After moving Gus to Evelyn's tent thanks to the help of Tyler and Mike, the two lay in silence, Evelyn on his left avoiding any of the claw marks with Gus to her right, eyes closed and resting. Their fingers were intertwined as they lay in silence, every now and then Evelyn shifting position to make herself comfortable again or to get Angus some more water.
Dan was right. Angus was perfectly fine, just extremely tired and in a bit of pain. The dehydration was what made him so tired and mixed with the blood loss his body had tried to shut down. However now that he was resting, rehydrated and had some nutritious food in him, his cheeks started flooding with colour again and his eyes appeared to be brighter and filled with life.
It was still only midafternoon and Evelyn's heart dropped as she heard the men moving around the small camp space, beginning to pack up equipment and luggage for the early departure tomorrow morning. The expedition had flown by and with meeting Gus, it had felt more like a holiday rather than work and she wouldn't have changed a thing.
Apart from Gus almost dying on her. That she would change in a heartbeat.
The adventures they went on together, the bond they created with one another and the memories they shared. Even now, after spending almost every minute of the days with him, she wasn't sick of Angus. Not one bit. She constantly looked forwards to seeing his messy brown hair and his tall, muscular frame with his caring eyes and kind soul. Angus had made this once in a life time work opportunity into one she would never forgot, with the memories from fear to complete and utter joy.
There was only about 20 hours until her boat departed and she didn't know if it would be with or without Gus. She hated thinking about what happen, how devastated she would be if Angus wanted to stay, however it is his home she would be asking him to leave. She decided then that no matter her feelings, she would make sure Angus was not only 100% sure with his decision, but remained as happy as he had been these past two weeks and not regretting it.
His eyes were closed now as he rested and Evelyn turned to her side to look at him. Despite the darkness of the hair on his body, the tips of his eyelashes were a light blond making them appear shorter then what they are. They almost touched the top of his cheeks and every now and then his eyelids would twitch indicating his sleeping state. She wanted nothing more than for him to open them, to see his brown orbs that looked at her with the look that made her stomach backflip all the time.
But Evelyn wished even more that Angus would come back to the city with her so they can continue how they are now, even if it were just as friends. But she knew how difficult that would be, bringing a wild man into society. Money in her family wasn't too much of an issue, they weren't rich but they had nice things. Her dad is a successful scientist and her mom is working as a part time doctor, but they had also inherited money from when Brad's family passed away a few years back. From guilt of inheriting it, the money had hardly been touched however Evelyn knew her dad would use it for Gus. They were talking about it a while ago and even Brad had suggested it.
But Evelyn also feared Gus moving back with her, for many of reasons. The one most obvious would be that he would hate it. The city is so different to the jungle and it would be hard adapting to the noises, pollution and noisy cars compares to the clean air and peacefulness and tranquility of the jungle. Although Evelyn owned her small house just outside of the city in more of a farm land landscape, even the different animals like cows would be hard to get used to she imagined.
Another fear was that Angus would leave her. She knew his attraction to her was only because she was the one to have discovered him. If it were any other female who was half as nice and tolerant of the language barrier, he would be head over heels for her too. It stung, but she knew it was the fact. Evelyn was scared that when they moved back he would meet someone else and like her better.
Also, she knew that the story of Angus, the man living in a jungle and finally entering civilization, would be a media frenzy and she also didn't know how Gus would handle that. From seeing nobody for years to having everyone want to talk to him would be mind blowing, scary and strange. The media would love interviews, photos, use him for advertisement and sponsorship but Angus wouldn't know what that was. Hell, he was only just relearning the proper English and the correct morals for society.
Evelyn let out a deep sigh and closed her eyes. She needed more time here, in the jungle with him. Where he is in his element and there's nothing that could spoil this. She was selfish and her infatuation for Angus had quickly developed into real feeling and she wasn't ready to let go of it.
Her whole twenty three years of life, Evelyn has had her boyfriends, long term and short term, her casual hook ups and lonely times like regular people but never had she clicked with someone and felt too comfortable around them so fast. She loved feeling loved, she loved feeling adored and most of all she loved returning those to someone who felt them for her.
"You're incredible Gus,' she said lowly, her finger tracing against his side.
