"Okay Hud. Either Rana and I get married like tomorrow, or I'm moving!" Rami threatened as he barged into Hudayfah's office, and Hudayfah laughed, looking into his friend's agitated face.

"What wrong Rami?"

"I can't be around her anymore! It's killing me!" he exclaimed, and Hudayfah shrugged.

"Then do the Nikkah. Call my parents and tell them you want to get married soon."

"Can we just do that?" Rami asked in disbelief, and Hudayfah shrugged.

"Why not? Things don't have to be complicated you know."

Rami ran a hand over his jaw thoughtfully.

"Huh. I guess you're right." He smiled cheerfully. "We will make the call tonight!"

"Good! InShaAllah!"

"Speaking of tonight, are you nervous?"

"Why would I be nervous? I'm already married to her." Hudayfah said with a laugh.

"Yes but for this wedding she actually wants to be married to you!"

Hudayfah glared at him.

"Shut up."

Rami laughed.

"I'm excited. It will be nice to forget about all the bad stuff for a while."

"You know what I realized?"

"Hmm?"

"Jenna and I have not been alone together since our first wedding night. We have always had people around us. What kind of awful honeymoon is this?"

"She knows you married her because things were going on. Its not like you decided after the wedding to wreak havoc on your lives."

Hudayfah nodded.

"I guess. But I want to do things right this time. It's like a second chance. Maybe I'll take her to Florida or something. I know we can't leave the US."

"Ask her. I think she would like to get away with you."

***

"Okay, tonight there is to be no talk about those freaky men at Hud's party, or Jamaal and his evil plots. Today," Rana paused to straighten out Jenna's veil, "is a wedding, and we are going to have fun!" she ordered, and Jenna laughed.

"Yes Ma'am!" she exclaimed cheerfully, and after rearranging the veil a few more times, Rana stepped back in satisfaction.

"Aw you look so beautiful!" she said, putting a hand over her heart, and Jenna laughed again.

"Thank you!" she said twirling around. She had gotten another wedding dress, and while it was a lot simpler than her first one, it still was beautiful. The train was only a few inches behind her, three inches tops, the bodice was beaded, and while it was strapless, she had gotten a matching jacket. The edging of her veil matched the beads on the bodice, and trailed down the length of her gown. She was wearing short, very short, she had learned her lesson at the party, heels, and all in all, she was excited. They were going to do all the things that they should have done at their first wedding.

Hudayfah was going to come in the room for a glance at her before she put on her jacket and scarf, and they had hired a photographer to take a picture of his face, and then they were going to do their wedding photos in the grand entrance of their house, before joining the rest of the party. It was like a redo for them, and she was so happy.

"So who is out there exactly?" she asked, as Rana began to line her eyes.

"Well Hudayfah's men of course, Jafar and Ali's sisters Hikmah and Hind, a few friends who live here in the city. There is a big group who came from Florida and Boston. Basically all the friends and family who live on the East Coast, and couldn't make it to your wedding in Arizona. Oh and Sami is here!"

Jenna blinked in surprise.

"Sami came?"

"Keep your eyes closed." Rana scolded. "Yeah he actually just got here, came straight to the house from the airport."

"Wow that's so nice. So basically I won't know anybody out there but Sami and Hudayfah's men?"

Rana gave a mischievous smile.

"You never know."

Jenna squinted suspiciously.

"What are you not telling me?"

Rana grinned, and after running blush over Jenna's cheeks, gripped her hands.

"Close your eyes."

"What? Rana come o..."

"CLOSE THEM!"

Jenna closed her eyes.

Soon she heard a door opening, followed by commotion and scrambling and giggling and the sound of someone crashing into something before saying 'oops' and soon Rana was back.

"Okay and...open!"

"SURPRISE!"

Jenna's mouth dropped as she opened her eyes and found her sisters in front of her, before she burst into tears, and threw her arms around them.

"Don't cry! You will ruin your make up!" Emma scolded, but Jenna could hear her sister sniffling as well. Once they had pulled back, Maria put her hands on Jenna's face.

"I can't believe I'm here with you! I've missed you so much!"

"What are you guys doing here!?" she exclaimed, hugging them again as if she couldn't believe they were there.

Emma grinned.

"Rana, who by the way is my new best friend," she said giving Rana a quick squeeze, "convinced Hudayfah to send for us!"

