I high-fived Nathan with my free hand as he set the last steaming hot latte onto the tray I was balancing in my other hand.
"Keep your hands on the tray princess." He quickly warned just as the tray slightly wobbled.
I quickly did and stuck my tongue out at him.
"You sure you got it?" He asked as I started my way out of the kitchen.
"Yeah, I'm not a klutz okay?" I defended.
"Yes you are, sweetheart." Nathan chuckled, causing me to shoot a glare at him.
"At least I'm not a faker-daker." I shot back.
"Your vocabulary is getting worse, we really do need to start you in some online-schooling." He shook his head.
"Lick me." I said, making a face at him.
"Gross." He retorted.
I simply stuck my tongue out at him.
"Would you stop doing that? You're not five." He gave me a look.
I opened my mouth but he quickly added. "And you're not Miley Cyrus."
I closed it and frowned.
"Since you can't twerk." He shot me a smug smile. "You'd probably fall over." He added with a chuckle.
I glared at him and set down my tray, marching up to him.
"Oh don't even go there buddy boy." I snapped in a low tone.
"Buddy boy?" He shot me an amused grin.
"You wanna see my amazing twerking?" I threatened.
"You can't even touch your toes." He laughed. "Don't embarrass yourself cupcake."
"I am tired of your doubts in me almost as much as I am of your food-fetish nicknames for me, so there is only one way to settle this." I crossed my arms and paused for dramatic effect. "A twerk-off."
He leaned back against the counter, crossing his arms too now. "Bring it."
I internally exploded in joy as he said those two iconic words, thanking the gods that my prayers to reenact Kirsten Dunst from Bring It On in a real-life situation had been answered.
"DUSTIN, TYLER, MAX, LANDON!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, causing Nathan to wince since he was right in front of me.
A few seconds later, I heard feet pounding towards the kitchen and all three boys almost fell over, stopping in front of me. Dustin walked in casually after them, avoiding their near dog pile.
"What is it?" Tyler asked, all of them looking at me expectantly, then at Nathan with confused looks.
"Did he-" Tyler and Landon started, glaring at Nathan.
"No, he didn't hurt me." I rolled my eyes at their barbaric behavior.
"Only your ego." Nathan muttered, causing Dustin to laugh.
My narrowed eyes jumped from Nathan to Dustin. "I taught you what that word meant so you do not get to laugh at that!"
Dustin abruptly stopped his chuckles of betrayal then.
"Why'd you call us here?" Tyler asked, impatient now.
"Because." I stated, before motioning them all to huddle around me.
They gave me skeptical looks, but came over anyways, Nathan left in the background.
I quickly explained my plan to them once they were all huddled around me. Before I was even done, they all burst out into laughter.
"You must be crazy woman!" Max hollered. "You think you could just smooth-talk us into your weird little dance-off just because you're the only female in this house?" Max yelled, the other boys nodding in agreement.
"I can't back down now! I need my supporting backup." I pleaded. "Come on, please?" I pulled my golden manifestation face. It wasn't just a simple puppy dog face. No, I had practiced this face in front of the mirror countless times to use it at rare times like these.
"Well other guys do it...." Max trailed off, buying into it.
I tried not to break into a victorious smirk too soon and upheld my manipulative expression.
"Stop! She's tricking you!" Landon and Tyler warned, pulling him away from me.
I shot them both instant daggers, causing them to take another step back.
"So am I gonna get a twerk show or not?" Nathan finally asked, causing us all to snap our heads towards him.
"No." All the boys immediately said at once, causing me to scowl at them. Wussies...
"Not from you idiots. I was talking to Skylar." Nathan shot me a wink, causing my face to redden.
Tyler took a threatening step towards Nathan while Landon growled. Yes, he growled.
"Woah, relax. No need to go all Jacob Black on me, I was only kidding." Nathan shot up his hands in surrender.
"Plus, she'd probably dislocate her hip-bone or something." Nathan added with a laugh.
My jaw dropped at his rudeness.
"Woah woah woah woah woah woah." Landon said, taking a step towards Nathan with his hands up. "Woah." He added after, for effect.
