"You're letting me drive your car to work?" Kathleen asked as I gave her my car keys.

"You can drive can't you?" I asked as I put on my lipstick.

"Well yeah but..."

"And you have a valid driver's license right?" I said to her.

"Yeah I do, but your car Lexi? I don't know, what if I wreck it or something?" Kathleen asked still looking at the car key in her hand weirdly.

"Then I'll kill you, so don't" I said to her.

"Great, I'll feel so much better already about driving your car" Kathleen said sarcastically. "Thanks Lexi"

"You're welcome" I smiled playing along. "Look I won't be able to drop you off or pick you up today and I'm pretty sure you'd rather not be stuck with any of the guys Dominic stuck you with. Besides I think its time you have your own ride now".

"Yeah you're right but I can't afford it yet to buy a car, I'll have to save more" Kathleen replied.

"Are you even listening to what I've been trying to say?" I asked.

"What are you saying?" Kathleen asked causing me to shake my head.

"I'm saying you should keep my car, in other words its now yours" I replied.

"What?" Kathleen replied shocked. "You're giving me your car?"

"Yeah" I smiled at her. "That's what it means to keep something, isn't it?"

"Lexi, thanks but no I can't... I just can't take it" Kathleen shake her head stretching back the keys to me.

"What do you mean you can't take it? I'm the one giving it to you" I said to her not taking the keys back from her.

"I know but I can't take it, you've helped me so much already I just can't accept that. Its just... Its too much. Plus its your car, you love that car and its still so new and- and..." Kathleen continued rambling.

"Will you shut up?" I said to her causing her to stop her rambling. "I know you wouldn't accept a fairly new one that's just purchased, so I figured that since mine isn't exactly considered as new but still in great condition you'd more likely accept it as second hand gift. Besides I'm getting an upgrade what else would I do with this old car when I got the new one? I already have a van as well"

"Lexi its just a bit too much" Kathleen replied still trying to argue.

"I don't wanna hear it okay, consider it as a loan then or something you can borrow whenever you want then" I said to her. "No arguments".

"Okay, fine" Kathleen nodded. "Thanks Lexi".

"No prob" I smiled before picking up my bag. "See you later, have a safe drive.

~~ I've been balancing and finalising accounting books all morning, as well as ordering stocks and supplies to be delivered to both restaurants. Today has been an extremely busy and loaded day. I haven't even had a chance to get lunch or even move once since I got here. I could have easily take a small break but I really just want to get off the excess workload done and off my head today.

By the time I had officially finished doing every bit of work my back, shoulders and my neck were feeling extremely stiff and sore. Not to mentioned my rear end that felt as if it was literally dead right now to how numb I was feeling. I finally shut down the computer before closing my eyes and stretching in my chair. As I tried relaxing my door then started knocking.

"Come in" I called out before trying to sit up straight. Looking up I almost wish I hadn't. "Oh my God, I don't even have the strength to deal with you right now".

I groaned and closed my eyes again rotating my neck and shoulder trying to get out all the stiffness I was feeling. I didn't have the energy right now to fight.

"Maybe if I close my eyes and ignore it, it'll go away" I said causing him to chuckle. After a while I reopened my eyes to see him still standing in front me smiling. "Nope, didn't work. What nightmare is this? Gio what are you doing here?"

"I came here to take you to lunch" Gio replied confidently.

"Not happening so there's the door, why don't you just make a U-turn and head back through there?" I said rubbing my neck. "You shouldn't be here".

"I'm not leaving here without you" Gio said seriously walking towards me. "So the sooner you agree to come with me and let's go have lunch the sooner you'll get me out of your hair... For today at least".

"What are you...?" I started to move back and get out the chair once I see Gio's hands reached out towards me, but his hands had stopped me from getting up as he held my shoulders. "Oh"

I couldn't help the sigh and moan of relaxation that escaped my lips once Gio's hands found my shoulders and started massaging. I would have put up a fight if it were some other time but right now to how good his hands felt massaging my sore shoulders I had no choice than to welcome this treatment. His hands massaging my neck and shoulders right now was like the hands of a god, how could I ever reject this offer. I closed my eyes and angling my neck a little more to the left as one of his hand started paying more attention the my right shoulder.

"You're tense, you need to try relax more" Gio said from behind me.

