Blue looked threw me like I was glass, he stepped past me and I swear to you all I heard my heart crack.

I closed my eyes, and all I could see was a huge tube getting plunged into his chest cavity.

"K-Ka-" I barely had time to catch Sasha before she nearly collapsed into my arms, "h-he's gone. He didn't even look at me ... I-I slapped him and he d-didn't even flinch" she muttered.

Watching Sasha, hard kick to the balls, Sasha in hysterics is what pushed me over the edge.

Aria stood behind her looking clearly shocked. And I mean dead shocked ... "wh-where'd he go ... he didn't say anything ... he l-left me" she stuttered.

The others came bounding up looking only the perfect mix of angry and afraid, "where the fuck did they go? What's happening?" Bonnie hissed as she turned towards me.

Sasha was still clutching my dress, "the Shadow ... he's going to take them .. steal their powers" I said lowly.

The shock was killing me, my whole body wouldn't unlock even though I was desperately trying to force it to.

"They'll die" Cha whispered out.

We all froze then, because it was then that it really hit home, her saying aloud made it too real.

Everyones head shot to me.

They need direction. Hell I need direction.

I looked over all of them.

They were willing to fight for those batch of assholes, because even though they were assholes they were suppose to come home to us every night.

They were all we really had in the end.

"Okay you bitches, we don't have a lot of time. Sasha where is the signal coming from, the one that is pulling them?" I snapped at her.

She took a deep breath, before setting her face, "two blocks down, a ... tower maybe?" she asked.

Cha nodded, "we drove past a cell tower to get here, it's two blocks away".

"Okay so the cell tower is where the signal is coming from, its controlling them and bringing them to the Shadow. Bonnie, Trina, Sasha, you three are the strongest and stand the best chance. I need you three to try you hardest to slow them down. Hit them with everything you got, because we need time. They'll heal, so do not hold back. Go now" I snapped.

Sasha, Bonnie, and Trina, nodded at me before immediately taking off towards where the boys had gone marching out of.

I turned back to Cha and Aria, "You two with me, we need to take down the tower" I stated quickly before rushing towards the staircase, "Aria you're the smartest, I need you to think about a good way to jam the signal, Cha I'll need your help to stop the signal. We need to get to the roof" I said as we started climbing the staircase.

No lie all three of us bitches were gasping for air by the third staircase.

"How many floors does this woman have?!" Cha cried from behind me where she was on all fours crawling up the stairs.

I was dragging myself up them by now. "I think there's just another flight ... I think" I cried back down at her.

Aria was sweating but unlike Cha and I she wasn't complaining.

I felt bad for her, she had really just accepted her fate with Klaus. I could tell that she thought she was forced into this, and then demanded to just accept what was happening.

But now that he was gone, I could see it in her eyes. That crazed, lost look that had been in each of our eyes when they had walked away from us.

She realized she wasn't being forced into anything, her heart belonged to Klaus, and when he had gone marching out of this building he had taken that with her.

It's really a shock how your emotions sneak up on you.

You never realize you full love someone until something happens, until something can happen.

I kicked off my shoes, as we made it to the last landing.

"Roof. Roof. Where's the roof?" Aria nervously rambled as she spun around looking for the opening.

I looked over at the window.

"Look I found it!" Cha shouts dragging my eyes away from the window I was thinking I would have to hang out of.

She had pulled down a latter from the ceiling, which led to the roof.

We all clambered up in our dresses, "seriously Aria! Are you really not wearing underwear?" Cha shouted in dismay.

"Klaus and I were suppose to have fun tonight" she defended herself.

"Well I'm about to projectile vomit" I hissed down at the both of them as I shoved my body over ledge and ended up in a small room filled to the brim with old junk, but had an open door to the roof.

I stumbled out onto the roof, the cold air hitting my face as I turned and looked around me.

To the right, two blocks down was the cell tower. Aria and Cha followed me out breathing hard as their heads snap towards the cell tower.

I turned to Aria, but before I could say anything a bright flash of light shocked us all about a block away.

Looks like Bonnie, Sasha, and Trina had their hands full.

"Aria, you got to tell me what to do? How do we stop this?" I snapped.

She opened her mouth but was cut off by the sound of a helicopter, we all looked up.

You have got to be kidding me.

There in his creepy ass hood, dressed in all black was the Shadow.

I couldn't see his evil face, but I just knew that he was fucking smirking at us, like the cat who ate the canary.

Like the true ladies that Cha, Aria, and I are we all lifted our hands towards the Shadow and collectively flipped him off.

"Maybe I'll send you his remnants, or maybe I'll just send you his heart in a box. Which ever is cost less to ship" he shouted down before busting into laughter as he flew over to the cell tower and hovered.

"That wasn't even fucking funny" Aria hissed, she looked back at us, "okay first we need a small to serious distraction to make sure he doesn't do shit when we shut his shit down" Aria said looking over at Cha and I.

Cha stepped forward, "oh I've got this" she hissed before shutting her eyes, and letting the air whip around her.

Aria turned her attention to me as Cha started a huge ass tornado in her palm, "okay Katrina, \your turn. You are the only one with the ability to block the signal from the guys" Aria said.

I blinked, "and how do I do that?"

"You need to expand a force field of electricity in order to disrupt the signal from the mind control, the waves will cancel each other out and-"

"Listen in theory that sounds like an amazing plan, could probably actually work, but you forgot one factor. Me. And you say make a force field like I'm making a fruit smoothie" I sighed.

She gripped her forehead, "I don't know how you would do it! Just think ... about putting a blanket over Blue when he's asleep-"

"He would immediately wake up ... and probably shove me"

"PRETEND! I NEED YOU TO STOP THE FUCKING SIGNAL BECAUSE KLAUS IS OUT THERE AND I-I-"

I closed my eyes and imagined I was pulling the blanket over Blue and I, we were just laying in his expensive large bed, and he was knocked after a long day at work.

I could feel the heat burning in my hands.

My eyes snapped open.

Aria was glowing an odd color but I couldn't concentrate on her.

I pushed. Hard.

With everything in me, I pushed, I pulled from Blue but I pushed his power out of me.

Sparks shot out across the sky, interlacing with one another as they continued to shoot out across the sky.

Now I know I'm a boss ass bitch, and I make it all look so elegant and easy, but what was happening hurt.

Like hurt.

I had never had so much power rushing through my body, and it was the most painful thing I'd ever experienced.

It felt like hot rods were being shoved into every pore of my body, and then someone decided to pour rubbing alcohol overtop.

In short word?

It burned like a motherfucker.

"You've got this Katrina, they've woken up. Just give them a second, just hold on another second" Aria's voice shot out to me.

I watched as the helicopter that the Shadow had been struggling in was thrown into a building by a huge tornado.

The cell tower tilted slightly before it collapsed in on itself.

"Katrina! You can stop now!" Aria's voice screeched into my consciousness.

I tried to stop, but the power that was pulling threw me was so large, I couldn't stop it.

It was completely consuming me, I went to drop to my knees when two large hands caught me before I could hit the ground.

It was the a gate was closed as soon as he touched my skin.

The bolts immediately stopped, the power immediately shutting off.

I tried to clear my swimming vision, I blinked able to watch Blue's angry face swimming in my vision.

He had a large blue bruise under his eye.

"Why are you so stupid?"

I tried to give him a smile, but the tiredness won out.

I closed my eyes.



BLUE'S POV

Assine, stupid, dumb, inept, slow, foolish, naive, witless, brainless, idiotic, moronic, unintelligent-

"She's awake" Aria's bright voice shot threw my consciousness.

I shoved her out the way and hurled my way out the door.
