I believe that it is safe for me to say that my life is now utterly ruined by that man.
Therefore, no one would blame me if I kill him, right?
Murder is okay in these situations, right?
He is evil, so it's okay, right?
Right?!
"Cordelia...are you alright?" Ace asked me as we were walking to class.
...Did I look alright to him?!
"Ugh...I don't even want to talk about it..." I muttered as I smacked Florence's hand out of my hand.
Ever since that red-haired dude told the most ridiculous lie known to mankind...the boys were now following me around everywhere in order to make sure I didn't feel lonely.
"Lia~ Why are you so mean~? Are you just...shy?" Florence purred as he looped his arms around my waist from behind me.
"Touch me again...and I'll cut off your hands," I growled as I held my hands up threateningly.
"Yes, yes. I'd like to see you try," Florence said without flinching as he kissed me on my cheek from behind.
"DO YOU WANNA DIE TOO?!" I screeched as I round-house kicked him in the chest.
"Every time I'm near you, my heart beats so fast that I feel like I'm dying. This is nothing, Lia," Florence chuckled as he withstood my kick.
In response to his words, I just stood there with my mouth agape at his flirting.
Without a doubt, my face was likely flushed red.
"Lia~ Your face is red...could you perhaps be...embarrassed?" Florence asked with a devil's grin forming on his lips.
I shuddered.
"...I'll meet you all in class," I said loudly as I sprinted away at full speed.
Leaving Florence, the twins, Ace, and Lilly all behind together, I made it to our classroom and slammed open the door loudly, causing everyone's heads to turn toward me.
At that exact moment...it started raining...blood.
Nearly half of my classmates had consecutive bloody noses that shot out of their noses like water fountains.
And about a fourth of my class passed out.
What was going on???
Was the bloody-nose disease spreading even further?
What if someone dies of blood loss???
Hmm...
Wait...
These bloody noses have been happening quite often around me...
What if...I was the reason...?
Was it possible that...after blessing their eyes with the godly male leads...the moment they laid eyes on a below-average human being like me...their brains malfunctioned and they died?!
Oh no...
That would be terrible.
Right now, I probably looked like a mess.
I was sweaty after running for my life, my hair was all ruffled, my legs were weak, I could barely stand properly, my eyes were out of focus, my breath was uneven, and my face was flushed red.
It's no wonder that some people passed out from horror.
"...We were too late..." Florence said as I heard him step up behind me.
"Oh my...it looks as if though...these poor boys were brutally slaughtered..." Lilly gasped as she checked a noble boy's vitals.
"Cordelia...This may sound a bit rude for me to say...but if you wish to maintain world peace...never wander the school halls alone..." Ace said to me as he gave me a small pat on the head.
Huh?
But...why?
"Woah...The cow knocked out a whole classroom by herself," Min said in wonder.
"We must learn her skills one day...they might be useful," Lin nodded.
"...for world domination..." the twins muttered under their breath at the same time.
I had no idea what the twins were talking about...and I didn't want to find out.
Lily used a bit of her light magic to...revive...the unconscious students and we went off to do our own thing.
After finding seats, the school bell rang as it was supposed to and our class continued to wait for our tardy teacher.
"H-Honey...h-have a good day...teaching...and um...I just want to s-say...I uh...love you...like...a lot," Mrs. Loli stuttered as our classroom door opened.
Hmm?
Mrs. Loli was my standard education teacher for my next class.
So...what was she doing in this class?
"Of course, my sugary little cupcake. I'll see you soon," Mr. Bloodsworth chuckled words that nearly made me want to puke on the ground as he gave Mrs. Loli a hug.
It took a long time before everything registered in my head.
...Was Mrs. Loli married to Mr. Bloodsworth, that psychotic man?!
EXCUSE ME?!
Mrs. Loli was a loli!!!
She looks three-years-old!!!
Mr. Bloodsworth has probably killed a few hundred people by accident and drank their blood for his amusement!!!
BUT THAT'S NOT EVEN THE WORST PART!
Mr. Bloodsworth was clearly in his late 60's.
He was definitely handsome, but he could not hide his age.
The age gap between Mrs. Loli and Mr. Bloodsworth was too big to be legal.
Where was the FBI in this world when you needed them?!?!?!?!
Why does the FBI never show up in stories like this?!?!?!
FBI?!?!?! Hello?!?!?! There's a pedophile?!?!?!
I sighed.
There was no use panicking.
After all...Mrs. Loli seemed to love Mr. Bloodsworth...and there was no sign of this being an abusive relationship...right...?
I stared at Mr. Bloodsworth's clothes.
They were drenched in an unknown red substance.
Yep.
Nope.
I have to stop this.
"MRS. LOLI! DID THIS MAN IN ANY WAY THREATEN YOU INTO A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM?? TRUST ME, I'LL TRY TO SAVE YOU!!" I screamed at her.
"H-Huh? O-Oh...it's you, Lady Cordelia," Mrs. Loli said when she saw me.
I'm surprised she actually remembered my name.
I must be the best student ever~
"STOP SCREAMING AT MY WIFE OR ELSE I'LL STAB YOU!" Mr. Bloodsworth screeched back at me.
