So I don't think it's that bad but there are some spots where it might be a little graphic. I don't think it's that bad but what do you expect? I did say she used to be an assassin. Well anyways, enjoy the story!

The first thing that happened in the morning was me hitting the ground, hard. I groan and roll on to my back to look at a laughing Jacks. Anger takes me over and I get up immediately. Jacks sees my face and pales.
“You are so dead!” I say.
I rush towards him but hit a solid wall. Now I know what you’re thinking. No I didn’t hit an actual wall. It just felt like one. I look up to see a grinning Tristan.
“Now now Anna. It’s too early in the morning for you and Jacks to cause a ruckus. Besides,” he wraps his arms around me. “I wouldn’t want you to scrape that pretty little face of yours.”
I roll my eyes and slip out of his grasp.
“And it’s too early for your flattery.” I say.
I hear Jacks chuckle. Brock walks up to him and slaps him on the back of the head.
“Ow!” Jacks rubs the back of his head.
“Quit whining. It’s time to go training.” Brock walks out of the tent.
“You heard the man. Time to go.” Tristan takes my hand and drags me out of the tent. Jacks and Alex follow behind us.
“You can let go now.” I say.
“I can’t do that. I wouldn’t want my princess to trip and hurt herself.” He winks at me.
“Ok, I’ve decided. Your new nickname is Prince Charming.” I say.
Tristan stops and turns to me. He grins at me.
“I like it. Does that mean I’m your Prince Charming?” He wiggles his eyebrows.
“Please, I’m not some damsel in distress.” I say.
I walk past him and into the gym. I see Brock lifting weights. Everyone goes to their own little station. Jacks and Alex go to their booths while Tristan, Brock, and I start training in the gym. I go straight to the punching bag. I see Tristan out of the corner of my eye. He’s looking at me with some seriousness. He’s probably waiting for me to go crazy again. I really need to work on my temper.
Something all of a sudden knocks into me and I hit the punching bag. I turn around with a glare on my face. I find the culprit. Brocks standing a few feet behind me with a smirk.
“What the hell?” I yell.
“What? My hand slipped.” He says unconvincingly.
“The hell it did!” I say.
“What are you going to do about it?” He asks.
I was about to let my anger out on him but I stopped myself. I smirk back at Brock.
“I would fight you but I don’t want to embarrass you in front of these men.” I say.
His smirk is wiped off of his face and replaced with anger.
“Like hell you could beat me!” He yells.
“Oh, I know I can beat you.” I say.
“Fine! Let’s fight then. I’ll show you who’s more powerful.” He says.
“Gladly.”
We both move to the mat and take our stances. Brock rushes towards me right away.
“STOP!!” A voice says.
Brock stops right away and turns to the owner of the voice. It’s Officer Russell.
“There’s a mission. You all need to get to the helicopter right away.” He says.
He turns to me.
“Anna, I know you haven’t been able to work with them but I need you on this mission. You, Brock, and Tristan are going to be a team. Jackson is going to give you the weapons you need and Alex will talk you through the mission. Understand?” He says in a commanding voice.
“Yes.” I say.
“Alright.” He turns to Jacks and Alex as they come out of their booths. “Jackson, you equip them while I talk to Alex about the layout of the building.”
Jacks just nods and has us follow him to the booth. He gets a gun and hands it to Brock. Brock grins like a little kid. Jacks hands Tristan with small daggers with a bottle. He then looks at me. He seems to be contemplating about what to give me. He then turns around and hands me 2 swords. He then picks up a small knife but I stop him.
“I already have my own knives.” I say.
He nods and puts the knife back down.
“Brock, that’s the newest model. It can fire up to 10 bullets at the same time and constantly for up to 5 minutes. There’s plenty of bullets to last through this mission. If you hit the button on the side, you can switch the bullets to needles. The needles are there for when you want to take down an enemy quietly. Use them wisely because there’s only 8 sets there.” Jacks says.
Jacks turns to Tristan.
“I know you like to keep it simple so their just your basic hand knives but I gave you some poison to dip them in, in case there’s more enemies than we thought there might be.” Jacks then turns to me.
