A/N: I overestimated how long this last part was going to be by A LOT. So I decided to split it into two chapters and update both. You're welcome~

Please read the chapter after this if you haven't already!!

This chapter is dark, creepy, and etc. All the trigger warnings in the past parts of the special apply here as well. Don't read if you don't enjoy a bit of gore too.

Also, there's important plot info in this part of the special, including scenes that Cordelia doesn't know about! Don't skip it just because you think it'll be a repeat of past chapters~ ;)

Alright, that's all! Please, enjoy the chapter~

------------------------------------------------

For a few days after that, I retired to my room, taking the time to think in silence.

Diana.

Do you know?

I met a girl like you.

She had your eyes.

She even acts the same way that you would have acted if you were still alive and happy.

Whenever she looks at me, I feel like you're right in front of me again.

I can see you smiling.

Like you're in front of me.

You must be upset at me for thinking this way, right?

I'm disappointed in myself too.

I'm the one who killed you.

I miss you so much.

Are you somewhere watching me?

Can you hear me?

I don't know what I should do.

What should I do...?

I spoke to the ghost of the girl that had always haunted me until this day for killing her.

She stood in the corner of my room, her bloodshot, lifeless eyes staring back at mine.

No matter where I went, she was always following me.

Everywhere.

Diana.

.

.

.

I decided to attend classes one day after a week or so of absence.

But I horribly regretted it the moment that I did.

For some reason, humans crowded around me wherever I went, nearly begging me for attention, which left me no room to breathe.

It didn't help that the awful side-effects of my bloodlust suppressants would come and go throughout the day, worsening my mood.

By the time I made it to my last class of the day, martial arts class, I was already quite worn out and I collapsed in the corner of the room as my head spun in circles, leaving me breathless and dizzy.

Vampires need blood.

Even if I took bloodlust suppressants, it didn't change the fact that my body needed blood—the pills only forced my mind to think that I didn't.

As my vision blurred and the world seemed to spin in front of me, at some point, I passed out on the ground, still surrounded by a large group of humans.

But a certain sweet smell began to permeate the room, waking me up from my deep slumber.

"Ugh...What's that smell..." I mumbled, my mind still groggy from my sleep.

"What are you doing here?" a girl questioned from in front of me when I woke up.

I thought it was another random student trying to bother me, so I was about to tell them off before I saw two crystal-blue eyes staring back at me.

"...Oh. It's you..." I murmured, yawning, and stretching my limbs.

"You didn't answer my question," she said steely.

I had no idea why she had such an angry look on her face.

"...Too tired to answer..." I said slowly, the effects of my medicine hitting me again.

But before I could fully drift off to sleep again, I could feel something graze my hand.

I peeked open my eyes to see the girl's foot on my hand, seemingly trying to smash it to pieces.

This was nothing in comparison to the bone-crushing stomps that my mother inflicted on my body throughout my life, so I didn't know how to react properly when I realized this girl was doing it too.

"...Ouch," I said unconvincingly.

I couldn't feel pain, so it was difficult to judge how painful it should have been.

"Are you in this class too?" she asked angrily.

"...Yeah."

Why was she so mad...?

As I was thinking this, the sickeningly sweet smell that I took notice of before continued to spread around the room, leaving me breathless.

"By the way...do you smell something?" I asked her.

"Uh...other than dust and sweaty kids...no," she replied sarcastically.

"I could have sworn..." I muttered.

I turned my head to find the source of my smell and, as soon as I did, I deeply regretted it.

There were a total of twelve kids with blood dripping down from their noses.

D-mn it...

"What is it? What's going on?" the blue-eyed girl asked in confusion.

"Nothing...I know what it is now..." I sighed, turning my gaze away from those students and closing my eyes, hoping for sleep to take me soon.

"What? You can't just say all of that and then not explain anything afterward," she growled.

"...Too tired...to explain..." I replied as my brain complied with my wishes and sent me off to sleep.

When I opened my eyes again, my eyesight seemed to have cleared a bit, thankfully, so I began to stretch my sore limbs and yawn, doing my best to shake off the last bits of drowsiness from my system.

I turned my upward to see a man taller than me, which was quite rare, especially in a human nation, standing at the front of the class causing quite a commotion.

He had a large red paper heart taped to his chest labeled: "I love you~ Master Cordelia~"

...Was this another strange human custom...?

I didn't want to seem discriminate of humans in any way so I chose to ignore it.

