"So... you are my brother?" Virgel asked, looking at Ben. He was curled up near my side, his eyes red from crying.

Ben nodded his head. "I am," he confirmed. He was sitting in the seat across from us with Caroline near his side. He kept his hands folded in his lap, and I could tell that he was tired.

I understood. I was still tired, even though I had taken a two-hour nap before having a meeting with Jerecho and Moria. After that, Ben and I had decided to break the news to both Caroline and Virgel that Val- Vera was dead.

Virgel looked at me. "And, I already know that you are my sister," he said, causing me to nod my head. "Does that mean that you and Ben are brother and sister, too?"

"N-"

"Yes," I said, interrupting Ben. I gave him a look causing him to shut his mouth. I looked at my little brother. "But, we don't have the same parents. Family isn't always about who you share blood with. It is about the relationships that you form that run deeper than blood."

"Does that mean that I can be your sister?" a soft voice asked. Their voice cracked, and I could tell that they hadn't used it in a while.

I looked towards Caroline to see her face pale. Her eyes were wide open, and I could tell that she had thought she was going to get hurt. "You aren't going to get hurt if you speak," I said. "No one will hurt you ever again. I will not allow it."

Caroline nodded her head. "Can I be?" she asked, her voice barely a whisper. "Please?"

I nodded my head. "You can," I confirmed. I grunted when she threw herself at me and gave her a hug. I rubbed her back as she cried, knowing that she needed it.

There was a knock on the door causing us to look that way. Both Jethro and Reeves stood there, looking at the four of us.

"Are... you four finished? Drake wants to do the ceremony for the dead before Jethro and I leave," Reeves said. "That is why he wasn't there when you woke up."

I nodded my head. I knew that he wouldn't be there because he had told me before I had fallen asleep and had left me a letter. "I know."

Reeves nodded his head and held his hands out to his sister. "Are you going to give me a hug? I am sure that you are staying here, yes?"

Caroline nodded her head. She flung herself on her brother, causing him to grunt and take a step back. "I love you," she whispered.

Reeves tensed and hugged her closer to him. "I love you, too, Carrie," he whispered, placing a kiss on the edge of her head. "You're going to keep an eye on her?"

I nodded my head. "Of course," I replied. "Come on. Let's get going. I am sure that everyone is there."

Reeves and Jethro nodded their heads. They moved out of my way and gestured for me to walk by first. "Luna," Reeves said while Jethro said, "Tira."

Reeves looked at Jethro and frowned. "Tira?" he asked.

"It means Goddess," I replied, walking towards them. I had my brother's hand in my grasp and led him towards the door. "Or part Goddess."

"Then why did he call you "Goddess"?" Reeves asked, following me.

I looked at him and smirked. "Because," I replied. "I am part Goddess. Jerecho and Moria are my second set of parents thanks Luna and Miza."

"Wait, what?" Reeves asked as I walked to the front door and opened it to see the setting sun. "Skylar. What do you me-"

I didn't answer him but slammed the door shut. I knew that I was being rude when I didn't wait for him to walk through the door before I closed it, but I didn't want to tell him just yet.

I looked down at my little brother when he placed his head on my arm. I could tell that he was tired from everything that had happened, so I picked him up and caused him to lay his head on my shoulder.

I heard Reeves opening the door and muttering how rude I was to a chuckling Jethro. I could feel his gaze on my back, but it didn't bother me.

Looking back at this past year, I was surprised to see how much I had gained and how much I had lost.

I had gained a new family, a mate, and a new identity through being Jerecho's and Moria's daughter. I had gained the title of Godkiller and Tira, symbolizing my importance to the Gods and Goddesses. I had a gained a new pack. And even though I hadn't met everyone yet, I would still protect them with my life.

I had lost my father for the last time, and I knew that I wouldn't be able to see him again. I had lost the fear that I held deep within me, the little girl that looked at her father with fear and pain. I lost the stepmother that I had never known but gained two new brothers out of it.

Another thing that I had lost, and I didn't mind it, was the title of "Rogue". I was Drake's Luna and the High Rise Pack's Alpha until Virgel was old enough to take over if he wanted to take over.

I didn't think my mate would have a problem combining the remaining members of this pack to his. I knew we had the room for it.

My mate came into view standing on a hill. His gaze was on me, and I could feel the bond between us intensify. His face was covered by shadows, but I knew that he was smiling at me.

A smile curved onto my lips as I made my way towards him, carrying the now sleeping boy.

He, my mate, was my lover and my future. He would be my child's father if we were blessed with one and was my Alpha.

With him by my side, I was not going to be afraid of what the future will hold. I knew that Mahklha will try and kill me, but I knew that I was able to defeat them one by one until the one that bared the mark and born from the seventh moon could defeat the last host, according to Luna.

What that meant, I didn't know, but I wasn't worried about it. I knew that day would come in the future, and when it did come, I would be ready to finish Mahklha once and for all.
