Nineteen: Admirer

The pocket was warm and dark and she felt like a sardined bunched up in a can. Now that his hand was free from inside the pocket with her, no longer holding her anymore and allowing her to spread out her limbs. She sat quietly in the bottom of the deep hammock of fabric, embarrassed and warm and feeling her heart in her ears. She could tolerate the smaller space, it wasn't as bad as one would think but it did make her uncomfortable as there wasn't enough natural daylight, just black all around her that swayed with each of Darricks steps. She felt uneasy, being so small, trapped in a pocket. Unable to know what was happening and not daring to stand, too embarrassed to show her face to Darrick.

While she was comfortable and was able to sit and wait she couldn't help but feel anxious being with Darrick. A stranger. This beautiful, strong and kind stranger, he who helped her as if he were a saint or an angel, this stranger.. who held her within his pocket like a doll. Could so easily throw her to the curb and leave her there..

This made her breath tense and she forced herself not to hyperventilate on the cologne scented air. If she were to stand, speak a word or be taken out into his hand she didn't know how she would react. Curl into a ball and cry? To make eye contact would surely kill her with embarrassment, and she knew she would blush the colour of cherry popsicles after their moment earlier with him having to calm her from having a panic attack. She could still feel the warmth of his fingers on her chest and shoulders, making her cheeks warmer and her insides twist.

She could hear the large steady footsteps on the pavement, Darrick walking somewhere, anywhere he liked really as she was too small to say otherwise or do anything. She had lost track of time. If the sunset had been and gone she wouldn't of known, the pocket around her blocking any evidence of there being an outside world. She should be out and trying to talk to him, say anything , thank the boy that held her captive. But she couldn't bring herself to do it, embarrassed and scared.

Yet the claustrophobia was intense and the pull of the outside world overwhelmed her and she began to slowly crawl onto her knees, hopeful for The cool air on her cheeks outside the pocket, it swaying beneath her with every movement.

BRRRRR! BRRR! BRRRR!

She jumped a little as the darkness that once embraced her suddenly turned into a soft white glow, her eyes widening and she looks down to see her pocket, noticing.. her phone! The buzzer of the phone went off like an annoyed bee, buzzing again and again until she picked it up to see new messages glowing on her screen.

-Austin: where are you? I'll come get you just stuck with Lenny.

-Jace: ARE YOU OKAY!!! IM SORRY I HOPE YOUR NOT MAD!

-Austin: have you hooked up with Darrick yet?

-Jace: ILL MAKE THIS UP TO YOU!

-Austin: get in

Scoffing she sat back in the curve of the pocket, smiling at her phone seeing the bombardment of messages she received from the two boys. Almost forgetting that she was inside a pocket as she began replying.

( To Austin) Tess: I'm with Darrick I don't know where he's taking me, and quit saying that! Nothings going to happen between us ok!

(To Jace) Tess: I'm okay! don't worry I~

She flinched as she was interrupted as her vision filled with light, brighter than her phone and filled the dark cave of the pocket that she was blinded. She raises a small hand to the brilliant sun rays, hiding her face after so long in the pocket her eyes had become unaccustomed to the sun raises. She gave a gasp at what she saw. Three very long, very large digits enter, curling around the edge and snaking inside, so large and strong as they searched for her body inside, quick to find her and pinch at her hips, lifting her so effortlessly from where she sat and dragged her up and out into the open world outside. It took her breath away and she had to hold back a scream.

"Hey! Put me down!!" She squeals as her eyes met the ground, so far down below where she spotted two long legs and covered feet, standing high like a skyscraper. Her heart fell to the pit of her stomach as she was lifted up and up, grasping desperately onto the fingers that held her for dear life.

"Sorry, sorry" she heard him speak quickly way before she could see him, whining seeing another hand coming up from beneath her to act as a platform that she was set down upon onto her stomach. Her face was red and strawberry blonde locks became caught in her eyes, push it back out of her cherry face she froze, taking heavy breaths trying to regain herself, where she was and what was happening. She could feel him looking at her, feel his breath brush the back of her neck. His shadow that engulfed her was a big giveaway. Slowly at first she began turning over, only to meet the gaze with large hazel iris's. Leant in so close, staring at her.