"...Who's that guy?" I asked the blue-eyed girl standing near me.

"...Don't even ask..." she replied with a sigh.

"...Hello, sir...Will the class start soon...? I want to get this all over with..." I said honestly as I turned to the man, who I assumed to be the teacher.

I had a terrible headache and the number of people constantly surrounding me made me sick to my stomach.

"...Um...O-Oh...yes...class...I forgot about that," the man replied awkwardly.

The blue-eyed girl looked at me with raised eyebrows all of a sudden.

"...I've changed my mind about you. You are a very useful person," she said, raising her thumb toward me.

...Wasn't this girl mad at me a few moments ago...?

How and why did she look so content now...?

The blue-eyed girl and our teacher continued to talk together for some time and, the next thing I knew, the girl had grabbed me by the wrist and threw me somewhere across the room.

I crashed into someone and fell to the ground with a groan.

Never again...

...I will never attend my classes again...

The sudden unexpected movement made my already worn-out mind shut off against my will and the world went black.

.

.

.

When I awoke, I found out that I had actually landed on top of our teacher, Mr. Maso.

I apologized, of course...although, it took me some time due to my drowsiness.

Eventually, Mr. Maso took attendance for our class, and not surprisingly, he absolutely butchered my real name and completely mispronounced the entire thing.

After he finished this and gave everyone, including me, a wooden sword, I found a suitable place in the classroom for a nap.

Fortunately, it seemed as if though this teacher of mine wouldn't care if I fell asleep during his class or not.

I fell asleep with the light wooden stick in my hands, hoping for no interruptions but, of course, things never went my way and the loud crashing sounds within the classroom woke me up from my rest.

The source of all the noise came from a light spar between the blue-eyed girl, whom I had learned was named 'Cordelia' after Mr. Maso took attendance, and another boy, Ace, who was clearly holding back a majority, if not all, of his strength while fighting against her.

Ace...

At first glance, he seemed to be quite the sweet-looking boy but, without a doubt, that man was an absolute monster.

Would I even stand a tiny chance if I were to face him?

Probably not.

He was hiding his fangs—I could tell.

There was no way someone that strong was just an innocent child.

Mess with him once and the entire school was going to burn down.

...How dangerous.

And from the look in his eyes...

I turned to the blue-eyed girl and then back to that man.

...He was so terribly obvious about his feelings toward her.

Was she his only weakness?

Yes, if I ever mess with that blue-eyed girl, he would likely send me to a place worse than hell.

I wonder if that blue-eyed girl had noticed that fact though.

Eventually, their quick movements frightened the rest of the classroom and the blue-haired girl was forced to apologize to her classmates for the commotion.

I sighed and walked in to intervene.

"...You guys were moving too fast that they got scared," I said as I walked behind her with my wooden sword hanging loosely in my hand.

She looked extremely surprised to see me behind her.

"When did you get there??" she asked.

"...Just now?" I replied, confused by her reaction.

"Oh..." she muttered.

She still seemed quite confused.

Really...her expressions were exactly as Diana's used to be.

"Do you want to spar with me?" she asked me with a scary grin all of a sudden.

"...Sparring?"

"Yeah. With our swords," she nodded.

"...I'm too tired though..."

"You owe me a sparring match! After what you said at breakfast, the boys won't leave me alone now! Take some responsibility for your actions."

Was she talking about my boyfriend-rock story...?

"........Oh...Um...I'm sorry if I did something bad," I apologized.

She looked surprised that I said sorry so soon.

"...Anyway, I challenge you to a sparring match right now!" she yelled loudly.

All of a sudden, I felt heavy pressure coming from someone from the room aimed toward me.

I immediately turned my head to the source and saw the man, Ace, looking at me straight in the eye, silently telling me without words: Don't hurt her.

Scary...

And the blue-eyed girl didn't even notice.

She must be quite dense.

"...Ok...but can the time limit be five minutes? I want to take a nap soon since I wasn't able to sleep enough today..." I finally said with a sigh.

"Alright," she replied.

She held her sword toward me stiffly.

"O-Okay...let's begin, Wolfe," she said.

The way she held her sword was quite stiff, leaving many open places where I could have easily bashed my sword in.

Was this what humans considered advanced...?

I turned back to the man, Ace, standing behind her and out of her field of vision.

He didn't let his eyes wander away from me once.

Really...if I even make a scratch on this girl, will I even live to see tomorrow?

