"Dream Camel Peak?"

Qin Shu was puzzled. Where was this place?

Fortunately, Wen Chi hadn't been completely unreliable this time. As the voice transmission talisman burned out, a golden pattern gradually emerged in the air.

Qin Shu stared at it for a while before finally understanding—it was a map of the Xuantian Sect.

Her first instinct was to take out her phone and snap a photo. But when her hand reached for her waist, she remembered she was now in the cultivation world.

In this world, she needed something like a "memory stone." Since she didn't have one, her only option was... to memorize it.

Each main peak of Xuantian Sect had many secondary peaks surrounding it.

Given how quickly the map was fading, it was impossible for her to remember everything. She could only prioritize the route to Dream Camel Peak.

When the faint golden glow finally disappeared, Qin Shu sighed. It seemed like she'd need to check the Mission Hall next time to see if they had any maps of the sect.

She pulled a small turtle out of her storage ring and infused it with spiritual energy. Once it grew to the size of her palm, she stepped on it.

Since she was afraid of heights and the turtle was too small, she used spiritual energy to secure herself firmly to the turtle while keeping it flying very low.

The moment she lifted off the ground, Qin Shu couldn't help but feel a bit excited.

She was really flying!

In the modern world, people had gone to great lengths to defy gravity, but in the cultivation world, all you needed was spiritual energy.

Even though she was flying low and slow, it was still flying!

She had just flown down the mountain when her spiritual energy ran out.

Qin Shu sighed in resignation, dismounted the turtle, stuffed it back into her storage ring, and continued walking toward the Transmission Hall of Dream Camel Peak.

However, after walking a short distance, she began to feel something was off.

Why did this place seem familiar? The cool, dense forest and lush greenery reminded her of where Rui Ming had taken her last time.

If she wasn't sure yet, walking a few more steps confirmed it. A towering hall came into view.

This time, Qin Shu made a point of looking at the plaque above the hall, where three large characters stood out:

"Transmission Hall."

Last time she was here, she hadn't even looked up and had assumed this was the Task Hall.

Who would've thought that a single character's difference could signify such a vast disparity? Compared to this, the outer sect's Transmission Hall felt like a joke.

No wonder so many people fought tooth and nail to enter the inner sect. The difference in resources wasn't minor.

This time, coming from the inner sect, no one stopped her. She easily made her way to the hall's steps.

The hall doors opened automatically once again. Without hesitation, Qin Shu stepped inside.

Meanwhile, Wen Chi suddenly remembered he'd forgotten to tell Qin Shu the entrance incantation. He quickly chased after her.

But to his surprise, when he arrived in a flurry, all he saw was Qin Shu's back as she walked in.

Wen Chi was utterly baffled. How did Qin Shu manage to get in?

This was Qin Shu's second time here, so she was more experienced. After bowing three times to the portrait, she found herself in that same magnificent room.

She smoothly picked up the Transmission Manual, sat cross-legged, and closed her eyes. Soon, a golden light appeared in her mind again.

In her hands, a faint purple light sword materialized once more. The techniques were the same—straight thrusts, upward thrusts, downward thrusts, exploratory thrusts...

Since Qin Shu hadn't formed her sea of consciousness yet, her mental strength, though slightly better than a typical ten-year-old, couldn't hold out for long.

She opened her eyes, rubbed her throbbing temples, put the manual back, and carefully cleaned the cushion and table before exiting the hall.

By the time she left the Transmission Hall, it was already dark outside. The sky looked ominous, as if a storm was brewing.

Having recovered most of her spiritual energy, Qin Shu brought out her little turtle again and stepped onto it.

However, halfway through her flight, the weather suddenly turned. Fierce winds and rain lashed out violently.

Qin Shu barely had enough spiritual energy to manage one thing at a time.

Seeing herself about to fall, she gave up resisting and used all her spiritual energy to wrap herself in a protective barrier. She shut her eyes, bracing for impact and hoping it wouldn't hurt too much when she hit the ground.

But instead of pain, she landed on something soft and fluffy. The rain and wind seemed to stop as well.

Confused, Qin Shu opened one eye and was greeted by a vast expanse of white.

Feathers?

A clear crane call reached her ears, and she immediately understood. Overjoyed, she exclaimed, "Senior Brother!"

In response, the crane let out another call, this time brimming with delight.

The white crane flapped its wings, carrying her above the clouds.

In her mind, Rui Ming's voice echoed, "Junior Sister, where are you headed? I'll take you there!"

Qin Shu was thrilled. If only her other two senior brothers could see—this was what a great senior brother looked like!

"Senior Brother! I'm heading to Lingxiao Peak!"

"Lingxiao Peak? Isn't that where Master Lingxu's cave is? Outer sect disciples aren't allowed to enter."

Qin Shu realized he probably didn't know she'd joined the inner sect, so she explained, "Senior Brother, I just joined Master Lingxu two days ago."

Rui Ming's speed was incredibly fast. In no time, they arrived at Lingxiao Peak.

Following Qin Shu's directions, Rui Ming stopped outside her cave dwelling. Transforming back into human form, he pouted and complained, "Junior Sister, how could you not tell me such great news? I've been thinking about you these past few days!"

Seeing his puffed-up cheeks and baby-fat face, Qin Shu felt as if she'd committed a grave offense.

She quickly clasped her hands in apology. "Senior Brother, I just got brought to Lingxiao Peak two days ago and haven't had time to figure things out myself. Please don't be mad. Next month, when I receive my spirit stones, I'll treat you to some spiritual fruits!"

Rui Ming finally looked at her. "I'm not mad. I was just worried you'd forget about me."

Having few friends and few disciples his age on Dream Camel Peak, he often found himself alone.

Qin Shu quickly reassured him, "Never! Senior Brother, you're the best! How could I forget you?"

Recently, she'd been so busy that she hadn't had time to play with Rui Ming. Given that they'd only met once, she didn't feel comfortable troubling him too much.

Satisfied, Rui Ming smiled again. "Next time you want to visit Dream Camel Peak, just use the feather I gave you to call me. I'll come pick you up! With your spiritual energy, you'll never make it there alone. Falling from the sky hurts!"

As the two were chatting, Wen Chi suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

He glanced at the two children below and clicked his tongue. "No wonder you're so late. Turns out you were out playing with a little crane."

The tone of his voice made it sound as if she were some sort of two-timing playboy.

Rui Ming, who knew Wen Chi, frowned and corrected him seriously, "Senior Brother Wen, Junior Sister wasn't playing with me. She nearly fell from the sky, and I just happened to catch her and bring her here."
