Thirty: Rutherford High

~J A C E~

The roar of the crowd was better than any drug to Jace. The rush of a touchdown, the crack of a bat against bone, the spirit of the game, a hot dog and pop - that's heaven right there. Unlike Darrick, Austin and Lenny, Jace could never play the ruthless game of Backnott, being more the kind of guy to sit on the side lines and cheer along his friends. Sometimes he thought about joining the team, considering he was as tall as any player but couldn't possibly make the cut as he was as clumsy as your child sister. Couldn't catch a ball even if it meant saving his life, his only talent being he could sing well in the shower from time to time.

Even if not on the team, Jace always made the effort to turn up to watch every game, wouldn't miss it for the world. To pull on his jersey and join the throng, an army of blue and white students, teachers and parent and child alike. Scream til his throat became raw and gauge himself til his stomach became tight against his belt, then drink the night away with his friends after til he was face down in a soft pillow

Unfortunately, this game felt different from the previous games he had attended. He couldn't shake the feeling of being completely and utterly alone as he sat in the stands by himself. Tess couldn't come, busy planning her night with the humans back at Austin's which she was so excited for. Probably a good idea that she stayed home as the crowd roared like thunder and would probably be too loud for the humans small sensitive ears. Austin and Darrick were on the field, stretching and throwing back and forth a ball during half time. The game had been ferocious, violent and exciting. Darrick and Austin's team were winning just by two points against Rutherford High and were looking good to finish the game with a winning streak. Dressed in their armour of simply shin pads and mouth guards, Jace frowned a little seeing his friends, the favourite players who were similar to celebrities in their town. His friends encouraged the kids that sat beside Jace to hit each other with excitement and scream til his ears began to ring. Cole was unable to make the game either, which saddened Jace as it had become almost tradition for the two to come together dressed in their matching jerseys and face paint. Cole was busy planning his performance for his drama class, his excuse being "I can't.. This is more important"

He was yet to see Katy or Ava, his eyes scanning the crowd trying to spot the familiar pair.. he slouched feeling discouraged as the game commenced once again with a blow of a whistle .

Jace sat begrudgingly with a hot dog in one hand, which coated his long fingers in the delicious grease along with an oversized drink of soda which he hugged to his side and occasionally sipped on. Looking around, he pursed his lips together trying to ignore the children that sat beside him, who didn't seem to know what the meaning of personal space was. Their parents being no help in the matter, looking to their phones instead of looking after their own children.

The crowd was becoming increasingly excited and impatient as they took their seats again amongst the stands as the second half of the game was about to commence. Faint music could be heard from on the field with the occasional happy scream suddenly piercing the air while cheerleaders jumped and skipped, dancing for the crowd with smiles stretched upon their dolled up faces.

Jace sat back and turned to his food. Looking to his hotdog, he felt his mouth water as he brought the delicious slab of meat and bread to his mouth. Enjoying his intimate moment with his hot dog, he didn't care as the game started again with the opposing team, Rutherford High starting with the ball to kickoff. Sitting happily he watched while the crowd shouted around him, practically engulfing his hot dog in a few bites then wiping the grease from his mouth with the sleeve of his jersey. His stomach growled happily in response and he washed it down with a sip of his soda. He was snapped back into reality when the shouting turned to screams and he looked up confused to the game. He gasped to see Darrick, suddenly with the ball in his hand and running! His feet kissed the land as he sped down the field, an unstoppable force like no other!

Jace leapt out of his seat, shouting at the top of his lungs on instinct and nearly dropping his soda in the process. It was like Darricks feet were made to travel at high speeds and even for his large size he appeared to be as light as a feather as he effortlessly sprinted, barging through the opposite team like a bulldozer. One kid not standing a chance as he was shoulder charged by the large boy and ended up face first into the dirt. The crowd screamed, girls awed at Darrick while guys hollered. Jace was standing on his tip toes as he shouted along with the crowd around him, clapping and waving his hands around madly.

"GOOOO DARRICK!!!" Jace screamed, feeling his hot dog wanting to come back up as he jumped around. The defenders didn't stand a chance, Darrick sending them flying like a bowling ball into pins.

TOUCHDOWN~ and the crowd goes wild!