“Yours are just swords, but if you run into trouble, there’s a button on the handle. If you press it, the others will come rushing over to help you.” Jacks says.
I just nod.
“Do you stay behind?” I ask.
Jacks looks down.
“Yeah. I’m not ready to go out on the field.” He looks up at me with a stern look. “Yet.”
He’s determined to go on these missions. Is he trying to prove himself? Alex comes in and hands each of us an ear piece. He brushes my hand lightly when he gives me my ear piece. His face gets red and he just looks down and moves to the next person. He’s so cute! I’m going to have fun with him. Alex looks at all of us with a serious face.
“I’m going to direct each of you through the mission. Tristan, you’re the distraction. You need to cause an uproar but without being detected. Make it look like an accident and do it on the other side of the facility. I’ll show you where.” Alex turns to Brock and me. “You two will be together in the beginning. You need to sneak through the gate. Once inside, you guys will split up. Brock, you’re going to be a spy. I need you to find a uniform and go to the west wing. I’ll direct you. You need get information from the generals. They are all meeting up to discuss their next strategies. Anna, you are the most stealthiest. We need you to sneak into the vault without being detected. If anyone sets the alarm off, the whole operation is over. Be quick and quiet. You need to get the blue prints for the weapons they are making. Even though Jacks is a great maker of weapons, they still have some amazing weapons. We need to know what we are dealing with. Get the blue prints and once you do, let me know. I will tell the others to get out right away.” He turns to all of us. “Best of luck.”
Officer Russell rushes us to the helicopter and we take off. He goes through the plan once again just to make sure we understand our jobs. We arrive a few miles away from Spain. The meeting is taking place in France. We take a submarine and head towards France. Once we get close enough, we take little pods and go to the shore. We get a car and drive a few hours till we reach our destination. We stop about a mile away from the facility. Tristan goes first and goes the opposite way Brock and I go. He has to give a distraction before we can sneak in. Alex gives us the ok and we move in easily. One guard spotted us but Brock shot the needles at him and he went down quietly. Once we get inside, we split up.
Alex directs me through the building. I keep making turns and stop right before I have to turn around another corner. The door is around this corner but there’re guards.
“Alright Anna. This is where you need to be especially quiet and fast. Take them out right away and hide their bodies.” Alex says in my ear.
“Got it.” I say.
I take out my little knives instead of my swords. I need to do this quick and not make as much of a mess as possible. I step around the corner and the guards notice me right away. They take out their guns, but before they can shoot, my knives hit them both in the chest. The collapse right away and I run to them and make sure their dead. One is still alive so I stab him quickly. I look at the door and see a padlock.
“Alex. There’s a padlock. You got the pass code?” I ask.
“Yeah, it’s 93586.” He says. “Hurry, I see someone coming down the hallway.”
I take the bodies and drag them in with me. I close the door and hear the footsteps coming closer. They slowly pass the door and fade into the distance. I sigh with relief. I turn around to find drawers filled with documents.
“Which drawer Alex?” I ask.
There’s a pause.
“Alex?” I ask.
“I… I don’t know!” He says.
“What do you mean you don’t know?” I ask angrily.
“There wasn’t supposed to be more than a few drawers. I didn’t get this kind of information.” He says, panicking.
“Alright, calm down Alex. I’ll just search through them. Which documents do I need?” I ask.
“It has to say document 305. If you open it, it will have the blue prints of the weapons.” He says.
“Got it. How much time do I have?” I ask.
“I would say about 10 minutes. Tristan can’t keep distracting them. The longer he does it, the closer he is to getting caught.” He says.
I look through each drawer. They’re not in any kind of order. Or at least, not any order I can figure out. I’m halfway through the drawers when an alarm goes off.
“What the hell?” I say. “Alex, what’s going on?”
“Someone triggered the alarm.” He says, panicking again.
“Obviously. What happened?” I ask.
“Give me a second.” He says.
