"Man, D-ckless was right. It is cold this time of the year," Rafael said as soon as we stepped off the plane. He shivered and looked around the seemingly abandoned landing strip before putting his jacket's hood over his head.

"And wet," Lin added as she looked up at the sky that was drizzling down rain.

It was about thirty degrees and the rain made my hands freeze every time it hit my skin. I stuffed my hands into the pockets of my jacket and took a deep breath of relief. Not only did I feel a little closer to Delaney, but I was happy to have my feet back on solid ground. The plane ride was almost thirteen hours and while everyone tried to make things light and entertaining by introducing games and conversation, I spent most of the flight staring out the window and thinking about all the possibilities of what I would do to Diego when I saw him.

My AK was holstered on my side and I was ready to take down Diego and anyone else that stood in my way. Delaney had been with her father for almost 48 hours and I didn't even want to think about how miserable she was. I wasn't wasting any seconds to get to her, so I led off my friends by walking towards two black, off-road Jeeps.

One thing about the De Palma Family, we had factions all over the globe. Iceland may have not been a dominant territory for gang-related activities, but we still had plenty of De Palma members on site. So, it wasn't hard to get ahold of our Iceland faction and ask to use their private landing strip which was driving distance from Diego's hideout. Anton, the leader of Iceland's factions couldn't meet me face to face, but he was courteous enough to leave us the two Jeeps and containers full of gas in case we got lost.

"Can we agree that Luis is now called 'D-ckless," Leo asked with a chuckle as she followed behind me down the strip to the Jeeps.

"Yeah, definitely suits him," Lin said with a shake of her head and a laugh. "You know what's sad, our guys are probably doing far worse damage than what we did. I bet he has at least fifteen of his teeth removed by now. D-ckless is in hell right now."

"Hell's too good for that motherf-cker," Camilo replied vaguely.

"Enough of the joking, we came here for a reason. It's going on 48 hours since Delaney has been with her twisted ass father. This isn't some chill ass vacation." Iceland was beautiful from the mountains to the gloomy atmosphere, but I couldn't focus on that. I could only focus on Delaney.

Camilo drove my Jeep as I sat in the passenger side while the rest of my friends drove in the other. We drove side by side as we went through rough terrain. At one point, Camilo had rolled down his window and yelled out to Rafael who was driving the other Jeep, and asked him if he wanted to race. They raced briefly, like two complete dumbasses, until Rafael nearly drifted off of a motherf-cking cliff. Soon, things weren't so funny for everyone and I was glad. I hated to be that person, but I just wasn't in the joking mood. I understood that they were trying not to make things so heavy and see things in a positive light, but I couldn't get with it.

After a few more minutes of driving in silence with Camilo, he decided to speak up. He briefly looked over to me before looking back forward to the landscape of the gorgeous Iceland. "We're going to get her back. Don't worry about it. Camila's, no, f-ck that, Delaney's strong and she's going to be okay."

"I know. I don't doubt her, but I just have to see it. I won't feel right until I see her and know she's in a good state," I told him dryly.

"I know the feeling. I'm worried about Delaney as well, but she's a fighter. My father is a horrible man. I don't see how I didn't see this before. It's almost like he changed overnight. And my mom, I don't even know where she is and part of me feels like she's not even alive. She would've been reached out towards me, in some kind of way, and I know she wouldn't agree with what he's doing," Camilo openly voiced to me. I could hear the rawness in his voice and I couldn't imagine being in his shoes.

His father turned against him and turned out to be a psychopath. His mother was nowhere to be found and could possibly be dead. His sister was kidnapped by his father and there was no telling what she was going through. His face was black and purple from the beating that his father's crew gave him. He was going through more than me, but he was handling it in a different way. While I wasn't participating in conversations and jokes, he was. That showed how positive and strong Camilo was.

We parked about two miles away from where the coordinates pinpointed Diego's location. There was nothing but open space and mountains, so it would be easy for Diego to spot us if he had his crew with him. Walking on foot, however, gave us at least a slight advantage. He'd definitely hear us pulling up in Jeeps, but on foot, we had silence on our side.