"Mr. Bloodsworth...I know that this world allows insane age-gaps between couples...but don't you think Mrs. Loli is a little too young to be your wife??" I asked with serious concern in my voice.
"Are you telling me that I can't love my wife...? My wife? Haha-" Mr. Bloodsworth began to laugh loudly before he was smacked in the arm by Mrs. Loli.
"Dear! You are w-worrying your student by a-acting like that!" Mrs. Loli stuttered as she whacked Mr. Bloodsworth again.
What?!
I thought Mrs. Loli was the weakling-type who stuttered awkwardly because she was shy.
Why was she messing with that psychopath?!?!
She has no way of protecting herself!
"Ah! I forgot to keep myself in check for a moment...I'm sorry..." Mr. Bloodsworth calmed down in the presence of Mrs. Loli.
Hmm.
Maybe Mrs. Loli and Mr. Bloodsworth were a better match than I had thought...
...But the age gap was just a little...hard...to get over.
"Lady Cordelia...I b-believe you are under the w-wrong assumption..." Mrs. Loli giggled a little.
"Huh...?" I asked.
"I'm actually much o-older than my husband..." Mrs. Loli replied.
WHAT?!
"...Uh...I-If you don't m-mind me asking, Mrs. Loli...How old are you...?" I asked slowly with my own stutter.
"Hmm...I must be around...396-years-old...? I-It's been so l-long that I can't remember..." Mrs. Loli replied.
"...And...How old are you, Mr. Bloodsworth...?" I asked slowly after Mrs. Loli's answer.
He was definitely in his late 60's, right?
Right?!
"I'm 28 years old," Mr. Bloodsworth replied, clearly not amused by my questioning.
...
Huh?
No, wait.
That didn't make any sense.
That didn't make any sense at all.
Mr. Bloodsworth isn't 60-years-old?!
Mrs. Loli isn't three-years-old?!
Does that mean...that Mrs. Loli...is actually a pedophilic loli...?
Is that even a thing...?!
Excuse me?!
"Oh! I need to h-head to class, honey...Well...I'll see you later today," Mrs. Loli smiled to Mr. Bloodsworth, gave a nod of acknowledgment to me, and then quickly ran off to her own classroom.
I slouched down in my chair with a sigh of disbelief.
"Cordelia, why did you interrupt me and my wife?" Mr. Bloodsworth asked very slowly in a scary voice.
"Uh..." I muttered.
"IT'S YOUR FAULT THAT SHE YELLED AT ME EARLIER!!!! HOW DARE YOU!!!!" Mr. Bloodsworth screeched all of a sudden.
"WELL, I JUST THOUGHT YOU WERE A PEDOPHILE!!!" I screeched back as loudly as I could.
"WHAT? ME? A PEDOPHILE? I HAVE NO INTEREST IN LITTLE KIDS LIKE YOU!!! I PREFER OLDER WOMEN!!!!" he screamed back.
"IT'S REALLY HARD TO TELL WHEN YOU'RE MARRIED TO MRS. LOLI OF ALL PEOPLE!!!" I screamed.

A Few Hours Later
.
.
The rest of the day went by normally after the first period.
The only thing that was different from the day before was that it was raining pretty heavily.
Now, I had to walk around with an umbrella whenever I switched from one class to another.
The sad thing was that all my classes were pretty far apart, so walking in the cold rain for fifteen or so minutes wasn't very enjoyable after a while.
Yesterday, it was incredibly hot outside so I was surprised to see the weather cool down so much overnight.
The weather really is something that is impossible to predict.
Actually, life is pretty unpredictable too—maybe even more than the weather.
I sighed to myself.
When it was time for me to go to martial arts class, Ace held out his hand for me to become my escort of sorts.
We walked together silently.
Ace knew not to question me for what happened the night I found out that Lilly was a spy.
I was thankful for that.
I wouldn't know what I would do if he suddenly bombarded me with random questions.
Besides...it was best to keep these things to myself.
If I told anyone anything, what would happen?
I'm certain that it wouldn't be anything good.
"It's quite cold today, don't you think?" I asked out loud as I felt rainwater soak into my shoes and socks.
"Are you feeling cold, Cordelia?" Ace asked me as he glanced at me from under his own umbrella.
"Hah. I'm an ice mage. There's no way rain would be enough to make me feel cold," I replied sarcastically.
"Are you sure?" Ace asked.
"Yeah. Don't worry about it," I replied with a small laugh.
Ace didn't say anything as I saw him take off the blazer of his school uniform.
"Wear this, Cordelia. It doesn't matter if you're more resistant to the cold. It wouldn't be good if you become sick tomorrow," Ace said as he draped his blazer over my shoulders.
"Huh? No way, Ace. I'm not going to wear it. How are you going to keep yourself warm?" I asked with concern.
"I have both fire and ice magic, Cordelia...temperature won't affect me in the slightest," Ace chuckled.
Ace was being way too humble.
He had basically every single magic element known to mankind except for a few specific types.
"Even so, I won't believe that you've never felt cold before," I rolled my eyes jokingly at him.
