I leaned back in the plush seat of the private plan we were on.
Stuart, the man who had driven our get away boat, was now flying the private plane, taking us directly to the Bahamas.
We should be landing a less than thirty minuets.
To say I was shocked that Bonnie was able to pull this off would be right. But what had shocked me more is the desperate to clingy hug Stuart had given Bonnie when we had gotten to his boat. And the only person he spoke to the whole journey?
Bonnie.
She was currently in the cock pit with him, talking.
Aria, Sasha, Trina, Cha, and I were all laid out on the nice seats, relaxing, and getting slightly buzzed with the alcohol from the plane.
"Okay so what's with Bonnie and Stuart?" Aria asked after tipping back her second drink.
Cha snickered, while Sasha rolled her eyes, "it's her ex boyfriend, who is about to be her dead ex boyfriend, when Herc finds out. Especially since they barely got together, because of him" she smirked.
Interesting, "what do you mean-"
Right then Bonnie slammed open the cockpit, quickly shutting the door behind her, before she sighed and slowly walked over to us, before slumping onto the couch next to me.
"Spill the tea, whore! Who is this Stuart and how did Herc steal you away?" I snickered at her as she looked at me shocked that I knew the information.
Her eyes narrowed in on Cha, "you big mouthed bitch" she hissed.
Cha snickered, "oh come on its a pretty cute story!" she laughed devilishly.
Bonnie rolled her eyes, "yea Herc stole me away ... figuratively and literally when he came storming in on my wedding. The rest is a real fucked up shade of grey ... especially when I realized he was the guy who was constantly flirting with me while he was working on the construction at my office. It was Stuart and I's wedding he crashed and made me miss. Although, now it's my favorite day" she sighed a small smile lighting up her lips.
"That sounds like a long story" I say shocked. Damn, he took her from her wedding day?
"At least he wasn't stalking you for three months before he finally made a move, which was stopping a car from rolling over top of you" Cha snickered.
"Awww so he saved your life first?" Aria smiled.
Cha's smile dropped, "no, he saved my life after he was the one who threw the semi truck that almost crushed me to death" she deadpanned.
The girls laughed, but something real was plaguing my mind, "what do you guys know about ... super babies?" I ask quietly.
The atmosphere immediately changed.
Trina, bright, smiling, Trina looked like a wilted flower the second the words escaped my lips. Even Sasha had a far away look hit her face.
Cha and Bonnie winced, like subject was sore for them as well.
"I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't have even said any-" I stuttered out an apology quickly, but it was Trina who stopped me.
"What do you want to know?" she asked. I'd never seen pain on her face like I was seeing now.
"You know about super babies?", I asked cautiously.
Her face had a far away look on it, "Yes. I have one" Trina smiled sadly as her head looked down.
Cha and Bonnie winced horribly, Sasha looked away something dark crossing over her face.
"They grow so quickly, you're pregnant for nearly only seven months, compared to nine. I don't know what it's like with other Mother's, but when you have a super child that connection that blooms between that child and mother is so strong. I could see exact what type of man my son is going to be. I saw his smile, and all before he even look his first breath into this world. It's one of the most beautiful things I have ever experienced" she said a rueful smile coming over her face as the memories hit her like bricks.
"Shane was so excited. Much more on edge, but that was expected. He was so happy. I was so happy. ... He wouldn't tell me why, but he was so nervous as well, past the normal new father nerves, I mean. He wouldn't tell me. He should have told me. He really should have told me" she muttered off, she looked so gone.
No where near where she truly was, on this plane with us.
Everyone watched her, listened to the brokenness in her voice.
She was a shattered soul.
She blinked as her eyes followed the horrific memory she was forced to live through, "I went into labor. He ... he wouldn't let me go to the hospital, I was so confused. But the pain got to bad, I needed to go. He looked defeated, that's when I should have known. But we went, and ... that little screech, that heart beat, it is everything. I've never felt so complete in my entire life than when I saw those bright yellow eyes blink back at me. They were the same exact color as Shane's. It was perfect. Those five minuets, where I held my child, with my husband overtop were perfect" she said as a single tear drew down her face.
I couldn't breathe.
True and utter pain flashed across her face as she whipped that tear away, blinking back at us. Her brow furrowed like the memory was pushed so far back, she had to search for what happened next.
It was that traumatic.
"I'm sure you've heard of the Council. The super secret Super Council that dictates the lives of every Super. They balance the good and the evil ... they make the Super's who they are. Apparently, my child wasn't just my child. But a very valuable asset that needs to be trained correctly. Like a weapon" she spat.
