NICOLE'S POV

"Wakey-wakey" someone sang loudly. I gently opened my eyes,and immediately closed it once again. I groaned. Josh was shining a flashlight.On.Me. I opened my eyes again and I couldn't see clearly due to the fact that the light almost blinded me. Urgh

Josh was standing in front of me and he was holding a cup of water and a bowl. He placed it in front of me and quickly took out a penknife before cutting the ropes that was tied to my hands earlier on.

Alison was beside me wolfing down her food. I looked at the food in front of me. It was like the first time I was kidnapped. I had honey water and rotten vegetables. But now, I had fresh vegetables instead.

"Eat it!" Josh demanded. I haven't drunk any water the day before and I was super thirsty. My lips were all dried up. I quickly grabbed the cup and drank the water down. Then, I ate the vegetables while Josh looked at me, smirking. I ignored him and continued eating. After eating, Josh took both of our bowls and cups, before walking out of room.

Just then, my eyelids felt heavy. I felt REALLY sleepy. Then, before I knew it, I fell into a deep slumber.

JOSH(THE MAN)'S POV

Yes! My plan was working. Alison and Nicole were both passed out! Since I had Alison now, I could already kill Nicole, and today was the die that she was going to die!! I laughed evilly as I looked at the board in my lab of all the victims. Beth had helped me kill 10 people already, and she was gonna help me kill Nicole too, but I gotta do something horrible before each of the victims die, and I had planned it already, for Nicole. I smirked as I took my phone up and punched some numbers onto it.

"Come to the lab." I said, with a smirk on my face.

After half an hour, Beth came in with two other people, with worried looks on their faces. Their head was hung low as they walked into the room. They were Nicole's parents. "Sit." I instructed, as they took a seat in front of me. "Beth, get her." I instructed Beth too. "Yes, sir!" She replied, before walking away. I took a sip of my coffee before talking to Nicole's parents.

BETH'S POV I was walking toward the room where Nicole and Alison was when suddenly, someone appeared in front of me and pushed me against the wall. I screamed but the person covered my mouth using his hand. My heart beat vigorously as I looked at him in the eye. I frowned and he took his hand away from my mouth. I sighed,"Ben, u almost gave me a frickin heart attack!" I exclaimed.

Instead of apologising, he handed me a set of keys. "Save Nicole, please." He whispered in my ear, sending chills down my spine. Then, he walked off. "W..wait!" I yelled, but he ran off.

I sighed and walked towards Nicole's room. Josh had me what to do earlier on so I knew exactly what to do. I unlocked the door, and Nicole and Alison were passed out on the floor. The bowls were on the ground and mosquitoes were flying above it. I shook my head and cringed, before walking towards Nicole.

I grabbed her legs and dragged her to the arena. In the arena, there was a glass room and 2 ropes, that were used to hang people. This procedure happened to every victim. Josh would lock the victims in the glass room, and let them watch their parents get hanged, before Josh kills them.

I dragged Nicole and let her back rest against the wall as I took out the keys that Ben gave me. I unlocked the door, and dragged Nicole in, before letting her rest on the seat. I looked at her, and my heart shattered into a million pieces. Scars were visible on her face and she looked pale. Just then, Ben words rang at the back of my mind ,"Save Nicole, please." I had to save her. I mustn't hurt her anymore. She thought of me as a betrayer, but I wanted it to be like the old times, when we were best friends. I missed those times. Tears sprung my eyes and I walked out of the glass room. I locked the door and went back to Josh's office.

JOSH'S POV

"YOU HAVE ALREADY CAUSED ENOUGH TROUBLE FOR OUR FAMILY, ISNT THIS ENOUGH?!" Nicole's father, Mr Johnson, stood up from his chair and pointed his finger at me accusingly after Beth left the room.

I laughed as I looked at him. His face was red with anger as he glared at me. "Mr Johnson, if I let Nicole or you off, how would I know that you won't tell on me to the police?" I questioned.

"I promise, we won't tell the police!" Mrs Johnson pleaded, as tears streamed continuously down her face.

"Well, I wouldn't risk it." I said, smirking as Mr Johnson clenched his fists. He walked towards me, his fist ready to punch me but I blocked it with my palm. "Do u think violence is the solution?" I asked. "HAVENT YOU DONE ENOUGH VIOLENCE TO NICOLE ALREADY?!" Mr Johnson shouted.

I clenched my fists as my body shook with fury. I couldn't take it anymore. I stood up from my chair and grabbed Mr Johnson's collar. "S..stop it!" Mrs Johnson tried to break us two apart, but my grip was strong.

"FOLLOW MY ORDERS AND DONT ARGUE BACK IF YOU WANT YOUR DAUGHTER TO BE ALIVE!" I shouted, before releasing my grip and pushing him towards the wall. Then I sat back on my chair, and took a few breaths as I calmed down. Just then, there was a knock on my door. "Come in!" I yelled. "She's awake." Beth informed me and I nodded my head as I stood up from my chair. "Follow me."I told Nicole's parents, before Beth and I led them to the arena.
