[3rd Person POV]
"Nngghh... What the... Kuhh...! My head..."
Stirring awake with a raging headache pulsing in her head, Aria opened her eyes to an unfamiliar ceiling with the afternoon sun shining upon her from the window to her left.
She slowly lifted her body up with a struggle, holding her head in pain as she clenched her eyes close before slowly adjusting them to the light and began looking around.
It was a large, luxurious room, a size bigger than her classroom but similar in design. But instead of chairs and desks, there were large canopy beds with white, silk curtains. They were separated by quite a large distance for privacy reasons, and each bed has a bed-side desk with a vase with beautiful fresh flowers decorating it.
Where is this... When did I got here...?
She recalled sneaking out of her lecture and heading to her empty classroom. And when she was about to give that snobby slut a taste of her own medicine, she blacked out...
No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't remember what happened.
"Ah, so you finally woke up."
Just then, a beautiful, melodic voice snapped her out of her daze.
She turned her head towards the person and saw an enviously beautiful bespectacled woman in a pure white doctor's coat. She had beautiful, sharp, light blue eyes, a sharp nose, and luscious red lips. And under her coat, she wore a white shirt, which was visibly struggling to keep her voluminous bosom in, and a tight, black, pencil skirt that seemed to confine her round hips a bit too perfectly.
She scowled in envy at her "slutty" proportions and appearance, weaving her own background story about the woman before her being a slut who "f*cked" her way up to where she is now.
Fortunately, although the doctor noticed her scowl, she interpreted it as her wincing in pain from her headache.
"Where... is this..."
"This is the infirmary of the royal academy. I found you unconscious, lying on the courtyard. You must've fainted from heat stroke due to being in the sun for too long. Have you been skipping class?"
"I- Nngghh...!"
Aria intensified her glare at the doctor, wanting to refute her accusation even if she was right in that she skipped class. But the moment she tried, a wave of pain assaulted her brain and all that escaped her lips were instead groans of pain.
A sigh escaped her luscious red lips, crossing her arms under the massive bosom, before continuing.
"I will look past this and not report you to your homeroom teacher since you seemed to be in terrible pain. You may rest for the rest of the day and return after you feel better. But do not repeat the same mistake again."
"...Yes."
Aria harrumphed and laid back down to the bed and covered herself with the thick, soft blanket, earning her another shaking of the head from the doctor.
Seems like the rumors of her unruly behavior was not exaggerated after all...
Sighing for the umpteenth time since she carried the infamous female student to the infirmary, she returned to her desk and continued filling up the paper works related to the sleeping female student.
By afternoon, right after all class have ended for the day, the blond-haired student woke up with vigor and left the room stomping without even turning an eye to the doctor. And when she left, she slammed the door close, earning the silent ire of the doctor.
"Hah... How did she even qualify as a student of the royal academy..."
She shook her head tiredly.
In all the years she had worked as a doctor to the prestigious royal academy, this was the first time she had ever seen such an ill-mannered person in her infirmary.
There wasn't even an ounce of gratitude in that girl even though she had carried her to a comfortable bed for her to rest in and took care of her for hours.
I should bring this up in the next teacher's meeting... Although she may not be able to influence the other children, she is bound to cause trouble in this academy sooner or later.
She decided before she headed to the bed Aria just slept in and tidied them up.
*Knock* *Knock*
"Doctor Angelina, please excuse us."
Just as she finished preparing the bed, a knock came from the door. Then, she heard a familiar voice that she would've never mistaken for anything.
"Alterisa-sama? Please come in."
Having known her for a few years since they were introduced to each other by Lawliela when Alterisa came up with the first water element healing spell in the world, Angelina von Hohenheim was extremely familiar with the brilliant young girl who was both extremely beautiful in appearance and in heart.
They've worked closely in collaboration along with Lawliela to advance the medical field by teaching doctors with affinity to water element Alterisa's healing spell. And in just a few years, the rate of recovery from heavy injuries has skyrocketed into the skies.
With just this achievement alone, Alterisa could've become an extremely high ranking and well respected doctor in the kingdom. Those who were healed from their injuries by this magic, especially those who were high ranking, have also expressed their gratitude for the one who came up with such incredible healing magic that can be used by mages with affinity to the water element instead of the much rarer mages with affinity to the light element.