"I am relax" I mumbled out.

"No you're not, these muscles up here are really tense and stiff. Have you been sitting here the whole day?" Gio asked as he continued working his magic on my shoulders.

"Maybe" I sighed contently. "That feels so good"

"Yeah? Wanna feel something else that'll also feels good?" Gio asked moving my hair over to one side of my shoulder.

"Wha...." I started asking but it was like the remainder of my question was all forgotten once I felt Gio's lips on my neck.

As he continued massaging my shoulders he left soft kisses up my neck. Why I hadn't pushed him away as yet? I have no idea, I just know that I was enjoying this sensation so I leaned my neck a little more to the side to give him more access. I moaned softly as I felt him sucking on different spots on my neck. Then all of a sudden his lips and hands disappeared from me. I opened my eyes to look at him in confusion only to see him stepped back in front the table with a smirk on his face.

"Why the hell did you stopped?" I frowned as I tried to replaced the feeling of his hand massaging my shoulder with mine but it just wasn't the same.

"I thought you wanted me to leave" Gio smirked.

"Yeah I did but since you're still here for some strange reason,why not make yourself useful and put those hands back to good use" I frowned at him.

"So now you want to used me for my hands? That's very devious Piccolo" Gio teased causing me to glare at him. "Alright fine, there's a lot more massages where those ones came from. So how about you say yes to having lunch with me and then I'll reward you by massaging all those knots in your shoulder?"

"You know what, my shoulder is suddenly perfectly fine so you can leave" I said seriously. "Bye now".

"You must've thought I was joking earlier when I said I wasn't leaving here today without you" Gio said seriously.

"Fine, here's 'me'" I said holding up my middle finger to him. "Now you've got it, you can just take it and leave".

"I knew this wasn't going to be easy, but its okay have it your way" Gio said walking towards the direction of the door.

I smiled at his retreating back as I look down to pick up my bag from out my drawer but suddenly I'm being lifted out the chair causing me to scream.

"I thought you'd know me better by now Lexi, I do love a challenge" Gio smirked before walking towards the door with me still in his arms kicking my legs and screaming and trying to get out his grip.

Gio just throw me over his shoulder with my butt up in the air.

"If you won't come willingly with me I guess I'll just have to take you by force".

"Giovanni stop it! Put me down, I'm not going anywhere with you, you asshole!" I screamed at him as I started hitting his back and still kicking my legs.

"Quit fighting" Gio pinned down my legs before smacking me on my butt. "We're going to lunch like it or not".

"Oww! What the hell!?" I screamed from the sting of the slap. "I'm gonna kill you!"

"Yeah you can do that later" Gio said reaching for the doorknob.

"Alright,alright. Fine, I'll go to lunch with you! Just put me down you can't carry me out there like this!" I yelled slapping his back. "Gio!"

"Okay then but don't try anything funny" Gio said before placing me back on my feet.

"You're an asshole" I hit him with my handbag before rubbing my butt trying to soothe the sting I still felt from him slapping my butt.

"After you cara" Gio smirked opening the door then chuckling. Glaring at him I stomped off through the door and leaving him to follow.

~~ "So you're gonna be giving me the silent treatment for the remainder of the day?" Gio chuckled as he signal the waitress for the bill.

I ignored him as I took one last drink from my water. After Gio had led me to his car earlier, I decided I wasn't going to talk to him. Even though he kept teasing me and provoking me I still decided I wasn't going to talk to him. He forced me here with him so now he's better be prepared for my payback. The only time I had spoken was when the waitress had came to take our order. Gio kept trying to get me to speak to him, he kept asking questions, teasing as well as sharing information with me but I decided to continued being stubborn.

"I guess so" Gio chuckled before paying sticking some cash in the bill when the waitress returned. "I guess I should take you back then".

I didn't even wait for him I just got up and walked out the restaurant with him trying to catch up to me.

"Wow you've definitely held out longer than I thought with this silent treatment thing" Gio said once we were both in the car.

I just turned my head towards the window and closed my eyes to ignore him.

"Alright its cool" Gio said before finally shutting up.

After a few minutes I opened back my eyes only to see that we weren't going back to Lexi's. I turned to glare at Gio realizing what he was doing. He wasn't looking at me when I was glaring at him. So I just starting hitting him.

