As soon as I heard that riddle, I had an idea about who sent that. I could feel the color drain from my face, and Mathis was looking at me the whole time he said that riddle. I knew he was concerned about me when my body went stiff and the color left my face. I hadn't heard that riddle since I was eleven, I thought that this would be over. But why would this riddle be sent to my dad, no wait to Blade I can't even call Blade my father anymore. Did Blade have something to do with what happened six weeks after he left. I was in my own little world, that I didn't hear Mathis calling out to me. Only when Mathis started shaking me did I come out of my head.

Looking up at Mathis I saw a look of concern and pain. Why was he in pain? Mathis drew me into his arms closer than anyone ever did before. I couldn't help but feel safe inside his arms, but I knew that no matter what my past was catching up with me, one way or another. And I wasn't exactly thrilled that the truth about my past would be coming out be I wanted it too. If Luca every found this out then everyone I cared about would be used against me. I can't let that happen, I have to be helping out during this time so I can finally figure out who caused me pain after Blade left. And if working with Blade helped then swallowing my pride and curse words about him would have to stop, at least until we find out.

I needed a drink, and it's only seven thirty in the morning. Pulling myself out of his arms I walked into the clubhouse. When I came in everybody was on edge, they wanted redemption for what was done to one of their members. Ignoring them and walking to the bar to get a Bud before telling Blade that he was looking for a person, but I doubt he would listen to me. But I had to try right? I knew they were still staring at me and still wondering who I am to the club, but they would have to get over it. Now isn't the time nor place. Hearing a door open I looked over and saw the conference room door opening, out comes Killer, Blade, and the prospect.

The prospect looked worse for wear, I mean they did a number on him. His face was so swollen I doubt his own family could even know who he was. One of his eyelids were swollen shut, he had bruises covering his face, his lips were bloodied and looked like someone was trying to cut his lips off. The prospect was shirtless, and his ribs and chest were also black and blue, he may have some broken or cracked ribs. But I couldn't see if he had anymore injuries before hands covered my eyes, Mathis. Grabbing his hand off my eyes, I looked at him and rolled my eyes. Hearing footsteps coming my way I turned to see Blade and Killer walking towards me. My body stiffened up again and my hands went to my neck but Mathis grabbed my hands and gently rubbed his hands across my neck.

Looking at Mathis's eyes I knew he was sorry. Sorry that he didn't stop him in time. Sorry that I had bruises on my neck. Sorry he couldn't get Blade off me faster. I grabbed one of his hands that were on my neck and gently squeezed silently telling him it was okay. My body was still stiff when Killer and Blade were beside us. Killer was looking me over to see if I was alright before looking at my neck. Blade was also looking at my neck while I was looking at his face. He had a two black eyes and a busted lip. Looks like they didn't have much of a fight before the prospect came into the clubhouse. I don't know whether I should be thankful or pissed at the prospect, but either way it happened. When I looked back into Blade's eyes I noticed a hint of guilt, I knew he wouldn't be fully sorry until he knew how I knew about the poisoning and what I would mean to this club.

"Ariabelle knows what happened last night. I told her the riddle." Mathis stated.

Blade blew up after that. "Why the hell would you tell this bitch anything! We don't know if we can trust her, or who the hell she is anyways. For all we know she could have been who those men were trying to kill."

He was right about that point. But I'll be damn if I let my pathetic father call me a bitch. Glaring at him I opened my mouth to speak but before I could he opened his fat mouth again and insulted me. "She's just a no good slut that thinks she has a right to know shit involving this club. She need to learn her goddamn place before I put her there."

I had had enough of his bullshit and apparently so did Mathis. I don't think Mathis was ever this pissed off at somebody. I could feel his body start to shake, before any of us knew it Mathis had drew his gun. Blade was still running his mouth but none of us were paying any attention to him, everybody in the clubhouse was focused on Mathis and his gun that was pointed at Blade. Mathis looked down at me before pulling the trigger at Blade's feet. Blade stopped running his mouth at that point and was glaring at Mathis like he was going to kill Mathis.