"Oh...Of course, I've felt cold before when..." Ace was about to say before his voice trailed off.
"When?" I asked, curious to see what he was going to say.
Ace was silent for a while as a strained expression appeared on his face.
"...huh. That's weird...I don't remember...I swear...there was..." Ace tried to say as he spoke in broken speech.
I froze.
...Was it possible that Ace was close to getting his memories back?
I could feel some sort of strong pounding in my heart.
Was I feeling hopeful?
No.
I abandoned that thought immediately.
The last time I felt hopeful of Ace's return of memories...I was left disappointed beyond repair.
I didn't want to go through that again.
The more hope you have, the harder your heart will be crushed later on.
It's better to never have any expectations.
...That way, you can never be disappointed.
"Are you okay, Ace? Could you possibly be...?" I asked with worry as I used my arm to support him from behind.
It was quite difficult to get close to him since our umbrellas were in the way.
"No...It's nothing. I just feel a bit nauseous. I'm sorry," Ace said as his face turned dark.
"Let's go to the infirmary," I said immediately.
"No, we have our martial arts class next...I can't...afford to leave you alone with Mr. Maso in that classroom. I'm afraid that..." Ace murmured.
"...That he'll act like a disgusting pervert again?" I asked.
"No...that you'll kill him," Ace responded as his complexion slowly returned to normal.
"Hahaha...I probably wouldn't...kill him...or anything..." I muttered as I looked away from his eyes on reflex.
"I'm sure you won't kill him as long as I'm watching," Ace smiled.
I sighed.
Ace was back to normal.
...To be honest, I didn't know what to do earlier.
If I pressed him to remember his past, what would have happened?
What if his mental state deteriorated?
What if he passed out?
What if...he could have...gained his memories back?
What would've happened?
"Are you sure you're feeling better now, though?" I asked.
"Yes, I definitely am. I don't know what happened earlier," Ace replied with a sigh.
"Then...Are you okay with going to class?" I asked again.
"Yes, don't worry about me, Cordelia," Ace smiled as he ruffled my hair a bit with his hand.
I wonder if this was why cats and dogs enjoyed it when humans gave them pats on the head.
The feeling of Ace's hand as it softly caressed my head felt so warm and gentle.
It felt...comforting.
I wonder why.
.
.
A Little Bit Later
.
.
When we walked into class, it was clear that there was something happening.
All of our classmates were all watching someone in the corner of our classroom.
"W-Woah...Who's that kid...?" one noble boy questioned to his friends.
"I don't know. I definitely didn't see him in our class yesterday though..." another kid whispered.
"He looks like a living statue...His face is too perfect..." a girl muttered as blood dripped from her nose.
What was going on?
"Ugh...What's that smell..." a familiar voice said from the back corner of our classroom.
Could it possibly be...?
I walked over to the sound of the voice and I saw him.
The hidden male lead I met yesterday was simply laying on the ground in the corner of the room, recently waking up from a nap.
"What are you doing here?" I questioned with a stern look.
"...Oh. It's you..." the red-haired boy murmured as he yawned and stretched his arms.
"You didn't answer my question," I said sharply.
"...Too tired to answer..." he said simply and fell back asleep.
Seriously?
This dude was in the middle of class.
It was pretty late in the afternoon too.
He was supposed to be a prince, right?
Shouldn't he be used to waking up early like a regular person from a royal family?
I accidentally stepped on his hand as hard as I could.
"...Ouch," he said with the slowest reaction speed I had ever seen.
"Are you in this class too?" I asked.
"...Yeah," he replied after a long pause.
Darn it.
Was I cursed or something?!
Why do these things always happen to me?!
"By the way...do you smell something?" he asked me with a weird look on his face.
"Uh...other than dust and sweaty kids...no," I replied.
"I could have sworn..." he muttered as he glanced around the room.
After a bit, his eyes slowly landed on something behind me and he froze.
"What is it? What's going on?" I asked as I turned around to scan the classroom as well.
I didn't see anything unusual though.
There were a few kids with bloody noses and a few other kids who were unconscious...but that was pretty normal anyway.
"Nothing...I know what it is now..." he muttered as he closed his eyes again for sleep.
"What? You can't just say all of that and then not explain anything afterward," I angrily growled.
"...Too tired...to explain..." he murmured quietly as he slowly drifted off to dream-land.
This guy was terrifyingly fast at going to sleep.
He was definitely a professional.
"Let's just let him sleep...He seems to be very tired," Ace said behind me after witnessing everything.
"Wait. Before I do, let me stab him-" I was about to say before Ace cut me off.
"Cordelia..." Ace said sternly.
"...Fine..." I childishly pouted.
Darn it...the next time I see him...he's dead.
"I'm here, class!" someone said as they slammed our classroom door open.
Walking into our class was Mr. Maso.
As usual, he was shirtless.
But this time...there was a red paper heart taped onto his chest.
And the words: "I love you~ Master Cordelia~" were written in large bold letters for the entire school to see.
"Master~ I'm here to see you~! I missed you so much~!" Mr. Maso squealed as he held his arms out wide.
...One thing after another...
CAN I JUST GET A BREAK, PLEASE?!
