Review: Once again I felt the story goes downhill midway. I got bored near the end and seems too rush. ML is OP type while MC is nothing. She can't do anything except giving positive vibe and pure feeling that's mentioned in every chapter. At first she was portrayed as timid that's inline with her background story. But then after her problem is solved, and got into dating phase, seems like she didn't do anything. MC become a flavor or add on in between ML conflict. The story starts with MC working in bakery. Then her stepfather came. It was revealed MC run away from home for a year. She work at bakery and was helped by the owner. She is around 16-17 yo. MC mother was dependent to MC father. Then MC father left them. Not sure if he cheated and divorced or died. It was mentioned he is actually a good father to MC but not a good husband. But then he never show up. MC mother got depression, she will hit MC when she got frustrated. Then she move to new city and marry a surgeon. The surgeon already has a son. MC mother tried to please the stepson so she keep preferring the stepson and asked MC to keep studying so she won't become embarrassment. Then MC mother hit MC at new year. MC run away from home saying her mom found new home but it's not MC home. The stepfather asked MC to go home. I don't know why but I felt he is a bit scheming. It repeatedly said he never care about MC. They are like a stranger. He just love MC mother and will take care of her but he won't bother MC. And I think that's the trigger why MC mother tried to please the stepson and the stepson bully MC. MC refuse to go home. She went back to bakery. Then the owner said MC mother also come with her stepfather. MC ride a bike to the train station. She fell down and cut her eyelid. Then she saw her mother from far. Her mother keep crying. The stepfather saw MC but he didn't say anything. Here's why I felt he's scheming. He agreed with whatever MC mother asked but never really want it to be fulfilled. He know MC mother felt guilty and want MC to came back. But he just leave it be, asked a few questions to show his effort then leave. After that, MC phone connected with ML. ML is a young national teacher in ancient era. When MC sent a text, it become letter to ML. ML got a pendant from criminal who he killed. He always saw illusion of different world from child. No one knew or saw it. Then he found MC letter and interested to find out. MC bestfriend suddenly never reply MC. So she went to her best friend aka same city as her mother. The one who physically bully the bestfriend is B and C. A and D mocked and humiliated the best friend. A said she didn't know that B and C bullied the bestfriend. A didn't know about this. B got angry and fight with C because C hook up with her boyfriend aka D. B exposed their affair until D transferred school. C retaliate by exposing B bullying. B was jailed. Then C want to hit MC. She suddenly got controlled and choke MC. At the same time ML also felt suffocated. MC was saved by a boy. MC then pretend to faint so it look like C hitting MC. MC report C to the police. MC mother come out again and support MC. MC still refuse to come back. MC bestfriend move abroad for her treatment. Both her parent resign.