Trina has only ever held happiness in her voice to hear the true gut wrenching hatred coming out of her mouth was like a kick to the chest.
That moment had done something to her.
"They took your baby?" Aria asked quietly, just as shocked at me.
"It was five minuets before they came barging into the hospital room. Shane's body hit the wall so hard. I didn't think he could get up. But he did. They hit him again and again and again, until he was just a blood puddle on the floor. They turned to me next. They had the darkest capes I'd ever seen. It was completely pitch black. They smelled like ... ash. Their faces were hooded, I only heard the voice. 'You've done a service', like I had helped build a house or had been working for charity. A service. As if the baby boy in my hands wasn't mine. But they took him like he wasn't mine.
I couldn't move. All I could do was scream and watch as they took my child from me and walked away. Shane ... still on the floor, crawling in his own blood to try to get to me. His limbs were so broken. They broke everything" she muttered as she looked up at us.
The silent horror floated around the room like gas.
Trina's eyes cut up to me, "I haven't seen my baby in three years" she finished. She looked soulless in the moment.
Sweet Trina, lover of all, soulless.
My chest cracked.
Sasha let out a dark laugh, "the fucked up thing is, you can't blame them when they try to stop it either. They know. Power like that isn't cheap, and apparently the Council takes their taxes very seriously".
I looked away, the fear settling in my bones.
Could I be pregnant?
I didn't feel different, but I was also oblivious as shit.
This Council ... they seemed to have a hand in everything around me, the people around me specifically.
I don't know what, but something sparked in me. Something I've never felt before tingled in my limbs. What had happened to Trina was wrong, and something was pushing inside of me. Like a wall, beginning me to remember.
There was something I was suppose to do with this.
Fix it some way.
I looked at Trina and Sasha, two women who had obviously fallen to the effects of what the Council controls, forcing them to give up something that had belonged to them.
We will fix it.
Blink. What the fuck was that?
Silence.
Shit ... am I hearing voices .. again?
The plane hit the ground, pushing me out of my own mind, as everyone turned to look out the windows.
We had landed in the Bahamas.
It was time to get shit done.
"We know that plan right?" I asked everyone. Their faces slipping back into the matter at hand.
Saving our Villains.
Blue's POV
I dropped Hercule's heavy ass down as we landed in the sand in the Bahamas.
The sun beating down my neck, making sweat roll down my body as the other's started popping up near us.
Snake landed face first into the sand, skidding a little before he body finally stopped. Vapor dropped down next, small tornado around his feet having carried him here.
"Shit man! I told you to brace yourself, not jump" he snickered as Snake turned over and proceeded to throw up a pound of sand.
Gross.
Glare dropped down next, with Klaus quickly behind as he raced across the water. "Oh shit, I got a cramp" Klaus cried as he leaned over next to Glare who was chuckling lightly at my assine brother. "Does anyone have a banana?" he cried as he tried to stretch himself out.
Carter dropped down next, having flew here with Ana carrying him.
"Let's get them and then get the fuck out of here" I growled at everyone as they slowly made their way to their feet.
I looked around, the building according to Snake, should be one of the largest on this island. And should be pretty secluded, near one of these beaches.
Snake looked down at his forearm, where a small screen was lit up.
... Kind of jealous ... I wonder how he got that upgrade? My eyes traveled down to his crotch where Pony had sewed a sock into to cover the hole Sasha had cut out.
Don't laugh.
"According to this ... the building should be-" but he was cut off by the sound of an explosion. The ground shook slightly from the sheer force.
Dark, black clouds of smoke immediately filled the sky.
Please don't be her. Please don't be her. Please don't be -, "should be right over there" Snake said opened mouthed in shock as he pointed towards the billowing clouds of smoke coming from further down on the beach.
Fuck me.
"What were they here for? A solid two hours?!" Hercules growled in complete bafflement as another blast hit the building, making the earth around his shake.
That sneaky little bitch. Scout's honor. I'll show her no girl scout badge having ass some honor when I ring her fucking neck.
"Blake ... I think you need to calm down" Klaus said slowly as his eyes drifted over to the ocean. I turned and followed his eye sight as a huge black cloud was rolling in quick from over the ocean.
It was at least five miles long as it devoured the beach.
Something in my chest tightened in ... worry.
I looked back over at Klaus, who was still watching the sky, "that's not me" I said.
Everyone turned to me shocked, before we all looked our heads over at the building, "how is she bringing in that much power?" Glare whispered in astonishment.
I knew.
And fuck, this was not going to be good.
Katrina's POV- 20 minuets ago
"Jesus Sasha, I thought you said you had a way into the building!" I hissed at her shocked.
