Waking up in an unfamiliar room I pulled the covers off me and went out the door. Seeing the hallway of the clubhouse events of the day started to come back to me. Oh god, my mother wants to meet Mathis. What am I going to do? I need to talk to someone about this, but who? I don't know anybody here and Marco took Amber to Italy with him, so she won't be back in the states till the job there is done. Walking into the bar area I see Mathis, Blade and Killer talking, but what me seething was that my purse was laid out onto the table in front of them. They don't even notice me, and they just start going through my purse. I guess trying to find out more about me, good luck. I don't have any information about me in my purse except for my drivers license.

I can tell by the look on Mathis's face and him being further from my purse than Killer and Blade, that he didn't and doesn't want to go through my purse. I walk away from that because if I stand there watching for much longer then I might just explode and not just on Blade but on Killer as well. I see the kitchen to my left and walk in, but in my mind that was a bad idea. There was noise going on in the kitchen with bikers and their old ladies but as soon as I walked in the noise stopped. I was annoyed and fed up with them staring at me, like get a life and find something new to stare and talk about. But I just ignored them and made me a cup of coffee, well tried to make myself a cup of coffee. Being new to this place I didn't know where everything was at, thank god for the prospects. They made me some coffee and handed me a chocolate donut.

Finishing my snack I walked back into the bar area and Blade and Killer were still going threw my purse. Rolling my eyes I walked over to them, you could tell that they were shocked that they got caught. Picking up my phone and medicine and go over to the bar and sitting in the stool that I sat in this morning. I could feel the three of them staring and I just wanted to do something to shock them. Walking over to them I bent down and gave Mathis a kiss on the cheek. I guess you could say Mathis was shocked because I had never been the one to do something compassionate unless Mathis made the first move.

"You know fellas if you wanted to know anything about me then you could have just asked." I simply said to them.

Blade was the one to open his mouth first. "How do we know if what you tell us is the truth?" Blade asked.

In the corner of my eyes I noticed the rest of the bikers in the hallway listening to this conversation. I looked back at Blade and said, "sweetheart you don't. But you also don't want to look like an ass by going through someone's purse. Blade did you go through the other old ladies purses and belongings or do I just get the special treatment?" I asked sweetly.

"Well I just don't trust your ass and just because you're married to Grim doesn't mean shit. You're still a slut that needs to learn her place." Blade said.

I was fucking pissed. I grabbed my purse and reached into one of the hidden compartments and grabbed a pistol. Pointing it at Blade and taking the safety off, I said angrily, "if I was you Blade I would be careful of who you call a slut. Because you never know who you might piss off and end up with a bullet in your skull."

Placing the pistol back into the compartment and went back to my phone. When I turned my head back to the bikers in the hallway they had their guns pointed at me. I rolled my eyes because they didn't scare me one bit. They might scare other people but they don't scare me, I've faced worse and I've got the scars to prove it. Placing my purse on the bar I turned back to Blade, I started to open my mouth to say something before my phone went off. Checking it I noticed it was a text from Marco.

"Just landed I'll be with you soon. You better have found a house you love. - Marco"

"Shit." Was all I said after reading the text. If Marco was back in the states then he will drive as fast as he can to get here in a timely manner. Everybody was looking at me curious, but I can't give a shit about them right now. I wasn't even aware of when Marco was coming back and even if I do wear makeup to cover these bruises around my neck Marco will still noticed them. And I still hadn't found a house, I'm screwed. But I think there is someone who can help, my big brother Gabriel. If Marco was coming back today then his welcome home dinner was tonight as well. That thought made me turn my head to Mathis, I still hadn't told him about my mother wanting him to come to the dinner, and knowing my mother it wouldn't be just a family dinner.

Mathis was looking at me, wondering what was going on in my head. He got off the couch and came towards me, it's like he knows something is wrong because he is running his hand through my hair softly. I sighed before picking my phone back up and calling Gabe. Lord give me strength to make it through today and tonight. Going through my contacts and finding Gabe's number, looking up at Mathis, he looked confused about what I was doing. I pressed the call button and waited for him to pick up.

"Aria so good for you to call, but whats up first a visit then a call. That's unusual for you unless Marco wants me to know something important." Gabe said.

What Gabe said when he answered the phone was true but I don't have time for this. "Gabe I need your help." Was all I said to my big brother.

"Aria you know that I'll help you whenever you need help. So what do you need?" Gabe questioned me.

"I need your realtor." I stopped and looked at Mathis then said, "and a suit for tonight."

"So Marco doesn't want you to live in the clubhouse. Okay I got that but why do you need a suit? Don't you already have a dress for Marco's welcome home dinner?" Gabe interrogated me.