As I’m waiting, I look through more drawers and don’t find the blue prints, but I do find something else. I take the document and leave the room. I start to run back to the meeting point Brock is supposed to be at.
“Anna! Jackson’s in the building!” Alex yells at me.
“What?! Why is he here?” I yell back.
“He’s looking for his brother. He’s in the basement. I need you to go get him. Tristan almost got caught and left the building. Brock can’t leave because he’s stuck in the meeting.” He says.
“Alright. Direct me to him.” I say.
I go down multiple stairs and finally get to the basement. There’s many twists and turns and finally I see Jacks. He’s trying to open a door. He’s yelling something but I can’t understand. I get closer and hear what he says.
“Jason? Are you in there?” Jacks yells.
“Jacks! What the hell are you doing? We have to get out of here.” I yell at him.
I grab his arm but he rips his arm out of my grip.
“I’m not leaving without Jason!” He starts to cry.
“Anna, tell Jackson that Jason isn’t there.” Alex says in my ear.
“Jacks, Jason isn’t here. We have to go.” I say.
“No, I can’t leave him. He’s here. I know it!” He yells while crying.
“I told you, he’s not here! We’ll find your brother, just come with me. I promise we will find him.” I say.
Jacks looks at me for a moment before jumping into my arms and sobbing uncontrollably. I hug him back and whisper to him softly.
“It’s alright. We’ll find him. I won’t ever give up.” I tilt his head up to me. “You’re going to help me find your brother right?”
Jacks nods and wipes his tears.
“Good, we can work together and get back your brother.” I wipe away the last remaining tear and smile at him. “Now, let’s go. We can’t save your brother if we get caught.”
Jacks nods and I take his hand. He squeezes it tightly and we run to the first floor.
“Alex, I got Jacks. Where’s Brock?” I ask.
“I don’t know. I lost contact with him.” He says.
“Dammit! Alright, tell me where’s the last place you lost contact with him.” I say.
“He was last seen at the meeting point.” He says.
“Alright, I’m heading over there now.”
“Anna, I’m sorry… I-“ Jacks is interrupted by a gun going off.
I turn around to see soldiers with guns.
“Shit!” I whisper.
I turn a corner in time before another shot is fired. I turn to Jacks.
“I need you to go to the car. Tristan will be there. If I’m not there in the next 10 minutes, leave without me.” I take the document from my jacket and hand it to Jacks. “Here, take this and give it to Officer Russell.”
“But, what about you?” Jacks asks. His eyes start to water again.
“Jacks, I need you to be a man right now. You’re not a little boy anymore. You need to get out of here alive and win the war and get your brother back. Can you promise me that you will win this war?” I ask.
Jacks nods and tears stream down his face. I hug him and then quickly release him and smile at him.
“Don’t worry. I’m not so easy to kill.” I say.
Jacks doesn’t look as convinced.
“Now go.” I push him lightly.
He turns around and starts to run.
“You can’t die Anna!” He yells as he turns another corner.
I smile. Idiot, like I would let these lowlifes kill me.
Soldiers come around the corner. I take out my swords and smile.
“Ready when you guys are.” I say.
One guy fires right away but I block with my swords. Not even a dent. Wow! What are these swords made of? Another man charges at me. I dodge his attack and cut off his hand smoothly. He cries out in pain and I finish him with a slash across his chest. He goes down. More soldiers charge at me and I dodge as much as I can. I keep killing them but more and more keep coming. One knocks me down and I lose my swords. I look up to a well-built man standing over me.
“Finally got you!” He smirks. “It’s only because you distracted us by being a girl. Now it’s time to die.” He brings down his sword.
Before he makes contact with my head, he gets knocked over by a very big man. I notice its Brock. He grabs my hand and pulls me to my feet. He hands me my swords.
“Come on. We’re not out of here yet.” He says.
Brock starts shooting everyone and making a path. I kill the ones that don’t die right away from his bullets. We make it to the gate when all of a sudden, Brock gets shot. He falls to his knees and holds his side.
“Brock!” I rush to him.
He’s bleeding badly.
“Shit! I can’t believe they got me.” He says, weakly.
