Haven't gotten enough votes or comments as yet but whatever, I've promised another update in a few hours so here it is.

So last night after Gio had called Lucas, he had told me to give Lucas my car keys. Though I wanted to refuse and retaliate because of my personal issues and past with him, I knew better at a moment like that so I just handed the key to Lucas without argument and Gio drove me home in his car while Lucas followed with mine. Through out the drive Gio kept a firm grip on the steering wheel as he drove with jaw clenched and nose flaring with anger. You could see that he was deep in thoughts, probably thinking about the 100 and add ways to torture and get rid of Snakes and Julian. It was all just scary seeing him like this and to think I wasn't one to be scared a lot or easily. Not even when he was mad at me when he thought I had betrayed him and then shot him, not even then did he seem that scary.

I tried talking to him to get him to calm down a little at least for the time I was still in his presence but Gio wasn't having it. He was furious about the whole Snakes betrayal and crossing him issue, but he seemed more furious that Snakes had threatened and touched me and somehow I also believe that he's slightly mad at me for not telling him all this before and not calling him the minute Snakes had approached me. I tried telling him that I needed to make sure of my theories before I dish out something like this but he still didn't care, said it was his decision and he would have found ways to find out if one of those members were really the rats if I had mentioned it earlier.

I even tried joking with him about the fact that my dad and family wanted to meet and invited him to dinner this Saturday night but he still wasn't having any of my attempts so I gave up and stayed quiet until we reached my gate. One of main reasons why I think Gio was somehow mad at me too was the fact that he told me that he was going to take care of this and I wasn't supposed to call him until he called me. It was approximately 16hours later now and I still haven't heard from him, I couldn't help but be worried.

"Did you and Gio had a fight last night or something?" Emilia asked as I picked up my phone then put it down again.

"What? Why would you think that?" I asked looking up at her.

"Well for starters last night after you came home you were in one of those funk, and secondly you've been starting at that phone screen for like the 100 time already" Emilia said to me.

"It wasn't really a fight" I sighed. "He was upset because he found out two of his guys were double crossing him. He said he'd call but still I haven't heard from him yet".

"So why don't you call him then?" Emilia asked.

"He said I shouldn't call, he would" I replied.

"But why?" Emilia asked confused.

"I think he's somewhat upset with me for not mentioning things earlier" I said to her.

"You knew about it?" Emilia asked surprised.

"Yeah sort of, it doesn't matter" I said to her. "I just thought he'd call by now"

"Do you want me to uh I don't know call him or something? Check how everything's doing?" Emilia asked.

"No" I said to her. "He'll know you're calling on my behalf. I'll just wait until he's ready to call me".

"Okay, if you say so" Emilia replied just as my phone started ringing. "Is that him?"

"Uh, no" I replied a bit disappointed after looking at the caller's ID. "Its Leon"

"Leon hey" I answered after pressing the screen.

"Hi Lexi, haven't heard from you in a while. I think someone has forgotten about me" Leon chuckled.

"Oh no, don't say that you'll make me feel bad" I replied. "I haven't forgotten about you, or Em. How could I? I've just been a bit busy and caught up in my own stuff I haven't even got to call to hang out or anything".

" Its cool I'm just messing with you. I totally understand " Leon replied.

"Good, so have you been? And how's Em, I really miss her" I replied.

"Well we're both good, I was wondering if you'd like to hang out with us today, that's if you're not busy or if the boyfriend doesn't have a problem with it" Leon said.

"Yeah sure, and he doesn't control me Leon. I came by work this morning so I've got a few things to finished up, so just text me where I'm supposed to meet you okay".

" Alright I'll text you as soon as I hang up then" Leon replied.

"Okay, I'll see you in a few alright" I said before hanging up.

I looked at Emilia to see her looking at me with an arch brow.

"Shut up" I said to her.

"What? I didn't say anything" Emilia said innocently.

"No, but you didn't have to. Your thoughts are all written clearly on your face" I said to her.

"Wow, so your a face reader now" Emilia chuckle.

"You better believe it" I replied.

After Leon had texted me, Emilia came with me and we hung out for a good couple of hours. Emily and Emilia really seem to connected immediately as well though I suspect that had a lot to do with the fact that their names were so similar. We hang out then get something to eat and even then I still haven't received any call from Gio which makes me wonder if he was alright. We were now back at home getting ready for dinner in a few and I decided if after dinner I still haven't heard from him I was going to call him whether or not he wanted me to.

"I love your dress" Emilia said to me as I walked out from my closet.

I was wearing a long blue maxi summer dress with white floral prints.

"Thanks, its actually the second time I'm gonna wear it" I replied.

"It's really pretty" she responded. *** "So Lexi where is your new boyfriend that I told you to invite to dinner" Dad asked once I was seated at the table.

"Dad" I groaned rubbing my hands over my eyes.

"I see you've decided you weren't going to invite him which makes me curious as to why you can't introduced him to us" dad said. "We aren't that bad are we?"

I know he was referring to the fact that the family was one associated with the mafia.

"Dad I never told you I had a boyfriend" I said trying to get him off my case.

"She's obviously telling you she's coming out of the closet" Dominic said sitting down across from me. "Its obvious she's a lesbian guys".

" Stop" I said kicking him under the table.

"Ow!" Dominic cried out from my assault before chuckling. "Stop kicking me. Its either that or there are more than one"

"I'll blind you" I said taking up a fork threateningly.

"You two stop..." Mom started before stopping at the sound of the doorbell. "Was that the doorbell?"

"I'll go check it out" I said getting up. "Or maybe I'll be going to prison for killing Dominic"

Dominic is usually all serious with this no nonsense scary persona, but once he gets to that playful teasing side, he can be a bit annoying. As I made my way to the door I couldn't help but wonder which of the guys were here now. That doorbell only ever ring once any of the ranked guys from the 'family' decided to show up, for starters the security code is needed to get passed the front gate so it got to he one of them who knows it, maybe Marc or someone else.

Opening the door my jaw dropped and my eyes widened. I was not prepared for the greeting I received.

"G-Gio?" I stuttered in disbelief.

Short chapter I know guys, but hope you like it. So Gio showed up unexpected at her house, where her entire family is present, with Dominic and her Dad hating him so much and threatened to kill him if he ever gets near her again.