I rolled my eyes.
"I'll have you know that Skylar and I are world class twerkers, so I'd watch what you say." Landon spoke in a cocky tone.
I grinned excitedly. The pot had resumed its stirring.
"Wait, you twerk?" Tyler asked, looking at Landon strangely.
"Yeah. I do." Landon crossed his arms and stuck his chest out.
"Bro, that's not cool." Max told him, shaking his head. Tyler nodded in agreement.
"Hey, don't hate just because you can't twerk." Landon shot back at Max.
I looked between all three boys. Was this conversation really happening?
"Guys, what's twerking?" Dustin asked, looking up at all of us confused.
They all spared a glance at him, before continuing their argument.
"Who said I can't twerk?" Max said, stepping up to Landon.
"So you're saying you can twerk too now?" Tyler asked, looking at him in disbelief.
Max shrugged casually. "I know a bit." He said nonchalantly.
"But I thought you just called it uncool." Nathan spoke for the first time, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah, you hypocrite." Landon added, narrowing his gaze at Max.
"It's my first time admitting it, okay?" He defended himself.
I was slowly starting to think that these guys were undercover girls... Sort of like White Chicks, except the other way around.
I was beginning to grow quite frustrated with these idiots.
"Alright, now that we've all admitted that we can twerk, why don't we-" I started, only to get cut off.
"I didn't admit anything." Tyler pitched in.
"Okay, since two of you bozos have admitted that you can twerk, why don't we use this as the moment where we put on the performance of our lives and prove Nathan wrong." I explained.
Landon and Max stared at me in silence.
"I don't need to be proven wrong, only by you sweet-cakes." Nathan smirked at me.
Tyler started to dramatically gag.
"Oh come on, it's not like you have anything to lose at this point." I rolled my eyes at the guys, ignoring Nathan and my brother.
"Why not." Max shrugged before stepping beside me.
"The things I do for you." Landon sighed, before stepping over to our side and causing me to grin wickedly.
"Wait." Tyler spoke up.
"What? Are you gonna confess too now?" I put a hand on my hip.
"No, I don't want my little sister twerking in front of three grown men." Tyler said with gritted teeth.
Oh dear.
"Look Tyler, I can twerk if I want to, you can't stop me." I crossed my arms.
"No, I'm not allowing you to twerk." Tyler said, before marching up to me and grabbing my wrist.
"Fine but can I at least watch them twerk?" I pouted, pointing towards the two twerkers.
Tyler gave us all odd looks, before rolling his eyes. "Just keep it PG." He said to Landon and Max, before starting to head out of the kitchen.
"Wait, take him too." Nathan gently nudged a distracted Dustin towards Tyler.
Tyler looked up at Nathan. "You're seriously gonna watch this?" He asked with a raised brow.
"It's been a rough day." Nathan shrugged.
Tyler simply shook his head and tsked at all of us, before taking Dustin's hand and walking out of the kitchen.
Once I was sure he was out of sight, I walked over to Landon and slipped out his phone from his pocket stealthily and scrolled through his songs. I was surprised when I saw that he hadn't changed his password that I had set for him.
"Ready boys?" I asked, pushing myself up onto the kitchen counter and motioning for them to join me.
They all snapped their gazes up towards me in surprise.
"You little rebel." Max shook his head, before climbing up onto the counter next to me.
I was happy he was acting like his normal self again. I didn't want to take credit, but I think my talk with him had given him some sort of hope.
"I'm untameable." I said with a smirk as I pulled Landon up next. It was a miracle that I didn't bust my arm, considering I had no upper body strength.
"That's not a word either princess." Nathan said now, looking up at me with an amused smirk.
"Oh shut up, you're not my dictionary." I snapped at him.
"Princess?" Landon said, before starting to giggle like a little school girl at the nickname.
"I may not be your dictionary, but I wouldn't mind if you explored me." Nathan said in a seductive tone, winking at me in the end.
I glared at him as my cheeks betrayed me by heating up at his words.
Bastard!
