"Master~! Ah~! It feels so good to see you again~!" Mr. Maso squealed as he dropped to his knees in the front of the class.
...How does a normal human being tend to react to this type of situation?!
It had been so long since I have had a taste of normal that I didn't know what to think anymore.
Hmm...
I believe that the normal human's response is: "let's go murder him right now~"
Right?
Or maybe I'm wrong...
I'm pretty sure that the people back on Earth, in my past life, would've reacted that way, but I can't remember...
"Master~ Master~ Why won't you say anything~? Ah~ Your icy glares make me...so...so...Ah~ Weak~" he sang as he began crawling to me slowly.
I shuddered.
"Cordelia~ Please, yell at me~ Beat me up~ And hurt me~!" Mr. Maso cried as he grabbed onto my foot.
There was utter silence in the room.
And the only thing I could feel at this point was the rising embarrassment and irritation coursing through my veins.
Hahaha...
Maybe it would be a good idea to pack my bags now and run away from this school as soon as possible.
Nothing good has come from me being here at this place.
I mean...either way...I'll have to leave the school after killing Mr. Maso, right?!
They'll expel me anyway, so there is no point in needing to stay in this school any longer.
I clenched my fists.
"Oh no...Did I make Master angry~? Oh no~ Please, punish me~" Mr. Maso squeaked as he looked at my scary expression.
...Am I supposed to punch him or not?!?!?!
I definitely did not want to give him the satisfaction of giving him exactly what he wanted.
But...
As I stared on Mr. Maso's flushed face begging to be punched, I felt the unstoppable urge to kill him.
All of a sudden, I could hear the small stirring of the sleeping red-haired male lead as he woke up slightly from his sleep.
"...Who's that guy?" the red-haired boy asked with a yawn as he peeked open one of his eyes at Mr. Maso.
"...Don't even ask..." I replied with a sigh as I felt a headache form in the back of my mind.
Two of the most tiring human beings in the world were next to me at the same time.
"...Hello, sir..." the boy calmly nodded in acknowledgment to our teacher as if he didn't see anything wrong with the situation.
Excuse me?
Was he blind or something?
Did he not see that giant heart-shaped paper taped onto Mr. Maso's chest that revealed to the world that he was a masochist?!?!
"...Will the class start soon...? I want to get this all over with..." the red-haired boy asked the teacher politely with a clueless look on his face.
Everyone in the class looked at the boy in awe.
It takes serious skill to not react in front of Mr. Maso.
"...Um...O-Oh...yes...class...I forgot about that," Mr. Maso replied as he awkwardly replied to the red-haired boy.
Was it possible that...the boy's cluelessness and carelessness...was stopping Mr. Maso?!?!
Was it even possible to stop Mr. Maso to begin with??
"...I've changed my mind about you. You are a very useful person," I said out loud to the boy with a huge thumbs up.
As long as the boy could ward off Mr. Maso for me, I wouldn't hesitate to talk to him again, even if I wanted to kill him.
"Master~ I have to start class, okay~? Punish me later~ Punish...punish me...Ah~ Punish me, Master~!" Mr. Maso sang as he looked at me with a very perverted and disgusting looking expression on his face.
"...How about I kill you instead?" I asked with a low growl.
"Ah~! Master~! Your sharp words are just...perfect~!" Mr. Maso cried.
I groaned.
This was too tiring for me.
So, I grabbed the hands of the red-haired boy on the ground, pulled him up so he could stand, patted the dust off of his clothes, and then pushed the boy toward Mr. Maso.
He flopped onto Mr. Maso like a fish on dry land and they both tumbled to the ground.
I expected the boy to actually try to stand up and get off of Mr. Maso like a normal person.
But that never happened.
Instead, the red-haired boy fell asleep instantaneously the moment he made impact with the ground.
And thus, he was now sleeping on top of Mr. Maso without a care in the world.
Perfect.
"Cordelia...Do you think this is alright?" Ace asked me as he questioned my tactics.
"Of course...instead of dealing with the two of them at the same time, I should get the two of them to deal with each other instead. That way, I'll be the one to survive in the end," I chuckled evilly.
Ace sighed and gave a small chuckle of exasperation and amusement mixed together.
"Alright then, I'll trust you this time," Ace laughed a bit.
"Of course you can trust me! I'm incredibly trustable! Actually, I am the goddess of trustworthiness! Bow down and love me!" I yelled jokingly.
Ace's lips curved into a pure smile as he murmured something under his breath that I couldn't hear.
"Hmm?" I asked.
Ace continued to smile brightly as usual without responding to me.
What was that all about?
.
.
A Few Moments Later
.
.
The rain was really pouring outside now.
How were we supposed to learn martial arts?
I hope Mr. Maso doesn't give us worksheets on how to use a sword just because we can't practice outside.
"...Huh...? What's going on...?" the red-haired boy mumbled as he woke up.
In response, I pointed at the body of Mr. Maso on the ground below him.
"...Oh...hey there, Mr. Maso. How did you end up there?" the boy asked Mr. Maso as he waved at his teacher below him without even a hint of surprise on his face.
