"You've been hiding a familiar from me all this time, Snowflake? I'm a little hurt," Victor frowned.
Snow smiled slightly.
"But it's only fair. Since I haven't told you either. Ursa, lend me your strength," Victor's silver armor turned into a thick leather tunic and a bearpaw appeared on his face.
Snow was shocked as the two clashed using their claws.
Snow was starting to worry. If she couldn't out strength her father then she was going to out number him.
'Alistair, is there a way to borrow strength from all the familiars at once?' she asked telepathically.
Her father struck before Alistair could respond, almost getting a scratch on her.
'No, we can only lend you strength one at a time. But to switch from one familiar to another will drain your energy and might cause you to tap into your life force,' Alistair explained.
If that happens Snow would cough up blood and lose.
Snow was too busy thinking to attack and her father was taking full advantage.
"You're not taking this seriously, Snowflake," he grinned, going for her side.
"Bonnie!" She called as her armor changed into a lightweight tailcoat, colored a light blue, white, and black.
"Two? Two familiars?" Victor asked in shock.
Snow disappeared into a migic circle. Like a rabbit hole she teleported behind him and almost got a cut before Victor grabbed her by the arm and tried to scratch her arm.
Snow roared and Victor was blown back. She was actively switching between Alistair and Bonnie.
But she only had 3 switches left before she would start coughing out blood.
"Let's make it count, Alistair," she sighed.
Snow was having a hard time going on the offense.
Snow threw twin blades at Victor as he doged them. They came back around like a boomerang but Victor knew it was coming.
Snow used another switch to use Bonnie's teleportation blessing.
She moved so fast that Victor was starting to get dizzy from the light of the magic circles and speed of Snow.
Snow closed her eyes and used her second switch. She roared, also sending a blinding light.
Victor was dizzy, disoriented, and slightly blinded.
With one last switch she gained Silver's blessing and restricted Victor with enchanted chains. The chains would release spikes and wound Victor.
But before the chains could even touch Victor he sliced the chains and regained focus.
"No!" Snow exclaimed. She couldn't switch her blessing anymore and she was running extremely low on power.
She could taste the blood in her mouth as Victor attacked her relentlessly.
"It was a good try, Snowflake. But you're still too young to challenge your father," Victor smiled, successfully kicking her down.
Snow tried hard to swallow the blood coming up.
Suddenly a loud caw was heard and a flaming bird came down and knocked Victor back.
"A... Familiar?" Snow asked, shocked.
'He's a friend, Snow. One that will help you win this battle,' Silver told her.
"I am the only one who can replenish your power source. If you agree to be my master, I will serve you till the day you are no more. I am Pheneus," the phoenix bowed.
Snow grinned her fox like grin, "Let's do it, Phen," she bowed as she felt her energy come back.
She was surrounded by the flame of the phoenix as her white dress from Silver turned into an orange and gold hanfu.
Victor tried to corrupt the flames of the phoenix with his fox fire but Snow's fire was stronger.
"Divine fire, hell's punishment," Snow chanted as the flames phoenix wrapped around Victor and he couldn't escape.
He screamed in pain as he started to bleed.
"Enough!" Snow shouted worriedly.
She didn't know that the phoenix's fire could be so powerful.
The burns left on Victor didn't heal immediately.
"I'm so sorry, father! I didn't know it was this strong!" Snow rushed to him worriedly and tried to heal him.
"..." her father didn't say a word.
"Snow, you won!" the twins suddenly came up and hugged her from both sides.
"You were really cool," Leonard smiled.
"Sister is so powerful!" Dean gushed.
"How does she have 4 familiars?" Liam asked in confusion.
"This is quite surprising. We've never seen someone quite as powerful as the Princess," Lennon smiled.
"Your daughter is a little much, don't you think, Lilian?" Claudia laughed.
"Are you alright, Victor?" Lilian asked worriedly.
Again he refused to speak. "I warned you against it, didn't I?" Lilian sighed.
"I'm so sorry, father," Snow a apologized again.
Victor stood up and hugged his daughter.
"Why couldn't you just stay my little girl for just a bit longer?" he said in a low tone.
Snow pat his back. "I'm still your little girl, father. Just not so little anymore," she laughed.
Victor's eyes welled with tears. He didn't want her to grow up so fast. She was even more powerful than he was now. And that meant great danger would follow her relentlessly.
"I see..." he said, his voice cracking slightly.
"The preparations will be made after your birthday, Snowflake. You've won," Snow wiped a tear from his face and gave him a small kiss on the cheek.
"I love you, father," Snow smiled.
"I love you too, Snowflake..." he laughed.
-------------------
Father threw an after party celebrating my win.
"Lennon, I swear, you will not touch that cookie. Over my dead body." Father threatened.