"You, too." His husky voice raspy spoke. Evelyn jumped, not realizing he had awoken from his deep sleep. His arm wrapped around her and pulled her into his good side. Making her jump made him want to comfort her and he wasn't complaining if he could do that and love the feeling too. "Sorry." He said through a yawn.
God he loved this mattress.
"Don't apologize." She laughed and she nestled in further. "How are you feeling?" Her eyes landed on the white bandages on his hip. The one on his shoulder didn't need a bandage, however the flesh was shiny from a disinfectant cream Dan had applied.
"Better." He replied, a lazy smile appearing on his lips as his head lolled to one side as he looked down at his Evy who was pressed into him. "Beautiful." He smiled, pleased when he saw her cheeks tint a darker shade of red. With a small chuckle, he leant down and pressed a kiss to the top of her head, satisfaction running through him as she pressed on onto his torso in front of her lips.
Honestly, Gus loved the feeling of her lips on him. They were so soft, contrasting to how he grew up in this harsh environment.
"So you're not in to much pain?" Evelyn asked and Gus smiled at her concern.
"No, promise." He said, and he spoke to truth. Compares to what had gone through, these cuts weren't too bad. Yes they stung but it was bearable.
"Good." Evelyn smiled and they fell back into a comfortable silence. She could feel his gaze on her so she tilted her head upwards and instantly was attracted to his eyes. Her stomach danced and she tilted her head up towards him and his lips hers half way.
They pressed together softly, almost like a feather like touch to test to other making sure they're okay. They drew back, both of their hearts racing.
"I, like you, Evy." Gus said softly, his eyes drawn back to her lips. Evelyn's heart hammered in her chest from his words.
"I like you too, Gus."
They pressed their lips back together but this time it was more urgent. Evelyn shifted her body weight so she was lying facing him as his hands moved down to her lower back, pulling her body flush to his side. Her tongue swiped his bottom lip and he opened his mouth as their tongues met. Evelyn felt her body heat up as she deepened the kiss, her stomach back flipping like crazy.
Angus' head was spinning. This thing that call kissing never failed to make him feel like he was flying and he was addicted to the feeling, to his Evy's touch. He wanted to feel more of her so he used his hands to move her body, encouraging him to sit on his waist and straddle his body.
"I don't think so, Gus your cuts." She worried breathlessly as he began moving her.
"Gus don't care," he murmured before sitting up slightly to reconnect their lips. He felt something in him tightening, like he needed to be touched and he wanted something else, but he didn't know what that something was. With Evelyn on top of him he couldn't think straight. To avoid sitting on his cuts he moved her down slightly so when her pelvis moved on his when she was positioning herself, a low moan came from his lips.
Electricity shot up his body momentarily from the friction created form the small grind. Angus didn't know what that feeling was, he had never felt it before. His eyes shot open, eyes wide and his mouth slightly agape wanting the feeling to happen again. Evelyn was looking down on him, her mouth slightly parted too as she finally realized he had never done this before, ever.
His face was in shock but of wanting more, oblivious to what was happening yet adorable at the same time. She felt his hips lifting up slightly and a breathless huff left his parted lips, his eyes closing shut as his grip tightened slightly on her wasist.
Gus didn't know what was happening to his body but he wanted more of it. His hips involuntary rose slightly and the electricity shot through his body again. He stopped himself, not wanting to do something that made Evelyn uncomfortable and he fought it as hard as he could. All previous conversations about sex with the boy's had flown from his mind and it was like a whirl pool of nothing but his thoughts for Evelyn.
His breathing was rapid but what surprised him was when he felt Evelyn pushing her pelvis down into his, swiveling her hips to create more friction.
"Evy," he whispered as his grip tightened on her hips.
"Shhh," Evelyn said, her heart racing at the thought of others hearing. She leant down and placed her lips on his, Angus eagerly returning the kiss as she ground down onto him. She was full of adrenaline, wanting nothing more than to please Gus and it was winning over herself. She knew that she shouldn't, that if this were to happen it should be in the city so she wouldn't take advantage of his innocence and allow him to choose her, another or no one at all, but she couldn't help herself.
His soft groans and eager kissing showed just how much he wanted this.
