"Where are we going!?" Rami demanded as he followed John up a flight of stairs, Omar and the other men behind him.

"I told you I can't tell you out here." John said in a slightly annoyed voice.

"Well that's not good enough! For all I know you are going to take us to some room and hang us from the ceiling by our thumbs!"

"Rami!" Omar exclaimed, and Rami turned around to glare at him.

"Well don't tell me you aren't worried!"

"Of course I am! But provoking them isn't going to help anything." Omar hissed, and Rami fell silent for the next few minutes until they approached a lone door that was separated from all of the other apartments.

"I'm warning you! I'm about to go all Karate Kid on your butts if you don't tell me what's going on!" Rami exclaimed, and when no one answered, he crossed his arms over his chest. "I have a triple black belt! I'll do it!"

John's response was to come to a halt in front of the door, take out a key, unlock the door and open it, motioning with a hand.

"Welcome to FBI headquarters."

"What the..." Rami muttered, and as he and Omar stepped through the door, their eyes widened as they took in the hustle and bustle that was going on. There were about thirty people in various rooms all talking and walking and sitting at the many computers that were strewn about.

"Woah." Rami said, and Omar nodded.

"Yeah."

They walked further into the apartment, and Rami paused, looking at one of the screens.

"Hey! Isn't that our apartment lobby!?" he exclaimed, and Omar nodded.

"Yeah it is! And this one is Jamaal's!" he said pointing to another one.

Rami scurried over to a screen across the room.

"Here is the front of HudCo too! And the coffee shop across the street! This is ridiculous!"

Suddenly about ten men ran past them, causing them to stumble back out of the way.

"Woah where's the fire?!" Rami called after them gleefully, and Omar glared at him.

"You're enjoying this aren't you?"

Rami nodded.

"Just a little bit! I mean it's the FBI! I knew they were too awesome to be pay by the hour security guards!"

Just then John came over, pulling his glasses off.

"I know you were a bit blindsided by this, but just know we have everything under control. You will have to stay here until we give you the go ahead to leave, but please make yourselves at home. The kitchen is down the hall, there is a rec room right through that door with a television and other various entertainment, and there are bedrooms up those stairs if things take longer than we anticipated. It will be quite hectic in here for the next few hours, and while you are certainly welcome to hang around and watch, perhaps you will be feeling more comfortable doing something else."

"Meaning we should make ourselves scarce." Rami said, and John gave a slight shrug.

"Whatever you'd like. I shall see you both later." He said before leaving them, and the two of them stood a bit awkwardly in the middle of the hallway, when suddenly they heard a loud laugh, and Rami raised an eyebrow.

"Is that...?" he asked, trailing off as they walked down the hallway, and as they stopped in the doorway of the kitchen, Rami laughed.

"Emma!"

"Sami! What the heck are you doing?!"

"What the heck am I doing!? What the heck are you doing with a gun!?" he demanded. "Put it down!"

"Don't listen Rana, he is supposed to be in Arizona!" Jenna exclaimed. "I tried to tell Hudayfah that we saw him, but he didn't take it seriously!"

"Hands up Sami!" Rana ordered, and he stared at her in disbelief.

"I'm your brother!"

"Hands. Up." She said again, and he slowly raised them up, muttering under his breath, before sighing.

"Look, can we just sit down and talk?" he asked, and Rana shook her head.

"Don't move."

"Sami?"

Both girls turned towards the doorway, and as Laith came into the room, Rana hurried to point her gun at him.

"Freeze! Don't move!"

Laith froze.

"What's going on?!" he asked in surprise.

"She thinks we are trying to hurt them." Sami muttered in an annoyed voice, and Rana glanced down, noticing the gun clipped to Laith's belt.

"Put your gun down!" she ordered, and Laith took his gun out of the holster, before placing it on the ground, raising his hands in the air as well.

"Okay, everyone needs to calm down." He said, and as he started to reach into his pocket, Rana stepped closer.

"Don't move!"

"I'm just getting my badge!"

Rana glared at him suspiciously.

"Your what?"

"My badge! I'm FBI!"

"Don't trust him Rana! Hudayfah told me he is Jamaal's second hand man!" Jenna exclaimed, and Rana tightened her hand on the gun.

"Take your hand out of your pocket!" she said, and he put his hand back up.

"I'm telling you, I'm FBI! Jenna, you have to believe me."

"Why should I?" she asked, and he shook his head.

"At Hudayfah's launch party, when Jamaal had us crash it, and you were trying to get out, I'm the one who led you to the exit. When you went with Hudayfah to his office, Jamaal had his men posing as security guards to grab you, and I jammed the elevator so they would have to leave before other people got suspicious. We pulled Omar and Muhsin out of the fire, and the security team that is out with Rami and Omar right now are actually agents as well. My partner even gave Emma a key to get her out of there, but well she got out another way, and is at headquarters right now."