"I do! It was this!" she smirked down at her handy work.
"You fucking sociopath" I deadpanned as I looked down at the two bodies that belong to security guards that were sprawled out at our feet.
Trina looked like she was going to have a panic attack, before I had shoved her into the building with a pass. She should be opening on of the doors for Cha and Bonnie on the opposite side of the building. They were going to the top level, where secret shit was written down.
Sasha, Aria, and I got the short fucking sticks where we had to do down to the basement where the actual secret shit was held.
Aria was currently trying to drag one of the 200 pound security guards while Sasha and I bickered, "Can you two shut up and help me please" she hissed out of breath, as she struggled.
I sighed as Sasha and I grabbed one foot and helped her drag the unconscious body into one of the supply rooms. We dropped him unceremoniously before repeating it with the other unconscious man.
Aria and I were breathing hard by the time we grabbed the other security guard and swiped ourselves into the building.
The place was huge, and had a very professional feel to it. "Good call with the business clothes Ari" Sasha said as she smoothed down the pencil skirt she had shoved me to get. I was currently in slacks and a blouse, while Aria had a nice professional dress on.
"Thanks" she said quickly, before leading us deeper in the building.
Professionals were running around mindlessly engrossed in their own work as the walked past us without realizing we didn't belong.
Aria continued through the main lobby towards the elevator.
This little freaky genius had memorized the whole floor plan during the plane trip here. She pushed the button to up on the elevator, and waited.
"Shouldn't we be going down, instead of up?" I asked curiously as I whispered, trying not be heard by the people moving quickly around us.
"They wouldn't make it that easy. This building has a side entrance from the second floor that takes you all the way down to a room that is adjacent to the real basement" she said calmly like it made sense.
"Oh ...kay" Sasha said as he looked around, thankfully the elevator dinged open, letting us all step in easily. It closed as Aria quickly pressed the second level button.
My heart was beating so fast, if we got caught, I don't know what would happen. We would probably need to be saved, annoyingly, and when they came. Shit would be real.
I know Blue is probably having a shit fest when he realized that I had left, and the girl scout thing probably didn't help the matter.
He was probably salty as fuck.
The elevator dinged open. I took a step to get out, but Aria held her hand out stopping me. "Wait" she whispered as her eyes looked at the door. She took a small step forward before pressing the second button down and holding it.
Nothing happened.
Then everything happened.
The elevator flew in. As in, in. Like the wrong way. Elevators go up and down, but this one decided to beat all expectations and fly backwards, sending us tumbling forwards.
We all looked at each other in shock as the elevator finally stopped moving. "What did you do?" I asked Aria. Her eyes wide, her hair was all over the place as fear rolled off her body.
Before she could even answer the doors dinged open, like they didn't just make us three shit ourselves from the feeling of the elevator falling.
We slowly peaked out, before stepping out slowly.
I don't know what I thought was going to happen, something like a swat team of 100 was on my mind. But it was deadly silent.
There was no sounds of people, only the hum of machines as they worked.
"Is this creepy or is it just me?" Sasha whispered to us.
Aria and I nodded absent minded as our eyes continued to shoot around the long hallway that had a room connected to it at the end.
"This seems real risky" Sasha muttered slowly.
Aria nodded, "you guys ready to go?" she asked as she stepped out first.
"Yep" Sasha and I answered as we followed her down the long hallway.
I don't know what I expect to find, maybe like a large missile that will destroy all of the world? Not really sure what to expect anymore from these villains. But something was different about this villain.
I almost feel like he doesn't follow the societal rules of being a super, which can only mean ... he used that serum on himself.
Great, so this psycho ass could be anyone.
Normal turned Super, but still has extra crazy on the fucking side.
I can't figure it out though, something was bothering me about this whole situation. I almost feel like I was missing a huge piece of the picture, that was right in front of me.
Everything that had happened was connected ... but something was wrong ... off about this whole thing. I seemed oddly ... familiar. Like I could knew the game that was being played.
Odd right?
I couldn't think much on it, because at that moment we crossed over into the room and the air left my lungs.
Each one of us froze at the sight that stood in front of us.
I was going to be sick.
"Oh my god" Sasha whispered as she slapped her hand over her mouth.
Aria was gripping her chest as her eyes took in the room.
At least. At the least. There were 30 people in here, Supers in here. A good portion of them were on tables ... their bodies a deathly shade of grey as they laid on tables, dead.
So many were dead.
That wasn't the worst part.
They had long precise cuts that lined their bodies.
My stomach lurched.
They were test subjects.
No more than rats.
My eyes looked over them into the large tubes that were filled with a strange blue liquid. Inside these tubes more Supers. They were suspended motionless in the tubes of liquid, eyes closed.