Unfortunately, Alterisa herself refused to be named for her achievement in the creation of such a life-saving magic spell. She even wanted Angelina to receive the honors in her stead. But of course, Angelina refused.
Thus, without a name or a person to give their gratitude to, the people gave the mysterious and anonymous archmage who healed them the title of the "Saintess".
And now, the very "Saintess" was carrying a seemingly fine and unharmed girl carefully by her shoulders.
"Doctor Angelina, will you please help her and heal her injuries?"
"Injuries...? What happened?"
Angelina looked between Alterisa and the redly blushing brown-haired noble lady as she fidgeted shyly from being so close to her. The juxtaposition in the appearance of the mature-looking girl with down turned eyes, shapely figure, and hair curled over her right shoulder, a hairstyle which was effective in giving a girl a mature look, and her actions made it quite an unusual sight. Then again, Alterisa was known to make even the queen and her friends' mother swoon by her actions, so it was understandable.
The girl snapped out of her daze when she noticed Angelina's gaze, but before she could answer, Alterisa answered first with a pained expression.
"It is my fault, Doctor... We were sparing for our practical magic class. And because I failed to control my own magic, I caused Marianne-sama to be pushed back and fall onto the frozen floor..."
She looked down in regret before turning towards Marianne apologetically, clasping her hands tightly with hers.
Touched by her concerns, Marianne couldn't hold herself back anymore.
"I-I am fine Lorya-sama! Y-You've healed me with your magic...! There's not even a mark left...!"
"That's no good, Marianne-sama! You should check with the doctor just in case, okay? What if you got a mark because of it! A beautiful girl such as yourself shouldn't have such marks on your unblemished skin!"
"B-Beautiful?! H-Hauuuuhh..."
"Doctor, will you please take a look at her and make sure?"
Angelina smiled helplessly at her.
Alterisa's water element healing magic was extremely powerful that could heal even heavy injuries and most diseases. An injury like a bruise or some light scratch would no doubt be healed if she really did used it on Marianne
But even then, she still worries. Even though healing her was already more than enough, she still took Marianne to her and worried for her. The title of the "Saintess" was truly made for her, who embodied genuine kindness and nobility.
If she sat on the throne as the mother of the kingdom, Angelina was convinced she would bring prosperity and happiness to even the frailest commoner child.
"Then, please take a sit on the bed. I shall began the examination.
"Yes. Thank you very much, Doctor. Let's go, Marianne-sama."
"I understand..."
The examination took only a few minutes since there was indeed no injuries on any part of Marianne's body, not even a blemish on her skin.
And only then did Alterisa breathe out a sigh of relief. She took Marianne's hand and brought it near her chest, clasping it ever so tightly, causing the poor girl's face to turn bright red.
"I apologize once again, Marianne -sama. Truly. I will make this up to you. Ah, and I'll also send you Eden's best care package for your skin."
"E-Eh?! Y-You don't need to go that far, Lorya-sama! You've healed me! I-I can't receive such a thing!"
"No, please accept it, Marianne-sama. I can't risk damaging your beauty because of my carelessness."
"L-Lorya-sama... I understand. Then... I shall humbly accept it and tell even more of my friends and family how amazing they are!!!"
"Yes. Thank you for accepting it."
Alterisa let go of her hand and turned her attention from the love-struck girl to the doctor.
"Thank you very much for your help as always, Doctor Angelina. Let's have some tea in the future."
"Mm. Feel free to come here for a chat. I will always welcome you."
"Yes~! Then, please excuse us. Let's return to class, Marianne-sama."
"Y-Y-Yes...!"
The morning after, news of the famous Alterisa von Lorya, daughter of Duke Lorya and Crown Princess of the kingdom, being capable of healing wounds using the newly discovered and extremely advanced water-element spell spread throughout the academy. And even more than that, news of her compassion, kindness, and care she has for her classmates and friends, enough to worry about them immensely when they suffered from a scratch skyrocketed her fame even more.
On that day, the AvLFC welcomed many new members, including Marianne, who began spreading even more praises about the kind and gentle princess to her friends from other classes about how beautiful, powerful, and compassionate she was.
And Alterisa could only shout out her embarrassment and cringe in her mind or when she entered her dorm room without any of her friends.