"Hey! Lexi stop! I'm driving... You trying to get us killed?... I said stop... What is your problem?" Gio said trying to block my hits while keeping one hand on the steering wheel.

"You! You're my problem" I fumed before slapping him one last time on the thigh.

"So you've finally cracked" Gio chuckled in amusement.

"You're supposed to be taking me back!" I yelled at him. "Where the hell are you taking me!?"

"Babe just relaxed okay, I'm not kidnapping you or anything" Gio said reaching over to grab my hands in his. "We're going to my house".

"Gio I don't wanna go to your house I wanna go back to my restaurant!" I pulled my hand from him.

"You deserved a break. I thought you wanted to get rid of those knots in your shoulder? I promised you a massage didn't I?" Gio said to me.

"If you think I'm gonna sleep with you if you bring me to your house you're sadly mistaken" I told him seriously. "Why are you bringing me all the way out there?"

"That wasn't in my intention Cara" Gio said to me. "I'm only trying to help you'll see".

"You should have just taken me back" I frowned folding my hands over my chest.

~|~ "You're cursing me out in your head right now aren't you?" Gio smirked at me once we had reach his house and he killed the car engine.

I turned to glare at him, somehow I just wanted to smack that smirk off his face. On the other hand I've realized that Gio love teasing me and when I argue and fight with him, it was like it really amuses him whenever I tried fighting him on anything. So instead of fighting with him I'm just gonna go ahead with everything.

"Are we going in or not?" I asked opening the car door and stepping out.

"You're going in willingly?" Gio asked looking at me suspiciously stepping out as well.

"Yep" I nodded folding my arms over my chest.

"And you're not gonna fight me on this?" Gio raised a brow.

"Nope" I shook my head.

"You okay? Because the Lexi I've been dealing with since this afternoon doesn't give in to anything that easily. What's your plan?"

"Gio I don't have a plan, I'm sick and tired of fighting with you right now, its not like I ever win so why bother?" I shrugged. "So are you gonna take me inside since you've brought me here? If not you should just take me back".

"Alright then. Come along" Gio said stretching his hand for me to take.

I looked at his hand then back at him getting ready to come up with some witty comment but seeing the challenging smirk on his face I decided to not give him the satisfaction he was hoping for, expecting me to not giving in willingly. I sighed to myself before taking his outstretched hand which caused Gio to chuckle amusedly before leading me towards his door.

"Can I get you anything? Something to drink or what?" Gio asked once we were inside.

"No, I'm fine" I said to him.

"Are you sure?" Gio asked as he took off his jacket and began rolling up his shirt sleeves to his elbows.

"Hmm" I nodded.

"Shall we?" Gio asked stretching his hand towards me again.

"Okay" I replied taking his hand and allowing him to lead me upstairs to his room.

Gio closed the door behind us before putting down his jacket once we were inside the room. He then took my hand once more leading me to sit on the bed. I decided not to say anything yet but just watched him. Gio knelt down in front me before slipping off my heels from both feet then began massaging my feet. I sighed in relief of my feet feeling free. I couldn't help but smile as I Gio paid extreme attention to massaging my feet. After a few minutes of massaging, Gio let go off my feet before facing me again and reaching for the buttons on my blouse and that's when I stopped him.

"What are you doing?" I grabbed his hands stopping him.

"I'm not gonna do anything you don't want, I promise" Gio replied. "I'm only trying to get this material out the way so I can massage your back. You're wearing a bra aren't you?".

"You better not" I said letting go off his hands and allowing him to continued pulling the buttons.

After finished pulling open the buttons I helped him removed the blouse from my shoulders before finally taking it off as I sat there in my black bra and skirt. I realized Gio was staring at my chest so I cleared my throat which caused him to snapped out of it and standing up as he took my blouse and putting it over one of the chairs in the room.

"Lay down, I'll be right back" Gio said before walking off into the ensuite bathroom.

I dragged my body up more on the bed before laying on my side with my head proppef up on my hand supported by my elbow. Gio returned from the bathroom with a small bottle and towel in his hand. I watched him as he placed those on the edge of the bed before getting out a few candles and lighting it on one of the bedside table.

"Do I even wanna know?" I asked raising my brows.

"No" was all Gio said before taking off his shoes and getting on the bed beside me. "Lay on your stomach".

