"Do you think they'll call today?"

"I don't know"

"Aren't they all like super hot?!"

"Sure"

"Don't you think—"

"Nessa!" I looked up to glare at her, leaving my breakfast momentarily forgotten. "Could you please stop talking about them and eat your food already?!"

"Sorry, it's just I really liked Leo. I really hope I get to see him again."

Ever since we got back to the hotel yesterday it's all Nessa and Sofi talk about, I just sat back and listened to them as they gushed on and on about how cute they were. Diego had been quiet the whole drive and when he finally dropped us off at the hotel he left with a quick goodbye... maybe he was just as annoyed as I was.

"I'm sure he'll try to see you again Nessa" I said to her. "And if he doesn't call it's his loss"

"Still talking about the hot guys, I hear?" Sofi chuckled as she walked out in the balcony where we were having breakfast. She took a seat across from me and grabbed a plate full of fresh fruit.

"Your sister is...not me." I responded.

"Have they called?" Nessa grabbed Sofi's cell phone and looked at the screen, only to set it back on the table with a disappointed look. "They haven't."

"Be patient sister, they'll call" Sofi said with a smug look.

I ignored her comment and got back to finishing my plate of scrambled eggs. I felt glad to finally have some peace and quiet, but I felt their eyes on me and I once again looked up to look at them staring at me, almost as if they were analyzing me.

"What?" I asked, irritated.

"You seem unusually quiet today, is something wrong?" Nessa said with a raised eyebrow.

I shrugged "I guess I'm just tired, we got back to the hotel very late yesterday."

"You don't look tired" Sofi shook her head. "You look like you're thinking about something...or someone."

"I'm not thinking about Santiago" I said, knowing that's who they were assuming I was thinking about.

"We never said anything about Santiago" Nessa gave me an evil grin. "But since you brought him up, then you are thinking about him."

I couldn't help but smile at my friend; she sure knows how to trick me into saying things I don't mean to say. And the truth is, I have been thinking about him, but not in the same obsessive way they have been gushing about the other guys. Santiago has something about him that interests me and it's not the fact that he looks like a Greek God, there's something mysterious about him. Something that makes me want to know him better and see what he's all about.

"He looks like a pretty cool guy"

"A pretty cool guy that looked very interested in you" Sofi piped up.

"His brother Joel also looked interested in you" Nessa scrunched her nose as she thought back. "But I don't like him...he's really cocky."

"Tell me about it"

"How cool is that?! You have two brothers interested in you, that'll bring a lot of drama. But it's very romantic" Sofi sighed dreamily.

But it's not like we're goanna stay here forever, if one of us has a romance with one of those guys it'll just be a little fling. We can't have anything serious with them and either way I don't think they're interested in having a serious relationship, Sofi and Nessa better be careful with those guys.

I was about to give a sarcastic reply to Sofi, but the ringing of her phone cut me off. She picked it up and looked at the screen, her eyes widening in shook.

"It's Daniel!" she exclaimed excitedly.

"Put it on speaker!" Nessa cried, pushing her chair closer to Sofi.

Sofi took a deep breath and pressed the speaker button. "Hello?" she answered, her voice taking a slightly high-pitched tone.

She's nervous.

I slapped my hand over my mouth to keep myself from laughing out loud, while she and Nessa glared daggers at me.

"Sofia? This is Daniel speaking."

"Oh hey! What's up?"

"I was calling to ask if you girls are busy today?."

Sofi looked up at us for an answer.

I shrugged while Nessa shook her head, meaning we weren't doing anything.

"No not at all. Why?" Sofi responded.

"We were wondering if you girls would like to come with us to the Plaza, there's a Carnival there today."

I slight grin spread across her face "That would be cool, we're down."

"Awesome! We'll pick you girls up at around six-thirty?"

"Tell him to pick us up at the small ice cream shop across the street from the hotel!" I whispered to Sofi.

"Yeah sounds good" she replied to him. "But can you guys pick us up at the small ice cream shop that's across the Mexicali Hotel?"

"Of course, see you tonight then."

"See ya!" she pressed the end button and let out a small scram.

"I can't believe they called!" Nessa said grinning like a maniac, she stood up from her chair and jumped up and down like a little girl. "We have to pick out really cute outfits; I want to look super hot!"

"Maybe we should invite Diego to come along" I suggested, standing up with my plate and putting it in the little room service cart the staff left for us. The girls followed behind.

"Uh, after the way he acted yesterday? No way!" Sofi flopped down on her bed.

Diego's attitude has been a bit weird, it seems as though he doesn't like the guys very much. What if he's jealous? I do have to admit I have noticed he has a crush on me but I've done nothing to lead him on. I've only treated him as a friend. Maybe Sofi's right and I should not bring him along, I don't want him to be all moody around us.