She gasps loud at the unexpected proximity between the two and scrambled to stand, back peddling away from the giant face only to have her back press into something warm. Looking frantically to see that his other hand was acting as a wall to prevent her from falling. Her heart pounded and she felt like bursting into tears, it only made it worst as she could only imagine how she looked. A small embarrassed mess being standing in the hands of Darrick, so stupid and helpless

"Hey just chill out would you, I'm not gonna hurt you okay?" She looked up, sharp breaths ripping through her lungs. He was handsome.. from the deepness of his hazel eyes to the gentle expression that played across his face and voice. She lost herself in her mind for a moment and forgot who he was and the embarrassed red mask she wore

"I'm not going to hurt you, Tess.. just~ stop. Take deep breaths. In and out" he looked at her, with those deep brown eyes. He takes a deep breath through his nose and lets it out from his mouth, "like this, in and out"

She hesitated at first, staring at him confused and surprised at why he was being so kind. Telling her to breathe, showing her how to calm herself. Even if they weren't close he seemed to care, for some odd reason he was being soft in a way she'd never seen before. He continued to breathe, his eyes watching her closely until she copied.. taking a soft breath in and then out like he did. Again and again until they were in time

"Better?" He spoke low, almost a whisper. She gave a slow nod, quiet as she looked back at him. She'd never been so close to him before, she could see every detail in his skin, the curve of his lips and flecks of gold in his eyes, "ok, good~" he looked down away from her and she eyed him curiously as he reached into his jean pocket for something and she saw him retrieve keys.

"Thank you.." she blushed, not realising the words were about to leave her lips until she'd said it, sinking down in on herself when his eyes turned to look at her again. His face blank, looking to her, analysing her for what seemed like an eternity, eyes burning into her soul. She shifted uncomfortably beneath his gaze, her eyes turning a little to look to the wrinkles that created designs across his palm.

"It's okay, Tess. Just don't freak out on me again okay?" he hummed, deep and low which made a shiver run down her spine. She looked up hesitantly, again to meet his gaze to see a smile, and probably the prettiest damn thing she'd ever seen. It extended across his face and deep into his soul, truly showing his gentle side that she'd never seen before. She smiled in return, feeling the apples of her cheeks grow warm in return

"Okay.." she speaks shyly, grabbing at her arm and twisting a strand of hair as she adverts her eyes hearing his rumbling chuckle.

"I've heard you speak already Tess, you don't need to be shy." Darrick spoke and his finger lightly grazed her arm. She felt her face turn red and she internally screamed, hating how she was acting in that moment in front of him

"I know.. I just Uh"

"Don't stress yourself, Its okay. Come on I'll take you inside" Darrick gave a tight smile, nodding his head and using his free hand to tug down at his beanie over his forehead. It was only then that she realised where they were, they were at Austin's house! Standing on the front lawn and was now making their way into Austin's home, Darrick having what she guessed to be a spare key from his pocket and unlocked the door to go inside, making his way up to Austin's room.

While making their way in, she couldn't help but feel strange being in the house with just Darrick and not Austin. Felt strange being held by the large boy, who was so soft and careful unlike Austin who held her like a doll sometimes

They didn't make it far until Brian appeared from the kitchen doorway, his eyes widening and a kind welcoming smile comes across his face "Darrick? Tess? What a surprise.. Darrick How are you? How's your mother?" Brian stood in the doorway, his salt and pepper hair combed back neatly and eyes wrinkled with his smile. she couldn't help but be amused at the apron he wore and the mitts that hugged his hands, he really was like a house wife always cooking and taking care of the family.

"I'm good. Mums okay, she's.. she's getting by" Darrick spoke soft and she turned her eyes up to see him shift a little, clearing his throat as he met his eyes with Brian, a more serious look coming over his features, jaw noticeably clenching at the mention of his mother. She began to wonder if his mother was sick?

"I'm glad to hear, oh remind me I'll give you some food to take back with you for her. Hello Tess, im sure Darricks taking good care of you" Brian nodded but his brow raised, noticing that Austin was never bringing Tess home.

"Hi~ yes.. he is" she pipes out, glancing to Darrick who was avoiding eye contact then back into her lap where she sits. Brian gave a small nod, glancing between the two with curiosity in his eyes, not even asking where Austin was before he slipped back into the kitchen again once Darrick thanked him and said goodbye , falling quiet as he turned to head back upstairs and makes his way into Austin's room. He parts ways with her once inside by setting her on the desk where her home had been placed while he pulls out the seat from beneath the desk and sits down, rolling back on the wheels away from her to give her space.

