Pulling me gently through the crowd of people, Angelo lead me to the seats by the bar which was already filled with people talking among themselves. Turning, Angelo gestured to one of the stools, smiling I walked to go sit on the stool, before I did I felt Angelo's hand trail down the side of my hip sending sparks tingling up my spine.

A ghost of a smirk lined his lips as he sat opposite me, raising an eyebrow I caught his gaze making silent communication with him for several moments.

Just as I went to open my mouth to speak, the bartender came over.

"What would you like, miss?" he asked, his face full of youth as his hazel eyes gazed into mine.

I thought for a moment, idling my choices before I finally ordered a usual Island Iced Tea, it was a drink Ali and I would always drink together. Just as quickly as the words rolled from my lips, the man nodded before disappearing to get my drink, not even asking Angelo on his beverage.

Turning back to Angelo, I saw a scowl plastered on his face as he was practically shooting daggers at the bartenders back as he made my drink.

Chuckling, his gaze flickered to mine, shaking my head I took in his possessive expression.

"If look could kill Angelo, that bartender would be dead," I joked , chuckling at Angelo's jealous pout.

Resting his hand on the back of my seat he leaned in close, his breath tickling my ears.

"As he should be, but from the way your looking in that dress every man will be looking at you like that," he whispered, his sultry tones sending shudders down my spine as our eyes connected and his lips turned upwards into a sly smirk sending my heart beating at an erratic rate.

Returning with my drink , the bartender placed the drink down in front of me, seeming uncomfortable with the closeness of me and Angelo.

"Would you like to start a tab or.." he began but Angelo quickly cut him off.

"Put the rest of our drinks on my tab," he stated, his blue orbs hardening into ones of steel.

The bartender's eyes seemed to flash with recognition before he quickly nodded and rushed off.

Does he have that impact on everyone ?

Shaking my head at Angelo I began to glance around the large space, crowds of people filling every space. The bar is hundreds of conversations told in loud voices, all of them competing with the soft baritone of the jazz music that dominated the atmosphere. Some stood sipping there drinks while others flittered around, socializing with each group before quickly traveling to the next.

Turning my head around, my eyes became caught in Angelo's heated stare as it sent shivers dancing along my skin.

"What?" I asked softly after a few moments of silence.

Shaking his head, Angelo smiled to himself causing me to become curious.

Tilting my head I rose an eyebrow at him, silently asking him why he was smiling like that.

"You intrigue me, Alessa, " he answered, his eyes meeting mine and were soft once again, "I seemed to realize that you know my deepest memories yet I seem to know nothing about you."

Smiling, I sipped on my beverage, "Well, what do you want to know?" I asked, my body becoming relaxed as I become accustomed to the large groups surrounding us.

"Anything," Angelo purred, leaning forwards on the bar his eyes glimmering as my stomach did a flip.

Dear god this man...I thought as I felt a blush crawl up into my cheeks.

Humming in thought, I skimmed over my memories.

"OK," I dragged out, weighing out what I could say.

"At the age of 8, I began learning how to use a gun, my dad would take me into the back of the garden and make me shot wine bottles," I began, I felt a smile curl onto my lips as my memory flashed before me, "I remember one time, my nanny, Miss Lily was setting up the bottles and I accidentally fired at the one she was holding, she almost had a heart attack," I said, chuckling as I remembered the petrified look etched onto Miss Lily's face as she had froze on the spot as if processing what had happened.

Glancing at Angelo, I saw his shoulders shaking as he began to laugh.

"What else," I hummed, tapping the side of my glass.

"Favorite things?" Angelo said, now holding a glass of whiskey.

"My favorite food is by far chocolate cake," I said, my mouth watering at the thought of it while Angelo looked repulsed.

"What? You don't like chocolate cake?" I asked, my eyes becoming wide.

Shaking his head a shudder coursed through him, "Nor anything do do with sweets," he deadpanned, even though I saw a glimmer of amusement flicker inside his eyes.