I watched Sofi and Nessa as they pulled out a few different outfit choices and sprawled them out on the bed. The chattered away, choosing what to wear and I laid down on my bed letting them do their thing.

I'm going to see Santiago again tonight; hopefully I'll get to know him a little better. But I have a feeling Joel is going to be hitting on me just like he was at the restaurant. I'm not usually the type of person to dislike someone right away without knowing them but Joel is just too cocky and annoying, and it's obvious he's a ladies' man.

"Gabb's you better get up and look for something to wear!" Sofi told me with a serious look on her face.

"It's still very early" I whined.

"So?!" Nessa turned to me with a crazed look on her eyes. "These guys are HOT; we have to look extra good for them. You don't find guys like these everywhere!"

Sofi nodded in agreement.

Oh boy, this is going to be a long day.

"I'll take you home if you don't leave me at the front door" Nessa sang out loud as she leaned over the bathroom sink and applied a few layers of dark mascara. Sofi stood next to her checking herself out and dancing along to the music.

This is what we always do whenever we're getting ready to go on a date, we crank up our stereo as loud as it can go and share the restroom so we can all be ready in time.

I had already finished putting on my make-up, so I looked around the room for my sandals and tried to look for anything I might need and put it in my purse.

"Does my make-up look good?" Nessa walked up to my face and closed her eyes in order for me to have a better look at the work she had done on her eyes.

"Perfect."

"We have to leave in about ten minutes" Sofi informed us, hopping out of the restroom in one leg as she attempted to slip on her shoes.

"I'm ready to go" I said, walking over to the large stereo and turning it off. I went around the room and turned off all the lights while my friends tried cleaning all the mess we left on the bed.

After the room looked decent enough we all walked out of the room, Nessa and I walked ahead as Sofi stayed back to lock the door. We were greeted by the woman in the front desk and I smiled politely back at her.

"We should wait for them in one of those tables that are right outside the shop, so we can spot them right away and they won't have to get out of their car" Nessa commented as we crossed the street over to the shop.

And just as Nessa suggested we all took a seat in the small table. I drummed my fingers impatiently against the small table while Sofi and Vanessa looked around, hoping to find the guys.

"I'm nervous" Sofi muttered. "I hope I don't make a fool out of myself in front of Daniel tonight."

"You'll be fine"

Nessa laughed at her sister's petrified face. "Chill Sofi, everything will be fine. There's no reason to worry we're just going to have a good time with the guys."

I couldn't suppress the smile on my face; this is the first time I have ever seen Sofi freaking out about going on a date. She's usually very confident and relaxed around guys; there must be something special about Daniel.

The sound of a truck screeching down the street caught my attention and I watched as a black Cadillac Escalade parked right in front of us, the dark tinted windows were up but you could still hear the blaring music coming from the inside of the truck.

Everyone that was standing close enough seemed to be staring at the truck with curiosity. It's not every day that you see a nice and expensive truck driving down the streets of Acapulco.

The windows rolled down to reveal the faces of Daniel and Leo in the back seats, Joel in the passenger seat and Santiago being the driver.

The girls and I quickly stood up and made our way over to the truck.

"Nice wheels." I whistled out as I took in the large vehicle in front of me.

"Thanks" Santiago gave a stiff nod my way and turned back to look straight ahead.

"You girls ready to go?" Joel smirked, leaning against the window and looking me up and down, checking me out.

"Yes" we chorused.

Daniel got out of the truck and pushed the seat he had been seating on forward so that we would be able to get in the seats at the very back, after we all piled in Santiago drove away from the little shop.

"Were you girls waiting for a long time?" Leo asked turning back to look at us.

"No, we only arrived a few minutes ago" Nessa answered.

I leaned back against my seat as the rest of them talked about random things. Santiago was the only quiet one, I couldn't stop myself from glancing at him and he seemed to be ignoring the rest of us as he looked at the road.

He suddenly looked up to the rear view mirror and we locked gazes, his eyes held bewilderment and a bit of shock, he looked back at the road but I caught him looking up every once in a while, probably checking if I was still staring at him.

"You guys must be pretty loaded to have a truck like this" I said out loud, never taking my eyes away from the mirror.

Joel smirked "We have a lot of money, sweety. You'd be surprised."

From the corner of my eye I saw Santiago shake his head slightly at his brother's choice of words. I decided not to say anything to Joel.

After a few minutes we finally arrived at the Plaza which was full of people walking everywhere. There were couples walking hand in hand down the sidewalks and sitting in small benches, families stopped every once in a while to let the kids get on the rides. The plaza was full of games and rides for people to enjoy, and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

Santiago went to the parking lot which was full of guards trying to make it easier for people to find a good parking space. One of the guards motioned for Santiago to follow him and took us over to the very back, which seemed to be empty of cars.

