"Ariabelle Gwendolyn Benson!" Alanzo yelled.

But I was more concerned about the look on my mothers face. She looked ready to faint, and she looked sick. My grandmother and Aunt Loretta went over to her and helped her out of her seat, they took her upstairs. Slowly I turned back to Alanzo, I cringed when I saw his face, the face he makes is a mix between disappointment and pissed off, Ive never gotten that look from him. I have to face him before going to check on my mother.

"Ariabelle what is the meaning of this? You know how we feel about bikers." My grandfather said.

"Oh you mean because Ariabelles mother was married to a biker?" Mathis asks.

I cringed on the inside when I see Alanzo turn his attention on Mathis. How the fuck do you know about that?

"Kelly told not only him but the entire MC when she came by to tell us about the house."I say trying to get Alanzo attention off of Mathis and onto me.

"Why the hell would that bitch know that?" One of my cousins ask?

"How do you think? Gabriel always told that bitch everything since high school." Marco stated. Everybody at the table nodded.

While Alanzo and Mathis was having a stare down the doorbell rang. Everybody at the table was looking at the entryway to see who would walk in. Well everybody except Alanzo and Mathis. And in walks Gabe. And once everybody sees him they start at him, all at once and again everybody except for Alanzo and Mathis. With all this shouting going on, my head is starting to receive a migraine a really bad migraine, I collapsed in my chair and placed my head in my hands. Suddenly there is a loud bang that shuts up the room and breaks Alanzo and Mathis stare down. Looking between my fingers I can see that Mathis looked at me and got up out of his chair. I didn't know where he went because I closed my eyes to try and control the migraine and opened them when I felt a hand on my hair. Pulling my head out of my hands and saw Mathis right beside me.

"Aria?" Marco asked me. I could hear the concern in his voice.

Looking over at him I try to give a smile but cant. When I couldn't smile I went with a lie. "I'm fine Marco, I promise."

"Belle you are not fine darling." My Aunt Lia says.

"She right dear." Alanzo agrees, maybe you should go home.

"Its not about me not feeling well that you want me to leave. You want me to leave because of Mathis." I told him.

"Belle please think about your mother." Alanzo said.

"When I heard that the migraine didn't matter at all. Think about my mother? I get it she doesn't like bikers because of her past. But she's had years to get over what happened to her. But did any of you think about me and how I was doing with this? Did any of you think about how I was dealing with this? Did any of you think about how I was coping with this? Did any of you think for one goddamn minute that I could get through this on my own after you all knew how I got married? "

When I finished there was dead silence, I had their answer so I continued. "No you didn't. The only person in this family who was concerned after finding out who I was married and how I got married to him is Marco. Gabriel was the first to know and at first he was concerned, but now would rather laugh at what I was going through, My mom probably wont ever talk to me again, Alanzo would rather blame me and everyone else would rather condemn me. I needed my family. Whenever one of the family needed something from me, I was glad to help. But tonight you all except for Marco proved to me that when I needed you the most you didn't want to help all because of who I am married to. With that being said, I'm leaving and please don't bother to call me unless something important comes up that needs my attention."

Mathis was beside me and took my hand. I handed him my car keys because I was in no position to drive. He opened the front door and out we went, I felt a weight being lifted off my shoulders but I was hurt. My family didn't care to support me all because of Mathis. When we got to the car Mathis opened the passenger side door and helped me in. Looking up at the house with sad eyes I saw my family at the steps but I looked away. I didn't even want to look up at my parents bedroom window. Mathis was still outside the car on the driver's side looking at my family before getting in and starting the car. He grabbed my hand and kissed the back before placing it on his leg and driving off.

"I know you probably don't want to talk but are you okay Aria?"

"You're right I don't want to talk but I'm fine. When Mathis looked at me, I sighed. I have a migraine that's all. Where are we heading to? Our house or the Clubhouse?"

"Clubhouse for right now. I need to see how the run went down tonight."

Fine was all I said before I closed my eyes. The next thing I know I'm being lifted up out of the car. I'm awake a little bit but I can see that were at the clubhouse and Killer is holding the door open for Mathis. Through blurred eyes I can see that the club is still awake and must be waiting for us. God help them if there is another riddle and their asses cant figure it out. I felt Mathis sigh and knew he must be thinking that thought too.

"If the club is waiting for Aria to unriddle another riddle then wait. Tonight has not been a good night for either of us." Mathis told them.

"Is that why Ariabelle has tear streaks on her cheeks?" Killer asked.

I had tear streaks on my cheeks? I must have cried in my sleep. I needed a good cry about everything but I wanted to cry when I was alone. Oh well beggars cant be chooser. Again I felt Mathis sigh.

Yes. Was all he said. I could feel him moving and hear footsteps behind us. Mathis stopped I guess in front of his room and whoever was following us must have opened the door for him. Mathis walked over to his bed and gently placed me down on top of the bed and pulled the covers on top of me.