"Well it wasn't that hard. It barely left my mouth that it would make you happy and he was already on the phone with the airlines!" Rana exclaimed, and as her sisters laughed, Jenna blushed slightly.

"Plus, what kind of party would it be without me!?" Emma teased, and Jenna rolled her eyes, laughing.

"You look so beautiful habibti. You know what's funny is that you had a fancier dress and fancier makeup last time but there is something about you now, like a light shining from you that makes you seem a million times more beautiful than your first party." Maria said, and Jenna blushed happily, knowing that it was because this time she wanted to be with Hudayfah.

"Okay so Hud is getting anxious to come and see you and take pictures." Rana said, and Emma and Maria exchanged a glance.

"Oooooooh!" they exclaimed before bursting into hysterical laughter, and as Jenna blushed, they started laughing harder.

"Shut up! I'm going to remember this when one of you get married!" she exclaimed, and Emma laughed.

"Yeah like that's going to happen. Alright we don't want to keep your husband waiting. Come Maria." She said linking arms with her younger sister and as they left the room, Rana did a quick touch up of Jenna's veil and skirt before giving her a hug.

"I'll go get Hud and the photographer." She said, her smile bright, before she lifted her purple dress that matched that of Emma and Maria's, and skipped eagerly out of the room.

Once she was alone, Jenna suddenly found herself nervous, which was silly! She had lived with the man for the past month, it's not like it was the first time she was meeting him! She walked over to the mirror, fixing her hair, straightening out her gloves, and as she heard the door open, her heart began to beat fast, and she turned around to see Rana leading Hudayfah into the room as his eyes were closed, followed by the photographer Hudayfah had hired for the day, Daisy.

"Okay, so I want you two to hold hands while his eyes are still closed, I'll take a picture, then we count to three, he opens, and I snap the shot. Okay?" Daisy asked, and Jenna nodded, before stepping forward, and putting her hands in Hudayfah's. He smiled as she made contact, and gave her hands a squeeze.

"Salaam darling." He said softly, and she squeezed his hands back.

"Walaikumasalaam."

"How are you doing?"

"I'm well. You?"

His smiled widened.

"I'm excited to see you." He ran a hand up the side of her arm, tracing the beading on her dress, Daisy clicking away.

"Okay," she said, pushing back her bangs, and moving so the camera so she was in full view of Hudayfah's face. "On the count of three. One, two, three."

As Hudayfah's eyes opened, he just stared at Jenna, his mouth dropping, and with Daisy taking pictures, Hudayfah stepped forward, pulled Jenna to his chest, and held her tightly.

"You're beautiful." He murmured softly, and she brought her head up to look at him.

"It's nothing really." She said a bit embarrassed at the intensity of his gaze, and he laughed.

"No really. You're gorgeous." He moved a hand to cup her cheek, bending to kiss her forehead, and Daisy smiled.

"That was a precious picture. Now this room is beautiful. I especially love the chandelier and double staircase. We can get some very Beauty and the Beast shots."

"I love that movie!" Jenna exclaimed, leaning into Hudayfah, and she felt his chest rumble as he chuckled softly.

Daisy grinned, and motioned towards the stairs.

"Now if we could have both of you go to the top of the separate staircases, and pause as you look at each other." She waved a hand in the air. "Then slowly descend the stairs until you get to the bottom, pause and pose, walk towards each other, Jenna you curtsey, Hu...Hu.." she paused. "Sorry I can't say your name."

Hudayfah laughed.

"It's okay, you can call me Hud."

She nodded.

"Alright, Hood," Hudayfah and Jenna exchanged amused grins, "you bow, take each other's hands, pause and pose, then get into a dancing position, and pause and pose, then we will go from there."

They followed her instructions exactly, Jenna feeling more like Princess Belle by the second, and she gave a little giggle as she made her curtsey, Hudayfah winking at her as he made his bow. As they paused in their dancing positions, Hudayfah leaned towards her ear.

"I booked us a hotel suite for tonight."

She felt her butterflies return full force. They both had said this would be a repeat wedding for them, did that include the wedding night too?!

Obviously it did.

"Is that okay?" he asked in concern when she didn't say anything, and she nodded hurriedly.

"Yes of course." She said, and he flashed her a grin, turning around as Daisy stepped forward.

