"How... Does... He... Move... So... Fast?" I asked between breaths of air.

"How should I know?" Aaron gasped out.

I didn't actually have an answer for that, and even if I did, I wouldn't be able to say it for lack of oxygen. Instead I kept running, following the guy Agent Carter had told us to shadow and gain intel on.

We had been following him for five hours now and had gotten almost nowhere.

When Carter first called him out, he was climbing out of his car and heading towards a coffee shop. A couple minutes in, he came out with a to-go cup and went into a shop next door.

Since then, he had gone into multiple shops, for various amounts of times. He would come out, throw something in his car, and continue on to the next stop.

Then, about ten minutes ago, he spotted us. He was throwing a bag of what looked like rope into the trunk of his car when he glanced back and saw us. He had stared at us for a minute, trying to figure out what was going on. Then, he just turned and ran. Aaron and I left the couples picnic behind in order to keep him in sight.

I didn't know how the others were doing. They were supposed to be gathering intel on this guy as well, but I was too busy dodging cats and trash cans in the alleys to see if they were behind us or not.

"Lookout!" Aaron shouted.

Too late, I realized there was a dumpster right in front of me. I slammed into it full force, my body catapulting over the low edge and I landed with a squish on top of various garbage bags.

Trying not to vomit at the horrible odor, I clawed at the edge to pull myself out. Finally, Aaron stopped laughing enough to grab my hand and pull me out. He used too much force though, so I flew over the edge and fell on top of an empty cardboard box laying on the ground next to the dumpster.

With a groan, I pushed myself up, having to hold the edge of the dumpster to keep from falling right back down due to my head making the world spin. After a second, the world stopped spinning and I let go of the dumpster. Looking back at Aaron, I saw that he was laughing again.

"What now?" I asked, a little annoyed that he was finding this so amusing.

With another chuckle, he said, "Nothing, let's just go before we lose him."

I didn't believe him when he said he wasn't laughing at anything, but at this point, he was right. If we didn't get going, we would lose our guy for good. With that in mind, I took a deep breath, and started running.

Six hours of Go Fish was a challenge. It was also hilarious. After all the recruits left their posts, Jaxon had pulled out a deck of cards. With the most serious, blank face I have ever seen, he dealt out the cards and said, "Go Fish."

Ten minutes later, we had gone passed the point of laughing and into clapping seal with no noise territory. It took us a while to calm down, but when we did, we picked up our cards and started playing. Two hours in, we had started making bets on whether or not we would get the card we wanted. The entire time, Jaxon and I had the most serious expressions on our faces, like we were playing poker with very high stakes. It made the game very entertaining for Taylor and Drake, especially since we used gummy bears and Oreos from the ice cream shop we were sitting outside of for bets.

Six hours later, we had to stop playing because the wind had taken a couple of the cards and Drake had eaten all of our gummy bears and Oreos. We laughed about Drake eating our game as we walked over to a nearby pizza parlor and ordered three extra-large pepperoni pizzas, some sodas, and two huge bags of cookies. Then we took our haul and sat at the picnic blanket under the tree that Victoria and Aaron had previously occupied.

"Do you guys ever feel like we eat way too much?" I asked as we set down all the food and drinks, creating a huge pile between us.

Drake thought it over for a second before saying, "Nah, everyone else just doesn't eat enough." We all laughed as we opened up a box of pizza and started eating. The pizza tasted amazing, and I savored it.

"Been a long time since you've had pizza?" Jaxon asked, watching me with amusement.

I shrugged and said, "I don't eat out much, so pizza isn't really on the menu."

"What? The queen of takeout hasn't been eating out!" Jaxon asked with mock shock.

I sighed, "One time, I burn dinner one time, and I'm never allowed to cook again, leaving me the title of Takeout Queen."

"The chicken was so burnt it was just a pile of ash!" Drake said with a laugh.

"Poor Dudley, may he rest in pieces," Jaxon said with a shake of his head and a look of mourning on his face.

I rolled my eyes, hiding a smile. Gosh, I missed these guys. It had been a while since I had had this much fun. "It was not that bad!" I defended myself.