Pulling off his beanie, his black hair darker then the night sky falls into his face, his hazel eyes soft as he looked away toward the window while bringing his hands up to tug off his jacket from his body, setting it down beside him on the arm chair so he could lounge back.

Standing upon her porch she looked out at the giant, who lounged in the chair with his hands holding his small phone which he'd retrieved. She bit at her lip, moving to lean into the railing as she looked out at him. He was large, his presence in the room big and noticeable. Yet his size didn't replicate his personality, he was soft, a gentle soul.

"So~" she started, wanting to make conversation with the guy. She sat thinking what to say until her mouth felt almost too dry to speak. She clears her throat and like an idiot she begins speak " I saw that you got a tattoo.. ?" She blurted randomly, eyes widening and she sunk backwards toward her home a little as his attention finally turned to look at her

"How did you know I had a tattoo" He gave a light smile, his brow raised hearing her words he surprisingly gave a low chuckle. "Have you been spying on me"

"No! No I Uh, I saw it a little the other day" she spoke soft and bites at the side of her lip, feeling stupid for ever saying anything but curiosity got the better of her and she leant forwards wondering if he'd show her.

"Uh I see, do you wanna see it" he asked and brought his hands down and she felt her head spine as he reached to grab at the bottom of his shirt to pull up.

"Uh~ okay" she spoke soft, shy and unsure but instead was met with a small smile playing at his lips, almost a playful smile as he brough the shirt up off his body and dragged it off over his head, hooking it behind his neck. She didn't get the time to realise what was happening, his shirt was off and he was exposed. She lost her breath, her eyes grew wide and her cheeks warm at the sight before her

Darrick was like some god, every muscle on his torso flowing and rippling. He was a living work of art, his tan skin so tempting to reach out and touch; every move showing off his strength. His eyes were locked onto the ground and she could see a hint of pink bloom on his cheeks and nose, rubbing awkward at his messy hair. She sucked in a sharp breath at the sight of the giant boy seated before her, his shirtless torso exposed with black ink that wrapped around his collar bones to make a snake looking creature on his skin. She was gawking and she couldn't stop, she was shocked, stunned.. mesmerized by his body.

His body was drool-worthy. He had a chiseled chest and the skin on it was tanned, glowing healthily. Stomach, sculptured and chiseled to perfection to form a six pack. His biceps were larger than her house with lean, long arms that if he reached up could touch the ceiling.

Tess edged closer until she could see his face, illuminated by the window, looking awkward like she'd never seen him before "Its nothing special I got it not that long ago actually cause of my dad.. I actually haven't showed many people yet " he chuckles, explaining simply of the ink that wrapped around his skin. Her eyes lapped up the sight, slowly moving down his body but stopped.. spotting another scar, only one which was pink and long, snaking around just below his rib cage. She was curious whether he'd had an accident, a surgery? His eyes raised to meet hers, and seemingly notices her staring at his scar and quickly turns away almost ashamed but then she saw him become.. a little annoyed? "what?" His features turned to embarrassment and he quickly pulled his shirt back down over his head to hide himself again.

"Oh I was just.. just looking. Your tattoo. it's cool" she shifted feeling like she'd been caught, looking him in the eyes seeing his cheeks still red even with his shirt back on "does it mean anything?" She says, looking away from his scar and instead manages to keep her gaze with his

"Thanks.. Not really.. my dad had a tattoo similar one on his arm so I just got something similar to remember him by," Darrick shrugged toward her, he gives a chuckle and shakes his head "I know I know, that sounds pretty corny but I don't know. Just happened" he hums deep while pursing his lips when thinking about his dad. His father it seemed had passed away, when, she didn't know but it seemed that Darrick and he were very close, with the expression that came over his face and the somber tone when he spoke of him made her heart ache.

"It's not corny.. My dads gone too.." she spoke softly, gently holding onto her arm when she noticed him eyeing her

"I'm sorry, I know how sucky that is" he says slowly, careful as if testing the waters while leaning forward to rest his elbows on his knees, looking apologetically to her. Her eyes turned to his hands, long fingers clasping together and she felt something she couldn't explain when looking at the chunky rings that decorated his fingers .

"Oh it's okay, it was a long time ago. I'm sorry for your dad too" she waves at him, gently tucking some strands of hair back behind her ears as they looked at each other.

