I was a bundle of nerves as Dylan drove back to the hotel breaking every traffic law known to man.

Anything less was unacceptable.

We had to find Archer in time. We didn't have a choice because I refused to think about what would happen if we didn't.

I had to get to him.

"Can you go any faster?!" I demanded for what was probably the hundredth time.

Dylan quickly glanced at me out of the corner of his eye, an irritated expression on his face.

"I'm going as fast as I can!" he yelled for what was probably also the hundredth time.

I sighed heavily and tried to keep my shaking legs still but as soon as they stopped my hands started.

I was a nervous wreck.

I saw Dylan glance at me again out of the corner of my eye and was surprised when I felt a warm hand cover both of my shaking ones.

I glanced down at Dylan's hand and then back up at him.

"We're going to find him Gemma." His voice was unusually soft.

I couldn't help the few tears that slipped out and ran down my cheeks.

"But are we going to find him in time?" I asked, my voice shaky.

Dylan gently squeezed my hands.

"We'll find him. Alive and in time." He promised.

I turned so I was fully facing him.

"Don't make that promise unless you plan to keep it."

"I plan on keeping it. We're going to get to him."

I didn't say anything in response, I just turned back forward and watched as the palm trees flew by. I watched people walking, talking, and laughing. None of them seemed to have a care in the world while mine was slowly being torn apart.

Archer's P.O.V.

All I had was one hour left.

I had spent the first searching everywhere I could for Gemma.

The problem was I had no idea where I was, where I was going, or where Gemma was or where to start looking for her.

I ran a frustrated hand through my hair. How could I let this happen? After everything we went through I should've knew better. Now Gemma and all of my friends were missing and I only had...

I glanced down at my phone.

Fifty five minutes to find her.

I felt absolutely useless. I had been searching for what felt like forever and I was no closer to finding her than I was before.

She was probably waiting for me to come and get her and I couldn't. What kind of piece of shit boyfriend was I?

I slammed my fist into the nearby wall.

"Fuck!"

I barely paid any attention to my now bloody knuckles. Glancing at my phone again I took a deep breath.

I wasn't about to stop looking for her. I wouldn't give up on her. Not now, not ever.

I was going to find her.

Gemma's P.O.V.

After what seemed like an eternity plus some, our hotel finally came into view. What I wasn't expecting was the twenty plus police cars surrounding the place.

"What do you think is going on? " Dylan asked as he slammed on the brakes and put the van in park.

" I don't know and I don't really have time to sit around and ask. I have to find Archer." I said as I jumped out of the van and started towards the front of the hotel.

I had only made it to the first police car with Dylan right on my heels when a police officer held his arm out and stopped me.

"I'm sorry miss, this is currently the sight of a kidnapping. I can't let you pass."

"Yeah I know. I was one of the people kidnapped!"

The officer seemed to just now take in my battered appearance.

The officer quickly waved over another officer, another male probably in his late thirties with black hair and brown eyes.

"What's going on?" The officer asked.

"She says she was one of the kids that they reported missing." Officer Hale said as I read his name tag.

The other officer, Officer Thompson, looked at me before quickly fishing a piece of paper out of his pocket. He looked down at the paper before his eyes went wide.

"It is her! Gemma Conners right?"

I nodded my head.

"Yes that's me but I don't have time to sit here and talk right now. My friends are still down there and my boyfriend is in danger. There's a bomb-"

"Bomb?!" Officer Hale exclaimed.

I blew out an exaggerated breath.

"I'll explain it to you all later but right now I need to get to my boyfriend. He's in the basement of this hotel."

"Wait a minute. You mean to tell me that all the other missing kids are right in the basement?" Officer Thompson asked.

I ran a hand down my face.

"Yes! If you guys would have actually looked I'm sure you would have found them by now."

"We just found out about you guys. We wouldn't even be here if it weren't for the fact that so many of you went missing. You know you usually have to wait-"

"I don't care! " I screamed.

"Did you or did you not hear the part where I said there is a bomb and my boyfriend needs to be found before the damn thing goes off?!?"

"Miss I'm going to have to ask you to calm down. Now that we know where the kids are we'll find them and everything will be fine. We'll get your boyfriend and your friends back safely." Officer Thompson said in a soothing voice.

"No you don't get it. The man who kidnapped us is a lunatic. He runs around wearing this sheep mask and if you don't get him then we'll never be safe."

"Well where is he?" Officer Hale asked.

"I don't know! We knocked him out and took off so I could get to my boyfriend in time!" I was tired of talking so I tried to shove my way pass but Officer Thompson stopped me.

"Whoa there. You can't go back in there. Chris go ahead and inform the chief and let them know that there's a possible bomb threat."

Officer Thompson looked down at me with a calm expression on his face.

"You see? Everything is going to be just fine."

I was about to object when Dylan suddenly jumped in.

"I remember where I saw him last! "

Officer Thompson looked over at Dylan, noticing him for the first time.

"Who?"

"The guy who kidnapped them. I know where we knocked him out at. I can take you guys to it."

"Really? Well just wait right here. I'll get some guys and you can show them."

Officer Thompson quickly turned around and hurried over to the small group of officers.

I quickly turned to Dylan.

"Dylan we don't have time to go back and show them where Sheep Mask was at. Archer is running out of time!"

"I know. Which is why I'm going to show them by myself and you're going to sneak away and find your way back into that hotel before they come back over here."

Before I even knew I was doing it, I rushed forward and threw my arms around Dylan.

"Thank you." I whispered.

Dylan's arm quickly went around me.

"You're welcome. Now go before they come back over here."

I quickly pulled away from our hug and threw him a grateful smile before quickly taking the long way around the hotel away from all of the police officers in the front.

I wasn't going to wait for them to try and find Archer.

I would find him myself.
