I gently tapped on the door with 'DUSTIN' written on it in big colorful letters.

At first I thought he wasn't in there, but after a while, I heard some shuffling and the door opened a tiny crack.

I looked down to see Dustin standing there staring up at me.

"Hi Dustin! I'm-" I started in a sweet voice.

"The crazy girl that punched my brother, I know." He cut me off.

I stared wide eyed at him. Well this could have started better.

"It's not my fault! He was being rude!" I defended, crossing my arms.

"Really? What did he do?" He asked, opening the door a bit more wider.

"He..." I trailed off. I couldn't exactly say 'he kidnapped me and ruined my life'.

"He called me stupid?" I said, sounding more like I was asking a question.

"He called you the S word?" Dustin stared up at me with wide eyes.

I couldn't help but fall in love with this kid even more now. Most eight year old kids would be saying things like 'Shit' now a days, and this kid was the brother of a kidnapper, yet he was pretty damn polite.

I wonder what had happened to his older brother. I guess it was true what they said, the first ones always a rough draft.

"Yeah, he said that." I said, trying to look serious.

"Then he deserved a punch!" The kid cheered, now opening the door fully, stepping aside.

I walked into his room and looked around. There were photos of him and the kidnapper mostly, which were adorable. I stopped at one picture in which the kidnapper was holding Dustin with his arm around his stomach and they were both laughing. He looked so carefree in that picture, I almost didn't recognize him.

"So why are you in my house?" Dustin asked now.

I turned to see him sitting cross legged on his dinosaur blanketed bed, staring up at me as if waiting for me to tell him a Disney story.

"Um, I'm working on a school project with your brother." I quickly lied, realizing afterwards how stupid that was. I'm pretty sure kidnappers didn't go to school.

"You go to his school too?" He asked.

Well apparently mine does...

"Yeah..." I trailed off, hating myself for lying to this cute innocent kid.

"Hey, do you wanna have some grilled cheese and watch movies with us?" I suddenly asked with a huge grin.

"Yes!" He jumped up, and ran to the door. "Wait." He stopped and turned.

"Yes?" I asked, right behind him.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"Skylar, but you can call me Sky." I smiled.

"So like Luke Skywalker?" He asked with a large smile.

I chuckled. "Sure." I smiled.

"Ok, let's go L.S!" He yelled, opening the door and running out.

I stared after him in confusion, before realizing he was saying Luke Skywalker's initials... Great, now I'm some dude who had a weird father with breathing problems.

But I didn't mind, seeing that kid smile like that was worth it.

Ten minutes later, we were all seated in front of the television, wrapped up in blankets with grilled cheese and apple-juice boxes, watching the opening scene of The Outsiders.

"I'm already bored." My kidnapper muttered.

"They haven't even said a single line yet!" I exclaimed.

"Shhh! Guys it's starting!" Dustin cried, leaning forward towards the screen.

I smiled at his enthusiasm of this movie. We'd totally become besties after this.

The next two hours were spent in silence as we watched the rest of the movie with great interest. Even Mr.Kidnapper seemed hooked which made me smirk in triumph.

"Wow." My kidnapper said as the credits rolled in.

"Yep." I agreed, staring at the screen in amazement.

I had seen the movie twenty times, and yet it always left me speechless.

I looked to my right to see Dustin quietly dozing, looking adorable curled up into a little ball.

"What time is it?" I asked, yawning and turning to my kidnapper.

"Eight thirty." He said, glancing at his black digital watch.

That watch was so kidnapper-y... Along with everything else he was wearing.

I started to check out his outfit right then without thinking. He had a plain white tee shirt that fit him perfectly, showing a hint of a six pack where the fabric clung to him. He had dark denim jeans on underneath that looked pretty bad-ass. I had to bite my lip as I continued eyeing him down, noticing-

"Can you help me tuck in Dustin?" He asked all of a sudden, causing me to snap my eyes up to his.

He had a knowing smirk on his face that blatantly indicated that I had been caught fully checking him out.

At least he had decided to spare me this time by not saying anything up front. He was probably scared to anyways, since I might just knock him out again.

I nodded, abruptly standing up with a tinge of warmth on my cheek. His smirk only widened, before he turned around to his younger brother.

I watched as he scooped up Dustin with ease and started down the hall.

