Drake stared at me with a slight open mouth as he tried to process what I had said. He growled when he finally understood and narrowed his eyes. Anger and hatred burned in them, and for the first time, I pitied the man that I called my father. "I am going to kill him," he snarled, tapping on his phone, probably to call him back. "That bastard."

I quickly took his phone out of his hands before he could call and held it in my grasp. I dodged from his hands and held my hand up, stopping him from going after me again. "I still have family there," I said, my heart breaking with the thought of my aunt and uncle. "And, you can't kill him. Not yet at least."

"And why not?" Drake snarled, his eyes shifting to those of his wolf. "He hurt what was mine. He will pay."

"And, he will," I replied, trying to calm him down. "But, he is not going to pay, not yet."

"Again, why not?" He bared his teeth, and if I hadn't seen my father at his worse, then I was sure that I would be panicking. He was what those rumors had said. He was dangerous, but I knew that it was only because he was trying to protect is past. "Why are you protecting him when he did not protect you?"

"I could care less about him," I replied.

"Then-"

"I still have family in that pack. Innocent people that do not need what they are getting from a power hungry monster." I shook my head and huffed. "I don't trust him, but if what he said is true then he got himself in a pickle."

"Which means that we will get picked on by the Rogues that want to kill him," Ben said. "Are you willing to risk your pack or mine?"

"It's my pack, not yours, Benjamin," Drake said. He narrowed his eyes at the other male, causing the Beta to duck his head and mutter an apology. "But, I do agree with him. What if the Rogues decide to attack us because we are helping him out?" He looked at him and studied me.

"If I know the Rogues that are trying to attack him, then I know that they will back off once they know that I am here." I shrugged my shoulder. "And, we have God and a lunatic on my side that don't mind getting their hands dirty."

"And, what if they are getting paid?" Drake asked, raising an eyebrow. "Nathaniel might be trying to use them to get my land."

I pursed my lips as I tried to come up with a plan to stop the Rogues from helping the sperm donor's pack. "Then, I guess I am going to have to make a couple of calls," I said. "Let's just hope that they will not attack."

"In the meantime?" Ben asked, raising an eyebrow. "What are we going to do?"

"We help out the pack," Drake said. He looked at me, and I could see the fury in his eyes. He did not like the male one bit, but I knew that he was willing to help out innocent people, even if the man that was the Alpha caused me pain in the past. "If there are innocent people that did not have anything to do with the destruction of Nathaniel's pack, then we should help them."

I offered him a small smile and nodded my head. "Well, I guess that means that I have one thing to do."

Drake cocked his head and furrowed his brows. Confusion was written in his eyes as he studied me. He was calming down, and I was grateful for him knowing how to control his anger. "And that is?"

I sighed and shifted on my feet. I prayed to the Goddess that I was making the right choice. I only wanted to protect my pack from those that wanted to hurt them. "For the safety of my pack and yours, I think that it might be a good idea to make myself known."

Drake's eyes widened in shock. Pride filled his eyes as he studied me, trying to make sure that I was actually going to do what I had said. "Are you sure?" he asked.

I hesitated but nodded. "The pack needs to know that I am their Luna and that I will protect them no matter what."