They almost looked at peace. If not for the collection of tubes that protruded out of their bodies, from their chest to their stomaches, to their legs and arms.
Sasha let out a small whimper as her eyes took in the horrific sight in front of us.
Something in me was dropping and fast.
A pull I had never felt before was swirling inside my body, from my chest to my stomach. I couldn't deal.
This was something I had never thought I would ever see.
Aria slipped on a brave face as she walked forward, her eyes looking at the control panels that dictated the lives of these people.
People who were turned into nothing more than data.
Sasha walked forward slowly, her eyes watering as she stopped in front of one tube. She froze as her eyes looked at the individual inside.
It was a woman, her long curly hair was suspended around her face, she was in nothing except a white sports bra and underwear. Tubes were scattered all around her body, shoved deep into her skin.
Sasha put her hand against the tube, "Maria?" she whispered quietly.
Something was happening to me. My eyes were looking around at the massacre in front of me. I was so angry.
Shockingly, anger cursed through my body like a wave.
My fist unconsciously curled as something settled inside of me.
Protection.
I can't say for sure what it was that pushed me over the edge. To see these people, these men and women who were so special, who helped others, who's nature was beautiful even if it was good or evil. To see these people taken advantage of, used like paper.
I was grasping for something, anything. Because I was going to fall.
It was absolutely sick, I couldn't really think straight, it was like having an overflow of thoughts and emotions being thrown at you all at the same time. So much information hitting me in the face over, and over, and over, again. But one thing, I knew for sure.
This place had to end, it was going to be nothing but rubble when I was done with it, and nothing was going to change that. I slipped into something un-Katrina like. I became strong, sharp, and focused. I knew what needed to happen and it needed to happen now.
"Aria can you get them out?" I asked her as her mind processed the control panel.
"I think so", she said before jumping into immediately typing. The tubes connected to the 20 or so Super's that could technically still be alive in the tubes detached themselves soon after Aria started typing. "I'm sending this information to myself, and then I'm go to erase all their files" she said as she got into the zone.
"Who the fuck would do something so horrible?" Sasha grounded out, her anger coming in harder than her heart break.
I shrugged as I walked over to the wall where an axe was hanging near the fire alarm, "I don't know, but I do know this. They're going to get jacked the fuck up" I growled as I stormed over to the closest tube.
I didn't even think, I just swung.
The liquid rushed out of the tube, making the glass break completely.
The man who had been in the tube hit the ground hard, as he flowed with the liquid that had encased him.
I watched him sharply. It wasn't a second later before he was rolling over and puking up the blue liquid he had been trapped in for however long.
I moved on.
"Wh-what happened?" he called out as Sasha picked up a chair and hit the tube her friend was in, freeing them.
I turned to him, feeling a power I never knew I had rush through me, "What's your name?" I asked him calmly.
"Trevor .. but I don't underst-"
I cut him off, "free them. Now" I said. He stumbled to his feet, nodding before his hand transformed into a sharp ice pick. He whirled around with the grace of a lion and opened the tube next to his.
I threw my axe to Sasha, as Aria continued her typing.
The newest freed member was a woman with bright red hair. She looked up at me after throwing up the liquid that had collected inside her lungs. Her drenched form shook in front of my feet. I leaned down and looked her straight in the eye, "you can help me" I stated.
She looked confused, but once her eyes attached to mine, a calmness settled over her face. She nodded, "are you ready?" I asked her.
She nodded a small smile on her lips as her bright red eyes that matched her hair started to slowly glow a bright red, "what do you need?" she said.
Blue's POV
Oh my fuck.
The wind was blowing at unimaginable speeds as the clouds that were sparking with electricity hit the beach.
This psycho bitch had somehow drew in a fucking electricity storm.
One almost as powerful as I could create.
Two fucking minuets. She couldn't even wait two minuets before she decided she was going to completely destroy a whole fucking island.
After nearly dying to get to this god forsaken building that was currently billowing smoke I was livid.
I'm not sure how the Bratz were able to sneak into this building, but from the unconscious security guards, I'm pretty sure that shit was not fucking legal.
Breathe Blue.
Breathe.
"They really don't know how to be inconspicuous do they?" Vapor sighed as he kicked the door down, making it fly off its hinges.
I growled in agreement as I stormed into the building.
Absolute chaos.
That what her fucking name should be, fucking Chaos.
How that pathetic little infant was able to cause such damage will never not fucking surprise me.
There were people running around like fucking ants in a panic. It was smoky, making it hard to see, and the annoying screams of fear that usually bring me smiles on made me angrier.