"What happened Mat?" Killer asked.

"It was going so great at first and then an uninvited guest showed up. He mentioned Las Vegas and about how Aria would've been his if it wasn't for me. He looked at her mom and said how Aria followed in her mothers footsteps. He left after that and then Arias family looked at her for answers. She wasn't willing to tell them at first-"

"Well why the fuck not?" Killer interrupted and sounded pissed.

"I think she was wanting to tell her parents in private. Might have been a good thing if she did because they all started in on her. And her dad and I got into a pissing contest."

"Damn, so none of them took the news calmly before they started in on her?" Killer asked gently.

"None of them except for one of her brothers, Marco, her other brother Gabriel was making it seem like a joke."

"What about her mother? What did she have to say?" Killer asked.

"Don't know. She was taken out of the dining room after that little bombshell by Arias grandmother and one of her aunts. But she looked ready to faint and Aria looked upset but wasn't willing to show it. When Aria started talking about how she needed them and all that, I could tell her family has never seen her that vulnerable. I think Aria puts on a front in front of them even when that uninvited guest started talking about Vegas, she never put down that front."

My phone started ringing after Mathis finished that thought. By the ringtone that was playing I knew it was Marco. Suddenly the ringing stopped so either Mathis answered or he let it go to voicemail.

"Hello." Mathis answered the phone.

"Mathis its Marco. How's Ariabelle?" The earpiece was up loud enough that I could hear without it being on speaker.

"She's asleep. Ill have her call you tomorrow if she wants too. Goodnight Marco." Mathis said.

"I'll let you get some sleep. You need it and don't worry what I heard stays in this room man." Killer said.

"Thanks man and good night." Mathis said.

The last thing I heard before falling completely back to sleep is hearing footsteps walking around the room. The lights went off and Mathis clothes ruffling as he took them off then slid into bed with me. Mathis and I are woken up in the middle of the night by my phone going off, getting out of the bed I went to find my phone.

"Phone is on the dresser babe." Mathis mumbled.

"Thanks." I tell him as I walk to the dresser.

Picking up the phone I look to see who is calling and its...my mother. I sigh as I walk out of the room. I answer the phone as I'm walking towards the front room, bar area whatever its called.

"Hi mom." I say softly, I go and sit at the bar because I might need a drink after this call.

"Ariabelle Gwendolyn Benson what the hell were you thinking bringing a goddamn biker into my home after what happened with Blade!" My mother yelled at me.

"Mom please just listen to me." I pleaded with her.

"No. I thought you would learn after what your father did to us. I thought that once you figured out that Mathis was a biker of your fathers Motorcycle Club that you would divorce him." My mother stated.

"Mom why would I divorce Mathis? He has been nothing but kind and sweet and loving towards me even though he hardly knows a thing about me. He's not dad why cant you see that? Why cant you see that? You didn't even get to know him, why cant you trust me to make the right decisions?" I pleaded with her again.

"Because you cant make the right decisions Ariabelle." My mother said.

I don't know why but something just hit me. "Mom are you drunk?"

"You do not get to ask me that question young lady. Before I go I just need to tell you this." My mother paused.

"What do you need to tell me?" I asked slowly.

"Don't rush me. I do not want you coming back to this house until you divorce that biker."

"Mom. I gasped but it was too late she had hung up."

I just sat there. I couldn't believe what my mother had just said. I couldn't come back to the house I grew up in just because she doesn't like the fact that I'm married to a biker. I'm just shocked I never thought my mother would call me up drunk and said I was never allowed back home. Feeling a hand on my shoulder freaked me out, before I could do anything arms wrapped themselves around me, stopping me from punching the living shit out of them. If they were saying anything I couldn't hear them, I could only feel my hurt and anger and wanting to take it out on someone other than my mother.

Hands cupped my face and I could see Mathis looking down at me with a worried face. Seeing him there broke my wall down. I couldn't stop myself, I just broke down. Shakes, tears and trembling lip overtook my body. Mathis didn't do anything but held me to him and let me cry for as long as I needed and wanted to. My own mother couldn't understand, she is still blinded by her anger from what Blade did that she couldn't and cant see how happy Mathis is making me even though we hardly know each other. Why couldn't she get past her own anger and the past to see to the future.

I've finally calmed down a little, Mathis picked me up and grabbed my phone and took us back to his room. How can mom put all the blame on me when it was Lucas drug that made me get married. She can't even look past her past with Blade to see that Mathis is nothing like dad. I seen the difference between them every day but she's too blinded to see. To be so pissed off to basically disown her only daughter is hurtful.

I didn't get any sleep after the phone call from my mother, it was six in the morning when I got out of bed and went to the bar area. I didn't expect to see anyone there but Blade was. Memories of us, of a family came to the forefront of my mind but after what happened last night I wasn't ready to deal with him or the memories, grabbing a beer I turned my back and started walking to the kitchen when I was stopped by a hand grabbing my wrist.
