"Today, I'll be teaching you how to dance!" I clapped happily as Mary looked at me confused, Vincent looked at me like I was crazy, and Hero smiled awkwardly.

"Um... Dance?" Vincent asked.

I nodded, "Dancing will help you with footwork, flexibility, and focus!" I explained.

"Some prissy waltz?... Is gonna help with all that?..." Vincent asked doubtfully.

"Oooh, you think we're going to waltz? Ahahahah! Let me show you how to dance samba," I said with a snap of my fingers.

My outfit was now a lightweight blue dress and the samba music played, shocking the three knights.

"Flare? Let's show them how we do it," I giggled.

"Of course, Princess,"

-------------------

The three knights stood there dumbfounded as the watched the princess dance with speed, precision, and grace.

Her feet were too fast to follow, her body fluid but snapped perfectly to the strange beat of the music they've never heard of before.

Spinning intensely but still maintaining focus on her partner, maintaining focus on the steps, and the beat.

Arian who had been wandering around the field came across the sight and was amazed. He watched the scene with great intrest.

He got closer and watched the princess and her spirit dance to the strange beat like flickering flames.

Then he started to match their movements to the beat of the aggressive music and thought if he could do it as well.

'It sure looks fun' Arian thought to himself.

When the princess dipped she saw Arian standing there in amazement.

"Arian!?"

-------------------

"Huh?" Flare exclaimed in confusion as he looked up from me and saw the peach haired knight.

Mary and Hero looked to their right and saw Arian watching with them. They were so wrapped up in watching me that they didn't even notice Arian.

Vincent looked to his left and missed Arian completely, who was right next to Vincent on the right.

"Where? I don't see him-- GAH! SWEETPOTATOESANDRYE!!" Vincent screamed when he saw Arian on his right.

"Sweet potatoes?" Laughed Mary.

"And rye," added Hero who was stifling his laughter but doing a bad job at it.a

"Shut it the both of you! I'm just hungry!" Vincent scolded, extremely embarrassed.

"Arian, what are you doing here? How long have you been there? Are you alright?" I asked worriedly.

The music was loud and and consisted of beat drops and loud trumpets, I worriedly searched his face for fear and trauma but was shocked to see that he was perfectly fine!

"What? I'm fine, Princess. Is that the new exercise we're going to practice?" He asked me in intrest.

"Huh?" I asked as he seemed genuinely interested.

"Arian... Come here for a second, I'll teach you some steps," I said, still slightly confused but decided to test my theory.

"Alright, just step to the beat. One, two, three, spin, repeat," he agreed as I nodded my head to signal the music.

I pulled him and we started to do the steps on beat.

"Alright good, now we'll do two, three, four, two, three, four, spin, listen to the beat now," I said with an awkward laugh.

I started signaling my spirits to turn up the music.

"Start," I said as he focused solely on the steps and didn't even care about the blaring beats.

"Arian, I want you to focus on the music-- JUST the music and tell me what you hear okay?" I asked excitedly.

"Oh, alright," he responded.

I signaled the spirits and they started of with a strong trumpet but Arian didn't flinch and instead nodded his head to the beat of the drum!

"It's nothing like I've heard of before, I think I got the beat down," he said seriously.

"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!" I exclaimed, jumping up and down, squealing and laughing uncontrollably.

Everyone except my spirits looked at me like I was crazy.

"Arian! Do you know what just happened? The music was loud!" I explained as he looked at me confused.

"It was a bit loud," he said confused.

"Princess... Are we? Missing something?" Hero asked, equally confused.

"Alright! One more time," we repeated the dance and every beat was accompanied by a loud cymbal but Arian was too distracted to hear it.

"Arian, you did it! You're not afraid of the cymbals anymore!" I clapped as he looked at me in disbelief.

The three other knights quickly understood what I was talking about and congratulated Arian.

"Good job, Arian!" said Hero.

"I knew you could do it!" Mary said cheerfully.

"I guess I can't call you a wimp anymore," laughed Vincent.

"I-I did what?" Arian asked bashfully.

"Come with me," I said, dragging him back to the staircase.

"Play a song in your head, Arian, and think of the cymbals as the beat," I said.

"... Alright... But... Could you do it every 3 steps?" He requested as I happily obligated.

He took a deep breath and hopped three steps. I banged the cymbals and he didn't flinch! In fact he became faster, he was turning up the tempo.

He reached the grass panting as we all clapped and cheered.

"You did it, Arian! You made it!" I cheered.

"I-It was thanks to you, Princess," he blushed.

"We should celebrate!" I suggested happily as they all cheered.

"Now go do 100 laps while I prepare your surprise. In the pool. And you better be done when I come back," I smiled threateningly as they groaned.

I left Lumiere to count their laps and started baking.

"Now what should we make?" I ask my spirits except Lumiere who was in the field.

"Cookies!" Harley and Aerial suggested.

"It's to unhealthy," I smiled sadly.

"Banana cake?" Asked Rafaela and Drake.

"Still too much sugar," I said, thinking.

"How about some carrot cake?" Roxas and Glade asked.

"Can we make anything without sugar? Maybe something savory," I sighed.

Flare and Sylar looked at eachother, "Snowing chicken. It's simple and delicious," they smiled.

"Is that... Offensive to a chicken beast?" I asked carefully.

"Of course not. We've seen a cow eat steak and a pig eat pork what's a chicken eating fried chicken," Flare smiled like the perfect servant he was.

"Should we make a back up dish?" I asked as everyone nodded immediately.

"Definitely," so we made ginataan gulay. Basically vegetables with coconut milk.

The spirits helped me in preparing the vegetables and meat, frying, cooking, plating, and everything was done pretty quickly.

When we arrived at the field, the knights had completed the exercise and were famished.

They changed their clothes and ate like they were starving. They practically were.

"Is it really ok for a chicken beast to eat chicken?" I asked, genuinely curious.

"Well, I'm not a chicken. I'm a beast man," explained Arian.

"Yeah, know what a mage is, Princess? Same thing technically they're animals but they eat meat, like every other animal that tops out on the food chain," Vinny explained.

"You'll learn this in more detail in the academy, Princess, please don't ask us difficult questions," Mary laughed nervously.

I laughed as we enjoyed the meal.

After that Arian improved immensely and showed the greatest potential.

Me and Arian sat alone in the forest in the middle of a thunder storm that made him flinch a lot.

"Close your eyes, Arian, and focus on my voice and words," I said as he quickly obeyed.

"We are in the midst of one of nature's symphonies. Don't focus on the thunder, listen to the pitter patter of the rain, on the leaves, wood, ground, the chorus of birds chirping in defiance, and make your own song," I said calmingly.

He started humming.

"Now when the thunder strikes, that is your drum. Your beat," as I said that thunder struck and Arian didn't flinch.

I smiled and hugged him.

"I'm proud of you, Arian," I said as he hugged me back.

"Thank you, Princess... For everything..."
