The television played loudly and pretty uncomfortably as I sat on the couch with Mia. I came back home after not seeing her for a couple of days and things were awkward. The last time we spoke in person, she had kissed me and confessed she wanted try things with girls. I thought the situation was funny and interesting, but I could tell she was still embarrassed about what happened. She didn't want to acknowledge it so she turned the television up and acted as if she was invested into the telenovela.

Mia was my friend and I wasn't going to let her feel ashamed over a little kiss. I didn't want the kiss to harm our friendship. Andy knew about it and her nasty ass was down with whatever. If I wanted to have sex with Mia and show her what it's like to be with a woman, I could but I wasn't sure how I felt. I wanted Mia to hopefully find someone she could experience with that wasn't me. The last thing I wanted was to ruin our relationship by pushing limits too far even if it just for learning purposes.

"If Andy is going to kill me, you can just tell me. I'm sure you told her what happened. How many days do I have to live? Or does she just want me out of town? Should I start packing my bags." Mia unexpectedly broke the silence. I thought I was going to have to make her talk, but she surprised me. I laughed a little and grabbed the remote from her lap. I turned off the loud television and fully turned to face her. She pressed her lips together and crossed her legs. "So, am I on her hit list?"

"She doesn't have a hit list, fool! And if she did, you wouldn't be on it. She was so thrilled when I told her what happened, like a f-cking child that just got a sh-t ton of candy," I told Mia with a slight roll of my eyes. "She's so f-cking annoying. She told me that I should be the one who you try things with. In return, she can either watch or I give her every single detail about our encounter. It's obvious that she wants to us to have sex, but I don't want things to get awkward between us if we did. I think we should try to find you someone first."

Mia laughed awkwardly and shifted on the couch. "Andy really is a freak, huh? I totally agree with you, though. I don't want things getting awkward between us. You've been my best friend since I can remember, since we were little f-cking girls. I don't want to ruin that because I'm curious. I do really want to do something with a girl, but I don't want to get between you and Andy or our friendship."

"Well, you know what we can do?" I gave Mia a mischievous smile. She rolled her eyes at me but also laughed.

"What, b-tch?"

"Tonight, you and I can go to a gay club and find yourself a girl! Andy can come too! We'll be your wingwomen and steer you in the right direction," I suggested to Mia. I could tell by her uneasy smile that she was already nervous. "Come on, it'll be fun! Hot girls are going to be everywhere and I know there's at least one that wants to try to turn a straight girl gay. Nearly every lesbian wants to be able to say she made a girl like girls."

"I don't know, Delaney. I'll feel like fresh meat. Like they'll want to eat me alive or something," Mia responded with a shrug.

"That's what we want! Listen, have I ever led you in the wrong direction. You're my girl! I'm your girl! We know what's best for each other, and I know that going to this gay club tonight is the best option if you want to have an enjoyable experience." I was egging Mia on as if I was selling her a product, but she really deserved a taste of being with a woman. It was magical and once she started, I'm sure she wouldn't want to stop.

"F-ck! Fine! Let's do this. Let's go! Tonight. Me. You. Andy. I'm going to get some from a girl!"

It was so fun getting Mia ready to find a woman. From telling her how to carry herself and let loose, to doing her make-up and picking out a bomb ass outfit, it was entertaining and exciting. My best friend is going to have an experience with a girl. It's almost hard to believe. Back in high school, she always gave me sh-t about how she didn't understand how I could like girls too. She thought vaginas were ugly and disgusting, but now she was having second thoughts. It was about time that she stepped over to the winning side.

As we got ready, it reminded me of high school. I would go over to her house and tell my parents we were going to have a sleepover while in reality, I was going over there to get ready so we could go to a house party or sneak into a nightclub. Back then, Mia had her no good boyfriend, and I was always dating some guy or girl which never ended too well. All my relationships in high school never lasted more than two months and was based on sex if anything else. Thank God, I glowed up to be with Eric and then glowed up to the highest tier to be with someone as lovely and faithful as Andy. I don't think things could get any better.