"The suit isn't for me." I started looking at Mathis, "It's for Mathis, because if someone hadn't opened their big mouth to mum then she wouldn't want to meet Mathis the night of Marco's welcome home dinner dumbass."

I could feel Mathis stiffen up when I answered Gabe's question. It wasn't like I waited till the last second to tell him. I indirectly told him hours after I was told by my mother. Mathis's brought his hand down to my chin and made me look at him, he looked more confused then ever, I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. I shrugged when when he started to open his mouth, the question he probably would have asked is 'why?'

"Okay I got it. And I'm sorry I thought mom and Alanzo knew." Was Gabe's pitiful answer.

"Well neither mom nor Alanzo knew about my run in with Luca while I was in Vegas. I didn't want mom to worry anymore then she does about all of us. SO you should've kept your mouth shut!" I shrieked at him.

"Okay okay." Gabe said.

"Look just get your damn realtor on the phone and have her set up some showings for me. I'll be at your house soon." I told him then hung up the phone.

Before I could even get off the bar stool I was trapped. Trapped by my husbands huge arms, and let me tell you something Mathis looked pissed. I mean I don't think I could blame him in some ways. But I didn't have time for this, but Mathis wasn't going to let me go that easily. Looking away from him and towards everyone else, they were perched on almost every piece of furniture the club has, just to watch Mathis and I. God they so needed more entertainment than just me or anything involving me. Don't they have like guns and drugs to run or going to their jobs rather than watching an argument between Mathis and me.

"Ariabelle." Mathis started.

"Yes Grim." I started using his biker name.

"Why do I need a suit and why are you wanting a realtor?" Mathis collectedly asked.

"Because my mother wants to meet you...tonight. And because she thinks the best time to meet you is during a welcome home dinner." I stopped and then looked at Blade when I said the next part, "and the reason I'm wanting a realtor is because there is no way I'm going to be leaving in the same house as the man who tried to kill me and I want privacy away from prying eyes."

Mathis looked at Blade then at everyone else. He sighed and then looked back at me, all signs of anger was out of his eyes. Mathis knew in his mind that I made a good argument, and he probably thinks that he wants to be with me alone but just can't come up with the words. Soon Mathis's body relaxed and his arms that were trapping me now were wrapped around me, hugging me close to him. Looking at our audience I could tell they were shocked as hell, but I didn't care. I gave them a smirk before pulling away from the hug, which was kind of hard to do because Mathis didn't want to let me go.

"Mathis I need to go." Was all I was able to get out before his body got stiff again. "Oh for goodness sake Mathis, the reason I'm looking for a house is for the both of us. So if you want to come with me then fucking come with me." I screamed before shoving him.

Getting off the stool and walking out the door I knew those bastards in there was smiling their asses off. Pulling my keys out of my purse and unlocking my car, I was pissed. Pissed at Mathis for not telling them off, pissed at myself for letting them get to me. Placing my key into the ignition and backing my car out of the clubhouse, I couldn't tell if Mathis had followed me or not but at this point I could care less. Pulling onto the road I put my car into drive a floored it, going eighty in a forty-five was stupid I guess, but I was already late. Looking into my rearview mirror I saw that Mathis's bike was behind me, so I guess he did follow me. Good thing I guess, he gets to know who Gabe is and not be jealous when I talk to him.

An hour drive turned into thirty minutes with how fast I was driving. When I pulled up to the house Jackson was outside and when he saw how fast I was driving he went inside to get Gabe. Mathis pulled in behind me looking around and then at me. He opened his mouth to speak but didn't get the chance because Gabe came running out. Jackson probably told him how fast I was driving, because didn't even get the chance to step out of my car before Gabe came and opened the driver side door and pulled me out. Gabe started to check me out but stopped when he saw the look on my face then turned towards Mathis and stuck his hand out.

"So you're Mathis?" Gabe asked his hand still out waiting for Mathis to shake.

"I am. Who the hell are you?" Mathis wondered not putting his hand out yet.

"Gabriel, Ariabelle's older brother. Well one of her brothers." Gabriel responded.

Mathis looked at me for confirmation, I nodded my head. That's when Mathis put his hand out and shook Gabe's hand. Gabe and Mathis were doing this little stare down while they still had ahold of the others hand. Me just looking back and forth between those two for a couple of minutes had gotten boring, so I just walked off and went inside while they did the stare down. Walking into the house I noticed that there wasn't as many gang members in the house but when I walked into the kitchen shocked me. There sat at the kitchen island was a strange girl, she had long red hair that looked like fire, heart shaped face wide doll like brown eyes, a curvy body but looked like she did dance. She doesn't even notice that I'm in the doorway just staring at her.