"Okay that's enough, I'm gonna gag." Landon cut in. "That's my babyhood virgin best friend don't forget."
My cheeks heated up and I smacked Landon, feeling Nathan's burning gaze on me.
"Enough. I came here to twerk." I stated dramatically.
"No, actually you came here because you had no choice, but if that's your real reason then--" Max started, before I cut him off.
"Shut up and dance!" I yelled, before pressing the play button on Landon's phone.
The beginning of Don't Drop That Thun Thun Thun came on and they all shot me skeptical looks.
"What? It's the only song you can twerk to." I shrugged, before motioning the other two to dance with me.
I was suddenly surprised at how good they could twerk.
We all jumped and turned around as soon as the beat picked up and I twerked my arse off right then and there.
I started laughing at how hard they were going at it. I threw my hands up and then snapped them down at different times, trying to match their complicated moves.
It was sad to admit that the other two were better than me at this.
I suddenly turned around and started doing a different dance. The look on Nathan's face was priceless.
Pure shock.
I started giggling and wasn't really watching where I was dancing. All of a sudden my foot slipped at the edge of the counter and suddenly I was falling forward.
Right when I was sure my face was gonna hit the floor, I felt Nathan's arms envelope me, catching me right on time. My arms automatically flew up around his neck.
I looked up in surprise and relief to see Nathan's gorgeous eyes staring down at me in amusement and care.
"Told you that you'd fall over." He spoke in a soft teasing voice, smiling down at me.
"But you gotta admit, I am pretty good." I winked up at him.
"You sure bout that?" He teased.
"Your face said it all." I smirked back up at him. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go high five my main twerkers." I grinned up at him, before finding my balance and letting go of him.
I walked over to the two boys who had hopped off the counter now and a grin slowly crept up my face.
"Why's she smiling like that?" Max muttered to Landon under his breath.
"I never know. It's always the unexpected." Landon whispered back, keeping a cautious gaze on me.
"WE ARE DEFINITELY DOING THAT AGAIN!" I yelled, jumping up and down like a kangaroo on crack.
They both shared a look, before Landon shook his head and followed Max out of the kitchen.
"Hey man?" Max stopped and turned to face Landon. "Does your man pride hurt too?" He asked, placing a hand on his chest.
"Yeah bro." Landon agreed, before heading towards the TV with Max.
Nathan let out a chuckle.
"Where do you think you guys are going?" I called out, placing a hand on my hip, trying to look intimidating.
"Xbox." Max simply stated, not turning around.
"Your one and only girlfriend can wait, I believe we still have a conference to do." I smirked as they turned around and their faces fell.
"Just one game?" Landon pleaded with his golden manifestation face.
I had taught him well...
"It is Christmas." Max added.
"I think we could also use five minutes alone." Nathan spoke softly in my ear.
"Fine." I instantly cracked.
Damn Nathan and his effect on me.
Max and Landon grinned at me, before sprinting towards the X-box and taking out a huge stash of games.
"I knew I'd win you over." Nathan smirked at me as I turned back around.
"Oh get over yourself, it's Christmas." I shrugged.
"Mhm. So do I get another twerk show or no?" Nathan asked with an amused grin.
"I was thinking of something better." I shot him a secretive smirk, catching him by surprise, before madly dashing off towards his room.
It took him three seconds to process what was going on, before I heard his footsteps running after me.
"What are you guys, five?" Landon yelled after us.
"At least my girlfriend's not a gaming console." Nathan shot back, causing me to grin like an idiot at the mention of me being his girlfriend.
I finally reached his door and slammed it closed after safely getting in. I leaned back against it with all my weight, catching my breath.
I really did need to join a gym.
Now what?
"Open the door or face the consequences." Nathan spoke from the other side of the door in a deep, scary tone.
"I'll take my chances." I called back with an evil grin.
"Alright, you asked for it." I could hear the smile in his tone.
Oh crap. I forgot he's a highly trained kidnapper and can probably walk through the wall. Wait, only Chris Angle could do that. Or was that was a gate? There's also the possibility that Nathan's Danny Phantom.