"Grim why the hell did you fucking shoot at me? It's because of this slut?" Blade screamed out.

Mathis shot at his feet again. It was funny to watch Blade jump and try to dodge the bullet, it was hard to hold in my laugh but I did. Now wasn't the time to laugh but after though I'll laugh. Mathis started to talk, "well if you weren't insulting my wife, then maybe I wouldn't fucking shoot at your goddamn feet!"

After he announced who I was you could see the shock from everybody's faces except for Killer. Even the entourage group was in shock, looks like Killer and Mathis didn't tell them who I was. It was so funny that I couldn't keep in my laugh anymore, I started to giggle and then full out laugh. I had everybody staring at me weird which made me laugh even more, I couldn't help that their faces were funny. I even got Mathis to chuckle a little before he went back to talking to Blade.

"So if I want my wife to know something about what's going on in the club then I'll fucking tell her, beside I think she knows something from the riddle that may help us, so shut up and let her fucking talk and don't you dare try to strangle her again, or I won't hesitate to shoot you in the chest." Mathis told him in a calm voice.

Now because of Mathis saying I knew something important all eyes were on me. Whether they be curious looks about my marriage to Mathis or glares because I'm married to Mathis. Didn't matter to me. I knew some of the bikers were staring at my neck but so what, I'm over my nerves about it and knew once I finally told him, or better yet reminded him, that I'm his daughter I knew he would be as guilty as hell. Still feeling the eyes on me I went back to drinking my beer, I knew they wanted the answer but I sure as hell wasn't giving them without them asking me for the answer. I guess I'm trying to make Blade swallow his pride.I could feel Blade's eyes glaring at me to give him the answer, I guess he got feed up with my silence.

"Well tell us damnit!" Blade shouted pissed off.

"I'm sorry are you demanding me or asking me Blade?" I asked sweetly.

"Will you please tell us what is so important?" Blade hissed through clenched teeth.

"The riddle, 'tick tock goes the clock. Tick tock goes the Belle. Tick tock the time runs out. Better find the Belle before it's gone for good.' It's talking about a person." I explained to them, but looking around they still looked confused. I gave out an exasperated sigh before explaining furthering. "The person who sent you the riddle and beat the shit out of the prospect is talking about a person."

Killer looked a little thoughtful when I told him that. But I guess everyone else was still confused because one of the entourage asked, "how do you know that?"

I rolled my eyes again and took the last sip of my beer before telling them. "Mathis said the bell was spelled B-E-L-L-E. Now if the person was talking about an actually bell he or she would spell bell B-E-L-L. If a girl has the name Belle they would add another e at the end, so people would know her name is spelled that way or because it's a short name that ends let's say at the end of another name like Annabelle and Isabelle." I explained further into detail.

"Or like Ariabelle correct?" Mathis asked looking at me.

I stopped my body from stiffening but I nodded my head, "correct." I answered him.

"So we're looking for a person a girl?" Blade asked.

"Yes, and according to the rest of the riddle, you have a time limit to find the girl before she's dead. And no I don't know how much time you have till the time runs out." I answered the unasked question in Blade's eyes.

"Do we even know what this girl means to Blade anyways?" asked one of the many bikers.

"That's for him to figure out. Or you could probably wait to see if they send you another riddle with a little more information." I said to him.

With all eyes on Blade now he started to pace back and forth rubbing his fingers on his temples, I guess that's what he does when he's thinking. I don't think he even knows or remember that he has a daughter and he called her Belle. Idiot needs to get his head out of his ass if he ever wants to figure out the riddle and the rest to come. And more will come, faster than they anticipate. Mathis was still looking at me while Blade was pacing, I don't know what he's reading into what I said about the name but I think he's thinking back to earlier when he first told me the riddle.