Walking into the living room I notice a dance bag, concluding that it must be the strange girl. I do exactly what Killer and Blade did this morning, I go through it. Her name is Madison Cole, where have I heard that name before. I didn't have time to ponder because I heard the stool in kitchen move, I quickly placed her things back into her dance bag before she came out. I was sitting on the couch examining my cuticles and saw I needed another manicure. When Amber gets back I'm stealing her from her work to go have a girls day, we both need it. Madison came out of the kitchen and halted her steps when she saw me in the living room.

"If you're trying to sneak out on Gabriel he's outside having a stare down with my husband." I expressed.

When I expressed that I saw her shoulders slump. So she was trying to sneak out on my brother. I wasn't about to let that happen till I knew who she was and why she was here. Gabriel doesn't bring one night stands to this house, he always goes over to their houses. So she must mean something. And I'm going to find out whether it be right now or later, I'll find out. If she tries to hurt my brother I'll make sure the police never find her body. Looking over at her I noticed she was opening and closing her mouth like she was trying to start a sentence but she couldn't because I foiled her plan.

"Who are you?" She meekly asked.

"I'm Ariabelle Braden, Gabriel's little sister. Who the hell are you?" I voiced. I sounded like Mathis just then. That was sort of scary. But she didn't have time to answer before Gabriel and Mathis walked through the front door.

When Mathis saw me sitting on the couch he made a beeline straight towards me. He had an angry look on his face. I looked back to Gabe and saw him with Madison talking, I have to say she looked scared. There has to be a reason because I know my brother he would never lay a hand on a woman, so there has to another reason. Cole, her last name sound so familiar but I can't remember where I heard it from. A hand was suddenly on my thigh when I looked and saw Mathis looking at me, wanting my attention. I placed my hand on his and intertwined our fingers together, but still my attention went back to Madison Cole.

"Gabriel it's lovely meeting your new friend, but we're on a tight schedule. Marco will be here in a few hours, just like he's checking up on me he probably will be checking up on you as well." I clarified for him.

Gabriel tensed up when he heard that statement. We both knew that Marco would be checking in on us. He's done that since our parents met when I was thirteen, and he's going to continue doing that. Marco can be a creature of habit when he wants to be and only when it involves his family. It's one of the things I love about him, but this time I'm not looking forward to the visit. I know he's going to want to see what Luca did to me, and I know this will cause a war.

One that no one is ready for, and one we don't know how many will survive. I just hope that this war won't bring the authorities anywhere near.

"Right let's get started. Kelly has a few houses set up for you two." Gabe declared.

I groaned when I heard Kelly's name. Don't get me wrong she is a great realtor but she's such a big slut. She makes sales threw houses and opening up her legs. Gabe looked at me annoyed and Mathis looked confused. Madison on the other hand was just standing still as a rock. I think she was hoping to leave quietly and unnoticed, but she isn't getting her way. Taking his phone out Gabe texted someone and placed his phone back into his pocket. A moment later there was Jackson and he was taking Madison's dance bag and ushering her out of the room and out of the house into an unknown car.

"Why the hell would you groan when you heard Kelly's name Ariabelle." Gabriel bellowed out at me.

Uh-oh. Ariabelle. I'm in trouble. "Because Kelly may be a good realtor but as a person she's a slut. She will sleep with everything she puts her mind too. So if I have to fucking put up with her trying to get in Mathis's pant she better damn well find us some good fucking places." I screeched at Gabe.

"Of course she's going to find you a good place. She knows our business, our family business and Mathis's business. She knows we're outlaws of course she's going to find you some good fucking places to live because she knows Marco wouldn't allow for anything less!" Gabriel bellowed out again.

"Fine Gabriel but if she tries to act like a slut around Mathis I'll make sure she knows not to open her legs around Mathis." I screamed at him.

After that small argument with Gabe, we hopped into my car and headed to meet the slut I mean Kelly. Gabe was driving my car because he knew the way and I didn't feel like driving, I noticed that we were getting close to the clubhouse. Kelly the slut must have picked houses that were far from Gabe and close to the clubhouse, I didn't mind and I doubt Mathis would, the club is his family. I can't even notice the surroundings because my mind is still focused on Madison Cole, I feel like I know her from somewhere. Why can't I figure it out, why can't my mind just let this girl go? Probably because my brother might actually feel something for her and I can't help but be concern for him.

I'm pulled out of my thoughts when Gabe pulls into a driveway of a two story house. I looked back at Mathis to see if he liked what he saw so far, he looked back at me and shook his head no. I've got to agree with him, I don't mind the two story house but I think being around so many neighbors with what I do and with what Mathis does. Kelly must be trying to piss me off, she knows that being around neighbors isn't for me. I looked at Gabriel wanting to give him my meanest glare only to see that he was already out of the car and on his way to Kelly who just stepped out of the house. Stupid bitch is just trying to get under my skin. My door opened and there stood Mathis, I must have been glaring at them so hard that I didn't hear him get out. He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the car.