He was an amazing older brother, I could tell simply by the way Dustin looked at him with so much adoration and awe.

I smiled softly at that, before following after my kidnapper who had already disappeared.

I walked in just in time to see the kidnapper pulling up the blanket around Dustin and placing a small kiss on his forehead.

He turned around and locked his green eyes with mine, and I caught such a sweet softness in his orbs which vanished shortly after, probably still present from looking down at his younger brother. It warmed my heart how much he cared, yet I couldn't help but desire more of that soft gaze looking my way...

I tried to shake away these bizarre thoughts and watched my kidnapper get up now and walk towards me.

"You still up to watch some Disney movies?" He finally spoke with a soft smile, now closing the door behind him as we both stood outside Dustin's room.

I couldn't stop the excited grin that overcame my face. "Really!?" I exclaimed, before slapping a hand over my mouth as I remembered the sweet little boy sleeping peacefully right on the other side of the door.

"Yeah really." He dismissed my excitement and lead the way back to the television.

We made ourselves comfortable on the floor with blankets everywhere, sitting side by side.

I was having breathing problems because of his proximity, but wasn't going to embarrass myself further by telling him to move because he was making me nervous.

"What movie did you put on?" I asked, staring at the black screen.

"My favorite Disney one." He grinned, looking like he was trying to contain his excitement. I wanted to pinch his cheeks. I wanted to also stop getting these odd instincts and thoughts.

I laughed once I saw 'The Lion King' appear in bold letters.

"I didn't know kidnappers like The Lion King." I shook my head.

"Can you stop calling me that?" He sighed, actually looking annoyed.

I slightly frowned. "Why?" It's just like calling a doctor, Doctor.

"One, I have an actual name." He stated.

Which apparently fate didn't want to reveal.

"And two, you're the only person I've ever kidnapped." He finished.

"What?" I asked, genuinely surprised. I hadn't really thought much about it but I guess I had just assumed that this wasn't his first time doing this.

"Really? I was certain that Alvin made you do this quite regularly." I said honestly.

"No Skylar, I am against all that has happened to you." He spoke softly. His words were enriched in sincerity and I met his soft gaze, my own eyes softening for a second.

"Then why the bloody hell did you kidnap me?" I snapped suddenly, looking at him fiercely.

He just sat silent as I burned my gaze into the side of his head. I broke off my angered exterior and let out a sigh. "Please, tell me." I added softly afterwards.

He finally turned to face me, his eyes looking taken aback by the intensity I was looking at him with. I watched as those guilt-ridden, frustrated, and exhausted eyes finally cleared of emotion, and a mellow look settled in place. "I had no choice." He finally spoke, saying little but sufficient at the same time. "I had to." He added softly.

"What do you mean you had no choice?" I couldn't help but press on.

"I can't tell you Skylar." He said firmly now, the soft expression on his face dissipating and being replaced by a hard exterior once again. The transition before my eyes slightly hurt.

"If you would've refused then maybe I wouldn't be here!" I yelled helplessly back, tears welling up in my eyes.

"You're right Skylar. You would be locked up in a cell, probably beaten and bruised because Alvin would've assigned you another kidnapper who would have treated you like shit and done horrible things to you!" He yelled all of a sudden, his low voice striking through the silence, so powerful that I felt it resonate in my chest.

I stared at him for a while, watching his chest rise and fall, his breathes slowly becoming leveled again. The roaring flames in his eyes seemed to die out pretty quickly and he looked at me with a bit of guilt, I was guessing for his angry outburst.

"I'm sorry." I finally said quietly, looking down at the pattern on the blankets.

I felt kind of selfish for yelling at him, when all he had done was help me. Yes he had kidnapped me and stripped me away from my life, but it was upon Alvin's demand, and with the way he had acted when I had tried to pry, I assumed Alvin held something highly valuable against the kidnapper.

I looked up to see him staring at me intensely.

"I know this sounds weird, and I'm pretty sure I've gone mental, but to speak the truth, I'm glad I was taken by you. And I'm sorry for not realizing it and appreciating your help." I spoke softly. "You're right, I could be facing a lot worse right now and I thank you for having a heart and compassion." I gave him a soft smile. "And I will find out your purpose for doing this." I added, looking at him with all seriousness.