"Same here... we shouldn't dwell on the past, better to focus on the present" he gives a nod and she nodded in return agreeing with the statement. It was true, her father had left a long time ago when she was younger, it'd been so long that she couldn't even remember what he looked like, the memories having faded with the years.

"I couldn't agree more" she hummed and he returned a soft smile in her direction. Letting out a sigh, he rubs at his knees with the palm of his hand, before he began to slowly stand, her head having to turn up to watch his body loom over her. He seemed urgent to leave, but didn't make it obvious as he looked down at her with a kind look. He looked a bit uneasy, as if trying to think what to say..

"Well.. I actually got to go, got~ study to do.. hopefully Austin will be back soon to keep you company. It was nice meeting you, Tess. I hope we get the chance to talk again?" He nods down to her, looking at her then to the doorway where Austin could come walking in at any moment.

She couldn't help but feel warmth spread in her chest and she smiled, hope spreading through her veins and she gives a shy nod "I hope so too.."

"id like that" he spoke deeply and turns, grabbing his jacket to sling over his shoulder, moving to leave Austin's room while pushing his beanie on to hide his messy hair, leaving out the room, his large frame disappearing out the doorway "see you, Tess" he called back, his footsteps echoing down the stairs

She mentally screamed and ran into her room, collapsing into her bed to actually scream, muffled into her pillow.

~~~
The afternoon came and left, Austin arrived home and bombarded her with questions. She made sure to not mention that Darrick was practically naked in front of her and that she was absolutely obsessed at this point. He was kind and hot, but she wasn't about to just let Austin win. Instead playing it cool and acting as if nothing happened, making Austin annoyed at her lack of effort.
The next day school felt longer then the past two days, having math was a drag and hard. Lunch was okay, she had with the humans again, Cherry and Henryk were adorable to watch and Jules made her laugh with her snarky comments. Oreo was quiet, as per usual with a comic book in his hands
Since she'd been driven to school, it was up to Jace to pick her up when school ended. She currently stood alone, giants spilling out of the doors trying to get to cars or busses. She felt weird, so small, so vulnerable.. it was weird and something she knew she wouldn't get use to. Looking around her, she shifted on her feet anxiously waiting for Jace.. wishing he'd hurry the hell up
She was shocked when she finally saw Jace, but instead of seeing his partner in crime Cole she saw.. the dark skinned girl she'd met the day before. Katy, who was speaking to Jace as they walked over together. She didn't know they were friends, but she couldn't help but smile when they came to stand over her, Jace not needing to ask as he crouched to lift her into his hand and bring her up to the giants level.
He wore an oversized black shirt and jeans, white sneakers that matched a beanie he wore over his head. His light brown hair poking out the sides around his ears where he hadn't properly tucked his hair in.
"Hey Katy, what are you doing here?" She asked but was genuinely happy to see the girl "I didn't know you two were friends" Tess smiled largely at the short haired girl, returning a lovely sweet smile back at her.
"Oh I thought I'd come see you again, make sure no one was forgetting you like the other day" she gave a roll of her eyes, " but yeah we talk sometimes, Cole and I usually have drama class together and we end up bumping into each other. You boys are connected at the hip I swear" Katy teased, Jace shrugging and giving a roll of his eyes. Tess chuckled, it was true if the boys didn't look completely different they could be conjoined twins. She was surprised Cole wasn't here now
"Where is Cole anyways?" Tess asked and Jace grunts and rolls his eyes, pointing toward the large school that loomed over the three
"He's in there still creating a script or something for that stupid play he's been talking about" he chuckles but let's out a grunt as Katy punches his other arm "hey!"
"dont say that it's stupid, I'm trying out for that so called stupid play" she glared a little making Tess laugh, finding her expression amusing especially when Jace leans away, like a pup that had been caught his head falls apologetically
"Sorry.. I just, hate plays. All the singing and dancing, ugh it's so boring" he shrugs and looks back down to Tess and brings her close to his face, making her have to lean back at how close she was brought, she could feel his breath on her face "hey~ wanna go watch Austin train?"
"Train? For what?" She speaks slowly, shifting on the spot where she sat, adjusting her white tshirt beneath his gaze feeling uncomfortably close
"Backnott! They just started, do you wanna watch?' Jace exclaims, looking to her with a grin
"Oh~ he didn't tell me he had training" she says, a frown tugging at her lips as she looks to Katy seeing the girl watching quietly as Jace spoke. Why would Austin not tell her something like that