Feigning a gasp, I shook my head, "Do you know what your missing out on!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah, a lifetime of diabetes," he said, feeling the alcohol set in I giggled causing an amused eyebrow raise from Angelo.

What the fuck was that! Never in my life have I giggled like I was fucking 5...

Sipping on my drink, I soon realized it was empty, frowning I placed the drink down only to have it quickly replaced by another by the bartender from earlier. Sending me a wink he sped away before Angelo could even react.

Satisfied with the drink once again as it effortlessly slid down my throat.

"I'm now beginning to worry if your an alcoholic," Angelo teased, as he took a gulp from his drink as it was barely half empty.

Letting out a light chuckle, I rolled my eyes, "Never met a woman who can hold her drink?" I retorted back, the alcohol definitely setting in as I felt my confidence grow as I trailed my hand up Angelo's arm keeping eyes contact the entire time as I watched his eyes darken.

Pulling my hand away I took another sip at my drink.

Yet definitely on the road to drunk Alessa tonight.

Just as Angelo went to speak, a young man emerged from the crowds bringing an group of younger with him.

"Angelo!Mio fratello," the young mans voice boomed as he embraced Angelo in a man hug.

The man stood tall with a bulk build, giving off an dangerous aura. He had deep hazel eyes from what I could see with dark brown hair that had been tied up into a man bun as stuble lightly covered his face.

What is with these Italian men..

Angelo's lips curled up into a knowing smile, "Pablo, my friend, how have you been?" he said his face lighting up as I watched the conversation between the two Italian men.

In the corner of my eye, I saw the women looking at me, glancing at me as if I was an ornament then looking at Angelo like he was fresh meat. I brushed them off quickly as I refused to let jealously ruin the night.

"We have much to catch up on, mostly on this beauty of a woman sitting here with you Angelo," he said, his gaze wandering across my face and body as I felt uncomfortable under his gaze.

"Mind if I steal Angelo for a while, my dear?" he asked, his eyes boring into mine.

Brushing my finger tips at the rim of the glass, I gave a small smile, "Of course," sending a wink to Angelo as Pablo began guiding him through the crowds with the flock of women trailed behind them.

Sighing, I turned back to the bar, sipping at my drink once again, the alcohol clouding my mind a little.

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't see a man sit down next to me until his baritone voice echoed through my mind.

"Whats a beautiful lady like you sitting alone?" Turning, I saw the man was leaning quite close to me, his deep brown eyes looking into mine with such intensity it was hard to turn away.

Smiling, I placed my drink down, "I wasn't alone a second ago," I replied, sweeping my hair behind my shoulder.

"Well, such a beautiful woman should never be alone," he stated before silence fell between the two of us, "Can I buy you another drink?" he asked, eyeing my now once again empty glass.

I became wary of the man, I didn't know who he was but I didn't know if Angelo knew him or not. But then again, I did want another drink but I didn't want to run up Angelo's bill.

"Okay, but just one," I replied, giving a crooked grin the man quickly flagged down the bartender and order my usually drink before he quickly sped off.

Glancing around the room, I desperately searched for Angelo, not entirely feeling comfortable in this mans presence nor with how close he was sitting to me.

Turning back around, the stranger passed me my drink, giving a small smile, I quickly gulped some down before placing it back on the bar, the alcohol calming my nerves.

"I never asked, but what is your name?" I asked, my brows furrowing as I realized that he never introduced himself.

"My name? I forget it whenever I look into your eyes," he replied, the corny pickup line making me laugh as I sipped more of my drink.

This guy is definitely hitting on me... Well attempting to.

"Wow corny," I said, chuckling as I downed the rest of the drink the mans eyes boring into my as he watched me drink.

Sighing, I began to wonder where Angelo was as more time passed.

Finally giving up on searching for him from a stool, I quickly got up.

"Sorry, but I have to find someone," I said quickly before heading off the push through the crowds.

As I went to take my first step, my vision blurred and world tilted before I stumbled almost falling over before a pair of unfamiliar hands balanced me my the waist

"You okay?" the man asked, his blury face came into my vision but became twisted and unfocused the harder I tried to look at his face properly.