Mia and I ended up going to the club alone. Andy was focused on trying to fit the pieces together on who killed Craig and was coming after her and her crew. I would've asked Lisa and Tyra to come along but they would've just been distracting. I needed Mia to be focused and I needed my mind clear so I could find her the right girl.

When we walked in, I took Mia's hand. She was looking around as if she was in a whole other universe. There were plenty of gay men and women around and she was totally out of her element. I doubt she felt uncomfortable, but more astounded. It was a whole new, beautiful world to her. As we walked through the crowd of conversing and dancing people, I made sure to smile at some girls to let them know Mia and I weren't together.

The goal was to get them looking at us and when they tried to get with me, I'd explain that I had a girlfriend but Mia was totally down to f-ck. Hopefully, it would work out. "See anyone you like," I asked Mia as we stood off to the side. I had let go of her hand and she was scanning the club. "There's a lot of hot girls out tonight. You're lucky."

"Who do you think I should go after? Like what type? Girly girls? Girls like you? Tomboys?"

"It's all up to you, baby girl. Are you into studs or femmes or girls that's in between, also known as stems? Or are you into girls who don't label themselves and go with the flow? Or-"

"I don't know. What are you?"

"Well, I'm the closest to a femme. Why? Are you interested in girls like me?"

"Yeah, is that okay? Because I'm kind of just like you. I don't know if-"

"It doesn't matter. Some femmes are into femmes. Some studs are into other studs. It's whatever. It's a free world, girl! Know what...don't think about labels. Just nod your head over to a girl and I'll find a way to get her over here."

"I need drinks before we do this."

Mia and I made our way to the bar. We sat and drank as we commented on girls that we thought would be good for her. The more Mia drank, the more verbal she was about what she wanted. Her broad range of girls began narrowing down. She liked a little bit of everything, but the characteristics of the girls and how they dressed slimmed up the competition. It seemed me that liked stems with a more feminine touch. "I want her."

Mia nodded towards a girl who was staring at her from across the room. She had a friend with her. They were both stems and they were staring at the both of us. "Which one?"

"The one with the forwards dad hat. She looks like Rihanna if she was gay and I'm digging it. I want her." Mia was saying it as if she was going to just add the girl to her shopping cart. It wasn't that easy especially when she had a friend that was trying to most likely hook up with me.

"She has a friend."

"I know, she's cute too. Oh sh-t! They're coming over here! Okay, so just help me out! Just make sure I get her and you can leave the other hanging, okay?"

"I doubt it's going to go like-"

"What's up, ladies?" Damn, she really f-cking did look like Rihanna. I looked at Mia and then back to the girl standing in front of me to make sure I wasn't completely tripping. Her friend smiled at me and I gave a polite one back. She wasn't as hot, but it didn't matter anyways. She wasn't getting anything tonight, at least not from Mia and definitely not me. "I'm Ronni and this is Bones."

"Bones," I asked as I tried not to laugh. What kind of f-cking name was that? Was she in a f-cking gang or something? Andy was in a gang and she didn't have some ridiculous, lame nickname like that.

"Sounds better when you're screaming it," Bones said nonchalantly with a smirk. I nearly puked. Maybe that would've worked on single, in-and-out of relationships high school Delaney but I wasn't having it and it showed all over my face.

"We saw you two staring at us from across the room. You girls want to dance or something," Ronni asked as she stared at Mia. Mia looked at me and I nodded my head. "I take that as a yes." Ronni took Mia's hand and led her off to the dancefloor.

Bones reached her hand out to me but I just stared at it. She laughed. "Are you playing hard to get?"

"No, I just don't want you," I told her bluntly.

"Let me buy you drink."

"I have money." "I didn't say you didn't. I'm just trying to be nice."

"I don't like blondes."

