Kill them. Kill them all. Let them suffer.

A voice hissed into my ear fueling my desire to kill everyone. Today, they must all die for their sins. I will revenge my mother.

I raised my hands causing the cold flames to coiled around the academy, cries of terror could be heard within as the fire crushed the school. The sound of bones and glass crushing soothe the whispers but it wasn't enough to satisfy it.

More.

"Stop!"

An old lady stood before me with her arms apart, her eyes peered at me with such disappointment and grief. How dare she look at me with such a look? How dare she stare at me as if she knew anything about how I felt?

"Dear listen to me, please."

The cold winds wrap themselves around me as move my hand towards the old lady. They slithered towards her when I pointed at her causing them to blow her off the building. The voice chuckled as the lady screamed.

It was as if someone tugged a piece of string, the corner of my lips turn upwards and delighted crawled in. I couldn't help but giggle with glee.

This was fun, very fun indeed.

"Winter! What did you do?!" a fair-haired boy shouted running out.

He stared towards the direction I had flung the old hag in but I could only grin to his question. His face wince in disgust at my expression but I didn't care.

Kill him, my dear.

Blue flames appeared around me causing the floor to froze over, they roared causing the boy to flinch at their iciness. They burst out slithering towards him. He lifts his hands up in defense sending water out to counteract may flames.

Steam emerged as his water tried to dissipate my flames but my flames are stronger than his water. The flames pushed against his warm getting closer to him, nothing was going to save him now.

Suddenly a lake of red flames shot out from the left of me, counteracting my own flames. My grin quickly died and I felt angry. Who dared to stand up against me?

I turned to my left to see a pair of fierce green eyes stared back at me and I stared back. Who was this person?

His eyes showed a sense of determination and something else, love. Why did he stare at me with love? Doesn't he know what I am?

He steps forward and I unconsciously step back which made me even more confused.

He should fear you.

"Winter."

I quickly look back up at him. He had his hand out but I just stared at it suspiciously. His eyes look towards his hand encouraging me to take it. My hand twitched longing to go to it.

No, Winter. He is the enemy. He can not be trusted.

I pulled my hand away and his eyes stared at me with hurt. My heart whimpered at the sight but my mind was so baffled that I didn't know what to do anymore.

Kill him. Kill him! Do it!

Tears started to leak out from my eyes as my heart was beating against my chest. I close my ears with my hands trying to block out the murmurs but they won't recede back into their holes.

"Winter, look at me." his voice was so soothing that I stared up at him with tear-filled eyes.

I didn't even realized how close he got to me until his warm hands touch my cheeks filling that long-lost sensation that I yearn for. His bright green eyes captured mine once again, a feeling of tranquility flowed through me.

Suddenly there was a flash of light across our faces, I thought it was nothing. Until at the corner of my eye, I saw Elder James ran outside of the burning building holding a jar in his hands, light spilled out from under his clock and I knew what he had with him.

I turned into dust and sprinted towards him.

"Winter, stop."

Just as Elder James turned around, I materialized back into my original form and grab hold of his throat. He choked from shock as his eyes widen. I pulled him over him sending him flying, hitting the ground.

I stride over to him but a with brown hair and blue eyes stood in front of me. She opened her arms to protect the man behind her who was coughing up blood.

"Don't hurt him. He did nothing wrong." Fay shouted at me. Did she know what was inside that jar? How naive could she be?

She waved her hands over the ground before pulling it up and pushing it towards me. There were several big columns of dirt heading towards me but I just grinned in return. I touch it with 1 finger and watch it disintegrated into specks of dust.

It brought glee to me when I saw fear struck her eyes causing her knees to shake a bit. Good, she should fear me.

I touch the ground turning the ground around us into quicksand. She tried to step out but her foot got caught causing her to sink. She struggled against the sand but I just wanted around her towards the man I was craving to murder.

He laid on the ground desperately panting for air. As he heard me approaching he tried to crawl away but I froze one of his legs causing him to scream.