By this point, any normal person would've sat up immediately in order to let their teacher get out from underneath them, but the boy continued to lay there on top of Mr. Maso without moving.
...Actually, a normal person wouldn't be put into this situation in the first place.
Did he not realize...that he was squishing Mr. Maso against the floor right now?
Or...did he forget that he needed to get off of him?
Many questions were going through my mind as I questioned whether the boy was just clueless or pure stupid.
I think the proper description for this type of person is an...airhead.
Yep...I was 100% sure that this boy was a very sleepy and lazy airhead by nature.
Just who did I get myself involved with...?
"...Can you get off of me now...please...?" Mr. Maso asked quietly.
Dang.
Mr. Maso looked completely defeated.
I guess it really is impossible to win against an airhead.
"Huh? Oh. Yeah...sorry, sir. I forgot," he said with a sleepy nod as he took his time to slowly stand up.
"...thanks..." Mr. Maso mumbled as he stood up and walked all the way to the front of the class.
Heh.
I was free~
All I needed to do was to keep this guy around me and I would be able to escape Mr. Maso at any time!
Mwahahahaha!
"So...um...It's time for class to start. We'll be practicing with wooden swords inside the classroom today. Make sure to not break a window unless you want the rain to flood the room. That is all," Mr. Maso announced.
Whew.
It seemed that the work in class today would be fairly normal.
"Wait, I forgot to do attendance, so call back when you hear me say your name," Mr. Maso sighed as he picked up a paper and began to read off all the names on the sheet.
"Master Cordelia de Boren Cyllia~?" Mr. Maso called out my name.
"...here..." I mumbled back in reply.
I had to mentally think: "Don't look mad. Don't look mad. Don't look mad. Don't look mad...as you shred open his guts and repetitively stab him in your head."
"Ace le Lumiorum de Noi?" Mr. Maso asked after a while.
"Here," Ace replied.
I paid attention to Mr. Maso as he read off everyone's name.
I wanted to figure out what the red-haired boy's name was.
...It probably would've been easier for me to just ask the boy for his name.
But I hated that dude's guts, so I didn't feel like asking him for anything.
Thus, I waited for Mr. Maso to call out a familiar-sounding name.
"...Uh...Wolfeskikblokasretinhas juin Drakon ilun Escallopinuous Foxitilium le Roi...........? Did I...pronounce that name right...?" Mr. Maso asked out loud with obvious uncertainty in his voice.
I simply stood there with my mouth agape from that name.
Who the heck would name their child that name?!
How does someone even pronounce that?!?!?!
I tried repeating the name in my head, but I failed miserably.
"Here," said the red-haired boy.
"Was my pronunciation okay?" Mr. Maso asked.
"Your pronunciation was terrible...Just call me Wolfe," the red-haired boy replied simply as if he expected the teacher to mess up from the very beginning.
With my eyes wide, I turned to face the boy.
He must've had very...eccentric parents.
Or maybe it was just a cultural difference.
Who knows...
At least I remember his name now.
Wolfe was the first hidden character of the game.
I can't believe I forgot about someone like him.
"Oh~! I forgot to say...if Master Cordelia does not have anyone to spar with, feel free to beat me-" Mr. Maso tried to say before Ace cut him off.
"Cordelia will be fine on her own. Thank you," Ace said as he provided the perfect defense against Mr. Maso.
Nice one, Ace!
Assuming from the fact that Mr. Maso was only pleasured by my anger, as long as I didn't say anything to him, Mr. Maso would never get to feel the satisfaction of seeing me want to kill him.
Therefore, I'm just going to let Ace and that other boy do all the work for me.
"Let's start practicing, okay?" I asked as I grabbed two wooden swords.
I gave one to Ace with a smile as I prepped myself for...war.
I was very competitive by heart...so I wanted to win this not-really-a-competition competition no matter what.
"If we go all out, all the windows may break, Cordelia. We'll have to pay for the damage," Ace said as he picked up his sword from my hands.
"...That's true. Dad might become...slightly worried if the school sends him a letter about me misbehaving by...breaking windows...beating up my classmates...and killing my teachers..." I muttered.
"That is true," Ace nodded.
"...Who cares?! Let's do it anyway!" I yelled childishly without a care in the world as I launched a surprise attack on Ace.
"Wha-" Ace tried to say before he used his sword to block me a millisecond before I could wack his face.
"Hmm...This will be hard...You are very fast after all..." I murmured with a grin.
Sparring with Ace was the best.
No matter what I did, I could almost guarantee that Ace would make it out unscathed, so I had the opportunity to go all out.
It was exciting.
"...I don't really want to fight with you, Cordel-" Ace tried to say before I cut him off by swinging my sword again at him.
"If you don't put up a good fight back, I might actually be able to land a hit on you~" I giggled as he blocked me yet again.
Ace sighed as he let go of whatever was stopping him and he gave me a rare mischievous smile.
"...Well...I'd rather not get injured here..." Ace said as he held his sword toward me.
"Hmm...since you're a lot faster than me...to give you a handicap, you're going to have to make sure no one else gets hurt and nothing breaks on accident! If anything happens, you lose, okay?" I said with a grin.