"Okay" I said rolling over on my stomach but still looking over my shoulder at him.

"What you don't trust me?" Gio asked seeing me staring at him.

"No" I replied.

"Wow" Gio chuckled before handing me to towel. "Lay on this".

I took the towel from him spreading it on the bed before laying back on my stomach. I turned around once I felt Gio's hand on my back. I felt him pull the hook on the back of my bra.

"You're gonna need to slip your hands through the straps" Gio said.

"If you want me to strip why not just say so" I said sarcastically before clutching the towel to my chest and slipping my hands through the straps before laying back down.

"Not like you'd wanna do it willingly" Gio replied.

I chuckled at that. I felt Gio pouring something on my back before I felt him started rubbing his warms arms over my back and up to my shoulders. Whatever oil he had using smell really sweet.

"What is that?" I asked.

"Lavender and Chamomile massage oil" Gio replied as he continued massaging my back.

"Why do you have that? That's not something that you used on all your many women that you being here, you're using on me is it?" I asked trying to look over my shoulder at him.

"What many women you talking about?" Gio chuckled. "Don't worry you're the only woman I've ever brought here and that oil is new".

"As if you'd tell me otherwise" I said to him.

"The whole point of this is for you to relax Lexi, you're still tense" Gio said working his hand up to my shoulders.

"That's not really easy to do knowing you're being massaged by a killer/mafia boss" I teased.

"And somehow I don't think that's what scares you. You're no saint yourself are you?" Gio responded.

"I never said I was" I said to him.

"I've came to realized that" Gio replied. "You're sneaking, beautiful but so deceitful and deadly".

"I think that was a compliment" I chuckled.

"So when did you start?" Gio asked after a while.

"Start what?" I asked confused.

"Being like that, sneaky, deceitful..."

"I've been this way all my life" I replied.

"Not hard to believe, but somehow I don't think that's the whole truth. So when?" Gio asked.

"Do you really wanna talk about the past right now Gio?........... I've been this way since I was fourteen then more so when I catch seventeen" I respond.

"What happened at seventeen?" Gio asked.

"You're asking about me, what about you? When were you introduced to being how you are, ruthless mafia boss?"

"You know what you're right, we shouldn't talk about the past" Gio said evading my questions before his hands started going back down the middle of my back.

"See you're trying to figure me out but dodge questions about yourself" I replied. "Typical Giovanni".

Gio didn't respond after that, we just stayed quiet for a while as Gio continued massaging my back. I closed my eyes and started relaxing when I heard him spoke.

"I was born into this life. I've been learning how to handle guns, be a leader and read people from I was twelve. By the time I was sixteen I've already killed before. I've been trained to take over the business ever since and a few years back I finally took over from my father" Gio said to me. "I didn't have a choice in the matter, at first I was hesitant and dreaded this life but I eventually got used to the idea. Its a family business and now everyone in the group is family. My father made sure I wasn't brought up to be a weakling".

"Is your father still alive?" I found myself asking.

I didn't know much about this side of Gio and somehow I was curious to learn more plus he was opening up to me now so why not try to learn all I can.

"Yeah he's living in Italy" Gio replied.

"And your mom?" I asked.

"She died years ago" Gio replied trying to sound nonchalant.

I know it pained him to talk about it because I felt him tensed a bit as he was massaging my back before continuing. I pushed myself up clutching the towel around my chest before sitting up and looking at him.

"I'm sorry to hear that" I said to him. "What happened?"

"She was killed, guys trying to get back at my father" Gio said emotionlessly. "I was fifteen"

"Sorry" I said to him.

"Its okay, it was years ago I'm over with now. Besides they got what they deserved" Gio smiled at me. "I made sure of it".

"Oh...There was this incident that happened in your club a week before you met me, in one of the bathrooms?" I said biting my lip sheepishly.

"The guy which was found dead with stab wound to his neck?" Gio asked.

"Yeah" I nodded.

"I didn't have anything to do with that Lexi, plus if I did I'd never do it in my own club then left the body for persons to find. That almost caused a lot of problem with police and all the bad publicity" Gio said to me.

"I know" I said to him. "Sorry about the trouble, I'm not really trained in the cleaning up part of those things".

"Why?" Gio asked but I could tell that he was extremely surprised to hear me confessed to doing it by the look on his face, he wasn't expecting that.