"Remember when we first met Delaney? Andy punched you in the face to get her number," Lin said with a laugh as she nudged Leo.

We had only been walking for a mere minute before a conversation was struck up. I was guilty of laughing a little bit. "Her and I were talking about that just the other day. She called me a fake friend for actually doing it, but I know Leo would do the same sh-t if it was the other way around."

"Hell yeah, I would. Before I began seeing Delaney as a friend, she was fine as f-ck. Fascinating face. Banging body. Tasty-looking titties," Leo said as she seemed to be drifting off in her own world. I cleared my throat. "But now when I see her, it's like her titties are censored. It's like watching a Japanese porn or something."

"And we're going to just end the conversation there," Camilo said through uncomfortable laughter. "Does she say off the wall sh-t like this all the time?"

"All the f-cking time," Lin, Rafael and I seemed to say in unison.

"I remember how we first met, Andy. You thought Delaney was cheating on you with me. Damn, dude, you were angry as f-ck. You were turning red and sh-t and ready to kill me in the middle of a damn restaurant. That was a very bad time. But I'd rather relive that again than to be doing what we're doing right now," Camilo said slowly. "Who thought it'd end up like this? You and I would become friends, and my father would be a psychopath. My mother would be missing or dead. And Delaney would be...taken."

"I can see the cottage. The lights are on and no one's guarding the perimeter," I said, changing the subject. "It seems like no one is here but them, if it is them in there." I began nearly jogging towards the cottage. I was going to spare every second Delaney had to spend with that sick f-ck. "I swear if D-ckless lied to us, I'm going to...f-ck, how can you torture a d-ckless, man."

"Not much you can do from that point but kill the f-cker," Rafael said.

"That's my dad's car. I know that bright ass red Jeep anywhere. They're here. How should we do this? Barge in?"

"Camilo and I can go to the front door, peek in the window and see how we should go about things. It all depends on what Diego is doing, what state Delaney is in and who's in there with them. Leo, I need you by his Jeep. If he somehow gets away, that's where he's going to run. Rafael and Lin, I need you two at the back door just in case he tries to run out. Don't kill him unless you absolutely have to. Are we clear?"

Everyone nodded their head before we all got in our positions. "Are you ready to do this," I whispered to Camilo. He nodded his head seriously. "He's your father and..."

"I'll kill him myself if I need to, just check the window and see what's he doing," he told me firmly.

I carefully made my way to the window where the blinds were slightly drawn. To see through the blinds, I had to bend down a little. The cottage had loud Oldies music coming from it, so it had to be an older person in the house. We had to just double check that it was Diego. There was the red Jeep, the old music but was it him?

I took a deep breath and focused my eyesight into the house. There was a brown, leather couch and a man was sitting down on it, tapping his feet and nodding his head with his eyes closed. It was definitely Diego, but where was Delaney? My heart began racing and I inspected the small, open cottage even more. It had a traditional style to it and it seemed like there was no one else in it. "He probably has a handgun on him, but he's distracted by listening to music. Barge in and grab him," I told Camilo as calmly as possible.

Without hesitation, Camilo kicked down the door and ran in. I was running in shortly behind him and I got in just in time to see the shocked look on Diego's face. He had no time to reach for any weapons. Camilo had his hand wrapped around his father's throat in no time and he pushed the man against the cottage's wall. "Where's Delaney," he asked his father before delivering a heavy blow to his stomach.

It seemed like Camilo had things under control, so I decided to search through the cottage. The cottage was so small that it only had two doors. I went towards the closest door and ran inside of it. It was nothing but a vacant bathroom, so I went to the next. I felt like my heart was going to beat out of my chest. If Delaney wasn't here, then I don't know what I would do.

The second door brought me into a bedroom. There was a full-sized bed and Delaney was laying on it with her eyes closed. She was in men's shorts and a t-shirt and she looked so peaceful, as if she was just sleeping. Her body was bruised, even her knuckles. She had to be fighting to get away from Diego, but probably gave up just to get some rest and wake up and fight again. A smile slowly came onto my face as I approached her.

