Though I was still mad at Andy, I couldn't deny the fact that I missed the hell out of her. We hadn't spent time together in what seemed like forever, but it had only been a week. I know I didn't do anything wrong, but I found myself being the bigger person. Maybe Andy was just sh-tty at apologies for sh-t that she couldn't remember. I'm not sure what the deal was, but prolonging things and being immature about the situation wasn't going to make things any better. Therefore, I found myself walking in the main clubhouse.
I knew Andy would be there because I texted Lin and asked her Andy's location. Of course, she told. It paid to be friends with your girlfriend's friends, especially when your girlfriend was being a f-cking brat. When I walked into the clubhouse, it was nothing out of the ordinary. It was just as trashy, filthy and filled with smoke from cigarettes, cigars and blunts. I shivered as I made my way to Andy's office. The door was closed shut so I decided to knock. I heard some laughter from the other side and I took a deep breath. It sounded like everyone was in there. My stomach turned and I started second guessing the knock.
Right when I was about to turn away and walk out, the door was pulled open by Leo. She seemed shocked to see me and I peeped behind her to catch Andy's reaction. She was leaning back against her desk and her smile slowly faded as Lin, Rafael and some girl sat across from her. Of course, Andy had to f-cking look good when I came to finalize business. This could either go really well or end pretty badly. The random girl sitting across from her, turned to face me and she looked familiar. Those blue eyes threw me off for some reason, but she wasn't who I was here for.
"Hey, Delaney. You look good." Leo looked me up and down and licked her lips. Andy smacked her lips but she didn't do anything but stare at the back of Leo's head. Leo chuckled before pulling me into a hug. I hugged her back before pushing her off before she held on for too long. I swear, this girl will never learn boundaries. "Where's Mia? How's Mia?" She asked that as if I didn't know Mia texted her all the time. They were basically friends or whatever the hell they were but I played stupid.
"She's good. She's out with Tyra and Lisa. I'm supposed to be meeting up with them not too long from now. Do you guys mind if I borrow Andy for a few minutes?" I was actually here against Mia and the girls' will. They thought I shouldn't give in so quickly but for once, I just wanted to be mature. I was hardly ever the bigger person. I acted on impulses and raw feelings, but some things just needed to be sensibly talked out and considered. This was one.
"Oh hell yeah, you can have her. We were just about to end the meeting," Rafael said as he jumped up from his chair. He patted Andy's shoulder before walking over to me and giving me a quick hug. "Don't be too hard on the knucklehead, Delaney. We've been trying to put some sense into that small little brain of hers."
"Yeah, don't go too hard on Andy. I don't want her to cry about it to us like she always does," Lin teased as she got up as well.
"I don't f-cking cry," Andy finally spoke up. Ha! As if I haven't seen her b-tch ass cry before.
Leo snickered and shook her head. "Okay, play macho in front of your girl but you were a sobbing Sally the other day, wimp. You little p-ssy." Andy jumped at Leo as if she was about to hit her and instead of flinching, Leo jumped back.
Lin pulled Leo by the collar and beckoned for the blue-eyed, unknown girl to follow. Slowly, but surely, they all exited the room. When the door shut, Andy scratched the back of her head awkwardly and looked down at her feet. "You're not here to yell at me again, are you? If so, I already have a headache."
I bit the inside of my cheek. It was kind of f-cked up that she was being so passive about my feelings. I wanted to slap some sense into her but I knew I couldn't. I could, but I wouldn't. "I'm just here to see if we can make things work. Right here, right now, we're either going to make this work or we're going to break up. No in-betweens. I'm tired of fighting. I'm tired of not seeing you. I really love you but I'm not going to stay in a stagnant, bullsh-t relationship. I've been through that too many times to waste any more time." Andy looked up at me and slowly nodded her head as I spoke. "So, do you want to make this work or do you think we should go separate ways?"
The question made me nervous. If she said, anything other than yes then I'm not sure what I'd do. Right now, I was playing it cool but on the inside, I was quivering. "I love you and I want to make this work. I know it's not that easy. I know I've been sh-tty and I want to apologize. I've asked around and how I acted that night was f-cked up. I was acting like an asshole towards you. You're supposed to be my girlfriend, the love of my life and I treated you like you weren't sh-t. That's not cool."