"Uh.. he's dumb remember. He must've just forgot~ don't frown. Come on come anyways It's fun seeing them fight over the ball. Maybe you'll even see Austin get pummelled by Darrick" he grins mischievously, then turns to look at Katy, motioning his head in the direction of where Tess could only guess as where the field must've been "wanna come?"
Katy hesitated, grabbing anxiously at her arm at the offer "I Uh~ even though that's a great offer I gotta go stu~"
"Come on! Study can wait! Gotta support our team" and With his free hand he grabbed Katy's arm and dragged her forward, his hand moving to hold Tess close against his chest to keep her stable and from falling to the ground while Katy was helplessly dragged unable to have a choice on whether she wanted to come or not.
They walked over, Tess in Jace's hand while Katie's hand was in his other. They came to a few long bleachers, looking out upon a huge field. Tess had never seen one so large before. So green and full of life, cheer leaders were kicking and waving Pom poms, a track team could be seen doing laps about the field and then admirers sitting at the stands.
It was then did she spot Austin, Darrick and that Lenny standing together with a team of sport looking boys and coach that stood before them and explained what she could only guess to be the drills they would be doing. The three on lookers sat up at the top of the bleachers, Tess being sat down in Jace's lap with Katy sat beside him on his right where they could see
"I don't know why I'm here I don't even like Backnott" Katy scoffs and crosses her leg where she sat, looking down to Tess and giving a soft smile. Her lips were incredibly full and it took all of Tess self control to not stare
"Either do i, I literally don't watch any sport" Tess laughs with Katy as the girls looked to Jace who looked shocked, shaking his head disapproving
"How could you not! It's the best game ever, I swear you girls are so boring. Clearly you haven't watched backnott. What do you do all day?" He asked, brow raised waiting for an answer but quickly spoke over the top of them "Well I'll show you what your missing out on. Your coming with me to watch the Rutherford game, okay? no buts" he pointed to them both, brows furrowed and lips pursed seriously
"No thanks I couldn't think of anything more bori~" Katy started but Jace snapped his attention to her, shaking his head and causing his beanie to come off a bit, which he drags back down
"No buts! Your coming and we're gonna have a not boring, very very fun time and eat food and laugh and smile and... and~ your coming, you have no choice " He nods, ending the conversation then and there with a cross of his arms and sitting back while Katy laughed a little in shock but silently agreed then turned to watch the boys as they started a small game. Shirts vs no shirts, and it so happened to be that Darrick was a shirt to hide his tattoo and Austin a no shirt, which she didn't want to see at all. Wishing Darrick would rip his shirt off like he had the day before..
She rolled her eyes at Austin when she saw him, looking cocky as he strolled across the field in no shirt knowing he looked good while eyeing the cheer team practicing to the side of the field with a twisted smile. He probably volunteered to be a no shirt.
Strolling into the game, Tess watched as Austin grabbed a padded bat and swung it over his shoulder. His skin glistened with sweats, tan skin stretching and moving as his muscles pulled with every movement. He moved to stand behind the group of boys, facing the centre of the field where another group of guys stoo in a semi circle around a ball. She only scoffed at Austin, smirking confidently as he pointed across the field at Darrick, playfully, she hoped, sliding his thumb across his throat then winking . Even when threatened, Darrick simply smiled and gave a thumbs up in return, ignoring Austin's threat and instead stretched his legs behind him, looking rather calm and collected.
Austin was such a show off, bouncing on the balls of his feet, stretching and using scare tactics by practicing swinging his bat, over and over again and so hard you could hear it from the stands whoosh through the air. it made her roll her eyes knowing what he was doing .
She couldn't tell how the game worked, hardly at all from how the boys were standing on the field. All she knew was Austin had a bat and Darrick didn't have a bat. And instead Darrick was standing closer to the middle, looking focused and concentrated on the ball, his forehead gleaming with beads of sweat and black hair clinging a little to the sides of his face from running around. He was looking like a hot mess and she felt her heart begin to thrum
' Stop it '
"So uh~ What positions are Darrick and Austin playing" She asked, looking away from Darrick and instead turning her eyes up to look at Jace, confusion written in her eyes not knowing where this game was going or how it worked for that matter. Hearing her, Jace turned his gaze down and gives a confident smile feeling deploying a superior attitude since he knew how the game worked, unlike her and Katy who sat dumb founded. Leaning himself down to get on her level, he carefully guided her eyes with a finger to explain