My thoughts were cut off as I went flying forward and received a face full of carpet. I quickly flipped over to see the door wide open and my scary boyfriend standing in the doorway.
"Time to face the consequences." Nathan gave me a very terrifying smirk, closing the door behind him and walking towards me very slowly.
I quickly got up and scrambled towards the bathroom to lock myself in, but just as I reached for the handle, I was being pulled back.
"No!" I screamed dramatically as I was caged in the arms of Nathan.
Suddenly, I was spun around and pushed against the door roughly, but not enough to hurt. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you make a sandwich. Except the wall and Nathan were the bread and I was the nice hot falafel.
I stared up into his eyes which were only centimeters away from mine. I shot him a sweet smile, before scowling and then letting out a vicious growl. Yes I growled. I hope that scared him.
"That's cute babe." He smirked down at me. "Now, let's make the next five minutes the best five minutes." He shot me a dirty wink.
"Is that rhyme a challenge to a rap battle?" I exclaimed, ignoring his dirty plans.
"I really need to get you an English tutor." Nathan shook his head at me.
"Ooh, make sure he's hot." I winked.
"Oh I know he is." He grinned back at me. "In fact, I was nice enough to get you the sexiest tutor alive. Scratch that, the sexiest man alive."
I stared up at him with a raised brow.
"Now that the topic's up, why don't we start our first lesson." Nathan smirked down at me.
Of course only he'd refer to himself as the sexiest man alive.
"Everything that comes out of your mouth is going to be sexual for the next five minutes, isn't it." I stated.
"Sh, no talking. Just kissing." Nathan said, before finally placing his lips against mine in a short, sweet kiss.
"Mmm okay." I mumbled, before pulling us together again and getting lost in a better world.
After a few more kisses and roaming hands, we both pulled away and Nathan spoke.
"So, what's your plan?" He asked, his sparkling green eyes focused on me.
"What plan." I breathed out, still in a trance.
His face suddenly broke into a grin and he let out a chuckle. "The plan that you've been fussing about. Your little conference meeting." Nathan shook his head, biting his lip.
Great, now my attention was back to his sweet lips.
"Are you even listening to a word I'm saying?" Nathan gave me a look.
"Yeah." I lied, snapping my eyes back to his amusement-filled ones.
"What did I say then?" He raised an eyebrow, challenging me.
I hated it when people did this to me.
A long moment of silence passed as I thought hard, but my brain came up with nothing. I was suddenly reminded of all those times in class where the teacher would do the same thing to me.
"Fine, you got me. What was it you were saying." I sighed in defeat, breaking the silence.
Nathan shook his head at me disapprovingly. "I was saying, what's your plan?"
Oh. My plan... Wait, what plan?
"The one that's going to save my family and bring a happy ending to this story. Also the plan that I highly doubt will work." Nathan reminded.
Well that made two of us...
"Right. That plan. You'll just have to wait and see." I winked at him, before walking towards the door. "Plus, it's been over five minutes, I'd rather not have two boys burst in here with shotguns." I said, fearing that those boys would start hinting on what we were doing alone in a room.
"Well it's a good thing that I'm good at what I do." Nathan winked at me, before walking past me and out the door, smacking my butt on the way. "Oh, and you twerk pretty nice." He looked back and smirked, biting his lip and looking me up and down, before leaving.
My cheeks heated up as I stared after the Abercrombie model, left speechless yet again.
I walked into the living room to find all four boys sitting around the X-box, watching Max and Tyler verse each other.
"Where's Dustin?" I asked, looking around.
No response.
Of course. I walked my way over to them and stood in front of the TV, causing them all to look up and glare at me. They looked pretty intimidating.
I guess that's what happens when you try to get in between four devoted boyfriends and their girlfriend. The sad part was my own boyfriend was one of them.
"Where's Dustin?" I asked again, this time louder.
They all stopped glaring at me and looked around.
"I don't know, us two have been here the whole time." Max shrugged, motioning between Landon and himself.
"I haven't seen him, you know that." Nathan said, shooting me a dirty wink after when no one was looking.
