FIRST: How do you think the Elders are reacting to that little news brief?

SECOND: HOW MANY OF YOU HAD TROUBLE SEEING CHAPTER 61?? Was it cut off and showing numbers for you??

NEXT, I posted this on my other story but I want to do it here as well.

IMPORTANT: If you're a young writer and someone tells you, "them stories that begin with "Hi my name is (name) and I'm a brunette girl" blah blah blah like no delete your story and your account"

PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO anyone THAT SAYS THAT TO YOU! You have to start somewhere and if that is how you can, then do it. Eventually you'll get constructive criticism, you'll see your own mistakes and you'll correct them. But until then, continue writing! No one is perfect. I mean if writing makes you happy, then don't let someone tell you that you need to quit before you really even get started.

Many people started with this book so you only see my style and technique NOW, but if you started from Unexpected, then on to Unconditional... YIKES. It was a rough start, but I continued and while I did think of giving up twice once during each book I regret that I even listened to the people that said, I should just quit.

So someone PM'd me and asked for any type of advice I would give a new writer... well that's it. Don't give up, not everyone is going to love what you write, but there will be a few that do. And those people will tell others...

Another asked how I got so popular with my stories... I don't think I did but honestly, I decided when I was going to start writing this series that I would personally private message 100 people and ask them to read my story. I wrote different nearly 100 different synopsis, with the link, and pretty much begged. I know some of you remember those messages. LOL.

So yeah, after that, I just decided to type out at least +1,000 words a day which is currently now at 4,500 AT THE MOST, +2,000 at the least. Then I decided that collectively, I would type for one hour, and post WHATEVER I had that day - unless I was doing homework or busy with other real life stuff.

Besides asking 100 people to read, I also decided that I would write my stories, my way. There are enough stories that are the same, about the Alpha male and he's the one that says the day, or the female lead that's out for revenge, I wanted something a bit different, couldn't find it. Thought I'd write what I wanted to read.

interacting with readers... I know some people HATE the Q/A's I do at the end of each chapter, but there are times where I feel like something you said should be posted for others to read. I like the debates and I want everyone to know that I'm reading each and every single one of your comments. I might not be able to respond to each one individually, but when I go through comments and I pick out 13 -15 comments left I do so because I want readers to know I'm reading your words, just like you're reading mine :)

NOW... ABOUT THE FOURTH BOOK:

what Will book four be about? Chelsea defeating the Elders, Angel/Russell clan, Chelsea/Gabriel returning home to the 'Family.' Will Gabriel go back to his blowing up ways? I mean Victor/Remy going home and dealing with Mylene...

Why was there a time jump: because what is left has a lot to do with people who are in Scratch, and since unbroken was really about growth, Scratch has pieces of those missing two years to an extent. Where I left off, in Unbroken, Oakley wasn't healed (before the epilogue) but she was in a good place, where she still had recovery left, but I didn't need to go day by day anymore. Or at least I thought so.

NOW QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS FROM THE EPILOGUE:

Is Pat dead? While many would probably be okay with him dying, he isn't going to die, he's heartbroken and see he hasn't changed. Oakley was the one that was going to change, I mean I started with her, and I ended with her. There were other pieces in this book that were important, but I guess I wanted Oakley's story out there because it was an important one to tell. I honestly sorta pity Pat. (lol) okay no more laughing there...

But I do pity him because I know it's weird since I wrote the story, but putting that aside, like as a reader, I feel like he could've gotten his act together in two years lol. I mean, the witch got a JOB (finally...) he could've made changes, instead he just...

I know this is going to seem like a childish example but to me Pat is that little kid that his parents say clean your room by Friday, on Monday. And then, each day instead of actually cleaning, he just chucks his stuff in random places, the closet, under the bed, in the dressers. It doesn't even matter that he's putting clean clothes with dirty clothes, he's just trying to make the room appear clean when the mess was just moved where the eyes can't see.

Roxanne did you have to give the man a heart attack lol. You should of seen me reading this chapter i was screaming and jumping just so excited about what was happening . Thank you for the excellent read and I do read all the comments to see what folks have to say and answer questions as well. No problem, I had to do it. You know how you need to be at your worst before you change, like when you have nowhere left to go but up? That's how I see Pat.

oh why does norine have to die? i love it when norine and sarah would come face to face..but not to take pat back but to slam it on his face on how wrong he is..and norine is wise and beautiful and pat has sarah the insecure manipulative toxic woman..aaaaaahhh..when's book 4? So Norine had her issues, she's in no way the perfect mother I mean she lied to Pat, and a lot of this could've been avoided had so said something but think about the chapter where we learn WHY she's not in the Hereafter? Her child was suffering, Oakley was having a hard time, she sacrificed. Now let's think about Sarah... the minute she knew she was having Amelia, she ran and let her suffer for seven years.

I know that Oakley suffered too, but I also hope everyone see's the difference in the situation.

I'm so damn happy that everything was blurted out on tv like that. Why? Well the fact that everyone in that small town used to spread words about how Norine was a whore thanks to sara's lies, how people pitied and made fun of Oakley because of that, And now that the truth is out, theres no doubt that to make themselves feel better and make things supposedly "right" the people are going to turn the tables around and are going to call out on Sarah's lies and probably bully Amelia too.... Because the truth can never stay hidden.... And Karma's a b!tch. :3 If Patrick is having a heart attack i just hope Oakley keeps her promise and not visit him, it should be ben and chelsea, so that chels can heal him and command sarah to spill all the damaged she's done and for ben to give pat a verbal slap! Yes, that would be wonderful!

