"The Ancients came to me during the time that I was in pain, or I think the thing was an Ancient," I said, walking into the living room where Miza was waiting for me. I fiddled with the arm protectors, making sure they were the right fit.
Miza sat up in his seat and stared at me. He looked kind of shocked that the Ancients had come to see me. "Oh?" he asked, causing me to nod my head. "About what?" He stood, and I could see that he was ready for battle.
Instead of his normal robes, he was wearing a tunic and some pants. He had a breastplate over his chest as well as some arm protectors on his arms. His hand rested on the hilt of his sword.
"We have to split up for the first part of the journey," I said, causing him to frown.
"Tha-"
"My swords cannot handle the power of a God," I said. "Or at least killing one."
"How do you know?" he asked. "Have you ever killed a God?"
"Have you?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "And how do you think I'd know what would or wouldn't happen? They told me." I furrowed my brows and shrugged. "Or at least showed me."
Miza sighed and moved a hand through his hair. "Ok, what am I supposed to do?" he asked. "Or did they show you that?"
I frowned and nodded my head, hesitantly. "They showed a large field with three trees positioned like a triangle," I said, causing Miza to breathe in sharply. I gave him a questioning look but didn't ask when I saw the grave look on his face. "Shazaraks were around the trees trying to bring him back. You were supposed to fight them while I try to get whatever I need."
Miza frowned and nodded his head. "Anything else?" he asked. "Do I need to send people anywhere?"
I nodded. "If you can send some Gods and Goddess to Earth, then that'd help a lot. There is going to be a battlefront there and then two on here. One of them is for both you and me, and the other is on the north side."
"Why just us two?" Miza asked, causing me to shrug. He sighed and moved a hand through his hair, nodding his head. He had this look of doubt in his eyes, and I couldn't help but wonder if he was doubting what I was saying. "Anything else?" he asked.
Hesitantly, I nodded my head. I had no idea how he was going to react to this and wondered if he would try to forbid me from going. If he did, then I knew that I was going to have to use force. "They showed me battling him alone."
Miza shook his head no. "No," he said, softly. "I forbid it."
I shook my head and started to make my way to the Shazarak with Miza following me. "You can't forbid it," I said. "Even if you did, I would still do it."
"I can't lose you again, Sky," he said, his voice soft. "Think about everyone, your mate, and your pack."
I set my jaw. "I am," I said, softly. I glanced at him, surprised that he hadn't pulled me to a complete stop. "That is why I am doing this. He'll kill them all if he has to. He is getting stronger, Miza. He will be able to leave Carden soon if I don't stop him."
Miza sighed and nodded his head, moving a hand through his hair. "I am not going to be able to stop you, am I?"
I smirked, tiredly. "You already know that you won't be able to, so why bother trying?" I asked, causing him to chuckle and nod.
"What are we doing this way?" he asked, finally.
"We're getting the Shazarak," I replied. "He is needed."
"For?" Miza asked, furrowing his brows.
"Getting the rest of the Shazaraks near the trees," I replied. "That is why they didn't want me to kill him just yet. They want them all to die."

"I am not going to tell you anything, Diera," the Shazarak said, noticing Miza and I walking in. He stared at me, and I could see a bit of fear in his eyes.
"You don't have to," I said. "I know enough, but not all of it." I went over to where they had kept the supplies to transport him and picked them up.
"Then what are you going to do? Set me free?"
"But, of course," I replied. I smiled at him, showing sharpened teeth. "But not in the way that you would want us to." I walked over to him and dropped the stuff in front of him. "You are no use to us anymore."
The Shazarak looked at Miza. He understood what I meant, and I could tell that he was nervous. "Are you going to let her do this?"
"He has no choice," I replied. "Don't move or else I will torture you before I put this stuff on." I bared my teeth at him, causing him to become a slightly paler green.
The Shazarak didn't move from his spot as I placed the stuff on him. His whole body was tense, and I knew that he thought I would beat him anyway.
"Move," I instructed, pulling on the rope that connected his hands together. "I'll be there as soon as I can," I said, walking over to Miza. "They said that you know the place I am talking about?"
Miza nodded his head. "I do," he confirmed. "Do you know where it is?"
I shrugged my shoulder. "I was told that I'll be brought there." I licked my lips and looked at the Shazarak. I was worried that the Shazarak would try to escape and harm Miza. "Will you be alright?"
Miza nodded his head. "I think the question you are needing to ask is if you will be alright," he said. "I don't know what your journey holds."
I shrugged my shoulder and smirked. "Don't know," I replied. "But, now I have someone to fight for and not just my pack or Gods."
Miza nodded his head, again. "And with that, I bid you good luck."