I chose to ignore that.
"Tyler, weren't you with him last?" I asked my brother, placing a hand on my hip.
All of a sudden, his face contorted into guilt.
"Yeah, well when I saw these guys playing Battlefield, I kind of told him to go play something else, cuz, you know... He's too little to watch this." Tyler trailed off.
"You mean you basically told my brother to get lost?" Max yelled angrily, standing up abruptly.
"No! I told him to go play--" Tyler started to defend himself.
"Dude, he's only eight. You can't just tell him off like that." Nathan stood up now too, but his voice was calmer.
"I didn't--" Tyler started again, but no one listened.
"Did you check his room?" Landon asked me now.
I shook my head, before turning around and making my way there. I heard the others' feet trailing behind me quickly.
"Dustin?" I called softly, gently tapping on his door.
There was no reply. I creaked the door a bit open, before fully opening it, revealing an empty room.
"Fuck." Max swore.
My heart suddenly quickened. I spun around and pushed past the group of boys.
"Dustin?" I called out worriedly, anxiously walking around the apartment and checking each door.
"Dustin!" Nathan called out, panic in his tone.
I stopped in the living room, running a hand through my hair. Where was he? He could've wandered off anywhere. My heart wouldn't calm down until I found him. I had to find him.
"Where did you leave him last?" Landon asked calmly, turning towards a guilty faced Tyler.
"His room." He answered.
"He could be anywhere." Max swore again under his breath, pacing the room.
"It hasn't been that long, he should still be in the building." Nathan thought aloud.
I tried hard to think of all the possibilities of where he could've ran off to, before a light bulb went off in my head.
Wasting no time, I quickly started walking towards the balcony door.
I pushed it open and my heart leaped in relief and joy at seeing a curled up Dustin on the floor.
I quickly ran towards him and bent down.
"Dustin! We all were looking everywhere for you and couldn't find you!" I cried out, putting a hand on his back.
He suddenly looked up and my heart broke. His big blue eyes were wide and fresh with tears, his face red from crying.
I quickly pulled him onto my lap and hugged him protectively.
"It's okay, we're all here for you. I'm here." I whispered, trying to calm him down.
"I-I-I--" He stuttered, sobbing at the same time.
"Shh." I rubbed his back. "Just wait for the tears to leave, then tell me." I whispered.
I quickly scooped him up in my arms and stood up, turning around. I abruptly stopped as I realized all four boys had been standing at the door and watching me.
"Are you like a teen mom or something?" Max was the first to speak.
"Nope, I'm just that good." I smirked back at him smugly, before pushing past them and getting back inside.
I hadn't missed the look on Nathan's face. Shock, admiration, and pride. Guess I was doing pretty okay at the whole girlfriend thing.
"So, how about I make us both a cup of chocolate milk and we sit down and talk about what happened." I asked, pulling back slightly to face the kid.
He slowly nodded.
I gave him back a smile and made my way into the kitchen.
"Alright, I'm just gonna sit you down right here so you can see how a professional makes chocolate milk." I said teasingly, placing him on the counter.
That caused a small giggle out of him, which was good.
I turned around and mentally face palmed. I had forgotten all about the drinks and chocolate milk I had prepared for my little 'conference'.
I picked one up and sadly realized that they had all gone cold. Maybe I could warm them up... But those spoiled boys would want it fresh.
I stood there with a frown, before another light bulb went off in my head. Man, I am on a roll today.
I quickly dumped all the lattes and milk down the drain, silently apologizing and sending prayers to the children in Africa, before turning to get out all the essential ingredients to make eggnog.
Yeah that's right, I was making eggnog. And this time I knew for a fact that I wouldn't blow up the kitchen because it was a family recipe. Sort of. My grandmother had made it once, then promised to give me the recipe. But she always forgot to so I had stolen it from her. It was that good...
"Okay, change of plans." I said, spinning around to face Dustin. I was surprised to see the whole gang strolling in now. I spared them a look, raising an eyebrow, before turning back to Dustin.
Like a pack of lost wolves...