"It's fine, I honestly could never expect that from you. I still put you in this situation and you can choose to believe it or not, but it hurts me to see such a young beautiful sweet girl like you being faced with these circumstances." He said with a sad look in his eyes.

I opened my mouth to reply, but he cut me off.

"So can we watch the movie now?" He asked expectantly, again clearing all the emotion from his eyes.

I debated on saying what I had intended to before, but chose to move past it as I turned and saw the paused screen. It made me smile in amusement as it showed the movie being so important to him that he had paused it in the midst of our conversation.

I was about to nod when a thought resurfaced that had been itching away somewhere in the back of my head all this time.

"Wait! You still haven't told me your name." I mentioned, looking at him eagerly.

I was tired of waiting and flat-out desperate to know at this point. The curiosity was actually starting to eat away at me.

"Maybe I'll tell you after the movie." He shot me a devilish look, turning to the screen and hitting play.

"Maybe?" I mumbled in exasperation.

He shushed me, waving his hand in front of my face.

The action made me laugh and I finally shut up after, finding it adorable at how seriously he took this movie.

I started to smile as 'The Circle Of Life' started playing and I even caught the 'bad boy' kidnapper mouthing along to the lyrics!

I bit back my large grin and sat back, enjoying the rest of the movie, but mostly enjoying the reactions of the six-foot-something hottie sitting next to me.

I heard a small noise and turned my head to see my kidnapper with something in his eyes. We were currently at the part where Mufasa dies.

Were those tears I saw in my kidnapper's eyes!?

I stared at his pained face, his eyes glistening. Even I never cried at this scene!

Either I was pretty cold-hearted, or my kidnapper was a huge softie inside.

I suddenly froze as I felt his hand slowly grab mine as Simba was telling his dad to get up.

I watched as he subconsciously laced his fingers through mine, his touch and movements soft and subtle, yet still causing butterflies.

I looked up to see his eyes were still watery and on the screen. I thought of calling him out on crying, but decided against it. If I was gonna find out his name, I'd have to keep his mood happy.

Although he looked like he was falling apart right now, watching Simba walk away, leaving his father's body.

We watched the rest of the movie, well he watched the rest of the movie, I was just staring ahead as my mind was going off with endless questions I had for the guy sitting next to me, and more importantly, the endless questions I was trying to answer myself regarding my current emotions and desires...

"It's ten o'clock, you sleepy yet?" He asked, shutting off the TV and turning to face me.

I nodded, stretching out my left arm, since my right one was still intertwined comfortably in his.

"Let's go." He said standing up, pulling me up swiftly with his hand. I let out a startled squeak as he pulled me into his chest and caught me by surprise, making my heart pick up its speed.

Man I was pathetic.

"I had fun today." He said, with a genuine smile.

"Me too." I couldn't help but smile back. "Including Alvin, he's a fun guy to tease." I grinned after.

"You shouldn't be teasing him Skylar." He said in a disapproving tone.

I rolled my eyes. "I can handle myself thank you very much."

"You need me." He shook his head.

"Yeah, because a guy that cries during The Lion King is totally gonna save me." I rolled my eyes.

It was a low blow, but I had to. I was a savage.

"I wasn't even-" he started to say.

"So, you going to tell me your name now?" I asked instead, choosing to drop it even though his slightly pink cheeks made me want to keep poking at the bear.

"Depends." He sighed now.

"On?" I trailed off.

He suddenly grabbed me by my waist and pulled me closer, causing my breathing to hitch.

"Depends whether you tell me you need me and that you would be nothing without me." He smirked devilishly, a playful flame in his eyes.

I stared at him with an open jaw.

"You're starting to act like Alvin here..." I muttered.

He raised an eyebrow.

"You're making people do things just so you can feel good about yourself." I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, so I guess you can just stick to 'Mr.Kidnapper'." He shrugged.

"Alright fine!" I quickly cracked, causing his irksomely attractive smirk to reappear. I could not believe that I was about to stoop do this level.

"Ineedyou." I rushed out.

"Pardon?" He asked as he leaned in closer, probably aware of the effect he was having on me.

"I need you." I said slower, giving him a hard glare as I spoke.

"And?" He said, starting to smile.

I groaned. "Do I ha-"

"Yes." He cut me off.

I sighed. "I would be nothing without you." I said through clenched teeth.

He was full on smiling now.

"Took you long enough to realize it." He grinned.