"Can we start...?" I asked after some time.

Ever since our match started, the girl had not moved once from her spot.

"Alright. You asked for it," she growled as she charged at me.

Hmm...she was pretty fast, but that was about it.

I easily swiped my legs under hers, causing her to lose her balance.

But before she could crash to the floor, I looped one of my arms behind her back and caught her.

I took a tiny glance at the man, Ace, and nearly sighed in relief when he gave me a slight nod of approval.

Really...I wasn't even moving that slow—if I had to guess, I had done all this at Mach 15 speed?

But that man was easily able to watch my movements and even give his feedback on it as if I had just moved in slow motion in front of his eyes.

For the theatrics of a wooden sword spar, I limply held my sword against her neck, making sure I didn't accidentally poke her with it, since I would probably die if I did.

"Hmm...I guess that's it," I muttered when it was clear that the match had ended and I placed my sword by her side and moved away.

I walked past that man, Ace, bumping shoulders slightly with him.

It felt like walking into a boulder.

Yep.

This man was dangerous.

Honestly, the spar was so short and easy but it was probably one of the riskiest matches I ever had to face.

I could feel the effects of my medicine making use of my exhaustion, forcing me to fall asleep the moment I sat down in a good-looking corner of the room.

.

.

.

Later, by the time I woke up, class had long since ended and I was left alone in the dark empty classroom by myself.

I sighed.

This felt more normal to me than whatever I had been through for the past few weeks at this strange academy—trapped in a dark room all by myself.

Diana.

I don't think I belong here.

Humans.

They all smell of blood.

I'm scared.

Don't you know, Diana?

I don't like blood anymore.

After I killed you, I can't stand the sight of it.

Haha...I'm a terrible person, aren't I?

Diana, who was standing in the corner of the room by my side, nodded her head lifelessly back at me, confirming all of my thoughts.

I hate blood, Diana.

I hate it so much.

I'm even taking these horrible pills every week to stop myself.

And yet, why...

Why...Why is it that every time I see the color red, my conviction starts to waver?

Diana...I'm scared.

I don't want to go back to those times.

I'm scared.

Diana.

.

.

.

Ever since then, I've bumped into Cordelia, that blue-eyed girl, many times by coincidence.

Each time I met her, she held a small frown on her face as if she had some sort of unknown grudge against me.

For some reason, she grew even more upset whenever I mentioned that I utterly despised human food.

Personally, I found food to be disgusting in more ways than one.

But for some reason, Cordelia's blue eyes would always flash in anger when I honestly stated my opinion.

Eventually, I found myself telling her how disgusting food was on purpose, so I could see that fiery anger in her eyes—exactly like the energy in Diana's eyes when she was alive.

I turned my face to Diana, who always hovered by my side.

Her lifeless eyes never blinked, never twinkled, and never moved.

It was as if, even in death, Diana could not close her eyes and enter eternal rest.

Then I turned back to Cordelia, who's each and every movements were always so animated and lively that it was nearly impossible to keep up with her.

Haha...My heart wrenched at the sight of it.

.

.

.

"Hey, you're back late today. Did something happen?" my roommate, Florence asked me as I entered our dorm room.

"Mmm...Nothing important," I answered as I clenched the new bottle of pills that I had just picked up from one of my family servants by the East Gate and quickly swallowed one without hesitation.

I dropped limply onto my bed, my limbs unable to move the way I wanted them to.

"Why do you always take so much medication?" Florence asked.

"...Too tired...to explain..." I mumbled as a wave of drowsiness hit me.

"Please answer me. I'd like to know," Florence said as the tone of his voice slightly shifted.

I turned to look at Florence's face.

Why was he asking so many questions today?

"Sorry...I'm just curious," he chuckled awkwardly as he took a seat by me.

"Mhm," I sighed.

Florence seemed to be slightly in thought for a moment.

His eyes scanned me up and down as if he were examining and recording data about me—like a test subject of some sort.

"You're acting strange today," I said seriously when I realized he started to grin.

"Haha...Am I? Really though, you're body is really perfect, just like 'he' said," Florence muttered.

I did not know who Florence was referring to when he mentioned 'he.'

And why was he looking at my body like this...?

It felt very awkward and uncomfortable.

"What?" I asked him.

"Do you consider yourself a mentally strong person?" Florence asked me.

I turned my head slightly to see the ghost of the bloodshot-eyes Diana standing in the corner of the room watching me.