"You up for some eggnog?" I asked him with a grin.
Dustin's face lit up and he nodded excitedly.
"Okay, just give me ten minutes and I'll have five cups of fresh eggnog." I smiled wickedly, turning to my little group of lost pups.
"You mean six cups." Landon corrected.
"No I mean five. Tyler doesn't deserve any." I turned to smile evilly at my older brother as he shot me a glare.
They all ended up agreeing and so I turned to start my delicious creation.
"Wait, are you sure you wanna do this?" Nathan asked, stepping into the kitchen and standing in front of me.
"Yeah I'm sure." I spoke, looking at him oddly.
He leaned in a bit, causing my stomach to flip like a pancake. "Remember what happened last time?" He whispered.
I jerked back, pulling an incredulous face. "I'm not gonna blow up the kitchen!" I yelled, offended.
"I know that princess." He spoke calmly, putting his hands up.
Landon snickered. "Princess." He mimicked, before laughing full on. I spared him a glance, before snapping my eyes back to my silly doubtful boyfriend.
"But I'd rather not want to clean up after your mess. Again." He spoke.
"Look, I may not be as good as those kids on Master Chef Junior, but I can sure as hell make amazing eggnog." I defended myself. "Even Tyler thinks it's delicious, right?" I turned to my sibling for backup.
"It's the worst thing on the planet." He spat out. This was his way of getting back at me. What a child.
"You know you love it!" I yelled, pointing at him.
"Hey, calm down babe--" Nathan started.
"No!" I snapped. "Stop saying that! You act like I'm a volcano that's gonna explode, stop it! I'm sick of this. You don't want my eggnog? Fine, go sulk with Tyler about it, but I'm making that eggnog whether you like it or not." I finished my justice speech by crossing my arms and standing my ground.
There was a moment of silence as all the boys stared at me in fear, which only pissed me off further.
"PMS." Max muttered quietly under his breath to the others, finding that as the only explanation.
I shot him an icy cold glare and his eyes widened as he realized I had heard him. Without another word, he quickly turned and bolted.
I really did feel like their master now.
"Okay, you can make your eggnog." Nathan said quietly. "But if you need any help..." He trailed off.
"Get. Out." I said through clenched teeth.
Landon took the risk of silently chuckling at my anger, but quickly stopped when my gaze snapped towards him.
"Someone woke up on--" Tyler started to mutter.
"Get out!" I yelled, causing Tyler and Landon to jump, before turning and speed walking out.
I was surprised Nathan was still here. I also remembered Dustin was there too, but I knew the kid wasn't afraid of me.
"Hey, you ok--" Nathan started to ask, before I glared at him.
"Go away." I said stubbornly. "Just let me cook in peace."
Nathan started towards me and I backed away, holding my hands up. "Nathan just leave, I'm not in the mood, just--" I was cut off as he grabbed my waist and pushed me into the pantry, shutting the door behind him.
I gulped.
"What did I do?" Nathan asked softly, taking another step closer until our bodies were touching.
"What?" I asked, clueless.
"You just snapped back there, I'm sorry if I said anything." He explained.
I sighed and couldn't help but smile at him. "It wasn't you." I corrected.
"Then what?" He asked.
"I don't know." I said quietly, shrugging. "I guess stress, I just had to let out everything and I didn't mean to take it all out on you." I looked down shyly.
"It's okay, I think you just need a break." Nathan gently slid his hands down my arms.
"There's no time for a break. I have to make Dustin and everyone else eggnog, and then I have to talk to Dustin about what happened and then I have to tell everyone my plan--" I started rushing out but was suddenly cut off by a pleasant surprise.
My eyes fluttered closed as I felt Nathan's soft lips meet mine and all the pent up tension melted away from my body, leaving me embracing the beauty of the present.
I pulled away as Nathan looked down at me, his hands loosely grasping my wrists.
"Now, I'll tell you what. Why don't you go in my room and get some sleep, I'll take care of Dustin. When you wake up, you could make your amazing eggnog and then tell us all about your genius plan." Nathan explained, smiling down at me.