SO the MINUTE I decided that Derrick (from HFM) would out the Shifters, this epilogue is what popped into my head. I literally built Oakley's story from that Epilogue because she had such an important story to tell. And for anyone that's feeling like how Oakley did in the beginning, I'm in no way saying that running away or other ways are the way to deal with problems. Because Oakley didn't really run, she changed places and even then, she STILL had to face what was happening. What made her change isn't the money Chelsea has or the money her mother left her, she really had to be stripped down and I guess rebuilt into a more confident and content person. Just because Pat didn't love her, doesn't mean she wasn't worthy of loving herself... I hope that came across in the writing.

Why did you have such a public outing and how come Oakley didn't hand deliver the journal? because even though people say don't believe the gossip you hear, that whole town of less that 2,000 people thought Norine ran away. They looked down on Oakley, treated Sarah like a queen because she was taking care of two children, whose mother ran away with some man. Was having a difficult time with Oakley, because Oakley was just like Norine, a trouble maker and whatnot.

HOW OLD IS EVERYONE in the Epilogue:

They were all on the island by November 29th 2014

Pat is watching everything on March 28th 2017

Chelsea is 20 years old, Turning 21 in April.

Oakley is 15 just about to turn 16 in August.

Ben is 13 years old turning 14.

Sienna is 12 years old turning 13.

Kieran is 17 years old.

Ava is 7 years old.

What will the fourth book be called: Undivided.

I loved the ending. I wonder if Pat is having a heart attack? No sympathy! I see your point, again, i'm not a parent but it has to be a blow to hear your child just lay it out for you like that. I mean especially if you go back and read how he's like it was all healed. The two people missing were his Ben and Oakley... Diane and Marvin, his brother and sister... all the siblings it's not that they HATE Sarah or Amelia, or the new twins, it's how Pat behaved. They are a close family and to see Sienna, and know that Pat really was the one that could've looked for Norine and he didn't... slap to the face.

hahaha Amelia's skin is gonna turn green when she realizes that Oakley and Ben has everything, still, that she covets. a loving family, acceptance from said family, title of a royal princess, fancy clothes and things. money blah blah blah. it is quite funny cause she'll be wondering why not ME as she's all about herself. she calls them animals, yet, she's really the animal. they have more humanity in them then she'll ever have in her black heart and soul. They have those things, but it's not about the money and all that other stuff Amelia wants. It's easy to notice that Amelia wanted Pat, she thrived on being able to get Pat. She had the one thing Oakley wanted, but now... Oakley doesn't want that anymore.

I loved it! I have no sympathy for Pat. He had so many chances to make things better. Children can forgive their parents for a lot of things but Pat couldn't/wouldn't make the effort. He constantly took the path of least resistance ( at least initially) and let Sarah roll all over him. I thought it was perfect when Oakley pointed out how he threw away the family he loved and that was supposedly made in love for a manipulative witch. Pat is just a sorry excuse for a man and a parent and I hope it eats at him to see his children happier without him than they were with him. It's twisted but, someone and I hate that I forgot which of you made this comment, but you said that Pat blamed Oakley. That she looked like Norine so he just, placed all his blame and hate on her. So his ending here... I mean he lost Norine, blamed Oakley for years, and now it comes out that she really never left. She was pregnant. he never searched for her and the last piece he had left of Norine, well she just said that she'd prefer not to see him. Pat has these rose colored glasses on... He thought he would be getting a broken bird back.

I should never have read the epilogue right before I was going to bed. Thinking about it kept me up half the night. I know people will probably jump me for saying this, but I really feel sorry for Pat in the end. He didn't screw up Oakley, Ben or Sierra ' s lives. He screwed up his own life. He let himself be manipulated by Sarah and Amelia. For Sarah to try to drag Norine down to her own level by once again by bad mouthing her in front of the family and by trying to get Pat to agree with her that Sierra wasn't Pat and Norine 's daughter was despicable. I feel sorry for a man that isn't man enough to stand up for his children and lost his first family..... Okay so this message really just gave me the feels especially the responses after (i didn't include the whole thing but still). First, I really dislike when I read something that plays on my mind, I mean yes when it does that I know it's good so I'm happy that my story can do that but, still hate that feeling.

Second, I know many don't feel pity or sorry for Pat but it's just sad, I mean and he still didn't see it like Diane (his sister) did. Noreen was kidnappened, they heard the recording from Oakley, now this, and Sienna is like walking around, looking like a Lawson, even Pat thinks that. But Sarah is saying what? there's no way that she's his... and instead of putting her in her place, or just manning up and being like dude... she's my child. He goes off on Diane and protects Sarah. Total transference if you ask me. * hint * hint *

Gosh! Can't believe this book is complete now, bcos it's been an eye-opener in lots of ways especially to what we take for granted in our everyday lives. though the story is a work of fiction, but its content tells the story of some persons' evryday life. I hope Pat hasn't died nor suffered stroke because he needs to be alive to live iwth the consequences of his (in)actions regarding Oak, Ben, & even Sienna - they all deserved better treatment from him than what they got. I'm happy that Oak has outgrown her anger issue with Pat and moved forward. Can't wait for Scratch to be continued to read the growth experience these kids & their mates and families go through. I won't kill Pat, that would be too easy. He just needed to be brought down a few pegs. I know it's fiction and werewolf, but I hope that different parts are reflective on real experiences someone might have. It won't be the exact same as Oakley, but I know that some people may have experienced something like this, and IN SHORT, I really hope that I depicted maybe 1/10th of what it was truly like to be in this situation.

thank you everyone for reading and taking this journey with me :) I really appreciate each and every single one of you that vote and comment, even my silent readers. When I start posting Book FOUR I will post a message for those that are interested.

**kinda SPOILERS** I'm going to go work on Scratch right now, because I know many of you are really eager to find if it was Victoria or Lana...

How is Loving Ashlynn related to this series if at all? For now, let's call it a stand alone...