Mumbling words I didn't even understand, I tried to walk again, only to have my world sway violently as my body began to go slightly numb and my thoughts became jumbled.

What the? This cant be the alcohol.

"You don't look good, here lets get you out of the heated crowd," the mans voice said, echoing through my mind as if it were a vacant space, not able to do anything as I let him guide me as he held onto my waist and hips.

The room swayed as we made our way across the room, my eyes becoming heavy and legs going numb I could barely walk properly without stumbling.

Guiding me into a side room, he gently sat me down on a sofa before he got up and closed the door.

Did I just hear a lock? I thought as my mind struggled to process anything around it.

"Now, I have you all to myself," he darkly said, turning around, he stalked towards me, his dark eyes not looking so friendly anymore but held something much darker inside of them.

Pushing me into the sofa, he loomed over me, his breath fanning my face as he trailed his fingers down the sides of my bare arms.

"Angelo thought he could hide you from us?" he whispered, his hands trailing the curves of my body as I remained unable to move but my mind began to panic as I desperately tried to snap out of my hazy daze.

"He thought wrong," he continued, his alcoholic breath making me want to gag.

His hands rested at my thighs, squeezing and caressing them while I was repulsed by his touch whereas he seemed to relish in it.

His hands made work on my body, squeezing and groping anything he could, while I could only silently endure it, my mind screaming for help as I wished that I could escape his hold.

A tear escaped my eye, noticing it he grabbed my throat choking the life out of me as the air was pushed out of my lungs.

"You think your precious Angelo can save you now?" he spat, venom lacing his voice as his eyes reflected hatred and anger.

"Well your goddamn wrong," he whispered menacing, "Now i'm going to show you what happens when you become a whore for the wrong side.. Princess," he spat, a deep laugh echoing inside my ear as I felt him trail his fingers between the plunge of my dress as his other hand began to pull down the straps my dress.

More hot tears trailed down my face as I willed my body to do anything, something to stop what this man was about to do to me.

Closing my eyes, I heard the unbuckling of a belt, letting out a muffled cry I wanted my life to end now so I would t have to endure the action he was about to do.

Suddenly a gun shot rang out, snapping my eyes open, I saw the door had been somehow opened, and standing in the doorway was Angelo and Alonso, worry and panic etched onto their faces.

Angelo upon seeing me, rushed forwards, instantly embracing me in his arms.

"Alessa what did that bastard do to you?!" he raged, his arms gripping me tightly but I knew it was out of his worry for me.

All I could do was let more tears stream down my face as Angelo pulled the straps of my dress back thanking that the man didn't expose my breasts, but I knew he planned to.

"She's been drugged," Alonso stated, crouching down next to me, worry plastered on his features, I ached to hug them both and tell them both that I was ok.

But I wasn't really...

Taking off his jacket, Angelo put it across my shoulders before silently wiping away my tears away with his thumb.

"I'm so sorry Alessa, I shouldn't have left you," he whispered, his voice cracking as he looked away.

I let out a small whimper as my mind became slightly clearer again, yet my limbs remained heavy as lead.

"Come on Angelo, lets get her home, she needs to sleep off the drugs." Alonso said before pulling out his phone, "I'll deal with the mess."

Confused by what he meant by mess, I glanced down only to have my stomach drop.

In front of me was the man on the floor, with a bullet gone straight through his head, what was worst was, the blood covering my chest. I let out a muffled cry as Angelo picked me up and carried me out of the room.

Passing people nearby, my consciousness began to slip as people asked what was wrong with me, Angelo simply replied with, "She slipped down some stairs, shes just sprained her ankle."

If only they knew the truth...

As the two bouncers opened the door, I saw Angelo's siblings voices call out, asking what had happened, Christina's worried tone standing out the most as I saw a faint glimpse of the top of a black head of hair before Angelo placed me in the car and I slipped into complete darkness.
