Careful with her every move, Paris knew how easy it would be for Shane to find her. Overlooking the city of Miami from a penthouse she had just rented, she knew to play her cards carefully !! No-one knew where she was, not her mom, not Justine, and not even Kelsey !! She hadn't been outside in a good 3 weeks, and she didn't plan on stepping into the devils den until she was for sure that Shane had received his divorce papers..

Giving her the confirmation she had needed her lawyer had informed her that Shane had been served, all she was waiting on now was a phone call ..

Hearing her phone ring, she smirked as she sat her glass of wine down and walked back inside to take the phone call ..

"Yes ? Shane .." She said not even paying attention to the caller ID, She knew it was him

"Where you at ? We need to talk !!" He said sternly

Shaking her head Paris sat down, well prepared for this conversation she knew it was coming "What do we need to talk about ?" She asked

Chuckling, Shane licked his lips "Don't play dumb Paris !!" He said

"Who's playing dumb ?" Taking a sip of her wine she stood to her feet going back outside to the balcony

Hearing Shane sigh on the other end of the phone, she knew she was striking a nerve "Paris, I ain't seen my kids in damn near a fuckin month !! So what the fuck you gonna do ?" Shane asked as he rubbed his temple

"I was waiting until you got served, you can see them !!" She replied calmly

"Where we meeting ?" He asked

"You'll be meeting your mom with them, tonight !!" She said

Laughing, Shane bit his lip "Why not you ?" He asked

"Shane, I've been married to you for 5 years .. known you for damn near 7, so I'm not stupid !!" She said as she watched the waves roll up on the beach ..

Hearing Shane's laughing once again, She rolled her eyes at how the sound of his voice made her miss him ..

"Touché Mrs.Carter !!" He said

"Are we done ?" She asked ready to get off the phone with him

"Naw, I need to talk to you in person .. You know I'm not signing no divorce papers right ?" Shane asked

Taking a minute to think about what he said, Paris smirked .. "Well you know we're done right ?" She asked

After not hearing a response on his end she ended the call ..

Staring at the screen of his phone, Shane wore a smirk on his face .. Thinking about what Paris had said he wasn't gonna let her go that easy !! Watching as his brother made his way into his office he sat aside his thoughts on his wife ..

"What's up ?" He asked

"We need to head back to Cali !!" Shamar said as he sat down

"Thought that shit was tomorrow !!" Sitting his phone down, Shane thought of his kids .. He had seen SJ numerous of times but since the whole situation with him and Paris he hadn't seen the twins nor Shilo

"Naw, it's been moved up !!" He responded

"Fuck, Paris finally letting me see the kids .. Tonight !!" Leaning his head back on his chair, He tried to think of a way to make both happen

"Just stay here, I can handle it alone !!" Shamar replied

"You sure about that ?" Shane asked as he stared at the ceiling, still thinking of Paris ..

"Fuck yeah, Trey can go with me instead !! The shit will only take a day or two anyway !!" He replied

Nodding, Shane agreed "Well aight !!" He said glancing over at his brother ..

"While you here you need to be butterin Paris ass up too, I'm tired of Kelsey whining about how she miss her and shit !! Getting on my damn nerves .. " He said as he stood to his feet

Laughing, Shane picked up his phone not saying anything

"She'll be back, they always come back !!" Shamar added

"Iono about this time, She filed for a fuckin divorce !!" Pushing the paper towards his brother, Shamar picked up Shane's divorce papers

"Damn !! She serious !!" He said reading over the papers

"Hell yeah .." Shane sighed as he put his hands behind his head thinking ..

"That just mean you got some work to do !! Get to it .." Shamar replied as he ripped the papers up and tossed them on his brothers desk then walked away ..

Smiling, Shane grabbed the trash next to him and pushed the ripped papers inside of it ..

"When can I see you ?" Kelsey asked into the phone

Smirking, Paris looked around as she sat at the table outside of one of her favorite restaurants right across the street from the penthouse she was staying in ..

"Now, Meet me at Brie right now .. and Kelsey make sure you're not being followed !!" She whined into the phone ..

She knew exactly how Shane and his brother operated, and she was positive they had somebody following Kelsey to see if she met up with her ..

Shaking her head at the thought of it, Paris placed her and Kelsey's orders as she waited ..

Within 30 minutes, Kelsey walked up to her table ..

"Biiiiitch !!" She laughed as she opened her arms for Paris ..

Standing up, Paris laughed as she met her halfway to hug her ..

"Hey Kels !!" She said

"Where have you been P ?!" Kelsey asked as she sat down

"You know I'm not telling you !!" She responded, catching the expression on Kelsey's face she corrected herself "I'm not gonna tell you because you can't tell what you don't know !! I trust you, I don't trust my brother in law !!" She explained

Nodding, Kelsey understood "It's fine, I'm just glad to see you !! It's damn near been a month !!" She said

"I know, My lawyer served Shane with the divorce papers !!" She said as she looked down stirring her straw around in her drink ..

"Wow !!" Kelsey said, as Paris nodded

"Yeap .. I know he's not gonna sign them though !! We'll eventually be meeting up in court !!" She responded

"What about the kids ?" Kelsey asked

"They're with Justine right now, She's supposed to be taking them to see him tonight !! He hasn't seen them in 3 weeks !! They've been with me .." She said

"How you feel ?" Kelsey asked

Sighing, Paris watched as the waitress brought their food "I'm fine, as long as I don't think about it !! I miss him, and hate him at the same damn time !! But I know I'll get over him eventually I just need to forget about him !!" She responded

Nodding, Kelsey agreed "I'm here for you no matter what !!" She said with a smile

"I already know Kels !! I'm gonna need you .. I think this will be the hardest thing I've ever done !!" She said "But I'm done !! I want a divorce !!"
