"Hi" I smiled at the woman sitting at the desk where Gio's secretary Stacey would normally be. "Are you Mr.Cavelli's new secretary?"

"Oh hello" she smiled back at me. "Yes I am I started working here recently".

"Yeah, I figured that" I smiled at her.

She seemed like a nice woman probably in her 30s and I'm assuming she is married based on the ring sitting on her ring finger.

"He had to get a new secretary since his old one had an accident" she smiled. "I'm Tanya Stevens-Wright".

"Oh you're married" I nodded in acknowledgement.

"Yeah I am" she replied.

"I'm Lexi by the way" I said stretching my hand to her.

"Nice meeting you Lexi" she smiled shaking my hand.

"You too, and for the record you're so much nicer than his old secretary" I smiled at her. "I don't the mean to sound rude but the old one was kinda a bitch... So is he in?"

"Yeah he is, do you have an appointment?" She asked.

"No I unfortunately don't. I'm his girlfriend so I'm not sure I need one" I chuckled. "I hope that isn't going to be a problem".

"Oh no, not at all. I had no idea you can go in then I guess" she replied.

"Thanks Tanya" I said to her, "I can call you Tanya right?"

"Call me Tanya" Tanya smiled.

"Have a good day okay" I told her sincerely.

"You too Lexi" she smiled.

I opened Gio's office door and enter. He seemed to be busy signing some papers or something like that but looked up the minute I stepped in.

"Aww, you look so cute when you're busy" I chuckled.

"Lexi" Gio said urprised. "What are you doing here?"

"If you asked that question every time I come here I'm gonna start thinking you don't want me here or want to see me" I frown at him.

"What? That's not what I meant at all I'm just surprised that's all" Gio quickly defend.

"Chill" I chuckled. "I'm just kidding".

"Really? That frown looked pretty convincing to me" Gio chuckled.

"Yeah... So I see you got yourself a new secretary" I smiled as I went near him.

"Hmm. I figured I better get a new one because of what happened with the last one. And preferably one who won't start fights with you over me" Gio chuckled.

"Wise choice" I smiled as I went and sat on his lap. "I really approve of this one, she seems so nice".

"Really?" Gio asked putting his hand around my waist.

"Yeah" I nodded before planting my lips on his.

Gio and I'd lips moved together in sync as I placed my arms around his neck. We pulled back after a while to catch our breath.

"Felt like I haven't done that in forever" Gio said to me.

"I know, we hardly spend any time together of late" I said to him.

"Yeah, and I'm sorry about that. Buts that's gonna change of today" Gio smiled.

"Really?" I ask him.

"Yeah really" Gio replied before kissing me again. "How do you feel about us going out for lunch right now?"

"Now? I thought you were busy with work" I said to him.

"No not really, and not too busy for you" Gio said twirling some of my hair between his fingers.

"Well in that case my answer is a definite yes" I said then place a quick kiss on his lips before trying to get off his lap.

"Not so fast" Gio said holding back my waist preventing me from moving. "Its been a while since I've held you like this and this close".

"Okay, I guess we should enjoy being like this a bit longer" I smiled at him.

"Did you get blond highlights?" Gio asked as he continued playing with my hair. "Or did something to your hair?"

"What?" I asked confused.

"You seemed to have quite an amount of blond streaks here in your hair" Gio said taking a portion of my hair and bringing it around to show me. "And it doesn't really seem like its normal color".

"Dammit Kathleen" I muttered as I indeed spotted the portion of blonde hair.

"Kathleen?" Gio asked raising a brow.

"Uh yeah. We were kinda experimenting with hair dyes, she was doing mine and I guess this was what happened" I replied to him.

I had asked Kathleen to dye back my hair to its normal dark brown color but it seems the dye wasn't dark enough like my natural hair color and it seems she missed a pieced of the blond hair.

"I think it looks cool though" Gio said to me as he continued combing his fingers through the ends of my hair.

"Really? Well I guess I can let it stay then" I smiled now running my fingers through his hair. "I like yours too, its hot".

"You think?" Gio smirked.

"Yeah, it is" I smiled.

"Okay I think we've had a little more than lunch today" I chuckled throwing on a back silk top I had left her at Gios penthouse then laying on my stomach watching Gio.

"Yeah, I think we also had some dessert" Gio chuckled as he came back sitting on the edge of his bed kissing me.

"Are you going back to the office?" I asked him.

After Gio and I had went out for lunch we drove back to his penthouse where we ended up making love. Not that I was complaining but I honestly that wasn't our plan when we left his office.

"No, I'm just gonna call it a day" Gio said laying down on his back.

"Oh, that's good then" I said to him rubbing my hand up and down his bare arm and bicep.

"Really? Why?" Gio asked smiling as he turned his head to look at me.

"Yeah because since I don't feel able to go anywhere again for the rest of today it means I'll most likely be staying here. And since you aren't leaving either it means we have more time together" I smiled.

"That's great because I actually have a few things we could do together in mind" Gio said easing up off his back and hovering over me.

"Yeah me too" I smirked rolling from off my side onto my back looking up at him.

"Well how about we exchange those thoughts" Gio said leaning down kissing me.

"Hmm. Hold that thought won't you" I said holding up a finger to him as we break away.

"Okay" Gio said easing up off me.

I leaned over the side of the bed picking up my phone that we had discarded earlier on the floor. I took my cellphone from the pocket. I quickly type a message then sending it to mom and Kathleen letting them know I wasn't coming coming home tonight. After pressing send I put my phone over o his nightstand.

"Where were we again?" I asked crawling over him.

"You're so beautiful" Gio said looking up at me.

"Thanks" I blushed before placing a kiss on his lips.

"And I love you" Gio said looking up right up I my eyes.

"Really?" I asked looking down in his eyes

"Yeah" Gio replied.

"I love you too" I whispered smiling at him.

"Really?" Gio asked smiling as well.

"Yeah really" I nod smiling at him before leaning down to kiss him.