I just glared back.

"So your name?" I asked impatiently.

He smirked at me for a few more seconds, silently gloating, before speaking.

He leaned in close and put his mouth right above my ear.

"It's Nathan." He whispered, causing my heart to flip.

He pulled back with a soft smile on his face.

Nathan. It seemed perfect and sounded satisfying in my head.

I could say that all day. Nathan...

I bit my lip from smiling too hard. "Nathan." I said softly, letting the name roll off of my tongue.

His eyes turned a darker shade of green as he looked into mine intensely, making me feel all kinds of ways.

"Nice name." I said lamely.

"Thanks I worked hard on it." He winked at me, and that did it to set off my cheeks getting flushed.

He examined my face as I tried to look anywhere but into those entrapping emerald eyes.

"We should get some rest." He stated finally, letting me go from his secure hold and turning to walk down the hall.

I awkwardly stood there, not knowing if I should follow him or if I was expected to stay here and sleep on the couch.

"Are you coming or are you just gonna stand there like an idiot?" He called out from his room.

I simply huffed, holding back the rising blush on my face, before finally walking down to his room.

I glanced down at the clothes I had on. My only pair of clothes.

"I need something to sleep in." I called out to him.

I didn't know where he was, probably behind one of these doors.

"I know." He muttered, followed by some shuffling.

"Where am I sleeping?" I asked.

"On the bed." He answered.

"Where are you sleeping?" I called out, looking around to see if there was a couch or something.

"On the bed." He repeated.

Wait, what?

"So we're... Sleeping together?" I asked awkwardly.

"Yes." He confirmed.

"On the same bed? As in under the same blanket?" I asked nervously.

I heard a sigh, then saw him come out from what I guessed was his closet, a white shirt balled up in his hand.

"Yes, princess. Sorry I can't afford a king sized bed for you." He said sarcastically.

"But..." I trailed off, trying to find a reason why sleeping on the same bed might not be a good idea.

"I toss around a lot!" I exclaimed, mentally high-fiving myself for that save.

"That makes two of us then." He said, walking to his dresser and opening a few drawers, searching for something.

"But-but-" I stuttered like a helpless girl in those movies where there's this- never mind...

"But what? Calm down princess, I'll stay on my side, and you can stay on yours." He assured me, throwing the white shirt at me and going back to his closet.

"You can change in the washroom." He called out.

I gulped and made my way to his washroom.

I stared at myself in the mirror, feeling like an idiot. I had a large T-shirt on that only covered down to my mid thigh, leaving the rest of my legs bare.

I was so glad I had gotten that laser hair removal thing on my legs, otherwise I would have cactus legs right now.

I took a deep breath and peeked out the door.

Nathan was standing facing the wall, his back to me.

It looked like he was on a phone or something, which confused me considering there was no signal up here.

I could make a sprint to the bed and jump under the covers before he turns around...

I didn't take time to think over my other options and made a wild run towards the bed. I tended to follow through with my ideas immediately after thinking them up. I guess you could say I liked to live like a rebel.

I was almost at the large inviting bed, before I tripped over air and face planted into the carpet.

Amazing.

I groaned and slowly pushed myself up, turning around to see Nathan standing there, staring at my legs.

I so badly wanted to dissolve into the air right now.

I cleared my throat awkwardly.

"Aren't you gonna help me up?" I asked.

Instead of holding out a hand, which he seemed to be doing a lot of lately, he burst out laughing.

Even more amazing.

I waited impatiently for him to shut up as I sat there with an angry glare.

Once his laughter had died out, he held out a hand.

I ignored it, using the blanket on the bed to pull myself up.

I thought for a second I'd drag it down with me and fall again, but I thankfully caught my balance and stood up straight. I tried not to let my accomplished smile show too much on my face.

I climbed onto the bed, sliding my body beneath the thick blanket and snuggled into his comfy bed, ignoring his gaze on me.

I heard him let out a soft laugh, before I heard him walk away to shuffle around in his room.

After a while, I felt the bed shift and the blanket move as he slid under the covers himself.

The room became dark as he shut off the lights. "Goodnight princess." He said softly.

"Night napper." I muttered, half asleep.

I heard him mumble something in frustration about his real name, before delving into a deep sound sleep. I almost forgot I was under the same covers as my kidnapper.

Wait hold up-
