I groaned when I woke up, my whole body hurting from the forced shift. My ears flicked this way and that as I came to, and I couldn't help but wonder as to why I felt grass underneath my body.
Did I hurt someone and ran? What was happening to me? Where was I? Was I even alive?
"Sky?" the pain filled voice of Jerecho sounded, causing my body to both relax and tense. "Are you in control now?"
I opened my eyes to see Jerecho covered in blood and jumped to my feet. My heart pounded in my chest, because it looked like that I had scratched and tore him up into pieces. A whine escaped my lips as I started to back away from the older male. I felt... dirty, like I was a monster. I had attacked the male that had helped me with saving a couple of members of my pack.
Jerecho took a look at my reaction and busted out laughing. He grabbed his belly as his body healed, the perks of being a God. "Oh, you silly Wolf," he said, causing me to growl. He shook his head, a smile flickering onto his face. "You should know that you can't hurt me."
I jumped on him and dug my claws into his skin, causing the laughing male to stop laughing. I bared my teeth in warning before letting go. I ignored the pout Jerecho sent my way and shifted into my human form, glad that a dress appeared on my body. "I wouldn't say that I couldn't hurt you," I said, nodding to the golden blood that covered his skin.
"I used red blood," he muttered, unhappily, causing me to roll my eyes. His body healed, not leaving a trace of the golden blood. "But, you didn't hurt anyone. I got you out just in time."
I let out a sigh of relief as I looked around me.
The trees were green and golden with bright fruit hanging from its branches. The grass was a sea blue, unlike the normal grass like Earth. The skies were crystal blue with no clouds in the sky, letting the two suns be seen. The world was named Ilrion, and it was the home of the Gods.
Everyone thought that the Moon Goddess lived on the Moon, but she didn't. She lived here where other Gods and Goddesses lived if they didn't travel the four realms of Earth.
"It's still beautiful," Jerecho said, catching me look around. Pride and pain filled his eyes, and I knew that he was upset that I couldn't live here with my pack.
I shrugged my shoulder. "Don't feel bad about us not living here," I said. I caught sight of one of the dragons that watched over the land for the most powerful Gods and Goddesses. I let my magic shine through, the markings of Jerecho's apprentice/"child" show through. "Ilrion is the land of the Gods and magic and must remain such. I don't understand why they let me stay most of the time." I watched as the dragon flew off, noticing that I was all right to be here.
Jerecho hummed, causing me to look at him to see him shrug. Curiosity shone through his eyes, and I know that he was curious as well. "You are all children of Luna, though," he said.
"But, we don't have Godlike powers. The Gods and Goddesses let her make us as long as we stayed on Earth." I was different, but I didn't know why. Even at a young age, I knew that I was different from the rest of the Werewolf Pack. It didn't help that my mother used to call me "little Goddess" even after I couldn't help protect her from my father.
"Oh, before I forget," Jerecho tossed me a scroll. "It shows Katie's location. She has stopped at a pack."
I unrolled the scroll and saw that she was in the Black Paws Pack before nodding my head. "She'll do fine there," I said, relief filling my body. "Will this show me if she moves?"
"Yes," Jerecho confirmed. He pursed his lips. "I still don't like..."
I gripped the scroll tight, rolling it up. My whole body was tense, because I knew what he was going to say. "I know," I replied, my voice cold. "I don't like it either, but I have to let them come. If he steps out of line, then I will kill him myself."

Drake was waiting for me in my room when I made it back. Worry filled his eyes as he sat up from my bed and looked me up and down. Relief filled his eyes when he didn't see any scratches on me, but I could see the curiosity in his eyes because this was his first time seeing me in a dress. "Are you alright?" he asked, coming over and taking me into his arms.
I took a deep breath and nodded my head. My body tensed for a minute before it relaxed into his warm embrace. "Ya," I said. "I just..." I shook my head and grimaced. "I hate..." I huffed and growled, stepping out of my mate's arms. "I-"
Drake's eyes softened and filled with understanding. He didn't seem hurt that I had stepped out of his embrace, but I was sure a bit of him was. "You hate that your father is coming, and that you feel as if you are putting your pack in danger?"
I hesitated and nodded my head. I could still feel his hands on my body as he groped and did things that a normal father wouldn't do. My heart rate picked up, and I could feel myself start to panic as memories of my past filled my mind.
I could see my dad staring at me, looking more like a monster than a father. I remembered his cold, gray eyes that had been filled with warmth before something happened to make him change. I could remember his cold hands on my body as he choked me or used me to please him.
But the thing that I remembered the most was the fact that he tried to do what he did to me to Katie. I remembered the fear that I felt as I watched helplessly as he moved closer to her, because he had beaten me to a bloody pulp before moving to her.
As soon as he was close to her, something happened, and he didn't hurt her. He wasn't able to touch her, and I couldn't remember why. All I remembered was passing out and then waking up to Katie staring down at me with tears in her eyes. All I remembered was that she had told me that she thought I had died because of this blue light that formed around my body, stopping her from checking on me.
A stinging sensation was felt in my left cheek, causing me to react defensively and grad the person by the throat. I opened my eyes to see that I had Thomas by the throat with Drake, Toby, Bernie, and Ari staring at me, fear in Ari's eyes. Quickly, I let go of my cousin causing him to take a big gasp of air.
"You all right?" he gasped out, watching as I backed away from him. Worry filled his eyes, and I could sense a little bit of defeat fill him. "Drake said you passed out for a bit."
I took a deep breath and nodded my head. "Ya," I said. "Ummm..." I cleared my throat and licked my lips, looking away from them. I was feeling anxious, and I knew that I needed time for myself. "I need..."
Thomas looked at me and understood what I needed. Anger filled his eyes, and I knew that he knew what had happened. "I am going to kill him," he growled out before storming out.
Troy frowned and looked after him. "I will make sure that he doesn't do anything stupid." He nudged Ari and Bernie out of the room, knowing that I needed to be alone.
Drake studied me and took a step forward. He watched as I took a step back and nodded his head. "You want to be alone, don't you?" he asked.
I took a deep breath and nodded my head. I was grateful when Drake offered me a small smile and walked out of the room. I knew that he wasn't going to go far, the bond pushing us to complete it.
I shook my head and took a quick shower, still not used to having running water at my demand. After my shower and getting dressed, I made my way to my new bed and laid down. I took the map that Jerecho gave me and looked at the dot that showed me where Katie was at.
My heart ached because I knew that it would be best to not tell her what was happening to my pack.
If I couldn't keep my small pack safe, then at least I could keep her safe and away from the pain that he would bring. She didn't need to know that they were coming.
She didn't need to see the monster that Nathaniel had created. She had seen enough monsters in her short life...