Blade suddenly stopped pacing and tipped over the coffee table in front of the television. Blade looked like he was ready to kill someone, he looked at me and then looked towards Killer and kept looking back and forth between the two of us. I don't like that look he's giving me, I really don't, but then he shook his head like he didn't believe where his train of thought was going. He opened his mouth to speak when my phone rang, digging through my purse to find my phone. Finding my phone I see the person who is calling is my mom. I groaned, I forgot to call her and tell her what happened no doubt Marco already told her and Alanzo.

"Hi mom." I said answering the phone.

"Don't hi mom me Ariabelle Gwendolyn Benson!" My mom screamed into the phone.

Mathis looked at me and mouth 'Gwendolyn?' I smacked his shoulder and placed my finger to my lip. Mathis just smiled and shook his head. I turned my attention back to my mother. "Mom what's wrong?" I feigned innocence.

"Don't you dare Aria. You might get away doing the feigning innocence act with Alanzo, but not with me. Why didn't you tell me what happened in Vegas or at least tell Alanzo?" My mother asked as she started to cry.

"Aw don't cry mom. I didn't tell you what happened in Vegas because I didn't want you to worry. You've got enough stress with the family annual party, I just didn't want to stress you out even more." I explained to her, trying to calm down my mom is a hard thing to do.

"Were you ever going to tell me what Luca did to you sweetheart?" My mom asked still crying a little.

My body went stiff when my mother asked about Luca, and I knew Mathis could tell something was said that I didn't like. "Mom I was going to tell you that I had a run in with Luca, but I knew you wouldn't let me out of your sight. I promise I'm fine." I replied to her.

"Ariabelle you are not fine! I know what Evan said to your father and Marco. I also know what you told Gabe because he called me!" My mother exclaimed.

"Mom I was going to sit down and tell you everything the next time I told you. Evan and Gabriel need to keep their mouths shut." I said to her.

Mathis was looking at me with a hint of jealousy when I said Evan and Gabriel. I didn't have time to cool down his jealousy right now, I had to deal with my mother. "When were you going to see me next? And are you taking the medicine Evan prescribed to you?" My mother inquired.

"I was going to see you next when we went to Brenda for my last dress fitting for the party. And yes mom I am taking the medicine Evan gave to me, so you have nothing to worry about."

"The hell I don't!" My mother screamed again. "You're married to some complete stranger Ariabelle Gwendolyn Benson! I want to meet this young man, and so help you god if he's anything like Luca or is Luca I'll skin your hind. Bring him to Marco's welcome home dinner." And with that she hung up.

Damn I never got screamed out by my mother. What the hell did everybody tell her to cause her to worry so fucking much? I looked over at Mathis then at his cut, I cussed bloody murder in my head. She'll definitely skin me alive if she finds out I'm married to a biker and he's in the MC that her ex husband was president of. I banged my head on top of the bartop and groaned. I'm totally screwed, I'm going to die by my own mother's hand. I felt a hand running through my hair trying to calm me down, I felt another hand on my back and I cringe. As soon as I cringed the hand on my back was pushed off, I was so tired and in a rush that I forgot to take the painkillers. After all that's happened I'm getting a serious migraine, with my head pounding against my temple I didn't notice anyone leaving the bar area or coming back until a glass of water and Advil appeared in front of me.

Lifting my head up and giving a smile as thank to the prospect I take the water and leave the Advil alone for a minute and dig through my purse yet again and find my painkillers. Taking the two painkillers out of the bottle and place them in my mouth before taking a sip of water. In a few minutes I can feel the painkillers help with my back, turning my head towards Mathis I can see concern come back into his eyes. I want to tell him, but we just don't have the time with that threat and I'm just not ready. I feel another set of eyes on me and thinking it's Killer, I turn my head to him only to find him looking at the pill bottle. So who is looking at me? Turning my head around I see it's Blade looking, I have no idea what's going on through his mind after the phone call with my mom. Not getting enough sleep last night is coming back to me full force, I can feel my eyes close, and I fall right asleep with my head on top of the bartop.