Andy stopped leaning against her desk and stood up straight. She was actually looking me into my eyes for the first time in a while and I felt as if she was being sincere. "So, I am, really f-cking sorry. I understand what I did wrong and I understand the consequences. I don't want to lose you so I'm going to stop drinking to get drunk. If I do drink, I'm going to have a limit and I'm not going to pass it. I'm not drinking unless I'm around people I know. And whenever they tell me that I need to stop drinking, I'll stop or they can knock me the f-ck out if I don't. The past week, my pride has been crazy. It makes no sense that you had to come here and get me to talk. It's stupid and that's something else I have to work on. I know there's a lot I need to work on, darlin'. But I'm willing to change."
I was about to say something but Andy continued talking. "I know you said no gifts and how you didn't want anything materialistic but yesterday, I bought something. I was working on the courage to push away my pride and go to see you but you came to me first." Andy walked behind her desk and pulled open a drawer. When she pulled out a small box, I tried to keep a neutral facial expression. I hope she wasn't about to ask me anything crazy. It was just a tad bit too early for that. "Hey, loosen up. It's not an engagement ring," she told me with a chuckle. I let out a relived sigh before laughing. "Our engagement will be way more extravagant, I promise."
"Just don't do it in front of a lot of people because I'll decline." Andy playfully rolled her eyes before walking in front of me with the box. She popped it open and I saw a pair of sparkling platinum necklaces. One had a pendant with the letter 'A' in cursive, while the other had a 'D.' I bit my lip as I tried to hide my smile but I ended up grinning from ear to ear.
"You're so f-cking cheesy," I told her as I pushed her shoulder playfully.
Andy took out the necklace that had my initial on it and shamelessly put it on as she handed me the box. I was laughing at how cheesy yet cute the whole thing was. I never had anyone actually give me something with their name or initial on it. Once Andy got hers on and she noticed that I was just laughing and looking down at the box, she took it from me. "Turn around, silly girl. Let me put it on you." I tried my best to stop laughing and turned around so Andy could put the necklace on me. Once she got it on, she kissed the nape of my neck softly. "Now everybody will know we're together."
"'A' could just stand for that I like ass." Andy ended up snickering and I laughed as well. "'D' could mean that you like d-ck." This time Andy didn't laugh, but I did. I turned to face her and her pouting lips. I placed my hands on her shoulders and gave her a smile. "Seriously, thank you. The necklace is really cute and I'm proud to wear it. Your pledge to stop getting drunk sounds promising too."
"Leo was right. You're looking like a snack," Andy told me as she looked at me up and down. I rolled my eyes at her as I giggled. Did she even hear anything that came from my mouth? Her hands met my bare back and she rubbed it soothingly. "I don't really get long sleeve crop tops. Like are you hot or cold? Or is it just for the style?" I was laughing at her dumb question but I think she was being serious. "F-ck it. I want to take you out tonight. To dinner and then we can have each other for dessert."
I pushed her shoulders and stepped back from her. "We just got back on good terms and your nasty ass is already horny," I said through laughter. "But I kind of promised I would go out clubbing with the girls tonight. You're more than welcome to come though, baby. It'll be fun."
"How about you just come over to my place after you have fun with your girls? I don't want to intrude and I'm not really feeling the clubs tonight, darlin.'."
"Sounds good to me." I gave Andy a kiss, which she hilariously overreacted over. She dramatically touched her lips as her lower lip dropped. "What are you doing, dumbass?"
"I haven't felt those soft f-cking lips in so long. F-ck, give me another one." I couldn't take her seriously at the moment. Once again, I was laughing. She leaned in for another kiss and I gave her one. She kissed me back as she held my cheeks. "Those Hershey kisses never get old," she told me once I pulled away. I rolled my eyes at her overused and corny joke.
Andy and I caught up on our past week. I told her about how I met my parents and told her about my father who wasn't that bad nor scary. I felt like the two of them would get along well. As for Andy, she told me about the blue eyed girl that was in the office with her and her friends. Apparently, they thought she was the perfect candidate to take Andy's place as one of the chiefs. Her name was Eva and Andy spoke highly of her. They got close over the past week and little did they know, their fathers were close back in the day. It was weird that Andy had a friend that she could realistically be attracted to, but I wasn't really worried about it. I trusted her and I trusted her friends to put Eva in her place if she tried anything.