My heart melted at how caring he was. And I'd never expect any less from him.
I smiled up at him in admiration. "Nathan, I'm fine." I spoke.
"Skylar, you need some rest. You've been doing nothing but trying to fix everything for the past few days. I think you deserve a break." Nathan pulled me into his chest, kissing the crown of my head.
I smiled into his shirt. He was right, like always. I could really spend some time relaxing. I suddenly got an idea.
"Fine. But I have one condition." I said, tilting my head up to look at him.
"And what's that?" He asked with a smirk, tightening his grip on me.
"You watch a movie with me." I grinned at him.
He chuckled, his chest vibrating. "Whatever you say princess." He smiled down at me, before pulling away and taking my hand, leading us back into the now empty kitchen.
We passed by the living room to see Tyler and Dustin in an intense match of Battlefield, and the rest of the boys watching the screen like it was their all time favorite movie. I was glad to see Dustin with a big smile on his face.
"Come on. If we sneak past them now, they won't follow us." Nathan whispered to me, tugging my hand.
I laughed at that and let him drag me to his room.
After snuggling up in the blankets with Nathan and his arms wrapped around me with my head on his chest, we hit the play button.
"What movie did you pick?" I asked as the screen lit up.
"You'll see." Nathan smirked down at me, before returning his gaze back to his laptop which was set in front of us.
I let out a small laugh as the intro to White Chicks came on.
We watched the first fifteen minutes of the movie in silence, letting out a few laughs here and there. I was glad Nathan wasn't one of those people. The ones that always talked during a film. I hated those kind of people. No offense, Landon...
After fifteen minutes, the door to the bedroom creaked open, before Dustin slowly walked in. I smiled down at the kid.
"What are you guys watching?" He asked as he walked up to the bed and tried to peer at the screen.
"A movie." Nathan answered simply. I don't think it'd be appropriate to say the name to him out loud.
"Oh." He said. "Can I watch it too?" He asked quietly.
"Can he?" I asked, turning to Nathan. I wasn't sure on the rating.
"If you make sure to cover his eyes at the bad parts." Nathan answered with a smile.
I nodded.
"Come on then!" I exclaimed to Dustin, who excitedly crawled up and took a seat beside me. We watched the movie in silence then.
Thankfully, Dustin wasn't one of those people either.
"Hey what are you guys watching?" Landon said as he entered the room, Tyler and Max behind him.
"A movie." Nathan replied with the same tone, not bothering to explain any further.
"Oh." They all spoke.
Déjà vu right there.
Except they didn't ask, no. They all just jumped onto the bed, Landon sitting next to Dustin, Tyler laying on the pillows behind, and Max deciding to leap onto our legs.
I shot Nathan an annoyed look and he just chuckled at my expression.
Unfortunately this time, Landon was one of those people.
"Hey Nathan. I don't like the way you're touching my sister." Tyler piped up.
Seriously? He only had his arms around me, it's not like he was feeling me up.
I turned around to shoot him a glare and opened my mouth, but Nathan beat me to it.
"And I didn't like the way you treated my younger brother, so I guess this makes it square." Nathan retorted, before turning back around and continuing to watch the movie.
That caused Tyler to grow silent.
I smirked up at my boyfriend.
So the next ten minutes were spent on everyone trying to concentrate on what they were saying in the film and Landon constantly asking questions and saying things he thought were funny. The only person that laughed was Max, and that was when Landon had called one of the main characters hot.
Giving up on trying to watch the film, I started playing with the hem of Nathan's shirt.
I suddenly gasped as I felt Nathan's hand slide up my thigh under the blankets.
"You know how distracting that is when you do that?" Nathan whispered quietly into my ear.
I held back a shudder.
"As distracting as this." He spoke, before sliding his hand further up my thigh, to my waist, and then dragged up my shirt just high enough so he could trace his fingers along my hip bone.
My heart was racing at what he was doing and it was hard to hold back all those shivers.
"Nathan, stop." I whispered sternly, grabbing his wrist.
"Are you sure that's what you want?" He whispered, his hot breath on my neck.
