After two weeks Lily had finished enchanting all the objects the duke had given her. She had the butler bring them with her for breakfast one morning so she could give them back to the duke and explain their uses, and she had done just that.

Lily walked into the dining room and the butler sat the small chest on the table next to the duke as he inspected every one of them thoroughly. He thanked Lily for her efforts and praised her for being able to accomplish this many new enchantments in such a short amount of time. It took all of his willpower to keep a calm face as she explained the enchantments she had created herself. Something he thought was impossible was solved easily by his brilliant daughter. She managed to come up with things he had never even heard of before.

A compass that could locate anyone you were searching for. A ring that could make someone practically indestructible with a small amount of mana. A bag that could hold limitless items and be carried easily. A sword that could cut through meddle armor easily. Two daggers, one that could hide the wielder's presence and another that could paralyze a target with a small scratch.

He had been testing them for the last few months and couldn't find anything lacking about them. He decided that the only thing wrong with her enchantments was that they were too powerful. She would have to make them weaker if they were to be used in the army. He felt reassured that she was right about them having only one wielder. He had a few of his knights try to use them and they only acted as normal weapons as if they were not enchanted at all.

Since her main goal was to eventually sell these to the kingdom's army, he thought it best to prepare some for the king himself before they started mass-producing them. Arthur specially ordered a golden ring with a red jewel. Instead of a bag, he prepared a golden chest that was small enough to be easily carried on future trips the king would take. His final gift was a golden sword that was crafted just for the king. He had decided it would be best if he brought a gift for the young prince as well so he had another smaller sword crafted.

As soon as the items arrived he gifted them to Liliana and told her what enchantments he wanted her to add to each item.

Lily applied the same enchantment to the ring that she put on the duke's ring and her brother's purple jewel. She made the chest lighter and able to hold a large amount of objects as well as making sure only the king himself could open it. She made both swords durable enough that they wouldn't break and sharp enough to cut through raw iron. Once she was satisfied she gave them back to her father to give to the king. He explained that she wouldn't have to worry about anything and he would personally give them to the king himself. She tried offering Drago to help him get there but he insisted that he would need to use a carriage for show.

Later that day...

The duke walked into the king's throne room. A few servants followed behind him with the items that he had been preparing the last two weeks. Each was wrapped in cloth of the finest quality to be given to the king.

"Ahhh, it hasn't been that long old friend and you've already come to visit me again. I hope you've come to only discuss good news."

"I've brought you a few gifts that I'm sure you'll like. A lot of good things have been happening in the Kingsley estate."

"Well, why don't you show me what you have brought."

At the king's words, each servant took a step closer to the king and unwrapped the gifts as the duke explained.

"My first gift is an enchanted ring made solely for his majesty. Your magic will create a barrier around your body to protect you from magical and physical attacks. The second is a chest that can hold an outrageous amount of belongings and will only open with your hand. My third and final gift is the finest sword this kingdom has ever seen. It's durable enough to not break even with your strongest attack and sharp enough to cut through iron armor."

Arthur watched with a grin as the king's face turned from excited to shocked to thrilled. The king grabbed the sword and examined it closely.

"I've never heard of the enchantments you speak. It's quite hard to believe. May I ask how you acquired such ancient relics?"

"Liliana created them herself. It seems she has taken an interest in enchanting and has quite a few fascinating ideas. She told me herself that she was hoping to mass-produce enchanted items for the king's army. Although she strictly claimed that she would only sell them to you."

"Did she now? It seems your daughter is more amazing than I first thought." the king said as he couldn't take his eyes off the sword.

Arthur then gave the king the sword he had made for the crown prince. And even showed his enchanted gear to the king. Their conversation goes over future advancements and possible battle strategies. They decided on the type of enchantments that would help their army grow stronger without relying on the enchantments too much and the king promised to pay the lady heavily for her hard work and achievements.

It was dark before the duke left and the king was beyond excited for the future to come. He was also very glad he had made her the princess and further queen of his nation before anyone else got their hands on her. He would make sure to keep her safe and pure and he was sure his son would feel the same way.