Daniel and Leo gave us a hand as we climbed out of the truck and then we all made our way over to the center of the Plaza where there was a ticket booth.

"I want to get on the rides, it's been a while since I came to a Carnival" Nessa said excitedly.

Nessa was walking next to Leo while Sofi was engrossed in a deep conversation with Daniel, leaving me hanging back with the two brothers who didn't even talk to each other.

We all got in line to buy some tickets and both Leo and Daniel bough tickets for Nessa and Sofi, which I thought was a nice thing for them to do. When it was my turn to buy some tickets both brothers stood on either side of me.

"Yo pago por ella" they spoke at the same time to the lady in the booth. (I'll pay for her)

The woman looked between both of them, unsure of what to do in this awkward situation.

"It's fine" I pulled out my small wallet from my purse. "I can pay for myself."

Santiago nodded understanding and stepped back, while his Joel hesitantly did the same thing but he was glaring at his brother.

"Van ser dos-cientos pesos" the woman said to me. (Your total is twenty dollars)

I handed her the money and stepped away so the guys could buy their own tickets. The rest of our group were standing off to the side waiting for all of us, when we were all finally together we walked around the Plaza trying to decide which game we should get on first.

"Let's go to the bumper cars!" Leo smiled grabbing Nessa's hand and leading her away from us.

"We should go in the Haunted House" Daniel suggested glancing down at Sofi.

She turned to look at me, I guess asking if it was okay for her to leave me alone. And truth is I wasn't really okay with her ditching me and leaving me alone with the two brothers but as I glanced at her I knew she really wanted to have some alone time with Daniel. So I did what any good friend would do.

"Go ahead; I'll just get on another ride."

As soon as they left us alone the atmosphere around me got really tense, I stood between Joel and Santiago waiting for one of them to say something.

"Do you want to get on the Ferris wheel?

I glanced up at the large Ferris wheel and noticed there weren't many people on the ride and the line was fairly short.

"Sure" we started walking towards the line but I noticed Santiago wasn't following us. I stopped and turned back to see him standing alone, I walked back to where he was and stood in front of him.

"Aren't you coming with us?"

He glanced back where his brother was standing and then looked back at me. "Um, I don't know..."

"Are you scared? I asked in a teasing tone.

"No" he frowned slightly, stealing another quick glance at his brother who stood a few feet from us.

"Then let's go!" I grabbed his hand tightly and dragged him over to where his brother was waiting for us. Joel's excited face changed to a sour look as soon as he saw his brother was coming along with us.

I bit my lip in anxiety as we walked forward in the small line, the worker standing behind the gates held up two fingers meaning we had to give him two of our tickets. We each handed them in and walked up the small steps, the guy opened the small door of the compartment and helped me get in first. Joel and Santiago followed suit and we were all crowded in the small space, there were two benches on either side so I quickly took a seat in the one on the right side. I secretly begged for Santiago to take a seat in the small space next to me but Joel beat him to it, forcing Santiago to sit by himself on the other one.

The cage swayed slightly as we all tried to settle down comfortably, it started moving up as each little cage started filling up with people. When we finally reached the top our little cage started swaying right and left.

"We can see everything from up here" Joel said, glancing down at the people below.

Suddenly the Ferris wheel started going full speed and I gripped tight on the small railings for support. I glanced over at Santiago who was leaning back on his seat as if this was a normal thing for him.

"This is a lame ride" Joel frowned. "Maybe we should make it more entertaining" he stood up and swayed his body back and forth along with the compartment, trying to making it go faster than it was supposed to.

Oh no. This is not good.

"Joel sit down, you can't do that"

He looked down to smirk at me. "Oh c'mon Gabby, are you scared?"

"Joel sit the fuck down, you're scaring her" Santiago spoke for the first time, looking super pissed.

"Chill bro, I'm just trying to have a little fun." He responded calmly.

The cage was swaying faster than it was supposed to and I looked down to see people staring up at us. The Ferris wheel worker was waving his hat over his head trying to get our attention.

"STOP DOING THAT AND SIT DOWN!" he yelled in a frantic voice.

"Joel!" Santiago tried pushing his brother down back on the seat, but failed. "Sit down."

"Don't tell me what to do." He scowled down at his brother.

"THEN STOP FUCKING AROUND AND SIT DOWN" Santiago growled, standing up in front of Joel.

Joel suddenly snapped and pushed Santiago away.

Santiago quickly recovered and swung his fist smashing it into his brother's face. Joel groaned in pain and started trying to swing back a few punches at Santiago but he was quick to block them.

"Guys stop it!" I screamed trying to step in between them, but it was impossible with the small amount of space we had.

They ignored me and kept swinging at each other. I heard the small cage let out a screeching unusual noise , making my heart race in panic. That doesn't sound good.

We're goanna die.

We're all goanna die.