He easily continued rubbing circles up and down my side, definitely not helping my heart rate slow down.
I suddenly got a plan as I shifted closer to Nathan. Next, I placed my hand on his thigh, causing his hand to freeze.
Payback's a bish.
Then, I slowly started to slide my hand upwards, finding the hem of his shirt and tracing my fingers along his toned abs.
I grinned in triumph as I felt his body shiver. Then suddenly, I slipped two fingers on the inside of his waistband for his boxers, dragging them along his front slowly.
"Sky." Nathan warned, causing me to smirk.
"I'll stop if you stop." I offered, whispering up to him.
He reluctantly pulled his hand away after a while, causing me to take my hand back too.
As we watched the rest of the movie in silence, Landon having finally shut up once he had found out the main character was a dude, I felt Nathan's hand find mine and he entwined our fingers together, resting our hands on my lap.
I smiled and leaned into his chest, enjoying the rest of the film. Who knew that I would be able to hold such a feeling of content right here. I was surrounded by my loved ones, old and new, and I had a plan to get us out of this situation so we could take the last step over to complete freedom. The best part was, I ended up getting a perfect boyfriend out of it all.

A/N
Hey guyzz... I know it's been a while and for all you nagging Nancy's out there, let me explain myself. It's a little hard to work on a story when you're home alone with your bro for a month.. I could sort of relate to Skylar in this chapter with how she was getting all stressed, except my reasons are different. Now I'm not gonna write this whole a/n about how hard life is, but please respect that and also thanks for waiting.
Now, ERMAGERRDDDD I THINK SKYTHAN JUST WENT TO SECOND BASE :O
*2019 update: HAHAHAHA. SECOND BASE. HAH I WAS SO INNOCENT. And I hope u guys are too okay love u bye
Also, I asked you guys if I should write my a/Ns in bold or not, AND IM SO CONFUZZLED which is why I have random letters/words in bold.
So I've come to a decision... Bold. Yep. From here on, it's gonna be bold. All the cool kids are doing it so why not. Swerve.
AnyAMAZE
Thank you for all the votes and reads you guys are super cool ANDDD also I finally got around to putting up all the banners in a bunch of chapters o if you sent me a banner and I didn't use it, check in one of the chapters and I also put your username there. Hey waddya know, another long a/n. sorry couldn't help it. So the last dare winner is........ EVERYONE! Ok ok I know I gotta pick someone but seriously, all of your guys' dares were HILARIOUS, I've never had to make such a hard decision in my life.. Ok so the winner is.. @blueskyXD who said:
Well i did the dare. I was at a park where lots of people arr hanhing and i had this pikachu stuffy thing and i shouted i choose you and threw it at somebody. Well i guess that somebody was a fan of pokemon cuz he said "chardezar i choose you" and i went along with it and said "pikachu attack!". Then he said "chardezar doge it." Well after that i didnt know what to say and i was all like "umm you win this round but i will defeat you next time?". Then the guy ran away with my pikachu screaming "until next time" :'( i miss my stuffy
You gotta go chase after that boy and take your Pokemon back! I'm sure he misses you too.
Well, my wifi goes away in ten minutes so I'll cut it short. Jk it's already a long a/n.
So, vote, comment, and the next dare is: Go up to a stranger and tell them you really like their eyes. Just stand there comparing their eyes to random stuff like "your eyes are as blue as my couch" and then when they say thanks(hopefully they do), go: "excuse me, do I know you?" And act like the conversation you were having didn't happen. Then walk off like the person you were doing it to was the weirdo.
It's a surprise how I typed that off the top of my mind under pressure cuz my wifi's gonna disconnect and this stupid keyboard keeps buffering and pissing me off so sorry for any grammar mistakes GOTTA GO
BAD BOYS BAD BOYS WATCHA GONNA DO WATCHA GONNA DO WHEN DEY COME FO YOOU sorry I'm currently listening to that song and you should too.

~Ghostface
PS: go up to your parent/parents right now and thank them. Life is HARD without them. Just remember to constantly tell them you love them if you don't already do that. :)