I look up to see a sniper. I take my dagger and fling it at him. Bulls-eye. I turn back to Brock. He’s barely conscious. I grab his arm and put it over me. I half drag him out of the gates and into the forest. I know we’re cutting it close to time. For all I know, Tristan and Jacks might be gone by now. I keep stumbling, trying to support both Brock and myself but I never fell. I see the car in the distance. As I get closer, Tristan sees me. His eyes go wide and he rushes towards me. He helps me with Brock and gets him in the car. In the distance, we hear helicopters.
“We have to go now.” I say.
Tristan nods and takes off in the car. We get to the pods safely and go to the submarine. Once we get to the submarine, Brock is rushed into the infirmary. They can’t do much until we get back so they just take out the bullet and stitch him up. Brock has lost consciousness.
“So Jacks, what happened with your brother?” I ask.
Jacks, Tristan, and I are in the infirmary, watching over Brock. Jacks looks at me sadly.
“He was taken. We were helping the military with weapons and as you know, Jason is a little better with weapons than I am. I’m still learning.” He says.
“We were ambushed on our way to another camp to give our weapons to more soldiers. We didn’t have many soldiers so they were taken out quickly. They took Jason and said I was useless and shot me. They thought I was dead but I was rescued in time to have a full recovery.” Jacks take a breath for a second. “Once I recovered, Officer Russell came by and offered to help me, if I helped him. They’re using my brother to make weapons. When you guys were going there to get the blue prints, I thought my brother would be there. So I snuck away with you guys but he wasn’t. It was just wishful thinking.” Jacks looks down.
“It’s ok Jacks. We will find your brother. I can promise you that.” I say.
“You don’t understand. I feel lost without my brother.” He says.
Kelsey’s face flashes in my head. I shake it off and look back at Jacks.
“I guess you’re right.” I say.
I notice Tristan staring at me intensely. I just brush it off and comfort Jacks as he silently cries.
>()<>()<>()<>()<>()<>()<>()<
We arrive at base and Brock is taken to the military doctor right away. We go back to our tent. We see Alex sitting there, waiting for us. When we walk in, he breathes a sigh of relief.
“Worried for us Alex?” I ask.
His face heats up and he looks away.
“N-No! I was just making sure we got what we needed.” He says.
I laugh and hug him. He stiffens and then I release him.
“You’re so cute!” I say.
“W-What?” Alex looks taken aback.
I laugh at him again.
“Yep, adorable. I know what your nickname is.” I say.
Alex looks at me, waiting for me to respond.
“Glitch.” I say.
“What? Why?” He asks.
“Because you’re a tech wiz but can’t even handle a little girl like me. It’s adorable.” I say.
“I can handle girls!” Alex yells.
“Really?” I say.
He realizes his mistake but it’s too late. I touch his chest and lean into him. I look up at him and smile seductively at him.
“Alex.” I whisper. “Want to play a game?” I ask.
He tenses up and his face goes red. I lean further, only an inch or two away from his lips. He starts to tremble and his face goes the darkest shade of red I have ever seen. I’m ripped away from him by a very angry Tristan.
“Prince Charming please, I’m trying to tease Glitch.” I say to him.
He turns to me and softens a little.
“Jeez Anna, you can’t just do what you please. We are men. If you do something like that, one of us might get jealous.” He winks at me but I can tell he’s being serious.
I just shrug and walk past all of them. I lie on my bed and sigh.
“Whatever you guys say. It’s not like I was serious.” I say.
My bed dips and I open my eyes to Jacks.
“Anna. You don’t like Alex, do you?” Jacks asks.
“Not in the sense you’re talking about. I like you guys but not like that.” I say.
Jacks faces falls a little. Why would he care? He thinks as me as his rival. If anything, he should hate me.
“I’m tired guys. Do you mind not disturbing me? I’m going to bed early.” I say, tiredly.
Jacks nods and leaves me alone. Tristan looks like he wants to say something but decides against it. Alex is still getting over the scene I just did. I laugh silently and fall into a deep slumber.