"Okay now I want to do a pose that's pretty common with my clients." She paused to bring Jenna's veil up until it was covering both of their heads, and without even needing to be told, Hudayfah leaned his forehead to Jenna's, and Daisy nodded in approval. "Perfect," she took a few shots before looking up from the camera and smiling. "How about a kiss?"

There was a beat of silence in the room as Jenna momentarily panicked, but to her relief, Hudayfah pressed a feather light kiss on her forehead. She didn't want their first kiss to be in front of a stranger, even for the sake of really cute wedding photos.

They spent the next half hour posing for different pictures, ending with the classic zooming onto their rings, while she held her bouquet of flowers one.

Once they had finished, he waited until she had put on her jacket and scarf, before extending his arm with a grin.

"Ready?" he asked, and she nodded.

"Ready!"

He glanced down at their hands for a moment before giving her a sheepish grin.

"They are pretty and all, but can you take off your gloves?"

She gave him an odd look.

"Why?"

"Because I want to feel your hand in mine."

She blushed slightly at such a sentiment, before removing her gloves, and placing them on the side table. He grinned, and took her hand again.

"Ah, much better."

*** As they entered the room as the DJ announced them, people began to cheer and yell and clap, and Jenna couldn't help but laughing at all these people that were here to see them and she knew maybe fifteen maximum.

"You okay?" Hudayfah asked her, giving her hand a squeeze, and she nodded.

"Of course."

"Good. Let's go make some introductions."

Hudayfah led her around the room, introducing her to some of his dorm mates from college who had come up from Florida. They entertained Jenna with some embarrassing stories of Hudayfah much to her amusement, and his chagrin. She then met some of his friends who lived in Manhattan, and soon they came upon two identical young ladies who were absolutely stunning. They had long black hair, high cheekbones, but one had green eyes, and one had blue.

"These are my cousins, Hikmah and Hind! They are Jafar and Ali's sisters." Hudayfah said pulling Jenna forward, and the two girls smiled at the same time.

"Salaam Jenna. I'm Hind." The green eyed one said throwing her arms around Jenna. "You look gorgeous MashaAllah!" she exclaimed, and Jenna smiled.

"Walaikumuasalaam Hind. Barak Allahu Feeki." She said, and the blue eyed one stepped forward.

"I'm Hikmah. Welcome to the family!" she said hugging Jenna as well and she hugged the young girl back.

"Thank you habibti. MashaAllah you both are so beautiful!" she exclaimed and they both smiled again.

"As you can tell, we are twins. I met your sisters earlier, are you and Emma twins!?" Hind asked and Jenna laughed and shook her head.

"No, I'm a year older."

"MashaAllah you look identical!" Hikmah exclaimed, and the four of them talked for another few minutes before Hudayfah pulled her to meet some other friends of us who had come in from Boston. Once they had made their way around the entire room, talking for a solid ten minutes with Sami, they sat down for dinner, before Rami tapped his glass, and as all eyes turned towards him, he stood up.

"AsalamuAlaikum everyone. Barak Allahu Feekum for coming! As Hud's best friend, I think it only right that I get to make a little speech. I tried to make one at the first one, but Umm Sami practically pulled my ear for trying to ruin her schedule." Everyone laughed. "But I guess it's better that I get to say something now, because I have been able to watch Hud and Jen grow together as a couple this past month, you know being a freeloader and all," the room burst into laughter again, and Rami grinned, "and I've got to say that when I look at them now, I see the type of love that I hope to have one day InShaAllah." At that Jenna stole a glance at Hudayfah who smiled at her, and leaned forward to kiss her cheek eliciting loud whistling from his men.

Once Rami had sat down Rana and Sami spoke next, followed by Emma and Maria, Ali, Hikmah and Hind, and even Jafar said a few words even though he spoke so quietly that the room had to strain to hear him. To everyone's surprise Muhsin had elicted to keep Omar company instead of attending. He had been quiet and distant lately, and Jenna wondered if it was finally sinking in that his life was in danger.

Afterwards, Hudayfah's men sang an Arabic song that to his amazement they had been practicing behind his back, before his college dorm mates did a hilarious skit about their college days together, and it ended with them hoisting him onto their shoulders, and dancing around the room, causing Jenna to laugh hysterically as her husband looked like he was terrified out of his mind by the way he was clinging to Rami and Ali's heads.

