I walked down the halls in search of my brother. Ever since he made fun of me for wanting to study enchantments I had made it my mission to use him as my testing dummy. He hated it but it was hilarious for me. I found my brother talking in a crowd of people with Chris. I didn't recognize most of the people in the crowd but ignored it as I walked up to my brother in confidence holding a small box.

"Oh brother dearest."

I called out in the sweetest voice I could manage. Trying my best to keep a smirk off my face. He was already aware of the newest project I had been working on and was no doubt not looking forward to when I finished.

"Liliana, what are you up to now?"

"Making accusations has always been your flaw dear brother."

I gave him a fake pout that did little to break the judging look he was sending me.

"I finished the design Robert asked me to make for the tournament and I need to test it before I can hand them over. I was hoping you could spare some time for your favorite sister."

"Your my only sister. Why can't Christopher ever help you test out your projects?"

"Because hurting a prince would be a capital offense."

He looked offended for a moment.

"But its ok to hurt your own family?"

"You've never actually gotten hurt during any of my experiments. My enchantments are practically flawless."

I smiled brightly at him with begging eyes.

"Almost flawless, but fine. I'm in the middle of a tour so you'll have to wait."

"Im quiet curious sir Alexander, wont you let us watch?"

A grinning boy with long red hair stepped forward. He had a long sword strapped to his hip. His uniform was similar to ours but the colors were green. Two boys stood beside him looking at me curiously.

To his right stood a shorter boy but still taller then me. He had short golden hair with one long braid dangling out of the hood. His uniform was white but he wore a hoodie underneath his blazer that covered most of his head from view.

To his right was a boy with short blue hair and pretty blue eyes that seemed familiar to me somehow. His blazer was blue. Alex looked back at the boy who spoke before addressing his sister again.

"Liliana please greet his highness Lucas Flourisha, his highness Noah Harmonia, and his highness Ezra Azuretha. They are here for the school tournament and will be staying here until the tournament is complete."

"A pleasure to make your acquaintance. My name is Liliana Kingsley. Daughter of Duke Arthur Kingsley. I hope you all enjoy your stay here while it lasts."

The blonde finally spoke up as he inspected me.

"You said you made something for the tournament?"

I smiled at him as I nodded my head yes.

"Liliana is the best enchantress in the nation, maybe even the world."

Chris spoke as he wrapped an arm around my waste. Not liking the way the other princes tried to study her right in front of him.

"Enchantress?" Spoke the blue haired boy. I looked over to see a confused look on his face. I rolled my eyes at Chris as I laughed lightly.

"I don't have the official title yet."

"Liliana is single handedly responsible for most of the enchantments used by the Luminara kingdom at the moment."

"Well shes certainly the prettiest enchantress I've ever seen." Lucas commented while sending me a wink. Chris glared at him before looking over to Alex.

"Im sure we have time to spare for one practice round."

Alex groaned but after some begging and promises for a new dagger he agreed. The rest of the group didn't follow. Just the four princes and Alex followed the young noblegirl to the training fields.

When they arrived at the arena that was prepared for the tournament Lily and Alex stepped onto the platform while the others stood back to watch. Lily walked over to Alex opening the box before helping him put the bracelet on his wrist.

"Each small stone has its own enchantment that will protect you from one attack and then it will deactivate. There are eight small stones so that means you should be able to take eight attacks without damage. The large stone in the middle is enchanted to heal the wearer once the match has been completed."

I started to walk to the other side of the stage while my brother inspected the bracelet.

"Why only eight attacks?"

"It came down to supplies and practicality. Not many people could take multiple attacks head on and still be able to fight. My plan was so that no one got injured, but the devise can't stop the opponents from continuing to attack once the shields have been used up so I added a healing enchantment to be safe."

"Let me guess you want to test the healing enchantment as well..."

I smiled at him before lifting my hand and throwing three wind blades his way. I could compress the air enough into thin blades that could cut through trees like butter. He managed to dodge two but the third one hit its target. Before it could come in contact with his skin, his body started to glow a faint orange. I looked down at his bracelet and noticed one of the stones was no longer glowing and looked dull once again. I smiled up at him and said.

"Well it looks like the first part is working! Let's make sure it can hold up on other attacks as well."

Alexander looked up at his sister and frowned. He pulled his sword off his hip and pointed it in her direction.

"I hope you didn't expect me to just stand here and let you attack me?"

I held up my hand and created multiple ice knifes in the air above my head. Alex and me always spared when we were younger. Although he's never beaten me, I had to give him points for never backing down.