"Somebody come get her! She's dancing like a stripper," Lisa sung out at Tyra who was twerking on Mia. My two friends were on the dancefloor dancing as if it was the last night of their life. Mia was grinning from ear to ear as her hands were placed firmly on Tyra's hips, and Tyra didn't hold back as she backed up on her. I was laughing hysterically. We were all drunk off of our ass and it seemed like the DJ were playing all the right songs. We were taking turns dancing with each other and we found everyone around us watching and trying to dance with us too.
"Somebody come tip her, she's dancing like a stripper," I sang along to the song as I also pointed towards Tyra and Mia. I began dancing by myself with my eyes closed. When I felt a hand on my hips, I laughed and started dancing against the person, thinking it was Lisa or one of the girls. But when I felt something hard against my ass, I turned back and nearly jumped out of my skin. Not only was it a guy, but it was the motherf-cker, Luis, from my father's gang. He laughed and put his hands in the air. "What are you doing here," I screamed at him over the music.
"Partying, dancing just like you," he responded as he nodded his head to the music. He grabbed my hand and leaned in so I could hear him better. "Why'd you stop dancing?"
"I was just expecting one of my girls. I'm not really trying to dance with anybody else. You know?"
"We danced at the party the other day though," he told me as his thumb caressed my hand. "Aye, come on. I love this song. Just one dance to this song. You have to do me the honor. We dance so good together."
I bit my lower lip. I had danced with him at the party and honestly it was just dancing. Plus, I really liked this song too. It was one of my favorites to dance to with someone else. Everybody was already grabbing a partner so why not? There was no harm, right? I mean, it was f-cking Red Nose, who didn't dance to this song?
As I began dancing, I spotted Mia, Tyra and Lisa all giggling and looking over at Luis and I. I'll admit things were getting heated. He was being way too touchy and I was too drunk to tell him to chill out. We danced for more than one song and he was touching me anywhere and everywhere he wanted. Lucky for me, the alcohol that I drank prior seemed like it wanted to come up. I rushed from the dancefloor and to the bathroom. There was a long line of girls waiting but I skipped all of them and threw up in the nearest bin.
My girls had followed me and soon Mia was holding up my hair as Tyra and Lisa kept asking me if I was okay. "Girl, I told you to stop after your fifth shot of Tequila. But you don't f-cking listen, you almost puked all over that sexy papi back there," Tyra said as she rubbed my back.
Mia chuckled and handed me a paper towel once I got finished vomiting. "Every time that fine man comes around, she loses all of her home training. She better stops before Andy puts a clip in them both."
"You're right. I knocked out a girl's teeth for dancing on Andy the same way I was dancing on him. Damn," I said once the realization hit me.
"Two drunks in one couple. Legendary," Lisa noted.
"Better than two crackheads in a relationship," I shot back. Even though Lisa was single, she always dated people just as addicted to drugs as she was. Her cokehead ass had no right to talk. She rolled her eyes and I put my hand on my forehead. "Camilo told me to stay away from Luis's crazy ass and my drunk ass danced on him."
"Are you attracted to him," Tyra asked me as she gave me a skeptical look.
"I think he's a gorgeous man. But would I f-ck him? No. Would I date him? No. I have Andy. He doesn't compare. The tequila just got me f-cked up but I'm good. I'm staying away from him. But f-ck that, girls, let's not let that stop our good time. Luis is cancelled. If he comes back up, we'll jump him!"
"How about if he comes back up we'll all just takes turns jumping on his d-ck," Tyra insisted.
We all laughed and headed back to the dancefloor. Luckily, Luis didn't show back up. The girls and I danced with each other for about another hour until we caught Ubers to different destinations. While they went back to my place, I went to see Andy. She was more than happy to see me. When I arrived, she was already half-naked and I pounced on her before she could say a word. I missed her a lot, in many ways and of course, sex was one. We made love until the sun came up and everything we did reassured me that Luis had nothing on her.

Are you guys happy Andy and Delaney got it worked out?