His hand slipped down and rested on her butt. His eyes were still closed and as their kiss broke apart, Evelyn head fell into the crook of his neck, her unsteady breath puffing warm air onto his ear and neck, only adding to the sensation she was creating. His hands guided her rhythm and he moved her back and forth on him, his mind spinning. It seemed to be building and building, getting better as it went on.
His eyes shot open, disappointed as she felt Evelyn moving herself down his legs. His hands stayed on her butt, holding her in place as he looked up at her, wondering why she was leaving.
"Trust me." Evelyn said. Her soft voice laced with passion was enough for him to nod his head and allow her to move backwards so she was resting on his thighs. He watched as her fingers pulled the band on the shorts he obtained away from his hips. She tapped his upper leg and he lifted his lower back from the bed so she could pull the material down.
He sprang from the confinements and he felt slightly embarrassed. He looked up at Evelyn and the look she gave him, made Angus crave Evelyn's touch all that much more.
"Is this okay?" She asked, not wanting to push him. He nodded his head quickly, excited for what was going to happen.
Her small hand reached down and grabbed a hold of his shaft and his lips parted as his eyes closed. Slowly, she moved her hand up and down his length, occasionally spitting on her hand to provide some lubrication.
Evelyn watched Gus absolutely fascinated. His pink lips were parted with his eyes closed, his torso rising and falling unsteadily with a pink flush on his cheeks. She couldn't help but smile at the sight, knowing she was the first to see it and also that she was the reason he felt that way. It gave her the confidence to keep going. Her hand pumped slowly as she leaned forwards, her lips connecting with the skin on his abdomen. She placed small kisses on the tanned skin, the one previously made just of muscle and skin now holding a tiny bit more cub from all of the chocolate cake. He now looked healthy, not to skinny yet still so fit.
With a small bite to his skin which she then attacked with sweet kisses afterwards, she felt his length twitching in her hand. She sat back up and increased the speed slightly, just in time for him to cum. His hips bucked upwards, a small groan leaving his parted hips as he came. Evelyn watched the beautiful man in front of her, now deciding this was her favorite look of him. Her hand moved back and forth as his cum fell on her hand.
She couldn't help the nervous giggle, not sure if she felt proud or awkward. Slowly, his eyes peeled open and a grin appeared on his face. His teeth on display and the tanned skin around his eyes crinkled up. His chest was rising and falling as he panted, his mind swirling and at this moment he felt connected to his Evy, even more so then before. He was genuinely happy and he doesn't think he's been like that since his parents were around.
"Wow," he breathily said, his eyes locked on the beautiful girl above him, sitting with cheeks blushing red and unsure on what to do. She had reached for a cloth on the side of the bed, a face washer that had just been cleaned for the journey home. She made a mental note to wash it again. "I, you," he said not sure what he wanted to tell her. Well, he knew what he wanted to say. That whatever the fuck she just did was something he always wanted and he wanted to know how he could make her feel like that. He wanted to stay on this mattress all day with her. "That, amazing." He said which caused Evelyn to laugh.
"Yeah?" She asked. He looked up at her with a grin before hooking his hands behind her waist and pulling her down. She yelped with a laugh, both hands aside his head to not fall face first into him. Her pony tail fell over a shoulder and landed on Angus which he playfully swiped with his hand. He continued his swipe through, intentionally knocking her hand so she fell on his body with a thud. She was careful to avoid the bandage but she lay on him with a grin, connecting their lips together with a hard kiss.
"I'll go with you." Gus said when he broke the kiss.
"What?" Evelyn snapped from her bubble of joy and looked down on him in disbelief.
"City, your home. I want to you with Evy." His eyes looked so determined Evelyn could kiss him.
"Are you sure? You don't have to, I mean I'd love you to but it's a big decision so I'll let you think it over again." She rambled, a smile unable to stay away.
"Without you, I feel alone. Don't want that." Angus said, his eyes boring into hers. "With you, I happy. Really, really happy. I don't want you to leave." He confessed.
And he didn't. He knew Evelyn was amazing, he loved feeling needed and to protect her no matter the cost. He loved how she made him feel alive and ready for anything, experiencing mind blowing things and an endless list of firsts. He didn't know what to expect in this city, hell he didn't even know what a boat looked like, but he knew that no matter what; Evelyn would always have a place in his heart.