"Well~ see Austin, he's defence. That's why he's got the bat, so his position is to try and stop Darrick and the other team from getting past to score. While Darrick, he's gonna try run up with the ball if it's handed to him, without being tackled or hit so he can score for his team" he pointed, moving his finger up and down the field trying to draw out the game. Tess and Katy both reflected the same look, confused but trying to listen and make sense of the game before them. "Once the whistle blows, both attackers have to run to the centre to steal the ball and then pass back to their forward attacker, which would be Darrick if his team gets the ball. Where he'll run and Austin and the other defenders have to try stop him"
"Okay~ I think I might I understand.. maybe" she scrunched her nose and rested her cheek in her hand, still unsure how exactly this would play out.
The one thing she did know about Backnott is that it was a rough game, too violent for humans to try as they weren't built like giants. Weak in comparison not only in size but also their entire physical makeup was inferior to giants. Giants had thick bones built to fight, fast immune systems to prevent becoming sick or quick in healing when injured, along with heightened senses Giants were considered more like living breathing machines.
The game began. The whistle blew, screaming across the field to signal the beginning. And just like that, all at once like a battle scene bodies came crashing into one another, bone breaking tackles that made her wince. She could feel the adrenaline from the pitch to the stands, the teams growling like animals after their prey, the ball. With a battle cry the two teams were grabbing and running after the ball that sat in the centre of the field, the teams having to run and grab it before the other did. Rough wasn't the right word to explain it, didn't even come close. It was violent. Scratching and pushing, hitting and grabbing.
Through the bodies, she saw one, small white haired boy manage to squeeze through the beasts of buffalos and somehow grab the ball, able to free himself just as quick from the heap of hungry animals. Jace was on the edge of his seat, enjoying the game while Tess and Katy sat, still slightly confused
Lenny.. he had managed to get his hands on the ball and barraged his way back to try handing the ball to Darrick, who was waiting on the balls of his feet for one of his team members pass back to him. The game was fast and all too confusing to her, her brain spinning trying to keep up. Darrick began to run, suddenly the ball in his grasp and was hugging the ball like it was a life source, speeding across the field as if he were flying. Oh boy was Darrick fast, he ducked and weaved and slammed his way through body's like they were nothing in comparison. At one point he managed to ball two smaller boys over into the dirt that tried grabbing him and dragging him down, to no prevail against his might. Continuing his barrage, he began to come up to the defence line, coming face to face with Austin. Even from where she sat she could see a hint of a smirk tugging at his lips as he approached, not hesitating as the other boys bat lifted in defence ready to swing.
It was like watching a movie, in slow motion Austin went for the swing aiming for Darricks side only for their bodies to meet. Bone cracking, she heard their bodies connect, so loud even Katy winced. Darrick barged into Austin and sent them both flying, crashing to the ground in a heap of arms and legs. She didn't mean to gasp, covering her mouth seeing the two boys hit the ground together but it looked bad, she wouldn't of been surprised if they'd broken an arm or a nose. Her reaction didn't match Jace though, who was clapping, rather loud for her ears and cheering Darrick on. Katy laughed as Austin's hit the ground.
"YES DARRICK! WOOO!"
Tess cupped her hands over her hears, Jace's voice rattling her brain inside her skull but made her laugh either way at his excitement. She could tell he wanted to jump and cheer, but didn't with her in his lap. She began to clap too only on instinct and also copying Jace, since it seemed like that was the appropriate thing to do even though she had no clue what had happened or if that was even a touch down or just a good hit. Jace seemed happy and so did the team, cheering as Darrick simply got up, flipping his hair back off his face and brushed himself off as if he didn't just crash into Austin. No broken bones it seemed, maybe not Darrick but maybe Austin since he was still on the ground looking dishevelled. Darrick smiled and helped Austin up, with one hand pulling him onto his feet and patting his back.
It made her smile and she began she to understand why the boys loved the sport so much, even catching a glance of Katy with a small smile and she could tell she was enjoying watching the boys bellow. Her eyes though, seemed glued on Darrick and she couldn't make herself look away.
Another update hope its okays! Would love to see your feedback. This chapter kinda sucked but like I'm trying to get into the cute stuff soon just trying to push the story along.