"Ready for the cake?" he asked Jenna once they had let him down, and she laughed, straightening out his hair which had become windblown from all the dancing.

"Yes!" she exclaimed, taking his hand, and they walked over to the table which had a modest but beautiful three tier cake that, to Jenna's delight, Rana had ordered from Carlo's Bakery, the bakery featured on Cake Boss. Jenna took the knife, Hudayfah wrapped his hand around hers, and as they made the first cut, the room exploded in cheers and as they fed each other the cheering got louder, leading into laughter as Jenna smashed a piece into his face, running to hide behind Rami when he tried to do the same to her.

They laughed and talked and had a merry time until around midnight, before Hudayfah announced they would take one more group picture, and they needed to be off. So after Daisy had rearranged them so they would all fit into the frame, she took a serious picture, a silly one, and one with them smiling, before Hudayfah took Jenna's hand in his, and pulled her out to the limo, the members of the party throwing confetti onto them. By the time they got into the limo, they were both laughing hysterically, and once they had buckled themselves in, he leaned over, kissing her on her cheek.

"That was an amazing night." He said softly, and she smiled, squeezing his hand gently.

"It really was. JazakillahuKhairan for it." She said, and he brought her hand up to his lips.

"Don't thank me. My only wish was for you to be happy with me." He paused, staring at the window before looking back at her. "Are you?"

It was quiet in the car as their eyes locked with each other, and she put a hand to his cheek.

"Very."

*** They arrived at the hotel fifteen minutes later, and after checking in, they made their way up to the honeymoon suite, and once they had gotten off the elevator and made their way down the hallway and came to a stop in front of one of the rooms, he looked at her expectantly.

"Okay so let's do this right." He opened the door, put in their bags, before turning towards her, a grin on his face.

"What are you going to do?" she asked suspiciously, and he laughed.

"Carry you over the threshold of course. I didn't get to do it the first time we spent the night together, or the first time we went to the house." He opened his arms. "Humor me."

She laughed and stepped forward, giving a slight squeal as he swung her into his arms bridal style, before he stepped into the room.

"Yay!" She exclaimed, and he laughed.

"It wasn't very exciting was it?" he teased, and she laughed before kissing his cheek.

"Not really, but nonetheless it was still very romantic."

He gave her head a kiss before placing her gently on the ground. They stared at each other for a few seconds, and suddenly they were a month back, two strangers who didn't know what they were supposed to be doing.

"Okay none of this awkwardness. We've been living together for a month." He scolded, and she laughed, stepping forward to give him a hug.

"You're right. No awkwardness."

He nodded.

"That's right."

"So I guess I'll go change then." She said and a mischievous glint came in his eye.

"If we are redoing everything, shouldn't I help you unzip your dress?" he teased and she scowled at him, pushing him gently.

"Too bad for you my dress just slipped on!"

"Darn!" he exclaimed, and she rolled her eyes at him before grabbing her bag and heading towards the bathroom, and much like the first time, he stayed in the room to change.

As Jenna entered the bathroom, glancing in the mirror at the blush and huge smile on her face, she couldn't help but laugh at the difference a month had made. A month ago she was on the floor sobbing to her mother because she was scared of him. Now she was both excited and nervous for what was to come and she hurriedly changed into her red nightgown, before fixing her hair, removing her makeup, and after doing a once over, she exited the bathroom.

"Wow. Wow, wow, wow!" Hudayfah exclaimed as she came into view, and she laughed, blushing prettily under his gaze.

"Do you like it? I was told red was your favorite color."

"Well it would be now if it wasn't before." He said jokingly, and she blushed deeper. He reached out his hands for her, and as she came closer, he pulled her all the way against him, brushing his lips across her forehead, before putting his arms around her waist.

"So."

"So?" she asked, and he smiled.

"I had a wonderful time today."

She nodded.

"I did too. Hikmah and Hind are very sweet. How old are they?"

His nose scrunched up as he thought for a second before his eyes lit up.

"Twenty two!"

"I liked them a lot."

"I like you a lot." He said kissing her nose, and she laughed.

"That was corny."

"Corny?!" he said feigning offense, "I'm just trying to be romantic!"

She laughed.

"Well looks like you'll have to try harder!"