"Emma's safe?" Jenna asked, breathing in relief, and Laith nodded.

"Yes."

There was a moment of silence before Jenna sighed.

"Show me your badge." she ordered, and Rana looked at her in surprise.

"What? Jenna!"

Jenna shook her head.

"Let him do it Rana." She said, and Laith quickly reached into his pocket, pulled out a black wallet, dropped it on the ground, and kicked it over to them. Jenna reached down to pick it up, and opened it.

"Secret Agent Laith Hakim, undercover division."

"It's legit?" Rana asked, and Jenna nodded.

"Yup. Sami, your badge?"

Sami reached into his pocket, and slid it over to Jenna, glaring furiously at his sister as she turned the gun on him. After Jenna glanced at it, she turned it towards Rana.

"Checks out too."

Rana waited a few beats of silence before lowering the gun, and as they put their hands down, Sami turned to Rana in anger.

"I cannot believe you pulled a gun on your own brother!"

Rana rolled her eyes.

"Well we have already had too many bad things happen, and you have to admit you were acting pretty strange." She shrugged. "I was just trying to protect everyone, especially with Hud and Rami and Omar gone."

Laith put his wallet back in his pocket, before clipping his gun back to his belt.

"Okay, we need to hurry and explain something to all of you, and we don't have much time." He said motioning towards the living room, and once they were seated, Jenna leaned forward curiously.

"Why don't we have enough time? Until what?"

"Until Jamaal gets here."

"Ahh! Why!?" she exclaimed, and he put a hand up.

"He is coming for you and Muhsin."

Jenna's face paled, and Rana put an arm around her protectively.

"Well that's not going to happen!"

Sami shook his head.

"We need it to happen."

"Why?" Rana demanded, and Sami glared at her.

"You're going to continue to be hostile?" he asked, and she glared back just as fiercely, and in that moment, Jenna could see the family resemblance.

"Jenna is not going anywhere!"

Laith held up a hand.

"Okay, everyone calm down. Will the two of you just listen to what I have to say?" he asked, and after a few seconds Jenna nodded.

"Go ahead."

"Okay, so the FBI has been after Jamaal for some time now. We've been trying to put him away for years for different crimes him and his men started doing five years ago, but he kept slipping out of our grasp, so about four years ago, my partner, Issam, went undercover, and joined Jamaal's little gang. We had a lot of things against him, and just when we were going to pin him, his father got the death penalty, and he became obsessed with his revenge plan. So while we had been gathering proof and evidence against him, we decided to put off arresting him for though it would put him away for a very long time, he could get out on good behavior, and we didn't want that. So when he started to get involved with Muhsin, I went undercover as well, because we knew we could pinpoint him for attempted murder in addition to his other crimes, and put him away for life if we didn't bust him right away."

"Attempted murder!?" Jenna gasped, and Laith nodded.

"Yes, he has this whole revenge plot against Muhsin because of your Uncle. But if we weren't going to arrest him right away, we couldn't leave all of you unprotected. That's why there is one FBI headquarters across the street from here, where I live, and one across from Jamaal's, were Issam lives."

"Where does Sami come in?" Rana asked.

"We recruited Sami years ago. We wanted someone who knew Jamaal, but as Hudayfah was too invested in the situation, having been friends with Jamaal, and then being personally involved a few years later with him writing checks for Muhsin, we couldn't risk asking him."

Rana turned towards her brother.

"You expect me to believe that you are no longer a professor, but you are now a secret agent!?"

Sami nodded.

"Your big brother is pretty cool huh?" he asked smugly, and she rolled her eyes.

"Okay but why do Jenna and Muhsin have to go with you? And what about me? Maria?"

"Well Jamaal has actually yet to attempt to kill Muhsin. If there is no attempt at killing him, we can't pin him for it. So we need to wait until he actually tries something. Of course we won't actually let him do it, but he has to try it before we can arrest him."

"What about me?" Jenna asked worriedly.

"Well he is pissed that Emma escaped, and he thinks it's Hudayfah's fault, so he wants to get back at him, so he is going to come get you as well. Don't worry, in addition to me and Issam, three other men are agents as well, so you will be safe. As for the rest of you, I know Jamaal is going to search the house, and that is why when you Rana were getting married, I put in a small panic room in the back of the closet in the first room at the top of the stairs. That should hide you, Maria, and Sami until we leave. After that he will take you to the headquarters Emma is at."

"Okay I have one more question. I know you guys were across the street to protect us, but what if we needed protection right away before you could get over here to save us!? What then?!" Rana exclaimed.

"Rana, you really think we would leave you guys alone? Obviously they had to keep up their image, and I couldn't be around all the time, so we recruited one of Hud's men to keep watch." Sami said, standing up, and Jenna exchanged a glance with Rana.

"Who?" Jenna asked after a few moments, and Sami opened the door.

"Come on in Jafar."