"Good thing, I'm really a brunette." She gave me a wink and I rolled my eyes. I looked back at the dancefloor. Mia and Ronni seemed to be hitting it off. They were having fun and getting really close. "What's your name?"

"Skin."

"What?"

"Sounds better when you're screaming it." I laughed at my own joke, even though the idiot didn't get it. I told her my name was Skin because apparently her name was f-cking Bones, but it went right over her head. She ordered us a drink and she didn't get the petty joke until the bartender gave them to us. She broke the silence and laughed aloud.

"You're funny."

"Thanks, my girlfriend thinks so too." I took a sip from the drink she ordered and giggled to myself. I really hoped she would just leave me alone and understand that I was just here to make sure Ronni took Mia home or vice versa.

"Girlfriend?"

"Yes."

"If you have a girlfriend then why isn't she here?"

"Because I don't need my girlfriend to accompany everywhere I go."

Bones rolled her eyes and didn't say another word until Ronni and Mia came back a few minutes later. "Why don't we all head back to my place," Ronni asked with her arm around Mia. Mia was clung onto Ronni with a huge smile on her face. I guess Ronni was the one she wanted to try things out with.

"Man, no. This b-tch has a girlfriend," Bones said, referring to me. "We have to find some other girls that are down."

"Just because I'm not down, doesn't mean Mia isn't. Don't get mad because Ronni found somebody and you didn't."

"Do you give your girlfriend that much attitude?"

"I do. And what's your point?"

"I would slap the taste out of your mouth if you were my girlfriend."

I laughed hysterically as I reached into my clutch. "You see my girlfriend knows I'm crazy, but you..." I slowly pulled out my gun. "You, on the other hand, don't know that I will peel your f-cking scalp back."

Before Bones could say anything Ronni let go of Mia and grabbed Bones by the shirt. "Hey, why don't you leave her alone? That b-tch is crazy. Let's go."

Bones and Ronni ran off as I placed my gun back into my clutch. I thought Mia was going to be mad as hell. She was into Ronni, at least that's what it seemed like. But as soon as they ran away, she began laughing. "You're f-cking crazy! Holy sh-t!"

"Her ugly ass was trying it. I'm sorry, but she deserved to be taught a lesson. Ronni was cool so I'm sorry if I ruined that but-"

"Don't worry. She was hot but so was her breath. I was just sticking it out because she looks so much like Rihanna but now that I think about it, it wasn't worth it."

Mia joined me at the bar and the rest of the night, we laughed, drank and joked around. We tried to find some more girls, but they were all f-ck girls just like Bones. It wasn't until the club closed at 3 that we left. We caught an Uber and started laughing at how crazy the night was. "Well, that was a fail. Finding a b-tch at the club was a horrible idea," I told her. By this time, we were tipsy as f-ck and laughing at nearly everything each other said. Mia looked at me for a long time and giggled. "What?"

"You really tried tonight. Thank you." Mia sat there smiling at me, and part of me felt bad that I wasn't able to find her somebody to try things out with. It was my duty as a friend to help her see if she wanted to crossover to the other side. I was capable of helping her out and the alcohol in my system gave me a weird edge and recklessness.

"Anytime. You're my best friend. I'd do anything for you. Hey, you know what?"

"What?"

"I want you to have some good ass sex so I'm going to give it to you." We both laughed at each other like it was a joke for a good minute or so, but when we both stopped, we just stared at each other. Mia bit her lip before I leaned over and kissed her. She kissed me back hesitantly as her hand met my cheek. I reached over and unbuckled her seatbelt and she scooted closer to me. My hands met her waist as I pulled her onto my lap. Our lips moved together slowly and carefully as we both had second thoughts, but we knew we were in too deep to stop.

I felt the Uber driver swerve. I detached my lips from Mia's. "Keep your eyes on the road," I yelled at him before looking back towards her. "We should go to Andy's."

How do you feel about Mia trying things with Delaney?