"You want me to protect the classroom and face you at the same time? That sounds a bit difficult...but..." Ace murmured as he looked to me.
"What?" I asked.
"I think I can manage," Ace teased me with a small laugh.
"...I won't make it that easy!" I yelled as I continued to consecutively attack Ace from all around.
At this point, everyone in the room was huddling up in the corner together in order to get out of our way, except for Wolfe, the red-haired boy, of course.
Wolfe was sleeping on the floor in the middle of the room like there was no tomorrow and he held onto his sword like a teddy bear as he snored softly in front of everyone.
I could see the overwhelming number of girls who eyed the sleeping Wolfe as if he were a full-course meal in front of their faces, which he actually was.
Just by sleeping...Wolfe has probably captured the hearts of every girl in our class.
"Where are your eyes wandering, Cordelia?" Ace asked as he swung his sword at me as well.
His swing was weak though.
I could tell Ace was holding back to make sure he wouldn't accidentally hurt me.
I melted at his thoughtfulness...but I wasn't satisfied.
"Stop holding back, Ace! You'll never get to win at this rate," I sneered jokingly at him as my sword met Ace's again.
"I'll make sure to not make it too easy on you, Cordelia," Ace chuckled in reply.
The clashing of our wooden swords rang throughout the classroom.
I honestly never knew wooden swords could handle so much pressure, but apparently, they could.
"Stop...fighting...please..." one boy squeaked in the corner of the room.
"Mommy...save me..." another person yelped.
Both me and Ace paused at the sound of the voices.
When I turned my head, I could see the scared faces of our classmates.
Oops...
I think I messed up.
"Hahaha...Sorry, folks. My bad..." I said awkwardly to apologize.
The rest of the class just stayed silent.
"...You guys were moving too fast that they got scared," Wolfe, the red-haired boy, said from behind me.
Hmm?
I turned around to see Wolfe standing directly behind me.
He stood casually with his sword resting on his shoulder.
"When did you get there??" I asked in surprise.
I thought he was sleeping the whole time.
"...Just now?" he replied with a cock of his head.
"Oh..." I muttered.
His stealth skills were insane.
...Hmm...
Maybe this was a good chance to test out his strength and use it as an excuse to beat him up!
"Do you want to spar with me?" I asked him with a scary grin leaking out of me by accident.
"...Sparring?" he asked.
"Yeah. With our swords," I nodded.
In the game, Wolfe was supposedly a very good swordsman.
But I definitely couldn't imagine someone as lazy as him to have the strength that the game described him to have.
He definitely had the muscles and the build to be a master swordsman...but without training, a person's physique was nothing.
"...I'm too tired though..." he mumbled.
"You owe me a sparring match! After what you said at breakfast, the boys won't leave me alone now! Take some responsibility for your actions," I replied with a groan.
"........Oh...Um...I'm sorry if I did something bad," he said after a long pause.
...Did he not realize how terrible his stupid dating-a-rock lie was???
Was he actually trying to help me back then out of the pureness of his heart???
He didn't mean anything bad by it???
I don't believe that.
"...Anyway, I challenge you to a sparring match right now!" I yelled.
Let's see what the otome game's definition of a sword prodigy is...
And if things go well...I'll get to beat him up too...
"...Ok...but can the time limit be five minutes? I want to take a nap soon since I wasn't able to sleep enough today..." he said with a sigh.
...I had no idea what his definition of 'enough sleep' was...but I chose to not think about it too much.
"Alright..." I replied as I held out my sword in front of him.
I waited for him to do the same, but he just limply held his sword by his side as if he were holding a walking stick.
"O-Okay...let's begin, Wolfe," I said.
I waited for him to make the first move, but again, he just stood still.
In fact, I think he was on the verge of falling asleep.
No matter how you look at it, he was definitely inexperienced with the sword.
His form was terrible and his fighting sense was off.
I couldn't sense any competitiveness from him either.
"Can we start...?" Wolfe asked after some time had passed.
Ugh...
This dude was getting even more on my nerves.
"Alright. You asked for it," I replied as I charged at him at Mach speed.
I swung my sword at his neck, aiming to hit him at a place that would deal the most damage.
Everything after that happened so fast that my brain wasn't able to comprehend it all.
One millisecond later, my whole body was on the floor and above me, Wolfe was loosely holding his sword against my own neck.
"Hmm...I guess that's it," Wolfe said with a small nod of accomplishment as he stood up, gently placed his sword on the ground near me, found the nearest corner of the room, made himself comfy, curled up into a ball like a cat, and fell back asleep.
...What?

A/N: I ended this chapter on a slightly weird spot, but oh well~
Nowadays, I've been spending my time at home by playing games, reading stories, eating, and sleeping.
I have been feeling very bored lately, but writing this story has certainly been one of the best things I did this week to pass the time.
I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter though! I am very happy to introduce the last male lead to appear, Wolfeskikblokasretinhas juin Drakon ilun Escallopinuous Foxitilium le Roi, to you all.
And if you guys are wondering, no, even I did not manage to memorize his name and perfectly pronounce it.
Thanks, again, to all my readers/voters/commenters! You guys are as sweet as always~
Stay safe!
Okie byeee!