I did bake cookies and father was hogging all of them.
"It's just a cookie, Victor!" Lennon whined trying to steal one from father.
"Then get another cookie! I brought plenty of others!" Father shouted.
"But I want those onesss!" Lennon whined again.
Mother came and got one from father without trouble.
"It's delicious you know?" my mother taunted King Lennon.
"Um, King Victor, may I... Have one? I-If it's not too much trouble," Eliza said shyly.
Father had a soft spot for young girls since they reminded him of me.
He hesitated a bit then gave her one.
"Thank you!" she gushed.
Then she started to head to king Lennon.
"Ah! What a loyal subject I have!" king Lennon smiled almost taking the cookie.
"Perona!" Father summoned his ice spirit and she obediently took the cookie and ate it herself.
"Not fair, Perona!" Lennon complained.
Perona only rolled her eyes and dissappeared.
"I like father's spirits," I giggled.
I saw my four knights socializing with the Duke, sir Charles, and miss Emily.
"Snow~ can you summon one of your familiars? Pleaseeee?" The twins begged.
"Yes, sister! Please show us!" Dean also begged.
"It would be nice to meet one," Leo supported.
I sighed, "Alright, which one?" I asked.
"The fox!"
"The phoenix!"
"The lion,"
"The rabbit!"
The four of them said in unison.
"The phoenix is clearly cooler than a rabbit, Reinel!" Renèe huffed.
"No way, I want to see the lion," Leo glared.
"I want to see the fox though!" Dean pouted.
"The time rabbit is more interesting," Reinel said, crossing his arms.
"Maybe you should have Harley sort them out," a familiar voice whispered beside me as I jumped.
"Roxas! You scared me!" I said irritatedly.
"Bored again I presume," I laughed lightly as he grabbed a chair and laid his head on my shoulder.
"Yeah..." he sighed.
I never understood why Roxas could come out on his own accord unlike my other spirits who I have to summon.
Roxas was also easily bored all the time. But when I visit everyone else has their own hobbies.
"H-Harley?" Dean asked going pale.
"Who's Harley?" The twins and leo asked curiously.
Leo has only ever met Roxas. Same with the twins.
"My transformation spirit," I answered.
"You mean your inner-- Oof!" I quickly elbowed Roxas' stomach before he could finish.
Poor Dean was already pretty traumatized by Harley after a few more emotional string pulling by Harley.
"Princess," Duke Everheart called.
"Hm?" I asked before father and king Lennon blocked him.
"Ben, why don't we go over to the foods table and you can try more Sterlean dishes," Father suggested.
"The Princess--," The Duke started before being interrupted.
"And why don't we talk about your son! I bet he and Leonard would make great friends," Lennon said leading him away.
"Greetings--," Elliot tried to approach us before uncle Liam led him away.
"Have you met Emily yet?" uncle asked as I laughed.
But, running past all the obstacles the little lady side stepped uncle Liam, slid under the two king's noses and curtsied in front of me.
"H-Hi! My name is Alexandra Everheart! May I join you?" She asked, panting, her eyes sparkling with admiration.
"Roxas? Why don't you head home?" I said gently.
He grunted in disagreement.
I kissed his head as he sat up straight.
"Fine..." he agreed before disappearing.
"Why don't you sit next to me, Alexandra?" I smiled.
"Yes! You were so cool! You defeated father so fast it made our heads spin!" She gushed.
I saw the Duke give her a thumbs up as she returned it with her own determined look.
I laughed at the adorable father daughter pair.
"Have you met my brother?" she asked excitedly as the four boys simultaneously spat their tea and choked on their cookies.
"Snow! Did you know I learned so much in the academy!?" Dean said, he was practically screaming.
"R-Right! Tell us more, Dean!" Leonard said stiffly.
"His name is Elliot," she explained before Dean started shouting about his classes and how his favorite was botany.
"That's very nice, Dean," I smiled, laughing really hard on the inside.
"I-Isn't Alexandra so cute?" My mother suddenly said, carrying Alexandra's chair.
"Yes! Very! Now let's go style your hair, darling!" Queen Claudia said, trying to drag Alexandra away.
"Wait," I said calmly as the two queens stopped in their tracks.
"It seems that the Everhearts are quite popular," I giggled.
"I have meetings with children my age twice a month in the castle if you'd like to chat there, Alexa, can I call you that?" I asked sweetly as she gushed.
"Of course! I'd be so happy to join you, Princess!" she exclaimed as the two queens sighed.
"Can I bring my brother?" she asked slyly.
"Of course," I said before the two queens ran off with Alexa in a panic.
The four boys banged their heads on the table as the cups jumped from their saucers.
"Another one..." they all sighed as I just laughed it off
