A couple of days have passed since my old pack had arrived to my new pack. Attacks have been made to my new pack, but no one has been killed.

Drake was getting a little paranoid and tried to get me to move into the pack house because my new house was nearer to the border.

I declined, but to put his mind at ease, I made sure that Jerecho put a barrier around the house to make sure that no one could go in unless they were welcomed by either me or Thomas.

He tried to put a guard on me, but of course that didn't work at all. He was annoyed to say the least when the guard was sent to the hospital because I had "challenged" him.

So, in the end, Drake just asked me to link him if I was going to be away from the house. He was relieved when I agreed to do that and kissed me.

But... unfortunately, I didn't tell him about going to try and find the people that were attacking his, well our, pack members. And it might be for the best because I probably wouldn't have gotten someone to meet me if he did come.

I cocked my head when I heard someone step on a branch but made no attempt to look in that direction. My hands were in the pockets of my new hoodie that was a couple of sizes too large.

The Wolf growled out a warning, probably because I was going in the direction of where his group was hiding. He growled a bit louder, causing me to roll my eyes.

"You might want to shut up before you have us both killed," I said, turning my head to see a russet colored wolf glaring at me. "And, it might be wise for you to take me to him."

The Wolf's body shook as he shifted into his human form, ignoring the fact that his... friend was hanging out in plain view. "And why would I do that?" he asked. He licked his lips, causing me to gag and looked me up and down, lust filling his eyes. "I could just take you right now and no one would know."

I snorted and rolled my eyes, figuring out that he was probably an idiot and didn't know me. "Good luck with that," I replied, sarcastically. I looked around, making sure that we were alone before looking at him. "Do you want to know what I want to do, Love?" I asked, sauntering over to him.

The male tensed a little and looked down at me. He might know who I was, but the lust was too strong and his brain was too weak. "And what is that, Love?" he asked, causing me to almost throw up.

I leaned closer to his ear, very aware of how close his dick was to me. "I think that you will be a good Wolfie and take me to him before I tear off your dick and shove it down your throat," I said in a sickly sweet voice. "If that doesn't change your mind, then afterwards, I will skin you until there nothing is left and feed you to my small pack." I leaned away and smirked at his pale face. "Don't believe me?" I turned my face to the side, my smirk deepening. "I didn't get the nickname Angel of Death for nothing."

The male gulped, and I could tell that he finally knew who I was. "Right this way, Miss Ross," he said. He shifted into his Wolf form and bounded away with me following him.

"Can you not scare my Warriors, Skylar?" the "Alpha" asked, smiling when he saw me. His warm brown eyes made me feel somewhat safe, and I was glad that I had an ally like him. "They don't like dealing with you if you do keep it up."

"Then you should teach your men lessons, Reeves," I replied, shrugging my shoulder. "They shouldn't try to assault a female or a male." I sat down in one of the seats provided and placed my feet on his desk, much to his distaste.

Carlton Reeves sniffed and frowned, smelling that my scent was different. He shoved my feet off of his desk, watching me with cautious eyes. "You're scent has changed," he said. "You are part of a pack."

"I am," I confirmed, shifting to make myself more comfortable.

He leaned back in his seat. "Silver Tongue Pack? What rank?"

"Surprisingly Luna," I replied, causing him to lean forward in his seat. I held up my hand, silencing him. "I am still an Alpha Born and a rogue, Reeves," I added. "I can take care of myself."

"Which is why your mate doesn't know you are here," Reeves said, again leaning back in his seat. "Does anyone know?"

"A good... "friend" of mine does," I replied, causing him to nod his head because he knew who I was talking about. "You wouldn't be having a conversation with me if my mate did know."

"And, he is hosting the High Rise Pack." He paused and studied me. "I know why you are here, Skylar. I have been attacking your pack members, injuring them, yes. Alpha Nathaniel has my sister. He has threatened to kill her if I don't kill your members."

"But you don't," I replied, causing him to nod. "Why?"

"One of my pack members thought that they had spotted you in the woods. They have informed me, so I ordered them not to kill anyone."

"But you still attacked my pack, causing my mate to become... paranoid about my safety."

Reeves shrugged, acting indifferent. "I didn't know how else to get your attention," he replied, honestly. "I couldn't merely walk to your house, knock on your door, and demand for some help."

I held back an eyeroll. "There are other ways to get my attention instead of attacking innocent people and making yourself look like a bad guy." I studied him, causing him to look down and shift in his seat. "Unless..." I gave him a knowing look, wanting him to tell me the real reason as to why he was attacking my pack.

Reeves hesitated but nodded. "He has been watching me and making sure that I do it," he said, honestly.

I nodded. "Do you have anything else that you need help with?" I asked, knowing that he was hiding something else.

Reeves hesitated as if he didn't want to burden me. Conflict filled his eyes as he talked with his Wolf and probably someone else before he sighed and nodded. "I am an Alpha Born turned Rouge, which you all ready know," he said, causing me to nod my head. "My... "father" had tried to turn me like him, wanting my twin and I to harm my little sister and my cousins."

"You didn't," I said, causing him to nod. "Your twin did."

Again, Reeves nodded and licked his lips. "I... was trying to get both of my cousins out and my little sister, and my brother was going to help." He growled and clenched his fists together. His eyes flashed, and I could tell that it still angered him. "The bastard betrayed us. We were ambushed at the border, and..."

"And, you were the only one that escaped."

Reeves nodded his head. "And, I was the only one that escaped." He leaned back in his seat and cleared his throat, moving a hand through his hair. "I tried to get them, my cousins, out a week or so ago, but..."

"But they were all ready taken," I said, causing him to nod his head again. "By whom?"

Reeves shrugged his shoulder and studied me. "I am hoping that they were taken by you," he replied, causing me to tense. He leaned forward and watched me. Hope filled his eyes, but he didn't make any sudden movements. "Tell me, do you have any new members from this area?" he asked, not being able to hold back his excitement. "I thought you had said that you would never go back here."

I took a deep breath and sighed, nodding. I knew that I needed to tell him, but their safety was my top priority. "The reason that I am here was because I had been messaged by someone about two females," I said. "Their names are Bernadette and Ari."

Reeves relaxed slightly. "Does one have silver hair?" he asked, his voice cracking. He sighed with relief and nodded when I nodded in conformation. "They are safe," he muttered under his breath. He cleared his throat and flicked his eyes to me. "Can I..." He shifted in his seat, and I knew that he was thinking I wouldn't allow him to see them.

"I want to ask them first," I said. "Don't be surprised if Ari doesn't talk to you. She..." I licked my lips and flicked my eyes away from him. I had no idea how bad she had been hurt, nor what had happened to her.

Reeves nodded his head. "Do you think that..."

"I will see what I can do for your sister." I stood up, causing Reeves to stand up, also. "It has been a pleasure, but I need to go back to the pack. I think my mate has found out that I have been gone."

Reeves nodded his head and held out his hand. "Pleasure is all mine," he said. "Stay safe."

I nodded and shook his hand before starting to leave the tent but paused. "Oh," I said, turning back to him. "Please, stop attacking my pack. I'll make sure that she is safe."

Reeves nodded his head, relief filling his eyes. "Will do. Thank you for your help."

I smirked. "My pleasure." And with that, I left the tent and started to make my way back to my little pack and my mate.