"Where the fuck could they be?!"
"This was not apart of the plan!"
"I hope they are alright, Katrina did not sound happy over the phone"
All our heads snapped to the sounds of Cha, Bonnie, and Trina's idiotic rambling.
Shane moved like a train as he straight up shoved people to the ground to get across the room. Hercules and Vapor weren't far behind, "I've got the smoke" Vap said as he started a small tornado that sucked the smoke out of the air, clearing our vision immediately.
Those three dumb asses stood over by the elevator, looking like children who were caught stealing cookies.
Shane crushed Trina to his chest in the sappiest hug I have ever been forced to watch. "You can't scare me like that ... you're all I have left" he whispered shakily into her skin.
She hugged him back harder.
I knew about their story. I had promised to help, eventually.
Vapor was looking over Cha's body, making sure she was whole and safe. Herc on the other hand was gripping Bonnie's chin harshly as he growled something low in her ear that made her face turn a pretty shady of 'oh shit'.
"Where are the others? Where is Katrina, Aria, and Sasha?" Ana asked nervously as her eyes wandered around.
She could feel it in the air. Something was off, a power way stronger than we knew was coming.
If only they knew it was already here. If that dumb ass didn't shut herself down she was going to bring in way more attention than either of us bargained for.
Klaus stepped in front of me, "you feel that right?" he twitched slightly, unable to stay still, especially when his instincts were throwing him into a frenzy.
I nodded, "yes but-"
"Why isn't it effecting you, Blake? What is it?" he whispered lowly to me.
I looked away. Fuck, this was going down hill. "It's her isn't it. That asshat at the Convention called her a Source ... I thought he was just lying, messing around. It's true isn't it?" Klaus hissed his face going white.
I could smell his fear.
"She's a Source, and you knew" he sighed as the information hit him.
Well that secret didn't last long.
I grabbed him quickly, "you say shit to anyone and she's dead. Do you understand that? She's a myth and if they find out, they'll have no choice. It's law" I growled warningly at my little brother.
Focus settled over his features, "we need to get out of here. That storm ... Blue the Council will know" he said.
I nodded, he was right. Too bad that idiot didn't even know what she was, or that she was practically stamping the sign 'kill me slowly' across her forehead with the attention she was bring to herself.
"They are in the basement ... they should be coming up any-" a side door swung open with force, revealing a young boy around the age of 12.
He was drenched, his hair wet and dripping as he looked around confused. I noticed the blood running down his body next, little wounds littered around his skin, like he'd been stabbed with something.
His eyes shined bright purple as he looked around, a large lions paw was in the place of his hand, before it morphed back into normal five fingers. His eyes died down back to a brown color, "clear!" he shouted behind him.
And then she appeared.
Her hair was everywhere, just like the first day I met her.
Her large brown eyes were sparked with determination as her head peaked out and she started pushing bodies out of the door.
Super after Super.
Before finally her eyes looked up and latched onto mine.
There was a audible click. We were back where we needed to be. Together.
The tightness in my chest immediately went away. I felt lighter ... stronger even. All because of her. She was practically buzzing with electricity as her body pulled in the storm that I could feel hovering over us.
Aria came sprinting between her and directly into Klaus' arms. She was shaking, "it's so terrible. The bodies. So many bodies" she whimpered into Klaus' arms.
Sasha stumbled out next, wrapped around a woman with dark curly hair. She was helping her stand as she came out. "Maria?" Snake whispered in shock as he made his way to them, before yanking them both into a large embrace.
My eyes locked back with Katrina.
Something in her slipped, she sagged with relief before full on ugly sprinting towards me. I barely registered I had opened my arms when she flew into them, wrapping her entire body around mine.
Absolutely complete.
"I'm sorry" she whispered into my skin as we clutched each other.
"You will be, you fucking dumb ass" I whispered back to her as she chuckled lightly.
She thought I was joking.
She'll see.
"What they did to these people ..." she muttered into my suit as he pulled her head back to look at me.
"You have to shut down the storm" I said as my eyes searched hers.
They were starting to move from a dark brown to a milky grey around her iris. She wasn't stealing my power like before. No, she was creating it this time.
She shook her head, "I can't Blue. This place needs to be taken down, all the way. Nothing left" she growled at me as anger came back into her eyes.
Hot.
But we don't have time for that now.
I look at the determination in her eyes, a small smirk tilting on my lips as the delicious waves of power she was giving off snaked from her body to mine. Giving me power.
She landed on her feet as I set her down, "okay Katty, you want to see what all the fuss is over Blue Doom? Destroying shit is my speciality" I smirked down at her.