With Mathis dragging me to Gabriel and Kelly we made it to the stoop. When we got up the stairs I could see Kelly running her eyes up and down Mathis. It was pissing me off, here I was spending Marco's money and she has the fucking nerve to check out my husband! When she unlocked the front door I discreetly grabbed her right arm and twisted it, she gasped but one look from me she kept that big mouth of hers shut. But she didn't keep it shut long enough, she made this unknown sound that got Gabriel to look back at the front door. He quickly came over and pulled her arm out of my grasp, he pulled her into his arms and glared at me. How dare he!

I went close enough to whisper in her ear with Gabe still glaring at me, "check out Mathis again or even try to have sex with him I won't hesitate to put a bullet in your fucking head you slutty ass bitch!"

Searching the house for Mathis, I first look in the kitchen which has a large island, dark cabinets, a granite countertop, two ovens, hardwood floors, two door dark refrigerator, a farmhouse sink and in the eat-in kitchen there was a round farmhouse rustic table. Walking out of the kitchen I notice there was a formal stiff dining room, walking back to the front of the house I saw there was two living rooms a casual living room and a formal living room. Going up the stairs there way a white and black five piece bathroom. Three medium size bedroom, going to the master room it has vaulted ceilings and bay window and it's own balcony over-looking the backyard. And there on the balcony was Mathis, I went up to him and wrapped my arms around him.

He turned around and pulled me back into his arms. In my mind this isn't the house for us. Even though I doubt either one of us will be here all that much, but this neighborhood just seems like a family neighborhood. And in my mind settling down here would add on the pressure of having a child, and right now I don't think that's a very good idea. Not until Luca is gone and definitely not until we know who is threatening the club. But I still need to get used to being married. Mathis is right we do have this chemistry and instant bond that would hard to find with someone else and my grandmother would kill me if I gave him up just because he's in the same club my father ran.

"This isn't the house for us babygirl. I don't know how much you like it but if privacy is what we both want to get used to this marriage and to get to know one another then we need to look at another place." Mathis perceived to me.

"And I completely agree. The only thing in this house that I absolutely is the big table in the formal dining room. Maybe if we find a big table in the next house we can have dinners there with the club." I told him.

When I said that bit about having the club over for dinner Mathis looked down on me and even before I had a chance to react his mouth came down on me in an all consuming fire. When his lips came down I knew that somehow some way I would become addicted to his kiss and I felt deprived of his kiss and he only kissed me yesterday morning walking out of my hotel suite. I felt like we could keep going and never come up for air again. But then we heard a cough sound in the background, and the cough just kept coming and interrupting the kiss. I swear I kill someone if they don't stop with that annoying sound. When Mathis pulled away, I groaned and glare at the interrupter which would happen to be Gabriel and behind him was Kelly with a big smile on her face like she just got a huge commission. As if.

"So I take it you like love the place right?" Kelly asked in her annoying barbie doll voice.

"No Kelly we don't like love the place, and if you knew me at all, which you do then you would know that I don't like to be around this many houses." I said to her and then turning to my brother I said, "I thought you said she had great fucking places for us to see? You better hope Mathis and I find a place before Marco comes and visits because he's the one who is paying for the house and if Kelly doesn't find a great one then Marco will be pissed."

When I mentioned Marco and him coming home early Kelly the slut became so white and pale. She looked like a ghost that was about ready to die all over again. It's no secret that Marco spoils me and knows what I like, just thinking of what he would've said when he saw the first house Kelly brought us to had me laughing on the inside. And I guess Kelly was thinking the same thing because in the next instant she was on her phone and Gabe was scowling at me. I don't think he quite believed me when I said Marco was paying for the house, and I had had enough of him looking at me this way so had Mathis.

"Gabriel what the hell is your problem?" Mathis yelled at him.

"I just don't like it when Aria tells white lies." Gabe stated. And I had to admit him saying that hurt me deeply.

"Who do you think you are? Why don't you call up this Marco person and see for yourself if she is fucking lying to you. Which I doubt she is, she's your little sister, do you really think she would lie to you?" Mathis told him.

Gabriel's silence was enough for me. He actually thought I would lie to him. He started to come towards me when he realized what a big mistake his silence was. I could see the regret and guilt in his eyes, it wouldn't be enough for him to just apologize to me. He was my big brother I tell him everything, well not everything I doubt any female would tell their older brother about their sex life. But that's not the point, for him to even think that I would lie about Marco paying for the house hurt me. I turned my back on Gabe and walked into Mathis's arms I needed comfort that only Mathis could give me right now. Mathis closed his arms around me and glared at my brother when he felt tears coming down onto his shirt.