"Hmmm, okay." He said, and before she knew it, she found herself pinned to the bed, most of his weight on his arms. He started covering her face with light kisses, and she laughed for a few seconds, though it faded as he hovered poised over her lips. He didn't say anything, just looked into her face as if gaging her reaction, and when she didn't move, he leaned forward slowly...so slowly...

Jenna's heart began to beat fast.

This was it.

His face came closer...

He was almost there...

She could feel his breath...

When his phone rang.

"Oh man." He said softly, pressing his forehead to hers.

"Don't answer it." She pleaded, disappointment coursing through her.

"I'll just turn it off. Okay?" he asked, and when she nodded, he got up off the bed, pulling his phone out of a side pocket of his bag, and after glancing at the screen, he looked at her apologetically. "It's Rami. He wouldn't bother us if it wasn't important. Can I?" he asked and she nodded, straightening out her gown.

"Go ahead."

"What!?" he snapped as he put the phone to his ear, and Jenna stifled a smile. So he was disappointed as well. "What are you talking about? There was no deadline for that! Well tell Davis he's wrong!" he sighed and raked a hand through his hair. "Okay fine. The paper is in my office on my desk!"

At the word office, Jenna felt her blood run cold. She had been desperately trying to forget her visit to his office, and especially what she had found. The words in Marwa's letter had been haunting her for days, and now that they were here together she couldn't help but wonder if he would rather be with her.

Maybe she should ask him...

No Jenna!

This was supposed to be a redo for them. She couldn't ruin it by telling him she not only knew about another woman he loved, but that she had found out by going through his things!

"Rami I swear...it's right there! Yes next to that God forsaken tape dispenser you gave me! Yes! Exactly the one with the red corrections. Okay thanks. Don't call me again tonight. Oh shut up!" He ended the call, before turning off his phone and jumping back onto the bed next to her.

"What was that about?" she asked and he pushed her back down.

"I forgot to fax an important document over for this new project we are working on." He paused to kiss her cheek.

"Ooh a new project! What's it about?!"

He shook his head with a grin.

"I can't tell yet. It's top," he paused to kiss her neck, "secret."

Secret.

Don't say anything Jenna.

Don't ask him.

Don't...

Ask...

Don't ask...

"Who is Marwa?!" she blurted out before she could stop herself.

There was a silence in the room, and he froze, his lips still pressed to her collarbone, before slowly he got up.

"What?" he asked quietly, and she swallowed nervously.

"Marwa. Who is she?"

"Where did you hear that name?" he asked, his voice dangerously low, and he pushed further away from her.

"I...I just did."

"Did Rana tell you?"

She shook her head.

"No."

"Rami?"

"No."

"Where did you hear it Jenna?"

"I...I...read it."

His eyes flashed.

"Where?"

Her hands began to shake and she put them under her legs.

"Muhsin had me freaked out! He told me that you had a fiancée six months ago and I've been holding it inside thinking that I stopped you from being with..."

"Where did you read it Jenna?" he asked cutting her off, and she turned her face down to the bedspread.

"I went through your office."

The silence was almost frightening and after a few seconds she looked up into his face, shrinking back at the look of fury and astonishment on his face.

"You did what?" he whispered finally, and she put her hands over her face.

"I'm so sorry Hudayfah..." she began, and he got off the bed, holding up his hands.

"No. You spied on me!? You went through my office!? You went in purposely trying to find something to hold against me!?"

She scrambled off of the bed, standing in front of him.

"Hudayfah, no that's not it. I just needed to find out if Muhsin was right or not!"

"Then why didn't you ask me!?" he exclaimed. "When have I ever made it seem like you couldn't approach me?!"

"Maybe when you kept secrets from me from the beginning of our relationship!?"

"That still didn't give you the right to go through my office. If you had asked me, I would have told you!" he shook his head in disgust. "I never would have thought you would do that. I can't even look at you right now." He pulled on his shoes, before heading for the door.

"Wait. Where are you going?" she asked clinging to his arm, and he pushed her away.

"I need to think." He said roughly, before he stepped out of the room, still in his pajamas.

Jenna waited for him to come back for almost two hours, and when he finally did, he avoided her gaze, and kicked off his shoes, laying down, and pulling the blanket up over him.

She stared at him for a few moments, wishing he would turn towards her, but he didn't, and even though it wasn't like their first wedding night where a pile of actual pillows were between them, with his back to her, it was as if there was a mountain of them.