"No," I answered simply.

"Good. That's perfect," Florence nodded.

"...Excuse me?"

Florence had a strange look on his face.

It was neither scary...cold...nor humorous.

But he didn't have a neutral expression either.

Instead, he looked more like he was approaching the brink of insanity himself.

What in the world...has this man gone through...?

First Ace and now this man...

The men surrounding that blue-eyed girl, Cordelia, were all scary in their own way.

Did Cordelia have any clue what was going on behind the scenes...?

Probably not.

And that was the scariest part.

"Hey, are you okay today? You seem out of it," I said to Florence out of obligatory concern.

"Wolfe," he said.

"...Yeah?"

"I'm sorry."

For a moment, I had no idea what he meant by this, so I simply tried to disregard his words from my mind.

But before I could, Florence took a dagger from who-knows-where and stabbed me squarely in the chest, twisting the blade to crack my ribcages apart.

I didn't know how to react and widened my eyes in disbelief and shock.

When I turned my head back to Florence, he was smiling with empty soulless eyes.

"Dude...? Are you sure you're okay?" I asked him slowly, actually concerned for him from the bottom of my heart this time.

"Haha...That's how you react? Well, 'he' had told me you couldn't feel pain anyway, so I guess it makes sense," he chuckled.

"Can you get this knife out of my body now? You're actually starting to scare me," I said as Florence's expression became more and more grim over time.

"Sorry, but not yet," Florence replied.

"Does Cordelia know you're like this? Stabbing people randomly while they're laying down?"

Florence froze for a moment.

Then he smiled.

A wide smile without a single speck of light in his eyes.

I had never seen a more painful smile in my life.

"No, she doesn't. And she never will," he said as he finally pulled the knife out of my chest.

Just as I was about to sigh in relief, Florence took his hand, spread open the hole in my chest, and reached his hand through it, placing his entire fist into the hole in my body.

What.

Was this a normal human custom or something?

Did humans do this regularly?

He actually seemed quite proficient at doing these sorts of things.

Or was I possibly...in a bad position right now?

I couldn't tell.

But before I could press for more, and surge of some strange power flowed through my chest.

Pain.

It had been years since I had felt pain.

I screamed as I felt as if though he were pouring acid into my body.

How...

My body couldn't feel pain anymore...!

So how...!

"I need to attach 'him' to your soul. It'll hurt a bit. You're body's immune to pain, but your soul isn't," Florence smiled as my vision went black.

My...soul...?

Who was he attaching to my soul...?

But the pain felt unbearable and my head spun out of control, making me feel drunk and delirious off of the pain.

"Good night," he murmured as I was slowly losing hold of the last bit of consciousness I had left.

Florence...why...

Then I blacked out.

.

.

.

I couldn't remember a single thing that happened during or after that point when I came back to my senses.

When I asked Florence if anything happened that night, he told me that I simply passed out immediately on the bed without a word.

I believed him.

It sounded like something I would do anyway.

But every once and a while, I would feel strange—like I wasn't in control of my own body anymore.

It felt somewhat as if I were dreaming.

Like I was some mindless puppet to some unknown force.

My body moved on its own at times as if I were being possessed by someone.

But when I woke up from this dream of mine, I would find myself in strange places that I could not remember walking to before, with absolutely no memory of what had just happened to me.

This would happen multiple times throughout the week, leaving me deeply confused.

(A/N: For those of you who are confused or forgotten what happened back then, check the bottom half of 'Chapter 57' for a refresher!)

At one point, it became especially bad and I slipped in and out of consciousness multiple times throughout every day to the point where I couldn't even tell the difference between reality and dream.

Cordelia also started to become wary of me for some reason.

Did I do something to her?

But I couldn't even remember...

Eventually, I began to fear my loss of consciousness and I locked myself up in my dorm, trying to figure out what was wrong with me.

What was happening to me...?

Diana...

Diana...do you know why?

I asked the girl who stood in the corner of the room, never leaving.

But she never responded.

Just like always.

Diana...Why.

Why are you there just to torture me?

Diana...Do you hate me?

Why...

Diana...

.

.

.

One day, I found myself waking up from one of my brief moments of unconsciousness and realized I was in a completely different room other than my own.

Cordelia...?

She was laughing loudly, insanity coating her eyes as she stared at me.

(A/N: Refer to 'Chapter 59' for a refresher~)

What was happening...?

I could sense other people coming and, not knowing the situation, I fled the room by jumping out of the window when no one was looking.