"I think you have something that belongs to my family," I whispered into his ear causing him to clutch onto the jar tightly.

"It's not yours to keep, sir," I said touching his shoulder turning it into ice.

He stared at me with anger and dread as I press my fear onto his frozen leg. The sounds of cracking made him panic staring at my face then to his leg which hand cracks running along the inside.

"Give it to me or your leg pays the price," he clung to the jar.

"Leg, it is then."

He screamed in agony as I crush his frozen leg into bits, shards of red ice flew out. There were tears at the corner of his eyes.

I felt several people stood at a distance behind me but I was too preoccupied with my victim.

I latch onto the jar as he started begging me not to but I pulled it out of his hands causing his arm to break as his shoulder was frozen.

"This doesn't belong to you and it never will again. Your filthy hands will never touch this." I said before lighting my hand on fire.

Before I could touch his head, someone grabbed my wrist, extinguishing my flames. I looked up to see the same boy from before with his green eyes.

"Don't, you aren't a murderer Winter." he stared back at me.

"Duke," I whispered as my memory started to fade back in.

I knew what he wanted so I sighed before turning my back from Elder James.

No, go back and kill him.

Shut up already.

The whispers stop instantly, I stopped as I saw everyone. Mike stood there with his arms around a wet Fay and Jeffery arrived with Bertha in his arms. I look at them with a weird face.

"Jeffery why are you holding Bertha in your arms? Also, why is Fay wet?" I asked but they gave me this look that made me shut up.

"Umm. You put Fay in quicksand so Mike got her out using his water snake that's why she is soaked. Also, you blew Bertha off the building so Jeffery saved her." Duke said behind me.

"What?!" I shouted staring at Bertha.

"It's okay dear. I know you weren't in control." Bertha said so casually but I felt guilty at what I had done.

"What happened to me?" I ask confused.

"When you get angry, you hear whispers," Bertha said causing everyone to turn to look at her.

"What?" I asked.

"I don't know why but ever since you were a kid. You are able to hear whispers, bad whispers whenever you got angry. You ended up forgetting who you are and those around you." Bertha said.

"So this has happened before?" I asked but she gave me a hesitant nod. I stared at her in disbelief.

"You know you didn't have to hurt Elder James," Fay said.

"You don't know anything so shut up," I said.

I tap my feet on the ground sending a pile of mud to her mouth before burning it so it hardens. She glared at me but I honestly didn't care what came out of her lips.

Abruptly I felt someone pulled the jar out of my hands. I turned around to see Elder James's crazed eyes staring back at me. I grabbed onto one end and he held to the other. It was like playing tug of war.

A gasp escape my lips when the jar slipped. The jar broke into pieces as it hit the ground causing smoke to come out of it. I stare in fear as what had happened to my mother's jar.

Suddenly a figure of light appeared before me, a tear managed to slipped out of my eye as I stared at her. Her long hair flowed down her body like water. She was so beautiful, my mother. I had wished I looked like her.

She smiled at me before cupping my cheeks, I can't help but let out a sob when she does so. It's been so long.

"My beautiful girl, you have grown so much since I last saw you. Look at how strong you have become." She gave me a sad smile.

"I wished you didn't have to grow up this way. I wished you didn't have to suffer. I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you, your brother and your father." She whispered.

"No, it wasn't your fault. Humans are evil creatures, it's their fault for doing this to our family. For tearing all of us apart from each other. For locking you up in a jar rather than meeting father when he had passed. I wished I had done something sooner. I wish I had known you were down there." I cried out to her.

"My baby girl, you have saved me and your father. Don't feel any regret as you wouldn't have known. Thank you, my lovely girl." She whispered before hugging me and disappearing into the night.

I couldn't help but cry as she went. I wanted to know more, what had happened to her? What was she like? I only remember the stories dad told me about her. I wanted to know more.

Duke wrap his arms around me in comfort but I just wanted my mommy.
