Despite being brought up by a white family, she got to know her Colombian roots and taught herself Spanish. Grateful for her parents, she followed their footsteps by going to school to become a doctor. But after a random rebellious spark, she takes a break from schooling and moves away to get to know herself better. Rebellious, hard and hot-headed, Delaney isn't someone you want to screw over.

Leo feels entitled to anything and everything. She talks big and backs it up. There's nothing that she won't do for respect. Her ego can't be shaken which turns many people off, sometimes even her best friends Lin and Andy.

Lin is a go-lucky girl in a world of gangsters. She doesn't really fit in. Lin seems soft, but there's nothing she won't do if someone was to ever cross Leo or Andy.

Giana is Andy's goofy, little sister. The two are really close. Andy tends to be overprotective over her but it's all love. If anybody slightly pisses off Giana, Andy is ready to kill. Her little sister is off limits to anyone which causes conflict in Giana's love life.

Good friends with Leo, Lin and Andy. Rafael sometimes feels out of place because of his more sentimental nature. He's a passionate guy with a heart made out of gold. He's not as outspoken as his fellow three buddies but he always gets what he needs done. When Andy's back is against the wall, she knows that she can always go to him.

Delaney's best friend since Kindergarten. Mia grew up with a huge family, sharing rooms with her many brothers and sisters in a dangerous neighborhood while Delaney was the only child living in the wealthiest neighborhood. Despite their different upbringings, Delaney found a second family in Mia's. Mia helped Delaney learn Spanish and gave her a sense of heritage. The two are more like sisters than best friends. When Delaney said she wanted to move away and take a break from school, Mia packed up and left with her.

In Delaney's friend group, Tyra is all about being carefree and having fun. She's always bringing her girls to the latest parties and she's the life of the party. Even though Tyra loves to have fun she can also get pretty serious which is why the girls go to her for nearly every problem.

Lisa is in Delaney's friend group, but she's not like most of the girls. She openly deals with issues of abusing drugs and refuses any help that the girls try to get her. She loves partying which always leaves her in reckless situations. The girls always end up saving her life from some crazy circumstance.