Why...

What was going on...?

Nothing made sense.

Nothing at all.

Never.

I never should have gone to this cursed school.

Everything...felt so wrong here.

Little did I know, this would be the last time I would see Cordelia for the next three months.

.

.

.

"Where is she," he said as he slammed the door open to our dorm room.

"What?" I asked Florence, who was frantically charging toward me with a crazed look in his eyes.

"I ASKED YOU. WHERE IS SHE?" he yelled as he suddenly gripped me by the collar and lifted me from my bed so my gaze was level with his.

"I don't understand. What's going on?" I asked him.

Why was he so angry?

"Why the hell are you ignoring me...You promised. You promised me you wouldn't touch her. Where is she...Answer me," Florence said, the volume of his voice lowering as his breath became unsteady.

"I'm not ignoring you. And also, I don't recall making any promises with you...? And who are you talking about? Who is missing?" I asked him seriously as I brushed his hands off of my clothes.

"STOP IGNORING ME! ANSWER ME ALREADY," Florence roared into my face.

That was when I realized...

...Florence wasn't talking to me.

He wasn't trying to speak with 'Wolfe.'

He was trying to speak to someone else entirely.

"I don't know who you're referring to right now, but this isn't funny Florence. What's going on?" I asked him seriously.

Florence cursed and threw a glass cup filled with water on the ground in anger, shattering it.

"D-mn it...D-mn it all," he repeated as he slammed his fist on the wall.

"Hey, calm down. Who's going to clean all of this later?" I asked him.

"..."

Florence looked like he was standing on the edge of a cliff with nowhere to go.

"Cordelia. She's gone," he whispered.

"What...?"

"Didn't you hear me...? I said...she's gone. She's missing," Florence murmured as he looked at me with desperate eyes.

Suddenly the door to our room slammed open and I could see another man with green eyes storm into the room.

Ace...

Oh god, not the other one.

He charged into the room, grabbing Florence by the collar, looking like he was ready to punch out all of Florence's teeth.

His eyes looked wild as if there was an untamed beast on the other side of his pupils.

"You know something, don't you," Ace said through gritted teeth.

"I told you already...I don't know anything...! If I knew, I wouldn't be like this!" Florence yelled back angrily in reply.

At this moment, I was debating on what would be the best time to quietly leave the room.

Under no circumstance did I want to be stuck here with these two monsters—especially when they looked like they were ready to kill someone.

...Why am I even here in the first place...?

"Stop messing with me. The moment I told you that Cordelia disappeared, you ran off like a frantic fool on drugs all the way back to your room. Why. Answer me," Ace said in the darkest tone I had ever heard of in my life.

You could physically see his eyes become a dark shade of ruby red.

The temperature of the room physically went cold from his words and I could feel chills rising up on my back.

And he wasn't even yelling.

Wasn't this dude...and amnesia patient...?

When and how did he learn to be like this...?!

I turned to Florence.

Even though his outer appearance seemed calm, if you looked close enough, you would be able to tell that he was on the verge of collapsing onto the ground from the pressure.

Florence stood no chance against that monster.

He would be killed if this dragged out any longer.

"Hey, you two. Would you care to explain the situation to me, please??" I asked them, trying to intervene before blood could spill before my eyes.

Ace turned his head to me as if he had just realized that I had been standing here the whole time.

Gee...I'm really just a worthless bug to this dude.

"You're that redhead. Wolfe...right?" Ace asked me as he slowly let go of Florence's collar.

Haha...if Cordelia knew that this was what Ace was really like, she would freak out.

My blood went cold in his presence.

Should I run?

No...he'd kill me before I could even move a step.

"When was the last time you saw Cordelia...?" he asked me as he started moving toward me.

Why.

I'd prefer it if he'd stay as far away from me as possible.

"Almost three days ago," I answered immediately.

"Do you know anything?" Ace asked me.

I literally said a thousand times already!

No, I don't know anything!

I wanted to yell that out loud, but obviously, I couldn't.

"No, I don't. What happened?" I asked him.

"..."

Ace went silent and didn't answer.

Gee...thank you for being so helpful.

He left the room without a word, probably thinking that he had better things to be doing, leaving me and Florence in the room by ourselves.

I collapsed to the ground as all the tension left me and Florence slouched into the nearest chair.

Later I would find out that Cordelia had disappeared to a place that not even the all-powerful Ace could find.
