(IMPORTANT AN before chapter- Here's another update guys, hope you like this chapter. To all who continue to read, vote, comment positively and enjoy this book, thanks alot guys, love you. As for those of you who don't like the story anymore, think it's boring, predictable or cliché and have something negative to say, just keep it to your damn self or quit reading now. Its not like I'll care, no one is forcing you to read it, so if you're not enjoying it, move along. For those of you who haven't read the book but decide to comment negatively- just keep your crap shut OK. Now with that out the way, here you go my lovely regular readers.

"Did you have any idea Emilia was planning on coming back here next week?" Gio asked me as we were cuddled on his couch together watching TV.

"Maybe" I said to him.

"So you did?" Gio said to me.

"Yeah well she did said she was only staying a few weeks in Italy" I said to him.

"I didn't know she had plans to come back, at least not that soon" Gio said to me.

"But what's wrong with her wanting to come back? She obviously love it here, you're here so what's the big deal" I said to him.

"I can't help but think she have an hidden motive wanting to run back here so soon" Gio said to me as he played with the ends of my hair.

"Since when does a person have to have a hidden motive to like somewhere?" I asked him. "I guess she just started liking the US more than home. I'm not from here either and I definitely love here more than England".

"Yeah but you now have a home and family here now for years and your entire life is here" Gio replied. "Its all different for here".

" Why can't you just accept the fact that she loves it here. You came here and obviously seem to love being here as well, so why do you make it seems like she shouldn't? Or that she doesn't belong here? I thought you'd be happy to know that you have family here" I said to him sitting up and turning to face him.

"I am, really. And it's not that I don't want her here I'm just concerned" Gio said.

"About what exactly?" I asked curiously.

"About whatever guy she has here that she's pining for that has her running back here. I don't want her getting hurt or me having to kill the guy" Gio said.

"You're unbelievable, why did you just assume that it's a guy why she wants to come back?" I asked.

"Trust me, I may not spend as much time around Emilia since she's grown up but I know my sister" Gio said to me. "There is some guy involved and I'm going to find out who".

" Well then, good luck with that" I said turning around and leaning back into his chest.

"Why do you say it like that?" Gio asked.

"Like what?" I asked innocently.

"Like you know something about it" Gio replied.

"I don't know a thing. And even if I had known anything, I wouldn't say" I said to him. "Anyway enough about Emilia, you need to let the girl breathe and live. So what have you and Dominic being discussing earlier?"

"Who says we were discussing anything?" Gio asked innocently.

"I'm not dumb Gio, you guys were discussing something but decided to cut your discussion short when I joined you" I said to him.

"Just some business issues" Gio said not giving away anything.

"Really? That's all you're going to tell me?" I asked. "And when since you and Dominic are so buddy buddy that you are now discussing 'business issues'?"

"We're not buddies" Gio said to me. "We're only trying to be civil with each other because we don't want to hurt nor upset you".

"Yeah? Well I'm glad you guys are trying" I smiled. "The wars and conflicts aren't even necessary".

"I guess so" Gio replied. "Anyway, I've been meaning to ask is your back okay?"

"My back?" I asked.

"Yeah, I mean you've been sitting in this position for a while now. You're not starting to get uncomfortable or feeling any pain?" Gio asked concerned.

"Actually no, ever since I've gotten the stitches drawn I haven't really been that uncomfortable" I told him. "Sure I'm still feeling a bit of pain in the area but not much".

"I guess, its because the inside isn't healed properly as yet. A few more weeks and you'll be good" Gio said to me.

"You really think so?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm usually good after a month or so before my wound hardly hurt anymore" Gio replied before pulling down the strap of my blouse to look at me wound. "Its amazing the outside is almost completely healed".

"Do you think the scar is going to be huge?" I asked Gio for like the 50th time since I've gotten shot.

"I told you it's probably not even going to be that recognizable" Gio said to me. "Stop worrying about a little scar, you know you're still going to have beautiful skin".

" Thanks but I can't help but feeling self conscious about it. I'm probably going to be thinking about it every single time I wear an open back blouse or dress" I said to him. "I'm thinking as soon as its fully healed, to get a cover up".

" You mean a tattoo?" Gio asked.

"Yeah, I won't be able to relax about it unless it's not visible or obvious" I replied.

"I've told you a million times baby, stop worrying about it alright. Your skin is beautiful, you're beautiful and whether scar or no scar, tattoo cover up or not nothing is going to change that. You're always going to be my bella piccolo".

" You really know how to make me feel better babe" I smiled at him.

"Well that's my job" Gio said kissing me on the cheek. "I want to ask you something"

"What?" I asked looking at him.

"How do you feel about flying back home to Italy with me this weekend? We could go Friday and come back on Monday" Gio asked.

"You want me to go to Italy with you?" I asked surprised even though he had pretty much just stated that.

"Yeah, I wanted you to meet my father" Gio said surprising me.

"Are you sure? I mean do you think he's going to approved of me?" I asked him.

"I think he will, Lexi you're hard not to like" Gio said to me. "And if he somehow doesn't approve of you, well that's his business. I approve and you're mine not his, so it doesn't matter".

" Uhm well then okay " I said to him.

"You'll come?" Gio asked excitedly.

"Yeah definitely" I smiled. "I'd go anywhere with you". So guess what guys? Caught In The Middle is nearing its end. A few more chapters and its going to be completed but have no fear this isn't going to be the end of this series. I'll be starting a third book from this serious. I'll tell you more about it soon. Anyway as soon as I post the name and description you guys make sure to add it to your libraries and reading list so you'll be able to get the updates as soon as I start