"He was one of the guys who killed my parents" I replied looking at him.

"What?" Gio asked confused. "What do you mean? You said you are a Luciano, Luciano is your brother".

"Yeah, he is. I was adopted" I said to him. "I was only fourteen when my parents were killed, it was a break in at our house. My parents were shot and since I didn't know of any other relatives I was sent to live in a girl's home, I hated it there so I ran away and that's how Alphonso found me. He brought me here and ever since they've been the best family ever".

"Brought you here?" Gio asked.

"Yeah, from England. I wasn't lying when I said I'm English or when I said my name was Miller. I'm Miller at birth, I changed my name when I moved here" I told him.

"I'm sorry Lexi, for being an ass and everything" Gio said to me. "What was your name before you changed it".

"Kathleen" I smiled. "But I think at home there's only room for one Kathleen now, Lexi is fine".

"Both names suit you" Gio said brushing some hair from my face.

"Thanks" I smiled at him.

"I'm sorry you were dragged into this life" Gio said to me. "With your parents death and all. Having to kill, I know it wasn't easy the first time".

"The first time was my first boyfriend and his uncle" I said to him.

"Is that a thing you enjoy doing? Killing your boyfriends? You also tried to kill me remember?" Gio teased trying to lighten the tension.

"Well he and his uncle had me kidnapped and tried killing me yo get back at my Dad. I was clueless to everything even the whole Mafia business, I didn't know about it. But I wasn't just going to sit down and be killed so I ended up making my first kill at seventeen. He wasn't who I thought he was and so I stayed away from guys after that, because I didn't want to get hurt or have to hurt another like that again until I met you"

"And then you met me" Gio chuckled. "You ended up being involved with the same thing you were running from".

"I had an idea what I was getting into" I said to him.

"I was only taking a risk because I was captivated by you" Gio smile as he comb his fingers through some of my hair. "We're more alike than you think"

"I know, and that's what's so scary" I said to him before trying to move away from him. "Anyway what I just told you doesn't change anything between us".

"Come on Lexi, quit fighting this" Gio said grabbing me and stopping me from moving. "You know we belong together".

"No we don't. I still hate you and Lucas and the others" I said to him.

"I'm sorry Lexi, I really am. I know I can be a heartless jerk but I really am sorry. And as for Lucas and others they are also sorry but you have to realized that they were only following orders at the time" Gio said still holding me. "Orders I gave, so I'm sorry for everything".

"Well why won't you allow me to be mad at you and shoot you in the crotch right now for what you did?" I said trying to pull from him as well as still clutching the towel around my chest.

"Then I won't be able to give you another baby" Gio chuckle.

"You did not just say that" I gasp before trying to hit him. "Let me go Gio".

"Not until you give me another chance" Gio said.

"No!" I said glaring at him incredulously.

"Well I won't let you go, or leave here...ever"

"Gio let me go" I said trying hard to get out of his grasp but it was hopeless.

After minutes of me trying to get him to let me go I finally gave up as I was extremely tired and all my struggles were proving useless.

"Alright fine" I sighed.

"What?" Gio smirked.

"You get another chance. Happy?" I said to him. "Now let go"

"You know I love you Lexi" Gio said before letting me go.

I didn't answer him but instead reached for my bra and slipping it on over the towel before turning around and dropping the towel before trying to hook it but Gio beat me to it.

"What no more love for me?" Gio asked.

I pick up the towel once more and slapping him with it multiply times.

"Ow, must you always be this violent woman?" Gio said pulling the towel from me.

"That's what you just signed up for asking me for a second chance" I said pushing him down on his back before climbing over to straddle him. "Besides violence is something you enjoy isn't it?"

"Well if its coming from you, I guess I can handle it" Gio smiled.

"Just shut up" I said seriously before leaning down to kiss him.

I was probably gonna regret this decision but what the hell? When have I ever made a decision that I haven't regretted somewhere down along the line, this wasn't exactly new to me.

Hey peeps, so I just gave you guys one long as hell chapter. It took me hours to write. Its not really edited so please see with me if there are errors okay? In addition I'm not sure how good this chapter was or not, so let me know. Anyway Gio and Lexi finally have a little chat, and preview of each others past and decided to give things another try. What do you think will happen next? An easy smooth relationship or a lot if troubles again now?