The game had ended, he knew as the giants poured into the house, shouting louder than the rumble of thunder. It was shockingly painful whenever the giants spoke, too loud against his ears. Having to cup his hands over his head as if his eardrums may burst. Ava at least wasn't too loud, instead keeping her voice low for him and even telling some of the other boys to quieten down when they became too loud from their excitement. Which he was incredibly thankful for as he would probably have a splitting headache since he'd been spending most of the afternoon with Ava, Katy and Tess as they didn't appear to be interested in this Backnott game he'd heard so much about from the male giants he'd spent the past day with. Instead he was made to help Tess set up her house for when the other humans arrived from school, while Ava and Katy instead set up the giants kitchen downstairs, making a bowl of punch which was so big he could swim laps in if he were to be dropped in and setting up plates full of snacks he could become lost in

"Do you think they'll actually come?" "Should I call them?" "Is there enough room for everyone?"

Tess had always been a worrier, Jamie could remember she'd always pester him about these sorts of things back in the Humans Quarter. He'd smile and have to hold her hands to calm her nerves, "it'll be okay, don't stress". He'd say, over and over again but like always it didn't work. She wouldn't listen and instead go back to stressing, pacing about the room until he felt dizzy watching her. Her house was incredibly nice, far fancier than anything he'd ever seen. It was cute with incredible detail, the aesthetic matching Tess's personality perfectly.

It was a few hours later since they'd set up the house for the part and the once peaceful home became what he could only assume was pre drinks for the giants before the real party started. Jamie had found himself stuck with Ava upon the giants couch, unable to escape her clutches, not even a second to breath with her always cuddling him. He wanted just a second at this point to himself, he felt like a little doll or pet to this giant girl. Had she forgotten he was a living being, that he didn't need caring for and the excessive petting was creating knots in his hair. He was surprised she hadn't wrapped him up and placed him in her pocket for safe keeping for later. The thoughts that found themselves into his mind as he sat in her lap made him shudder and blush at the same time, unsure of what the night would come to for himself and Ava.

With liquor in his system Ava didn't seem to be so much as a pester anymore, instead what Jamie once found uncomfortable he now relished in the feeling of her fingers playing with his hair and running down his back. He hummed softly and let his eyes close whenever she trailed an oversized finger down his spine, seated within her lap he focused on soaking in the warmth of her thighs beneath his body. She wore a small black dress, now having dolled up her face with makeup and curled her hair into loose waves. The sweet smell of her perfume was rich and heavenly and he didn't even care that Cole was around, hearing rumours that he was mad about Ava's sudden love for the human boy, it didn't help that the giant blonde had been staring at Jamie majority of the night. Jamie didn't care what Tess was up to, knew she was safe with Darrick, who had immediately picked up his tiny friend when he arrived to Austin's. They had disappeared together upstairs and Jamie was beginning to wonder what the hell they were up to!

Instead he let his eyes lift up til they met the underneath of Avas chin, trying to not let his eyes flicker to the underboob view he had of the giant girl, his face turning a little red and looking away not wanting to look like a pervert. He smiled gently to himself he felt as if he were the luckiest guy in the room, seated in the lap of a hot giant girl. Even if he didn't want to admit it, he was rather enjoying himself now with a few beers and a girl, he felt like he was sitting on top of the world. Even if it were a little scary still and intimidating, he found the alcohol was calming his nerves to the point he wasn't curled into a scared ball or resisting. He could picture the guys reaction back home in the Human Quarters, could imagine their faces if only they knew where he was seated right now. They'd be so jealous! Who wouldn't enjoy it? he brought his beer to his lips and leant into her finger as they brushed his side.

"Hey Jamie? Would you like me to get you another drink?" He heard the giantess, Ava's words vibrating all around him and making him feel oddly comforted by her voice. Sweet and kind, she'd been nothing but caring toward him.

"Yes please.. Uh thank you" he smiled up at her, seeing as she grinned back excitedly at him now having enough confidence to speak to her.

"Stay here, I'll be right back okay" she carefully scooped the boy up and placed him on the arm of the couch before she climbed up onto her feet, making his eyes boggle as he got the perfect lower angle looking up her backside beneath her skirt. His face turned red and he quickly turned his attention away to not perv on the girl, feeling embarrassed as she happily strolled away unaware of what he'd seen. He felt a little uneasy seated upon the arm of the chair, teeter too far to one side and he'd easily fall and become a bloody mess on the ground bellow.