"It looked like it had attempted to survive a trip to the sun and back!" Jaxon argued.

"I left it in five minutes too long, and it would have completely disintegrated if it had gone to the sun."

"With how much stuff you covered the chicken in, it would have been fine going to the sun."

"I wrapped it exactly how the recipe said to!"

"Drake and I were cutting at that wrapping for twenty minutes trying to get it open!"

"Not even!" I said, not being able to hide my laugh anymore.

Jaxon opened his mouth to contradict me when Drake elbowed me in my leg, pointing at something a little ways away. All of the recruits were walking towards us, well more like shuffling.

They came to a stop in front of us. "I take it you gathered all possible intel on your target if you are back here so soon," I said, the amusement from earlier still lingering.

They looked at one another, trying to get someone else to talk. Finally, Jennifer said, "We gathered all we could, but we lost him."

I cocked my eyebrow at the last part, but decided to save that for later. "Then let's hear it."

Jennifer started, "His name is Raymond. He is approximately six feet tall, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He is Mexican and about nineteen years old."

She stopped talking, and I asked, "Is that all?" When she didn't reply, I turned to the rest of the recruits. "Anything to add?"

Trying to save him and the rest of the recruits, Josh said, "He might have a job as a cook at a fast food restaurant."

I nodded, taking in the information they gave me. Finally, I said, "I expected more from you. There were tons of bits and bobs of information you could have picked up on him. You were surveying him for six hours! And don't even get me started on the fact that you blew your cover when you ran after him, breaking the one rule I gave you!"

They all started talking at once, trying to defend themselves. "Don't bother," I said, picking up a cookie and taking a huge bite out of it. After I finished chewing and I swallowed my bite, I said, "His name is Raymond Ramirez. He has brown hair and eyes, he is six foot one inches and weighs 160 pounds. He was born July 27, he is right handed, and he is seventeen years old. He has a large family, with two younger siblings. He works as a pizza delivery man and goes to a high school nearby. He reads in his free time, and he works out a lot. He plays guitar and his favorite food is a cheeseburger from In-n-Out."

"Also, my favorite color is purple." I looked over and saw Raymond leaning against the tree next to me with a smile on his face.

All the recruits looked scared at having been caught, but I just snorted. "Welcome back, Houdini."

He chuckled at that. Standing up from the tree, he walked over and laid down next to me. "So, you gonna tell me why I had to run around town all day while these guys chased me?"

"What, and ruin the suspense? I think I'll keep it to myself," I said with a smile.

"You know him?" Victoria screeched.

"No, I just let complete strangers lay next to me. I find it entertaining," I replied sarcastically. "Yes, I know him."

"So that's how you know so much about him!" Austin exclaimed.

I snorted and said, "No, I know that much about him because I am observant. Take a look at his wallet while he had it out to pay for something in one of the stores. His license, along with a school ID, a library card, and a gym membership say a lot. If you glanced in his car, which is rather big with a lot of seats, you would have seen two car seats and a ton of In-n-Out wrappers. If you looked closely at him, you would see the calluses on the fingertips of his left hand, saying that he plays guitar and is right handed, and you would be able to smell the different spices from the pizza he delivers."

"Dang girl!" Raymond said with a look of awe.

I laughed and glanced at my watch. "Don't you have to pick up Chris and Evy right now?"

He looked at his own watch and said, "Oh yeah." He stood up, grabbing a cookie and kissing me on the cheek as he did. "See ya later, muñequita!"

"Hey! You took the last cookie!" I exclaimed, looking at the empty cookie bag in front of me. He laughed as walked away, making a show of taking a big bite out of the cookie which caused Drake and Jaxon to laugh.

"I like him," Drake said.

"Anyone who can take your cookie, wave it in your face, and walk away alive is okay in my books," Jaxon said.

"Glad you all approve," I said sarcastically, shaking my head. These boys were so easily impressed. "Shall we head back then?"

The recruits gave mutterings of agreement, so the boys picked up the trash from the picnic and threw it away. As I turned around to walk back to the cars, I said, "Nice banana by the way Victoria. Saving it for later?" Victoria scrambled to pull the rotten banana peel from her hair, not having noticed it before.
