.

A strong and heavy aura was being leaked around our teacher.

Although Mr. Maso's aura paled in comparison with Principal PomPom's, it was still extremely noticeable to everyone around him.

It was scary.

"B-Because...h-he can call his p-parents and..." the kid squeaked before his voice trailed off.

"Pfft! You got to be kidding me! Your parents won't be able to do a single thing. We'll heal you up with magic in the end, so there shouldn't be a problem anyway," Mr. Maso laughed.

Dang.

My classmates...were weak.

Against Mr. Maso, they had no hope of winning.

Every single hit that a student attempted to land was immediately evaded by Mr. Maso.

Despite his bulky appearance, Mr. Maso was actually quite fast.

And every kid who tried to sneak up on him was dealt with in an orderly fashion.

Within a few minutes, over half of our class was on the ground in pain from Mr. Maso's hits.

Almost everyone was out of breath.

Of course, both Ace and I hadn't moved at all yet, so we were still in perfect condition.

"Is this the level of new students nowadays??? You guys haven't even made me break a sweat yet! I was expecting at least one kid to be strong..." Mr. Maso claimed with a huge sigh.

Another kid was flipped onto his back harshly by Mr. Maso.

For some reason, I made direct eye-contact with our teacher.

"Hmm? Aren't you two going to attack me like all the others?" Mr. Maso asked me and Ace.

"There'd be no point in that. There are too many students around you to properly swing a sword and, besides, I prefer observing my target before attacking anyway," I responded simply with a smile.

"I agree with Cordelia...Attacking right away without any thought beforehand...is a very foolish idea," Ace agreed with a sigh as held his sword in an offensive position.

"Oh? It looks like I have a pair of smart kids in my class this year..." Mr. Maso laughed.

"Pfft! Ace and I aren't only smart you know..." I laughed as I also held my sword toward our teacher.

"Hmm...If that's the case...then..." Mr. Maso muttered with a grin.

Immediately, our teacher dealt with the rest of our classmates in less than a few seconds.

It happened so fast that I could barely see what was going on.

But after he was done, our entire class was laying on their backs groaning in pain.

"Do you still think you can land a hit on me?" Mr. Maso asked with a dark smile.

"Yes, I do," I smiled in return.

"Do you want any assistance, Cordelia?" Ace asked as he turned to me.

"Nah...I think I'll be alright on my own, Ace. But thanks for the offer," I said gratefully.

I stepped up to our teacher with a grin on my face.

Ah...

I've been stressed lately with a lot of different things.

Maybe beating up my jerky teacher would help me loosen up a little!

.

.

A Few Moments Later

.

.

Heh.

Hehehe...

I giggled to myself a little.

While he wasn't looking, I managed to jump behind him.

Mr. Maso turned around with crazed eyes like a beast's and attempted to slam me down from the air.

Left?

Right?

Up?

Down?

It was difficult predicting Mr. Maso's next move.

So, before he could do anything, I flipped my body towards him and wrapped my legs around his neck.

In his confusion, he tried to rip me off of him, but before he could, I had already jumped off.

Using this perfect opportunity, I took my sword and gave Mr. Maso a huge whack to the back.

With one hit, Mr. Maso flew a few feet away from me before he landed on the ground on all fours.

Oops.

I may or may not have forgotten to hold back my strength a little...

I turned my head over to Ace's direction and gave an awkward smile.

Ace gave a small thumbs-up as he sighed.

Whoopsie~

In my defense, I was already on the same level as a swordmaster.

There was no way I was going to lose to some random teacher.

"I win, Mr. Maso!" I yelled as I looked back over to where our teacher was.

Mr. Maso was still on the ground for some reason.

"...That hurt..." Mr. Maso said out loud in a weird voice.

For some reason, our teacher's face was red and he was panting heavily like a dog.

"A...female student...just hit me..." Mr. Maso mumbled as his nose began to bleed.

"U-Uh...Mr. Maso...?" I asked slowly.

"That felt kind of good..."

"Huh?"

Suddenly, Mr. Maso reached out to grab my leg.

"Can you hit me again...Please...?" he asked.

"WHA-" I yelled as I kicked him away from me by reflex.

But instead of wincing in pain from hitting the ground again, he was smiling.

"Ah~ Hit me again, please~" he begged as he licked my shoes.

And that's when our entire class and I realized...

...Mr. Maso was a...

...masochist.

Shoot me now.

-----------------------------------------------