I sat on the side of the bed beside her and shook her shoulder lightly. "Hey, darlin'. Delaney, wake up. It's time to go." She remained still. Her body was warm, so I knew she wasn't dead, but she was completely knocked out. I checked her pulse, and everything seemed well. So, why wasn't she waking up? I continuously shook her until Camilo ran in.

"Is she okay," he asked as he ran over to her.

"Where's Diego," I yelled at him with wide-eyes.

"Don't worry. Rafael and Leo are holding him down. What's wrong with Delaney?!"

"She's alive and her pulse is good, but she won't budge. I think he gave her something to keep her asleep for a while. She's probably been out for a while. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, but she's bruised up and she obviously put up a fight," I told Camilo as I looked from Delaney to him. He seemed just as clueless as me. He stared at Delaney for a few seconds before he ran back out of the room as if he was on a mission.

"What the f-ck did you give her," I heard him yell at Diego.

I pushed Delaney's hair out of her face and gently picked her up in my arms. Her body was limp and didn't react a bit to me picking her up. I kissed her forehead. "We're going to get you out of here, darlin'," I told her softly before walking out into the main room.

Diego was getting punched by Camilo and I don't think he had said a word since we barged in. "F-cking speak up!" He gave a blow to his father's jaw and Diego spit out blood on the floor before laughing to himself.

"Camilo, do you think I would hurt Delaney," Diego finally spoke. "She's fine. I gave her something to knock her out for the travel to Iceland. She kept fighting me and it hurt my heart to hit her every time she got disorderly, so I drugged her to keep her quiet for a few hours. She woke up again, but she was violent, so I just forced more down her throat. She'll be fine. It's just roofies. Kids take that sh-t for fun."

"You gave her f-cking roofies," I yelled at Diego. I passed Delaney to Lin and he laughed hysterically at me as if the interaction was funny.

"You're so cute. How does it feel to win? You get Camila, but we all know you're going to hurt her in the end. You're just like me. You care about her too much, just like me."

Now, it was my turn to laugh. This man had no idea what he was talking about. I pushed Camilo out of my way and while Leo and Rafael held him down, I kicked Diego in his face. I began stomping him in the face viciously to the point, it was safe for Leo and Rafael to let him go. "You don't know me. You'll never know me, you sick son of a b-tch!" I stopped stomping him out when Camilo put his hand on my shoulder.

"Andy, I'm all good for you killing him but I have a question for him first," Camilo said as he stepped in front of me. His father was gasping for breath and a couple more stomps and I knew he would be dead, but I let Camilo have his last moments with his father. "Where is she? Where is mom?"

His dad had nothing to lose. He knew he was going to die and there was no need in playing games. "My son, she's dead. She called me crazy and said that she wouldn't let me ruin Camila's life and pulled a knife on me. I did what I had to do. I killed her and had Luis chop up her body and burn it," Diego said slowly as he talked through the pain and blood pouring from his mouth. "I loved her, but she got in my way."

Camilo stepped away from his father, turned around and covered his face as he allowed himself to let out a cry. Diego was really a sick piece of sh-t. He ruined not one but two of kids' lives. He took their mother out of their lives so he could be selfish. He was sick f-ck and I felt sick to my stomach not only for Delaney, but Camilo too. But this wasn't the time for comforting, I took a deep breath and looked down at Diego. "Any last words?"

"You're just like me, Andy. More like me than my own son. You're-"

Before Diego could finish his bullsh-t speech, I began stomping his head with the bottom of my boots as if I was trying to kill a bug. I stomped and stomped until I knew he was dead, until pieces of his brain were stuck to the bottom of my boot. When I stepped away, I was sure the deed was done but Camilo pulled out his handgun and shot his dad in the face until there was almost nothing left. Brains and blood was all over the place and it was truly a horrific and disgusting scene. I knew I would probably have nightmares about it, but at the moment, it felt right.

Ding Dong, Diego is dead. How do you guys feel about how he died?