"Oh god.." he murmured, waving at his warm cheeks as he looked about the room at the small group of giants. He knew he'd have to go up to Tess's home as soon as the other humans arrived, who were relatively late which he knew was probably stressing Tess out. He began to wonder when she'd return, feeling uncomfortable in that moment seated alone upon the giant couch. He took his time to relish the feeling of being in a world so large, with giant girls and a couch that was so big it could fit an entire street block back home. He felt his stomach groan and he clutched at himself, feeling his head spin beginning to miss to comfort and safety of Ava's hands. He was so exposed, in the open with a house of giants he didn't know.

"How I wish I could trade positions with you right now" Jamie felt his body leap out of his skin, grabbing at his heart as he looked to see Cole sitting down, taking Avas seat and lounging into the cushion. The curly haired blonde looked to Jamie with a raised brow, looking over the small boy slowly as if trying to size up his competition. Jamie instead cowered beneath his intense gaze, shifting uncomfortably away feeling intimidated by the sheer size of the other boy. The intensity of his eyes made him shrink back, feeling smaller than he already was. Cole was handsome, Cole being the typical pretty boy that made Jamie feel insecure at times.

"Why would you want that?" Jamie muttered out finally after realising he was staring at Cole nervously. Swallowing tightly he began turning until his body faced away from Cole, finding he was burning up beneath the giant eyes

Letting his head roll back Cole let out a laugh of amusement, shaking his head and causing his blonde locks to sweep across his features with a deep smile drawn into his lips "oh you know why, lucky bastard. Surely you catch a feel later"

"W-what?.." Jamie's eyes widened and he turned his attention back to Cole who was grinning mischievously, his smile as big as a Cheshire cats "are your implying of having a feel of her boobs, I~" he was stunned, shocked, didn't know what to say! What was Jamie to say to the giant guy that was supposedly angry about him stealing his girl!

"Hey don't stress~ everyone looks at her tits, we're boys aren't we?" Cole chuckles, snorting a little after as he sees Jamie's expression that had come across his small face "Come on loosen up, bud. I'm not gonna hurt you, despite what everyone's been saying I honestly don't care that she has a little crush on you. It's cute" he smiled and moved a finger to stretch out toward the human boy that sat upon the arm chair, making the human flinch away from the giant billboard sized hand.

"Sorry~ My names Cole Bradford, I don't think we've properly met" Cole hummed, keeping his finger outstretched while carefully tucking a strand of his blonde mane behind his ear with his other hand out of his eyes

"I-I'm Jamie.." the smaller boy replied, looking a little frightened and suspicious while reaching out slowly to grasp the giants finger between both of his smaller hands in a makeshift handshake.

"Pleasure to meet you" Cole smiles, a kind smile that stretched to his eyes and wrinkled his forehead.

"What are you doing? Are you pestering the poor boy?" Both the boys jumped as Ava appeared before the two, arms crossed across her chest and making the boys look up simultaneously. Coles eyes went wide while Jamie cowered away, snatching back his hands into his lap, his palms clammy and heart racing a million miles an hour.

"No, just introducing myself to Jamie" Cole raised a brow up toward Ava as he lounged back calmly, smiling as he shimmied to the side to get out of her way to allow her to take her seat down by Jamie once more "In all honesty I think your the bigger pests out of all of us" Cole smirked smugly as he looked to the girl, raising his chin as he did so.

"Shut it, Cole. Why don't you go find someone else to sit with. Threes a crowd and your not welcome" Ava pushed at Coles knee trying to push him away , glaring a little before turning her attention to Jamie, carefully setting down a tiny beer before him which she had retrieved from the kitchen. It looked more like a small collectors item in her large hands but so normal for Jamie as he grabbed the bottle, eyeing Cole before cracking it open carefully in his hands, wincing at the sskkk sound it makes.

"Whatever, I know when I'm not wanted~ talk to you later Jamie" Cole gave a flicker of a smile before proceeding to stand, pushing himself out of the couch with a low groan before heading into the kitchen where Jace and Katy sat. Talking about the game, Jace speaking loudly and expressing the moment with his hands waving in the air before him

"Bye~" Jamie spoke softly as he watched Cole leave, he felt comforted suddenly knowing Cole wasn't angry or jealous of him. It calmed his nerves, hoping they're little interaction meant they were on good terms. Smiling to himself, he brought the cool bottle of alcohol to his lips to have a swig from.

Maybe Living with the giants wouldn't be so bad after all..
